Pusha T Bobblehead Giveaway Announced By The Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards will give away 10,000 Pusha T bobbleheads ahead of their game against Boston this weekend. “I have to be honest, I have never had a bobblehead made of me in my likeness, ever. You know, when I first heard the opportunity, I thought it was an honor. I looked it as an honor, honestly,” Pusha said.

Furthermore, the Wizards highlighted Pusha’s ties to the team. “Growing up in Virginia Beach, he was drawn towards the Wizards (then known as the Bullets) given their proximity.  “Where I’m from in Virginia, the closest team that we had to us was the Wizards. So, we naturally gravitated in fanfare to the Wizards. It’s always been like that since they were the Bullets. I just have such a strong history, it’s always been very supportive, D.C. has always been supportive of my music career,” he said. But his affinity for the DMV has continued into adulthood, as he moved to Bethesda in the mid-2010s, where his relationship with the Wizards grew deeper,” a press release read.

Pusha T Needle Drop Hypes Modern Warfare III Trailer

However, NBA bobbleheads aren’t the only pop culture thing Pusha has been involved in recently. A teaser for Modern Warfare III teaser followed main antagonist Makarov being escorted through prison to receive a new tattoo. Meanwhile, Soap gives one of his usual sonorous monologues about stopping evil. This is overlaid with footage of some of the game’s more iconic moments – a terror attack in London, Makarov bringing down a plane carrying the President of Russia. All in all, it was a hyped trailer ahead of the game’s main reveal last August.

A majority of the trailer is scored to Colonel Bagshot’s 1971 single “Six Day War”. However, right at the end, as Makarov looks at the camera, there is an amazing Pusha needle drop. Pusha sampled “Six Day War” on “Just So You Remember” last year and it’s that intense line (My Joker smile, you know who the villain is/Just so you remember who you dealin’ with…) that hear right at the end of the video. Furthermore, Pusha shared the video to his Instagram with the lyrics in the caption.

RJ Barrett To Miss Time After Brother’s Death

RJ Barrett will be indefinitely sidelined following the death of his younger brother. Nathan Barrett played at the prestigious Monteverde Academy. However, the details surrounding his death have not been released. Barrett has previously spoken about the close bond he shared with his brother. “In my family, we’re very competitive. Everyone is always trying to beat each other. Everyone is an athlete, so that’s where I get all my competitive drive,” he told SLAM in 2018.

Barrett was the third-overall pick in 2019 after a one-and-done season with Duke. He was a day-one starter for the Knicks but would only make the playoffs twice with the team. Despite this, in 2022, Barrett became the first player to sign a multiyear extension off their rookie contract with the Knicks since 1999. However, in December 2023, the Knicks traded Barrett to his hometown Raptors to acquire O.G. Annouby.

Stephen A. Smith Claims To Be A Bigger Star “Than Most Of The New York Knicks”

Elsewhere, Stephen A. Smith recently made a bold claim about his beloved Knicks. “This is the Mecca, this is Madison Square Garden, this is New York City, baby. They can’t get a star. They cannot get a star. You had a chance! You had a chance and you passed up. Woj is excellent information, all the inside info, he will break it down to a science and make you say, ‘Yeah, it makes sense.’ But it doesn’t change the reality: It’s the Mecca, and the stars come to visit. We never have any. Do you realize a legitimate argument could be made that Stephen A. Smith is one of the biggest stars in New York? Do you realize that? That’s a damn shame. Bad knees, 56 years old, ain’t thought about playing basketball in about 30 years, and I am a bigger star than most of the New York Knicks. It’s a damn shame,” Smith ranted.

Smith’s comments, and his allusions to ESPN colleague Adrian Wojnarowski, come after the Knicks swung a blockbuster trade for O.G. Annouby. A move they have been pursuing since the summer, the Knicks sent Immanuel Quickley and Barrett to Toronto. Annouby was averaging 15 points this season and serves as a solid starting small forward in New York. However, he’s not the “star power” that championship-hungry fans like Smith are looking for. It’s also a move that Smith has been less than enthusiastic about.

Boosie Badazz Vents His Frustrations With New Orleans Pelicans For Lowballing Him: “They Don’t F*** With Me”

Boosie Badazz has a bone to pick and this time it is not with another rapper. He has always been an outspoken figure in the genre for better or worse. But, in this case, he has a solid point to make here. The Louisiana MC is one of the main faces when you think of artists from the Southern state. However, the New Orleans Pelicans are not looking to cater to him, even with all of the things he has done. According to HipHopDX, Boosie has been having issues with the NBA franchise for quite some time. From what we know, it seems to stem from the “insulting” offers the organization have been dishing out.

