Papoose is fueling relationship drama on social media after posting a video of himself riding around in a Rolls-Royce listening to music with an unseen woman in the passenger seat. It comes amid rumors that he and his wife, Remy Ma, are going through a rough patch in their marriage.

Fans had mixed responses to the post. When Live Bitez shared the clip, some assumed it was just Remy Ma while others suggested a mystery woman. “No that’s not remy. That lady voice is to soft,” one user argued. Another added: “I understand the hurt, but please stop doing lame sh*t. Let the females spin the camera halfway to the passenger of a mystery person. Chlöe Used Her Final Coachella 2024 Performance To Announce ‘Trouble In Paradise,’ The Singer’s Sophomore Album

It seems like just yesterday that Uproxx cover star Chlöe launched her solo career. But, if you want to be technical, it has been nearly three years since the release of her debut single, “Have Mercy.” Now that the singer’s studio album, In Pieces, has officially celebrated its one-year anniversary, she’s ready to drop a follow-up.

Yesterday (April 19), Chlöe used her final performance at Coachella 2024 to announced her upcoming plans. During a quick brief on stage, she told the crowd that her sophomore album’s release date is sooner than they might expect. “‘Trouble In Paradise’ coming soon,” she yelled.

So far, Chlöe has only shared the forthcoming project’s title, both on stage and in a post on X (formerly Twitter). It is unclear exactly when the body of work will hit streaming platforms or if her latest singles “Boy Bye” and “FYS” are on the final tracklist either way fans are excited.

Ever so clever, the album was actually teased by way of Chlöe’s road to Coachella billboard in the desert days prior. “Warning. Trouble ahead,” read the poster.

For those who were hoping for new music from Chloe x Halle, don’t worry. According to the sister’s latest interview with Forbes, that’s on the agenda for 2025.

Kanye West continued going after J Cole on Twitter, on Saturday, after the premiere of his new remix to “Like That,” on which he disses the Dreamville rapper as well as Drake. Taking Kendrick Lamar’s side in his ongoing feud with Drake, West also joked that Cole’s music is a turn-off for women. “Y’all so out of sight, out of mind, I can’t even think of a Drake line,” West raps. “Play J. Cole, get the p*ssy dry.” On Twitter, he shared a meme echoing the sentiments.

In the replies, he added that there is “MORE COMING TONIGHT” on his website. West’s fans were loving the hostility. “J. Cole gotta drop the humility and swing back he getting embarrased rn,” one user wrote back to Ye. Another wrote: “Forget Drake vs. Kendrick, I’m tryna see Kanye vs. J. Cole rn.” It isn’t the first time West has commented on the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Following the release of Lamar’s verse on the original “Like That,” Ye ranted on Instagram: “EVERYONE KNOWS I WASHED KENDRICK ON NO MORE PARTIES IN LA. EVERYONE KNOWS I WASHED DRAKE AT THE FREE HOOVER CONCERT.”

Expect the unexpected from Lil Uzi Vert. The “Endless Fashion” rapper isn’t a fan of binaries in their gender identity or the designer labels they wear.

On April 12, during weekend one of Coachella, Uzi embraced their fluid freedom by voguing on stage (a unique style of dance birthed in the ballroom scene). Users online and Uproxx‘s hip-hop editor Aaron Williams alike applauded the spontaneous choreography. So, yesterday (April 19), Uzi pushed the boundaries even further.

After concluding their performance, Uzi left stage, purse first (hi, Bob The Drag Queen). But it was just any bag, after Uzi gestured to the item, the camera revealed it was indeed a six-figure Kelly Birkin handbag. Then allowed the fully customized ‘Chrome Hearts’ edition of the highly sought after Hermès item.

Similar to last weekend’s response to Uzi’s voguing, users online loved the moment. Many even begged that the now viral clip be turned into a GIF so that could use it on a daily basis. However, other like streamer Adin Ross, Akademiks, and more weren’t seemingly offended.

During Ross’ watch party broadcast, his face read as if he was disgusted by Uzi carrying a designer handbag.

During another stream, Akademiks spewed a few disgusting allegations.

But what does Uzi have to say about the pushback? Well, onstage Uzi knew that some would be off put by their leather crop top portion of their costume, to which they immediately brushed it off. “I look good,” they declared.

Trippie Redd confirmed the passing of his longtime collaborator, Chris King, in an emotional post on Instagram, on Saturday. In doing so, he shared several photos of him from over the years. Details regarding his cause of death remain unconfirmed.

