6ix9ine Breaks His Silence Following Arrest

6ix9ine’s legal misfortune continued earlier this month, when the rapper was arrested in the Dominican Republic. According to reports, he and some associates had pulled up to a recording studio to confront two producers who had “disrespected” his girlfriend, Yailin La Más Viral. Security footage captured from outside of the studio shows them running into the studio, and later making their way out.

He later tried to leave the country on a private jet, but authorities stopped him in his tracks. They arrested him for allegedly assaulting the two men. He was then transported to a prison in La Vega, where he was greeted by a rowdy crowd of fans, critics, reporters, and more. Diamond La Mafia, a local artist, claims to have witnessed the alleged assault.

6ix9ine Thanks His Supporters

“He grabbed both of my producers,” the artist said of the alleged incident. “I had just left the studio, Yailin had just left. I was [telling her] I was in Miami and, suddenly, he showed up at the studio in La Vega and disrupted my producers. Through no fault of their own, without knowing them.” He continued, “I was coming down and they were asking where Yailin is… I told them that she had left and they said to open the studio for them and I opened it for them. At once, they entered us. They hit me more than I even know about.” Now, 6ix9ine has shared a message with his followers on Instagram, updating them on how he’s doing since his arrest.

“First I want to thank God that I am fine,” the message, translated from Spanish begins. “Thanks to everyone who has me in prayer… I feel so happy seeing you in full support.” His update continues with a promise to provide the people of La Vega with a “gift” when he’s released. “Thank you for your support I will return I love you,” his message concludes. Did Halle Bailey Say She’s Married To DDG?

Since people began speculating about them in January 2022, Halle Bailey and DDG have been open about their relationship. In August 2022, Bailey told Essence she was “for sure” in love with DDG, noting she’d “been a fan of his for years.” That November, DDG gushed about The Little Mermaid star in a way that incidentally foreshadowed the rumors swirling around the couple almost exactly one year later.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m married,” DDG said on The Breakfast Club. “Nah, I ain’t really married, but you know what I mean.” The rapper added that he figured he’d “eventually” marry Bailey. Well, did it happen?

On Wednesday, October 18, Glamour UK named Bailey its “Women Of The Year Awards 2023 Gen-Z Game-Changer honoree.” According to Pop Base, the accompanying cover story initially misattributed a pull-quote to Bailey that actually belonged to fellow cover star Leigh-Anne Pinnock. The quote reads, “Being a mum, being newly married — there’s the positive side of it, but also the negative. I want to show that, although things might look perfect from the exterior, that’s not always the case.”

Bailey’s profile no longer includes the aforementioned quote on the Glamour UK website, but it remains within Leigh-Anne’s profile. It should also be noted that Glamour has not addressed the alleged mishap. And for now, there has not been explicit confirmation that Bailey and DDG are married or that they’re parents, though rumors have been swirling around whether Bailey is pregnant since at least August.

Blueface Recalls Jaidyn Alexis Catching Him Having Sex With Chrisean Rock

It’s no secret that Blueface and all of his relationships have gotten pretty messy in recent months. In September, him and Chrisean Rock welcomed their first child, Chrisean Jr., together. He wasn’t actually present for his arrival, though details as to why remain fuzzy. Instead, he was seen living it up in Miami with the mother of his first two children, Jaidyn Alexis.

Following their son’s birth, things have only gotten more complicated between the two Cr*zy In Love stars. Blueface took aim at Chrisean’s parenting skills in the weeks following the delivery, and they appeared to be over for good. They then appeared in his music video together, much to fans’ surprise. It appeared that they were at least on reasonable terms at that point, however, things took a turn when the “Thotiana” performer posted a photo of their infant son’s genitals online. For obvious reasons, this sparked a lot of concern from Chrisean as well as his followers.

Blueface Says Jaidyn Alexis Came At “A Bad Time”

For now, Blueface has turned his attention back to Jaidyn, and has been spending a lot of his time promoting her new career as a rapper. She just dropped her track “Barbie,” and so far, listeners seem to be impressed. Though things between them appear to be going well as of late, their relationship hasn’t always been easy. When Blueface started getting involved with Chrisean, for example, this led to a great deal of drama for the pair. They recently appeared on The Jason Lee Show, reflecting on an instance where Jaidyn caught a glimpse of him and Chrisean together, and saw entirely more than she bargained for.