The trap rap star went on a rant on his Instagram Live and essentially called out the franchise for being cheap. His two main gripes with the Pelicans have to do with only being paid $1,000 for a performance at the arena, as well as no courtside seats. “They don’t wanna give me no courtside tickets. That’s cold-blooded. The Pelicans, they don’t fuck with me. Not the players, just… every time I try to get courtside tickets, I can’t get courtside tickets.”

Boosie Badazz Says Thanks But No Thanks To The Pelicans

He laughed off the lowball and continued to say that the Atlanta Hawks offer way more. “[They] pay $10,000, $7,500 to perform to their artists, and courtside seats.” That is quite ludicrous, especially because he is not synonymous with Georgia nearly as much as Louisiana. Boosie even went on to reveal that they asked him to perform for an HBCU celebration with the same “cold-blooded” offer. “They wanted me to perform at the HBCU night. Them people said $1K and I’m from Louisiana. That’s crazy. I’m like, ‘That don’t come with courtside seats?’ They’re like, ‘No.’ I think I told ’em, ‘I appreciate it but I’m good. I feel like that’s an insult.’”

What are your thoughts on Boosie Badazz not being able to get courtside seats for the Pelicans game? Is $1,000 too low of a payout to perform? Why do you think the organization cannot be more accommodating? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Boosie Badazz and the NBA. Stephen A. Smith Wants Anthony Edwards To Step Up In Wake Of KAT Injury

Stephen A. Smith has said that it’s Anthony Edwards’ “moment” after his Timberwolves’ teammate Karl-Anthony Towns was shut down for the season. Edwards, the first-overall pick in 2020, is averaging 26.4/5.2/5.1 this season. If the Wolves are to continue their historic season, Edwards is going to need to carry the load down the stretch. The Timberwolves are 44-19 and first in the Western Conference.

However, Edwards is already someone that Towns himself thinks is destined for greatness. “It brings a smile to all of our faces. He’s one of the top players in the NBA right now. And when you mix that in with his charisma and the personality he has, that’s a huge boost,” Towns explained on First Take. Edwards is coming off the second All-Star nod of his career and is only going to get better as he continues to improve. Towns also called Edwards “the next face of the NBA“.

Stephen A. Smith Hypes Biggie As The JAY-Z Who Never Was

Elsewhere, Smith showed love for Biggie in a recent interview, stating that the rapper would have been as big as JAY-Z if not for his murder. “If Biggie were alive today, I think he could be Hov. I’m not sure though, but I will tell you that his lyrics, along with his music, the sound of it. I would say to you I gotta give it to Biggie,” Smith told the Connect The Dots podcast.

However, when it came to his final ranking of rappers, Smith backed his close friend, Hov. “I have to go with JAY-Z. I personally think he’s the greatest. Biggie was something special, make no mistake about it, rapping about what he knows. JAY-Z knows more. Jay is more seasoned, so he had more to say. Even though Biggie spectacular, Nas is spectacular, Eminem is spectacular, LL [Cool J], DMX, all of them, spectacular. But, there’s only one Hov, bro. He has proven that through the test of time, with everything he’s done,” Smith said.

Damian Lillard Plays Coy About GloRilla Thirsting For Him

Damian Lillard refused to be baited by TMZ when asked about any potential relationship links to GloRilla. When asked if he was aware that the rapper had shot her shot with him, Lillard simply smiled and offered a “no comment”. Glo put her claim down on Lillard at the All-Star Game, posting up with the MVP and getting thirsty on main about her desire for him.

Of course, Lillard is currently a free agent in the dating realm. In October, Lillard filed for divorce from his wife Kay’La. Lillard filed the motion in Clackamas County Circuit Court and the news was first reported by the Willamette Week. The Lillards have been married since 2021 but have been together since their college days at Weber State. However, Lillard’s filing cites “irreconcilable differences” and suggests that the couple has been living apart since December 2022. The couple have three children together – a five-year-old and two-year-old twin daughters.

GloRilla Gives Dating Advice But Fans Aren’t Feeling It

Meanwhile, it wasn’t too long ago that Glo was dishing out advice on social media. In January, Glo hit up her followers with some thoughts. “Ladies, don’t show favoritism among your n-ggas. Because as soon as your favorite n-gga mad, he gon be cursing your other n-ggas out just for a motherf-cker saying good morning! Don’t show favoritism with y’all n-ggas. That favorite n-gga sh-t a motherf-cker,” Glo said while out shopping. Glo has been previously open about her dating habits and how she doesn’t tend to stick to a single person.

