DJ Khaled Visits Rihanna’s Childhood Neighborhood In Barbados

DJ Khaled is in family vacation mode, and it seems like he thought that Barbados would be a great place to celebrate the holiday season. He seems quite right, as new social media videos he shared show a beautiful day at the Caribbean island nation. Not only that, but the We The Best Music mogul took some time to pass through his frequent collaborator Rihanna’s childhood neighborhood. There, he spoke to locals and remarked how special it was to “breathe the same air” she breathed in her youth and witness where she flies kites. Overall, the New Orleans native seemed appreciative of the opportunity, and their history together indicates how much it means to him.

For example, this is what he had to say to Rihanna before her Super Bowl Halftime Show this year. “RiRi, I love you so much,” DJ Khaled told Page Six. “Congratulations in advance. They changed the name of Super Bowl. It’s called ‘RiRi Super Bowl.’ I’mma have my airhorn ready and I’m going to order me a cheeseburger well done. I’mma sit back, relax, watch the show… come on! It’s Super Bowl! I’m coming as a fan and Rihanna’s my sister. I can’t wait to see it. I’m here to support. We’re all winners.”

DJ Khaled Visits “Rihanna Drive” In Barbados

Of course, Rihanna may be an international superstar, but she still has very strong ties to her home. Unfortunately, recent news around this is less heartening, as a cousin of hers recently passed away. But for the most part, the superstar singer is more prone to share the beautiful things to find within Barbados and represent it with much pride. She and her boo A$AP Rocky, plus their kids, have really enjoyed their vacations there, and luxuries aside, we wish her family the best amid this difficult time.

Meanwhile, we wonder if Khaled will model for the Bad Gal’s clothing line again, or if they have more songs on the way. Everyone’s begging for new music from her, so we’d happily take any guest verse, chorus, or full song to hold us over for her new album. Hopefully things pan out in 2024. Boosie Badazz Is Building A Neighborhood In His Backyard

Rapper Boosie Badazz is reportedly in the process of creating an entire community in his backyard for his family and friends to enjoy. According to a video circulating the internet revealing Boosie’s progress, the neighborhood will feature luxury apartments and streets named after his children. The video also claims that the neighborhood will also feature “a massive pool,” a basketball court, a movie theater, a tennis court, and more.

No Jumper shared the video to their Instagram, and viewers were quick to comment. One user writes, “Finally someone doing something interesting and profitable with their money.” Another adds, “That’s what’s up! I’m doing the same thing here in Detroit. We need more of this.” Not everyone is a fan of Boosie’s big plans, however, with one commenter claiming, “This is one of the worst ideas since the ‘big ass chain’ but at least this should have some resale value assuming it ever gets finished.”

Boosie Invests In His Family

In other Boosie news, the rapper recently shared his feelings on Twitter about the highly-anticipated Devin Haney vs. Vasiliy Lomachenko boxing match. He Tweeted, “I F**K WITH HANEY BUT I JUST WATCH CHAMP LOSE EVERY ROUND OF THAT FIGHT NO BOXING RIGGED TIMES HAVE CHANGED THIS S**T BOUT MONEY.” “I won money on Haney but Money can’t make me Lie,” he added alongside a prayer emoji. A clip of the rapper going on a jelly-related tangent on Instagram Live also took off earlier this week. Boosie was pulling through a McDonald’s drive-through in front of viewers, when he realized that he hadn’t received as many jelly packets as he would’ve preferred. He proceeded to go off about how “stingy” the McDonald’s employees act “with fu***in jelly.”

Earlier this month, Boosie also sat down with VladTV, where he revealed that he believes Tory Lanez should have taken a plea deal in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case. He discussed his own experience and said, “If he would have went in there and said he wanted to make a deal, [with] them lawyers he got, he could have been doing time in a facility with damn-near nobody around him.” Boosie added that he, personally, “would have tried to get five years.”

03 Greedo Asks Media To Stop Calling Him An L.A. Rapper

When it comes to hip-hop media and news coverage, people try their best to remedy mistakes and avoid them. However, especially when it comes to how to represent other artists, slip-ups happen and should be treated with respect and proper care. Moreover, 03 Greedo took to his Instagram story to ask media outlets to stop referring to him as an L.A. rapper.

Of course, that’s technically the case, but the 35-year-old specifically reps the neighborhood of Watts. Furthermore, Greedo still made his love for the greater Los Angeles county clear.

“To all the media people’s,” his post began. “Yes. love California and the county of Los Angeles. And will bring my area to the top of the game this year. BUT I Am Not From LA!! (The city) NO!! I am From Watts. So La Rapper is not how y’all finna introduce me cuz.”

To be fair, such a mistake is one that even this writer made in previous reports. Still, it’s heartening to see Greedo speak his truth and clarify things as he gears up for a big year. While the conditions behind his release are murky, he still recently confirmed that he’s out of jail. However, things are easier said than done.

“Yes, I am free from prison but I am still not completely out,” he wrote. “For anyone confused I am in a halfway house for up to 6 months with a five minute phone call a week. Where I am I just want to see my daughter and record music. I wish I could have released alot more music while I was away. So, I have this chip on my shoulder to just go record n drop at least 12 tapes before my major album and I honestly just don’t want to talk to alot of people yet. I got a lot I want to clear in my head first.

“So, if I’m not recording with you or laying with you, I’m not inna rush to talk after damn near 5 years,” he continued. “Just being honest! Salute to the GeeHive and all my supporters, I love you. Thank u for keeping me alive while I was incarcerated. Yours Truly, Cheeto.”

Still, what do you think of 03 Greedo calling the media out for labeling him an L.A. rapper? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for the latest updates on 03 Greedo.