She just came and it was a bad time,” Blueface explained. “I was getting my d**k sucked. We had the mirror set up. Something was tooted up. She might have seen some bootyhole on the way in.” He went on, detailing the fight that took place afterwards. “She walk in, d**k hard, Jason,” he recalled. “I’m like hold up, hold up. I can’t even protect myself. They violated me, Jason. Her mama was there…D**k hard as hell, Jason. Butt-naked, trying to break up a fight. They in here throwing cheeseburgers and s**t, telephones. I’m looking at her like, what’s going on?” Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Blueface, Jaidyn Alexis, and Chrisean Rock.

Angus Young Net Worth 2023: What Is The AC/DC Legend Worth?

Angus Young, the iconic lead guitarist of the legendary rock band AC/DC, has made an indelible mark on the world of music. As of 2023, this rock legend’s net worth stands at an impressive $160 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. But how did he amass such wealth, and what has been the journey of this rockstar from his early days to the present?

Born Angus McKinnon Young on March 31, 1955, in Glasgow, Scotland, Angus was the youngest of eight children. The Young family relocated to Sydney, Australia, in the 1960s, where Angus’s musical journey began. Initially learning to play the banjo, he soon transitioned to the guitar, with his first Gibson SG becoming a staple of his performances. This passion for music was a family affair, with several of the Young siblings showcasing their musical talents.

In the early 1970s, Angus and his brothers Malcolm and George played in the Marcus Hook Roll Band. However, it was in 1973 that Angus and Malcolm co-founded AC/DC, a band that would become one of the world’s best-selling artists with over 200 million records sold. Their hits like “Highway to Hell,” “You Shook Me All Night Long,” and “Back in Black” have become anthems for rock enthusiasts globally. Their album Back in Black, released in 1980, alone accounts for 50 million of those sales, making it the second highest-selling album ever.

Angus Young is known not just for his exceptional guitar skills but also his energetic stage performances. His signature schoolboy uniform and the iconic “duck walk” have made him a standout figure in rock. This unique stage presence and his unparalleled guitar skills earned him the 24th spot on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Guitarists” list. Moreover, in 2003, Angus and his AC/DC bandmates were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, cementing their legacy in the annals of rock history.

Away from the limelight, Angus Young has led a relatively private life. He married Ellen Van Lochem in 1979 after a whirlwind romance. A notable aspect of Angus’s personality is his teetotaler lifestyle. While his bandmates indulged in alcohol, Angus preferred chocolate milk or coffee. In a touching gesture, he donated $19,260 to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario in 2019. It honored his brother Malcolm, who tragically passed away from dementia in 2017.

While AC/DC faced challenges, including lineup changes and the passing of key members, Angus Young’s commitment to music remained unwavering. The band’s resilience is evident in their continued success, with albums like The Razors Edge in the 1990s and Black Ice in 2008 achieving multi-platinum status.

His parents divorced when he was just three, and he spent most of his early years with his mother in Grand Rapids. The band, known for its wild stunts and energetic performances, quickly gained local notoriety.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers released their debut album in 1984, which received mixed reviews. However, their subsequent albums, especially “Freaky Styley,” began to garner attention. Usher Presented With Key To The City Of Las Vegas

Usher is making the absolute most of his Las Vegas residency. Earlier this year it became the inciting point for one of the biggest dramas of the summer. The R&B star sang to Keke Palmer who had showed up in a bit of a revealing dress. Her boyfriend Darius Jackson took issue with what she wore and posted about it publicly. The massive discussion that followed enveloped dozens of other celebs who shared their opinions.

Now, Usher is once again under a spotlight in Las Vegas. This time though there’s much less drama. With his residency still ongoing until December, he was presented with the key to the city yesterday. “I just want to continue to be an amazing contribution to your amazing city. I do see opportunity here, and the belief that everything that’s in my mind and that I’ve dreamed of is coming to life as a result of the city. So thank you,” the singer said in a statement. He’s also contributed to the city by hosting multiple renditions of his Lovers & Friends music festival. Check out the city’s full announcement post below.