However, it is advice that has not gone over well. “The ladies are doomed if they need her advice on something 😂,” one person joked. “Or just not mess around with multiple people,” countered another. “We finna see her POSTING & SAYING dumb SH*T bc she wanna show off THAT CHEST 🤣,” theorized a third. Glo’s newly-enhanced chest was on full display as the rapped rocked a lowcut halter top. How do you feel about Glo’s advice? Let us know in the comments.

Ben Simmons Shut Down For The Season

After just 15 games, Ben Simmons is once again heading to the injured list. “Ben Simmons will remain out for the remainder of the season while he consults with specialists and explores treatment options for the nerve impingement in his lower back. Simmons, along with his representatives and Nets medical personnel, are currently in discussions with numerous experts to determine the course of action that will provide him with the best opportunity for long-term sustainable health,” the Nets said in a statement.

Despite confidence that 2023/24 would be his comeback season, Simmons was stymied by a recurring back injury. This caused him to miss 38 games in the middle of the season. Furthermore, the same injury had led him to miss the five games prior to the Nets 86ing for the rest of the year. It remains to be seen what will what with the former No. 1 pick. He is a free agent after the 2024/25 season.

Cam’ron Makes On-Air Apology To Ben Simmons

With Simmons shut down after 15 games, his season will likely be remembered for his beef with Cam’ron. The altercation spurred a rare apology from Killa. The rapper and It Is What It Is host had previously insinuated that he and Simmons had gotten involved in an altercation. This reportedly occurred backstage during a Nets game. Cam’ron clarified that he misrepresented the situation and that he was sorry for doing that.

However, reaction to the apology was split. Many social media users were surprised that Cam’ron even had the capacity to apologize. This is given his history of verbose and unapologetic statements live on air. After all, this is the same man who responded to divorce drama by asking about the wife’s cleavage and then getting a massage from her. However, the other set of responses were more expressing their surprise that Cam’ron had taken things as far as he had in the first place.

[WATCH] SOURCE SPORTS: Ma$e Says He’d Average More Points In Today’s NBA Than Most Players In The League

Screenshot 2024 03 07 at 7.28.17 AM

On the most recent episode of It Is What It Is podcast, co-host Ma$e claimed that if he played in today’s NBA, he feels “like I could play against these n-ggas.”

Making a very bold, yet possibly realistic statement as a former high school b-ball standout, the former Bad Boy artist said after speaking about Lebron dropping 40,000 points in his career, “40,000 points is a remarkable feat. I just think it’s a cupcake league, for real. I think in this league today, if I was in top shape, I could probably average about 15, 16. I’m just keeping it real,” he chuckled. The former Manhattan Center shooting guard added, “When I ain’t make it in my generation, I felt like, yeah, it was a few n-ggas that was probably better than me. This generation? I feel like I could play against these n-ggas.”

Go to the 29:00 mark of the podcast to hear Ma$e’s commentary:

Ma$e even added his former teammate and co-host Camron to the convo, saying, “I think Killa, you coulda probably played 20 years against these n-ggas today. You woulda averaged probably about 18.”

Cam replied, “In my prime? Maybe. I’d have to work on my jump shot. They didn’t let us shoot jump shots. Crazy shit it, I had a great jump shot when I stopped playing basketball. When we played basketball, coach would almost want to assassinate you if shot a jump shot. You had to go to the basket.”

E-40 Showered With Love By The Warriors In New ESPN Profile

A profile highlighting the relationship between E-40 and the Golden State Warriors has shown just how much the team loves the rap legend. “Since I can remember, 40 was ‘Uncle Earl.’ I would go over to his house and hang with his kids Droop-E and Emari. I think both 40 and my father, being from the Bay and doing positive things for the city, turned their friendship into a brotherhood. To this day, they think of themselves as brothers,” Gary Payton II told ESPN. “I always gravitate to people who aren’t following the scene, but who are in the scene,” noted Andre Iguodala, who grew up listening to 40’s music in Chicago.

Furthermore, it’s not a one-sided love. 40 is a constant presence at Oracle Arena and has the number of basically every player on the team. “If you make yourself present and show people you’re successful at the games, people will show love. This is a dynasty, one of the greatest in many years. It all makes sense for me, to put myself in the presence of greatness and be elite,” 40 said.

E-40 Resolves Playoff Dispute With The Kings

However, 40’s fandom has not always gone unchecked. During the NBA playoffs last year, 40 was removed from a Warriors game against the Kings. According to 40, he was subjected to consistent heckling from a white fan but security only intervened when he responded. He claimed that the security at the Golden 1 Center viewed him as the instigator.

