NBA YoungBoy & Rich Gang Reunite For New Song, “Military”

NBA YoungBoy has had a relentless year. Dropping seven full-length projects throughout the course of 2022, he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

He returns today for another official link-up with Birdman’s Rich Gang on “Military.” Although the video was released on YoungBoy’s YouTube page in October, the song is now available on streaming services.

Featuring D-Rok on the braggadocios hook, the new track is another hard-hitting banger from the “Make No Sense” rapper.

The two verses from the Baton Rouge native continue his streak as one of the hottest rappers in the game. Through his melodic flows, he’s able to reflect sentimentally on his come-up and simultaneously flex the perks of his lifestyle.

He does so all while sticking to the army-inspired theme of the track, dropping creative references to the title throughout. “Did time, and fished for poles like the military / Whenever the price droppin’ low, gotta catch it / It’s hectic, it’s reckless, it’s bad in my section / That’s a new .223 with that drum on the bottom, I bought it in Texas / Havin’ ’em sticks like I come from the army,” he raps in the first verse.

Birdman allegedly wanted to sign the 23-year-old to Rich Gang in 2018. Although it was never made official, the “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” rapper has consistently praised him for being “the next biggest superstar in the world.”

Last year, the duo teamed up to drop a 13-track joint mixtape, From The Bayou.

Quotable Lyrics:

Mama wrote his goals inside the obituary
Broke, came home tryna get some money
Still totin’ straps like the military
None of them don’t like YoungBoy
So I guess that’s why they despise me
F*ck all the rules, I’m onto you, fool
4MATIC Maybach, I call it a Minibach
Hustle, my daughter gon’ need her some Similac
What I feel? I don’t care how it turn out
I’m not worried ’bout a thing, we got plenty gats

Yaya Mayweather Sentenced For Stabbing NBA Youngboy’s BM

A judge finally handed down a sentence in Yaya Mayweather’s 2020 stabbing case. Floyd Mayweather’s daughter will serve six years probation after she was found guilty of stabbing the mother of NBA Youngboy’s child.

Police arrested 22-year-old Iyanna Mayweather in Houston in 2020. According to prosecutors, Yaya reportedly showed up to YB’s home in Houston when she saw the rapper’s baby mother, Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, inside of the residence. From there, she reportedly claimed to be YB’s fiancée, picked up two knives, and charges at Jacobs.

Jacobs sustained injuries on her arm from the scrap between her and Yaya. An ambulance rushed Jacobs to the hospital where she underwent surgery for multiple lacerations to her arm. Authorities said she was in stable condition and recovered since.

On Thursday, the judge gave Yaya Mayweather a Deferred Adjudication of Guilt along with her six-year probation sentence. She pled guilty to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.

Yaya and Youngboy are no longer together but they do share a child, Kentrell Jr.

NBA Youngboy hasn’t publicly discussed the scenario since it occurred. However, he’s clearly in a productive and positive space these days. The Baton Rouge rapper delivered a spree of projects since August’s The Last Slimeto. He dropped off Realer 2, Ma’ I Got A Family, 3800 Degrees, and most recently, his collaborative effort with Quando Rondo, 3860. At the same time, he’s also unloaded a slew of compilation projects uplifting the Never Broke Again Team throughout the year. On top of that, he recently released “Military” with Rich Gang on Thursday night.

Additionally, Amazon and AMP partnered with YB for the launch of his own radio show. The show launched earlier this month as a promotional tool before his next studio album.

Clearly, NBA Youngboy is revving up for some major plays in the new year. We’ll keep you posted on more info regarding YB’s next studio album.

NBA YoungBoy’s Baby Mama Vents On IG: “Nobody Love Me FR”

2022 has been a busy year for NBA YoungBoy in more ways than one. The 23-year-old has dropped seven more full-length projects and countless YouTube videos in the past twelve months.

On top of this, his time has also been spent being a father to his growing list of children. The newest addition to his family came in September when he officially welcomed his tenth into the world.

This marked his second kid with his new fiancée, YouTuber Jazlyn Mychelle.

The “Make No Sense” rapper’s father duties run deep. His other eight children are with seven different women. Not all of them are happy with their situations.

One, in particular, is social media star, Jania Meshell. She and YB are co-parents to their son, Kacey. However, there has been some drama involving the pair.

The influencer recently took to her Instagram Stories to air out her feelings. “Nobody love me fr and yesterday showed me that when I’m not around I get talked about like a dog,” she wrote.

“The things I heard come out of somebody mouth tonight was so disrespectful,” she went on. “I don’t ever wanna deal with anyone ever again ’cause I just feel like everybody feel that way about me.”

It sounds like the 22-year-old has had enough of the drama surrounding YoungBoy. She subsequently concluded her message by announcing that she would be taking a break from social media to pull herself together.

Things with her baby daddy clearly didn’t work out. However, the influencer is currently dating Atlanta Hawks star, Dejounte Murray.

The Baton Rouge native was recently stirring up some beef with the new couple after hearing that his son was kicked out of the car by the point guard.

“I’m a real shooter b***h, yo bf a hoe! I was cool with him until he put my son out the car and made him walk,” he wrote in an IG Story.

Meshell later cleared the air on her own Instagram account. She asked Kacey while on Live if the NBA star has ever put them out. “He didn’t,” replied the six-year-old.

Furthermore, YoungBoy took shots at his baby mamas in late October. This came as a response to some tweets that a number of them had written about his alleged lack of a relationship with his kids.

Meshell was one such parent. “Growing up without one, I just love it for kids that actually have it,” she wrote on Twitter about “real fathers.”

It seems as though The Last Slimeto rapper is having an undeniably hard time balancing his responsibilities and keeping everyone happy.

NBA YoungBoy Welcomes His 10th Child

NBA YoungBoy is celebrating fatherhood once again. Last month, the Louisiana rapper revealed that he and his fiancée Jazlyn Mychelle were expecting a bundle of joy, making it his tenth child— ninth biologically. On Wednesday (September 28), YoungBoy shared a photo of himself holding and feed his newborn baby, with the caption, “‘We got left today for a little but it’s cool’ Top #newborn.”

The 22-year-old rapper and Jazlyn already share a daughter, Alice, who was born in 2021. The birth of the newborn comes just months after YoungBoy announced that the pair were engaged by posting a photo of Jazlyn holding her burgeoning baby bump while rocking a large diamond ring. Earlier this month, the new mom posted a video on Youtube of her growing family, revealing the news that she and the “No Smoke” rapper were expecting a baby boy.

“Look at this little outfit, so cute,” she gushed in the video. “Can you believe I’m having a boy? I never thought I would have a boy.” Elsewhere in the video, Jazlyn and YoungBoy attempt to put a stroller together for their then unborn baby, as their one-year old daughter Alice watched on. The rapper announced the news of Jazlyn’s pregnancy on September 5 — while she was 37 weeks along — by having her and her growing bump appear in the music video for his latest single “Purge Me.”

NBA YoungBoy fans are excited for the young star to expand his brood. “Jazlyn keeps him calm,” one fan wrote. “Honestly he not as rowdy since they been together, hope it works out,” another added. The pair began dating in 2020 after YoungBoy split with Yaya Mayweather, whom he also shares a son with. In April 2022, Yaya plead guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after reportedly stabbing another one of YoungBoy’s children’s mothers.