Usher Given Key To The City And Holiday In Las Vegas

On top of a key to the city, the singer also got a holiday names after him. October 17 was proclaimed Usher Raymond day in Las Vegas. The same day on the other side of the country another city also named October 17 after a musician. That came when Atlanta officially declared it Gucci Mane day. The two declarations don’t seem to necessarily have much to do with each other, but the pair have collaborated on music twice before.

Usher also has another pretty big performance coming up. The singer will be taking the stage as the star of next year’s Super Bowl halftime show following Rihanna’s performance last year. What do you think of Las Vegas awarding Usher the key to the city? Let us know in the comment section below.

Eazy-E “It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa” Turns 30: A Response To “The Chronic”

In 1993, Eazy-E dropped what is arguably one of Hip Hop’s most notable EPs. After all, it’s not very often artists release an entire project dissing another artist. The EP was a ballsy move from Eazy-E, who had major beef with Dr. Dre. Without a doubt, the project marks one of the most iconic diss moments in Hip Hop history. It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa turned 30 this year. Even after all that time, the project still commands much respect and reverence. It most likely always will, as it was truly a moment to remember in Hip Hop history.

Setting The Stage

Eazy-E and Dr. Dre were embroiled in a highly publicized and bitter feud at the time of the EP’s release. The beef between the two rappers escalated after Dr. Dre left N.W.A. and Ruthless Records over financial disagreements. Subsequently, Dr. Dre founded Death Row Records with Suge Knight, the D.O.C., and Duck Griffey. Consequently, the tension surrounding Dre’s departure led to a series of diss tracks from both parties. Notably, Eazy-E released It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa on October 19, 1993, as a response to Dr. Dre’s album iconic, The Chronic

Eazy-E and Dr. Dre Fire With Words

On Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, the MC takes straightforward shots at Eazy-E. On “F**k Wit Dre Day,” he even employed the assistance of his friend, Snoop Dogg. Evidently, Eazy-E didn’t take it lying down. It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa was the late MC’s way of defending his reputation and asserting his dominance in the West Coast rap scene. The EP contained explicit and confrontational lyrics aimed at Snoop Dogg, Death Row Records, and especially Dr. Dre.

In fact, only three songs of the 8-track EP are free of any lyrical jabs against Dr. Dre. These three songs are “Any Last Werdz,” which was released as a single, “Gimmie That Nutt,” and a G-Mix of the Ice Cube-penned “Boyz N tha Hood.” Eazy-E used this EP to express his anger at Dr. Dre, as well as his frustration and defiance. After he dropped “Real Muthaphuckkin G’s” as a single, not many people expected an entire project dedicated to Dre to follow. It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa is widely regarded as one of the most badass responses to a diss in rap’s history.

Contributors On It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa

Between the producers and featured artists on the EP, it took a small village to put it all together. The entire EP was produced by Rhythm D, DJ Yella, Cold 187um, Dr. Jam, Madness 4 Real, and Eazy-E. Furthermore, the guest appearances include B.G. Knocc Out and Dresta on “Real Muthaphuckkin G’s,” Cold 187um and Kokane on “Any Last Werdz,” and Dirty Red, who features on “Down 2 tha Last Roach” alongside B.G. Knocc Out.

In addition, the EP heavily employs the use of samples. In detail, only the first track, “Exxtra Special Thankz,” is rid of samples. Every other song on the project contains selections from one or more songs, mainly by Eazy-E or N.W.A. Notably, the track “It’s On” contains a sample from Dr. Dre’s diss track “F**k Wit Dre Day.” Consequently, one could say Dr. Dre contributed to the making and success of this diss project by Eazy-E.

Easy-E’s Diss Project, A Cultural Artifact

Over the last 30 years, the legacy of It’s On has steadily grown stronger. It was Eazy-E’s last project in his lifetime and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard charts. Although other works have been released posthumously, none of them compare to the impact this one has had. Despite receiving mixed reviews upon its release, the EP is now considered historically significant to Hip Hop. Fans are almost grateful for the beef between Dr. Dre and Eazy-E because of the classic projects their feud birthed. Sadly, Eazy-E passed away in 1995, but this EP is one of the ways through which his name will live on forever.