After threatening to boycott the rest of the series, 40 issued a joint statement with the Kings. “After a series of thoughtful and transparent conversations, both parties agree that there was a miscommunication regarding the circumstances that occurred during the Kings vs. Warriors game on Saturday night.” the statement began. 40’s addressing of the heckling behind him had been characterized as “excessive standing”. However, these claims were addressed as the statement continued. “Contrary to speculation, Mr. Earl “E-40″ Stevens did not stand excessively from his ticketed courtside seat. The outcome resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding between two parties.” This claim was undercut by ESPN sources claiming E-40 was not warned about his conduct prior to being removed.

Shaq Has One Major Issue With Zion Williamson’s Recent Dunk Contest Comments

Shaq has expressed his disappointment in Zion Williamson’s recent comments about participating in the dunk contest if he is named an All-Star. For the Hall of Famer, Williamson didn’t express enough desire to be named an All-Star. “You have to see it, Zion. When I make the All-Star team, yes. All that if talk, it’s just telling me that you’re not fully confident in yourself. Which is ok, he’s still a young player. But at some point, you have to say — like I said in Vegas — ‘this is my league’,” Shaq said.

Williamson is a two-time All-Star, appearing at the midseason event in 2021 and 2023. Williamson is averaging 22/5.5/5.2 this season but was not named an All-Star in a crowded field across both conferences. The Pelicans are 37-25 and fifth in the Western Conference.

Shaq Shows Zion Williamson No Mercy

However, as Shaq himself alluded to, it’s not the first time that he has laid into the 2019 first-overall pick. Shaq and Charles Barkley had no time for Williamson’s poor showing against the Lakers in the semifinals of the In-Season Tournament last December. “Does not run hard — it’s not a diss, this is gonna be a lesson from one great big man to another guy that can be a great. Does not run hard. I had the same problem my first, second year — I thought I was running hard. Charles talks about this all the time, my talent’s gonna get me 20. When I start going to 20, 30, and 40, it’s because I started doing certain things,” Shaq said.

However, the Hall of Fame big man wasn’t finished “He doesn’t create easy points for himself. I saw a couple times when he had a couple times at the basket, he don’t seal, right? He doesn’t demand the ball … and he doesn’t have that look. Like, I’m not the greatest athlete ever, but I know a look when I see it. In every sport, I know a look. Tiger Woods had that look, Jack Nicklas had that look. He just doesn’t have that look. And he doesn’t rebound. He does not rebound,” he continued.

Mase Blasts “Cupcake” NBA, Says He Would Be A 16-PPG Player

Ma$e took aim at the NBA on It Is What It Is this week while discussing LeBron James surpassing 40,000 career points. “I think the 40,000 points is a remarkable feat. I just think it’s a cupcake league for real. I think in this league, today, if I was in top shape, I probably could average about 15-16. I’m just keeping it real. When I didn’t make it in my generation, I felt like it was a few n-ggas that was probably better than me. This generation, I feel like I could play with these n-ggas,” the rapper boasted. Neither Ma$e nor Cam’ron survived even college ball, let alone being a consideration for the NBA.

Averaging 15-16 points a game in the modern NBA is no easy feat, despite what Ma$e thinks. That range puts a player in the top 80 scorers in the league this season, somewhere between Immanuel Quickley (16.1) and Bennedict Mathurin (14.5). Jaden Ivey is 77th in scoring this season with an average of 15.1.

Mase & Cam’ron Find Dwyane Wade’s Painted Nails Hilarious

Of course, one of Ma$e’s favorite things to do on It Is What It Is is to poke fun at the NBA. Back in January, Ma$e and Cam’ron continued their crusade to uphold the gender binary . The pair laughed at Dwyane Wade’s painted nails so hard that they cried. Wade had painted his nails in the Heat’s signature colors as he attended a Hall of Fame ceremony and statue unveiling in Miami. However, this mundane act was enough to reduce the pair of 40-somethings to fits of tearful laughter. Ignoring Treasure Wilson’s reasoning that plenty of male celebrities now paint their nails, the rap duo went as far as to nonsensically compare Wade’s actions to “Michael Jordan modeling lingerie”.

However, there is just a little bit of hypocrisy going on from the pair. After all, Cam’ron himself has previously gotten very upset when people have implied he is “gay” because he famously wears pink. “You know how long I had to hear, ‘Cam’s gay, he wears pink’? Bring your mother around, n-gga. See if she gives a f-ck, n-gga. See if your mom gives a whole f-ck, n-gga. I’ll tell her how gay I am. I’ll f-ck her in the pink mink,” Cam’ron said on a July 2023 episode of It Is What It Is.