“I am so hurt rn I can’t even think I love you bro come back!!!!! @whoischrisking,” Trippie wrote. “I can’t catch a break.” He added several crying and heartbroken emojis. Fans joined in mourning King in the comments section. “Bro his verse on can you rap like me pt2 will forever be legendary. RIP to Chris man,” one user wrote. Another added: “He was with you from the start, sorry to hear this trip. Rest in peace Chris.”

Trippie wasn’t the only artist to speak on King’s passing, Saturday. Taking to Twitter, DJ Scheme also confirmed the rapper’s death. “It’s so sad this community of artist/friends has gotten this small,” he wrote “All because of gun violence or drugs. I know we were just a wave in hip-hop but man this really the life we live. I hate to see someone I’ve known since the beginning days be gone… Everyone make sure u send ur love to Trippie and everyone at 1400 today please.” From there, he told fans to show love to their friends and family while they’re still around.

Toriana Addresses Rocky Relationship With Her Father

While some note that the 16-year-old has a right to feel how she does about her father, others wish they would work things out, once and for all. Her livestream follows a social media spat they had publicly in July of last year. It was prompted when Boosie confiscated the car he had gifted her for her birthday. According to Toriana, he only took the vehicle back because he was upset she left Atlanta to care for her mother. He denies this, instead claiming that Toriana left “out of nowhere” after learning that her mother had filed for child support.

Things got pretty heated at the time, and eventually, the Louisiana-born performer released a song about the debacle called “Ungrateful.” On it, he throws various jabs at both his daughter and her mother. Toriana’s mother later filed harassment charges against Boosie, making it so he was no longer allowed to contact her or their daughter. Drake & Rick Ross’ Beef Feeds Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update: Stream

Things couldn’t be any hotter in hip-hop right now, so it’s a good thing that our Fire Emoji playlist update is here to round up the best of the best that rap music had to offer this week. Moreover, two huge releases on streaming over the past week form part of the talk of the town: the civil war between Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Future, and so many more (even Ye is allegedly in the mix now with a possibly leaked “Like That” remix). Specifically, though, we wanted to shout out Drizzy’s “Push Ups” finally arriving on streaming services, as well as Rozay’s “Champagne Moments” with its quick response to that track “leaking” online.

But let’s forget about the beef for a second and… oh, wait, Breezy is in a feud with Quavo right now, too?! Well, regardless, his appearance alongside Travis Scott and Sexyy Red on Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU (Sleeze Mix)” doesn’t rope that into the track. Instead, all MCs provide pretty unique and great performances in their own right over this simple but effective beat courtesy of ATL Jacob and Southside. It’s probably the most straightforward banger on Fire Emoji this week, especially thanks to its star-studded nature.

HNHH Fire Emoji Playlist: Stream

Next on this playlist update is what might be the best pound-for-pound hip-hop drop this week. Heads I Win, Tails You Lose is a grimy, concise, and unsurprisingly impressive comeback album from Gangrene (comprised of producer/rapper The Alchemist and rapper/producer Oh No). With highlights like “Cloud Surfing” and killer features from Boldy James and more, the duo provides relentless rhyme schemes, vivid imagery, and a whole lot of confident bravado with one of the more old-school-sounding pallets that Uncle Al’s worked with for a minute. He’s capable of pretty much everything, so if you’re looking for some hearty helpings of beats and rhymes on Fire Emoji, we’d highly recommend this.

Finally, we wanted to shout out two other big singles with a lot of anticipation as to what will come from them. Headie One is coming out with a new project soon, and dropped the wavy but immediate single “Cry No More” with Stormzy and Tay Keith. Also, Cash Cobain is really hitting it big with his February single “Fisherr” with Bay Swag, and this virality has apparently led to an Ice Spice remix dropping very soon. During the interview, for example, Trump Jr. alleged that a former partner told him Kim Porter was afraid of Diddy throughout their relationship. He claims that the ex-partner was a model in New York, and allegedly a close friend of Porter’s. Amid chatter surrounding the unexpected interview, longtime Diddy critic Aubrey O’Day took to social media to weigh in.

She seems frustrated that her ex spoke on the Bad Boy Records founder when she’s been sounding the alarm for years. Allegedly, she has far more information on the matter than he does. According to her, “the EXpose hasn’t even STARTED.”