City Girls And Kim Petras Announce “Flashy” Upcoming Collab

City Girls recently took to social media to announce an exciting new collaboration they have on the way with Kim Petras. In a clip, the iconic duo is seen seated beside the pop singer, as they all mouth the words to Petras’ catchy part on the song. For obvious reasons, listeners can’t wait to hear the full cross-over, and are sounding off in the comments section.

The new track, titled “Flashy,” will be featured on the pair’s new album RAW, which drops on October 20. The LP will follow their 2020 album City on Lock. After more than three years, fans are looking forward to what they have to offer on this latest project.

City Girls Team Up With Kim Petras For RAW Track

Only Petras’ vocals can be heard in the newly-unveiled snippet, however, some fans suspect that Yung Miami might sing on the track as well. Either way, the dreamy track is sure to be a fan favorite. This isn’t the first time Kim Petras has crossed over into the world of hip hop, however. Back in April, she also joined forces with Nicki Minaj to drop “Alone.” The song samples Alice Deejay’s Euro-pop staple “Better Off Alone,” which Petras said made the collab nostalgic for her.

“I was born and raised in Germany, and that song is a classic in clubs all over Europe, so I grew up to it,” she told Apple Music. “I had a lot of amazing moments, some bad moments… So many club moments in general to that song. So, that song is just in me, and I feel like it inspired me to make music. I’m just so honored that Alice Deejay let us do this sh*t because it’s epic.” Are you looking forward to City Girls’ upcoming collaboration with Kim Petras? How do you think it’s sounding so far? 7 Actors Who (Unsuccessfully) Attempted Music Careers

The talent pool in Hollywood is truly diverse, and as a result, many actors have dabbled in music. Many celebrities stick their feet in multiple ventures to capitalize on their fame. However, success in one industry isn’t always a guarantee that you’ll be welcomed in another. As such, many actors in Hollywood have had failed music careers. Unfortunately, not everyone can replicate the successes of say, Miley Cyrus or Idris Elba. Additionally, it’s become increasingly evident that the transition from musician to actor is much more bankable than the opposite. In any case, here are seven stars who tried (and failed) to successfully segue into music.

Vin Diesel

The Fast & Furious frontman is one of the highest-grossing actors in Hollywood. However, before becoming one of the most profitable actors, he briefly dabbled in music. In a 2021 interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, he shared that he attempted to transition into rap from breakdancing in the mid-’80s. During his brief rap stint, he went by the name Mark Sinclair. Furthermore, Diesel (Sinclair at the time) collaborated with avant-garde composer Arthur Russel and attempted to create a rap song. An audio recording of their studio session surfaced on SoundCloud in 2011. After listening, it became evident to fans of the actor why he chose not to continue chasing a career in Hip Hop.

Tyra Banks

Tyra Banks needs no introduction. Whether from her immensely successful modeling career or her appearances in film and TV, she is a highly recognizable figure. However, not many people know that she briefly dipped a toe in musical waters back in the day. The supermodel released an R&B-dance single in 2004 titled “Shake Ya Body.” The song was very energetic, and its music video featured contestants from America’s Next Top Model. However, unfortunately for the TV personality, it didn’t stick with listeners and had a poor commercial performance.

Brie Larson

Before becoming one of the most noticeable actors in Hollywood, Brie Larson tried her hand at a music career. The A-list star and Academy Award winner was signed to Casablanca Records in 2003. In 2005, at 16, Larson released her debut and sole studio album, Finally Out of P.E. It was a 13-track pop-rock project, and unfortunately, it didn’t perform very well commercially. She never released any songs or albums after Finally Out of P.E. However, she worked as a DJ for a while before her acting career finally took off.

Tom Hardy

Earlier in his career, the Venom actor used to want to spit bars. Hardy aspired to be a rapper, and for a little while, he went by the moniker “Tommy No 1.” He spoke to BBC Newsbeat in 2011 about his unrealized career as a rapper. During the interview, Hardy shared that he started rapping at 14 or 15 and even had a record deal. “I used to be with the guy who managed Lela James and Lauryn Hill, Pras, The Fugees and all that,” he said.

