Drake gave a birthday shout-out to Sexyy Red on Instagram, this week, as she turned 26. In doing so, he crowned her the greatest of all time. “More life to my goat,” Drake captioned a photo of Sexyy. When The Neighborhood Talk shared the post, fans had mixed responses to their friendship.

“To have a Nicki & Drake co-sign is huge!!! Ik she’s loving this support,” one fan commented. Another accused Drake of using Sexyy for relevancy. “He uses her for clout, Drake mastered riding waves and peoples popularity his whole career but yea they get a even trade off,” they argued.

Fans aren’t the only ones who have complained about Drake and Sexyy’s friendship. Joe Budden recently accused Drake of taking advantage of her fame as well. “You think he just likes being around Sexyy Red that much? I could name some more people. And this is what I don’t understand about you f*cking Drake stans,” he said on his podcast. New music festival alert: The inaugural Sudden Little Thrills Music Festival is going down on September 7 and 8 at Hazelwood Green in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The lineup is bringing the heat, too: The Killers and SZA are headlining, and also performing across the fest’s two days and three stages are Melanie Martinez, Wiz Khalifa, St. Vincent, Fletcher, Omar Apollo, Yung Gravy, Girl Talk, Crowded House, Ethel Cain, Del Water Gap, Hoppi Campus, Juvenile, The Frive Era, Lupe Fiasco, Kenny Mason, Royel Otis, and more. The fest is also putting an emphasis on local performers, including Pittsburgh artists Feeble Little Horse, Corook, Fedd The God, and Krunk And The Center Of Life Band.

Regarding tickets, the pre-sale runs on April 18 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET. After the pre-sale, prices will increase for the public on-sale, which starts immediately after the pre-sale. Those interested can sign up now to receive a pre-sale passcode, via the festival website.

As for the name of the festival, a press release explains, “Inspired by Pittsburgh’s arts and culture legacy, the name Sudden Little Thrills embodies the ethos of the festival — to be present and open to sudden moments of fun, joy, and inspiration, and selecting Hazelwood Green as the festival’s home expands on that philosophy.”

Anthony Fantano Shares Joke Drake Diss Track Under His Alter Ego

Drake has been under fire from all sides recently. Last month, Kendrick Lamar surprised fans by taking aim at both him and J. Cole in his verse on “Like That.” But now the “Rich Baby Daddy” is catching strays from all kinds of artists. Rick Ross and Metro Boomin both took direct shots at him and fans think they uncovered sneakier disses from The Weeknd and Future. But one person Drake probably wasn’t expecting to hear from was the internet’s busiest music nerd, Anthony Fantano. More specifically, Fantano’s alter ego Cal Chuchesta, who he’s used to make comedy music before.

The track dropped earlier today on YouTube and doesn’t appear to even have a title. It was simply uploaded with the video name “Drake Has 24 Hours To Respond.” The video has already racked up tens of thousands of views and the comments are full of fans cracking jokes about Drake and his recent beefs. The song itself is extremely chaotic and spends much of its intro unveiling various pieces of instrumentation that don’t go together. The song itself is backed by bizarre samples and even includes a joke Pusha T feature. Check out the chaotic joke song below.

Anthony Fantano Drops His Own Comedy Diss Track

Fantano has a history with Drake. He’s shared some controversial reviews of albums like Scorpion and Certified Lover Boy where he was very critical of Drizzy stacking his tracklists. Last year he gave a 5/10 reviews to Drake’s newest album For All The Dogs and then the same score to the Scary Hours 3 EP that followed.

Despite having criticized the rapper’s music in the past, Fantano was impressed by Drake’s recent diss response. In the comments section, he wrote: “I’m on your body!” as well as, “Be at my next fight in Miami May 31st at the Hard Rock on me,” with a heart emoji. Broner will be taking on Blair Cobbs at that event.

When The Shade Room shared the comments on Instagram, fans had plenty of laughs at Broner’s expense. One user wrote: “I’m on your body? Like Lotion sir? Like sunscreen? Who says that?” “Her dad benzoyl peroxide ain’t gonna be too happy bout this,” one user joked, referencing Benzino. Others came to Broner’s defense, such as one fan who wrote: “I see some people calling him corny for what he said.. at least he shot his shot.”

Broner’s attempt to get involved in Leray’s life comes after she recently explained to Forbes that she’s working on becoming a “better” version of herself, and credited the “amazing people” she surrounds herself with in helping her do so. She told the outlet: “I’m blessed to also have such amazing people in my life to keep me levelheaded. So I’ll call them and be like ‘yo’ and if I’m in a place where I say something or do something, they’ll check me. They’ll check me in a way where they’ll be ‘you should have approached it in this way, you could have handled it like this’ and you know what, you’re right.”

1090 Jake Threatens To Leak Rick Ross’ Correctional Officer Confession, Defends Drake

Rick Ross and Drake haven’t been on the best of terms as of late, ever since Drizzy appeared to go after Rozay on his leaked diss track, “Push Ups (Drop and Give Me 50).” Ross didn’t waste any time at all with his response, “Champagne Moments.” In the song, he accuses Drake of getting a nose job, refers to him as “white boy,” and more. This has caused a bit of online back and forth between the two performers in recent days and prompted countless social media users to pick sides in the feud.

1090 Jake, for example, quickly took to social media to side with Drake. Moreover, he threatened to release a video which he claims contains a confession from Rick Ross. The video in question allegedly exposes his past as a correctional officer. “Since he keep callin @champagnepapi a Whiteboy He woke the Real Whiteboy up [laughing emoji] yall want this video?,” the internet personality wrote earlier today. “He said he only lasted 4 months but the paperwork says 95-97 with a Perfect Attendance lmk.”

Dame Dash Admits He’s “Disappointed” In J Cole For Apologizing To Kendrick Lamar

Dame Dash says he’s disappointed in J Cole for apologizing to Kendrick Lamar for his “7 Minute Drill” diss track. He discussed the short-lived feud during an appearance on America Nu Network, explaining that he means no disrespect with his take. However, he feels the feud was tame and couldn’t believe Cole didn’t feel up for it.

“As a fan, I’m disappointed,” he said. “[…] No disrespect to J. Cole but as a fan, it seemed like he threw up the white flag. I think he was smart on a business level to capitalize and put an album out with the retaliation [‘7 Minute Drill’] and that sh*t did well from [what] I saw. So for business, it was smart to put it out.”