However, the Mad Max actor never actualized his dream of becoming a rapper. Although he had recorded “loads of stuff,” he never put them out because, as he said, “I come from a nice, middle-class neighborhood in East Sheen, so it was a very hard sell. And, you know, I wasn’t very good.” An 18-track mixtape by Mr. Hardy was posted on Bandcamp in 2018 by producer Edward Tracy.

Mahershala Ali

Oscar-winning actor Mahershala Ali is certainly a man of many talents. Unknown to many, he was signed to a record label in the early 2000s before he achieved movie star status. Evidently, he must have shown some promise to bag a record deal in the harsh climes of the music industry. Going by the name Prince Ali, he released his debut album, Corner Ensemble, in 2006. In 2007, he followed it up with his sophomore album, Curb Side Service.

Unfortunately, neither of the two albums did well by industry standards. However, unlike many other actors, Ali’s time in the music scene wasn’t all bad, and his talents were evident. Overall, it can be argued that his music career never took off because he chose to focus on his acting career instead. Although he hasn’t released any solo songs or albums since then, Prince Ali has appeared on a few albums, including Keith Murray’s Lord of the Metaphor 2 (2019) and Ari’s Ahmed’s The Long Goodbye (2020).

Jada Pinkett Smith

Jada Pinkett Smith formed the nu metal band Wicked Wisdom in 2002 and has been their frontwoman ever since. Between 2002 and 2006, the band released two studio albums and went on several tours. However, they were never really welcomed with open arms by many metalheads. Unfortunately, this reality stunted their growth as a band, and by 2006, they went on an indefinite hiatus. Although Wicked Wisdom reunited in 2021, the band is still very much under the radar. Jada Pinkett Smith’s success as an actor is in no way comparable to that of her music career.

Naomi Campbell

In 1994, Naomi Campbell, already a supermodel, tried gliding into the music scene with Baby Woman. The 11-track R&B album received mixed reviews upon its release and performed quite terribly commercially. Unfortunately, the world did not amicably welcome Campbell’s attempt to diversify. Although it was popular in Japan, Baby Woman flopped just about everywhere else. Besides a 1996 feature on Toshinobu Kubota’s “La La La Love Song,” the supermodel hasn’t revisited the music scene since.

Born William Bruce Rose, Jr. on February 6, 1962, in Lafayette, Indiana, Axl’s journey to stardom was anything but smooth. Family upheavals and legal troubles marked his early life. However, music became his refuge. Axl’s passion for music was evident from singing in the church choir at the age of five to forming a band with friends in high school. His move to Los Angeles marked a turning point in his career. Here, he formed the band AXL, eventually adopting the name Axl Rose. By March 1986, he legally changed his name to W. Axl Rose. His involvement in various bands, including Rapidfire, Hollywood Rose, and L.A. Guns, paved the way for the formation of Guns N’ Roses in March 1985.

With the release of their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, in 1987, Guns N’ Roses skyrocketed to fame. The album, boasting hits like “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Welcome to the Jungle,” has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Axl’s unique voice and charismatic stage presence solidified his position as one of rock music’s most iconic figures.

Despite lineup changes and breaks, Axl remained the constant force behind Guns N’ Roses, ensuring the band’s continued influence in the rock music scene. Their subsequent albums, “Use Your Illusion I” and “Use Your Illusion II,” released in September 1991, further cemented their legacy, selling a combined 35 million copies worldwide.

Axl’s Continued Influence

Beyond Guns N’ Roses, Axl’s influence in the rock world is undeniable. In 2016, he served as the lead vocalist for AC/DC, showcasing his versatility as a musician. His contributions to rock music were recognized in 2012 when Guns N’ Roses was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Despite his immense success, Axl’s life has not been without controversy. Known for his confrontational behavior, he has had multiple run-ins with the law. However, his dedication to music and his ability to reinvent himself has ensured his continued relevance in the industry.

A significant portion of Axl’s net worth can be attributed to the success of Guns N’ Roses. Between June 2017 and June 2018, he earned $20 million, primarily from touring. The Not In This Lifetime Tour alone generated more than $430 million worldwide.

Conclusion

As the world continues to celebrate the music of Guns N’ Roses, Axl Rose’s legacy as a rock legend remains unchallenged.
