Yesterday, the pop icon decided to give her fans a glimpse at her recent trip to the beach, stripping down in the water and leaving little to the imagination. “Hello to my a**!!” she fittingly captioned the suggestive clip. Previously, she had given her followers even more insight into the thought behind the clip, writing “Raised my a** a little higher so I have more booty!!! Thinking of getting injections on my a** to make it fuller like that.”

It’s unclear whether or not she’s made a decision on that yet, though fans agree that he looks great just the way she is. Most are glad to see her having fun with her newfound freedom, but unfortunately, not everyone is on board. Some find her latest posts concerning, and indicative that she may not be in the best mental condition.

“I have to be the bigger person and forgive my own parents,” Spears continued. “But that’s extremely hard!!! Isaiah Rashad Concludes Recent Show By Playing “Not Like Us”

The Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef that erupted last month left many in the rap world picking sides. Unsurprisingly, many from the Top Dawg Entertainment, Kendrick’s former label, have taken his side unequivocally. That’s included ScHoolboy Q who has been on a media blitz in recent months following the release of his first new album in 5 years. It also includes Isaiah Rashad who just worked one of Kendrick’s most notable diss tracks into a recent live show.

“Not Like Us” debuted at number one on the Hot 100 with just 5 days of tracking in its first week. It currently sits at number 2 on the chart after slipping under the debut of Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s new collaboration “I Had Some Help.” Clearly fans are pretty familiar with the song and most are pretty big fans of it. That’s why the entire crowd was bumping alongside Rashad and his posse on-stage during a recent show in Houston. In fact, he closed his entire set out by bumping the song for the hyped crowd. Megan Thee Stallion’s been having a great time while on tour, but sometimes, overly excited fans can get in the way of that for a brief moment. Moreover, new footage recently surfaced online of a fan throwing a phone at her on stage, which security was very quick to respond to. Amid screams from fans, employee scrambles, and a pause to the show, the Houston MC tried to explain to the guards that the fan probably didn’t mean to hurt her, but they seemingly took action regardless. While this seemed like a momentarily cumbersome incident that she quickly moved on from, one can never be too safe with fans throwing things at artists these days.

When Is Vince Staples’ New Album ‘Dark Times’ On Spotify & Apple Music?

Vince Staples’ new album Dark Times is on the way, just a week after the Long Beach rapper announced it. So, when will it be available to stream on DSPs like Apple Music and Spotify?

With a release date of May 24, the album should go live on streaming services at midnight, Eastern, 9 PM, Pacific.

In Vince’s album announcement, he explained its inspirations. “Eleven years ago, a young, uncertain version of myself was given an opportunity with Def Jam Recordings,” he wrote. “I released my first project under their banner, Shyne Coldchain Vol 2, a year later. I was unsure of what to expect from the world of music, but deeply aware of what I needed: a change in my surroundings and a clear understanding of self. Ten years and seven projects later, I’ve found that clarity. Now, I share with you my final Def Jam release, Dark Times.”

Dark Times is part of a busy year for Vince. In February, he launched his Netflix series, The Vince Staples Show, to extremely positive feedback from both fans and critics.

He’s also billed on multiple festival lineups this summer, including Jack Harlow’s inaugural Gazebo Festival and Helsinki, Finland’s Flow Festival.

Ticketmaster & Live Nation Sued By Justice Department For Exploitative Monopoly

News broke earlier this year of a massive antitrust lawsuit from the Justice Department against Ticketmaster and, by extension, its parent company Live Nation. On Thursday (May 23), the governmental organization officially filed its suit against the entertainment conglomerates, accusing them of an illegal monopoly over live events in the U.S. that aggressively stifles competition and inflates fees and ticket prices. Moreover, authorities comprising 30 state and district attorneys general filed the lawsuit in Manhattan federal court. It aims to dismantle the alleged monopoly for the benefit of artists and promoters suffering at its hands.

“We allege that Live Nation relies on unlawful, anticompetitive conduct to exercise its monopolistic control over the live events industry in the United States at the cost of fans, artists, smaller promoters, and venue operators,” a statement from Attorney General Merrick Garland read. “The result is that fans pay more in fees, artists have fewer opportunities to play concerts, smaller promoters get squeezed out, and venues have fewer real choices for ticketing services. It is time to break up Live Nation-Ticketmaster.” This is not the only legal move that Live Nation is reckoning with right now, considering other debacles like the Astroworld tragedy.

The Justice Department Sues Live Nation & Ticketmaster

Nevertheless, the Justice Department pointed to long-term venue contracts, blocking venues from using other sellers, and threatening venues to use their service as ways in which Ticketmaster unrightfully exerted or held their power over live U.S. events. Live Nation has continually denied any violations of antitrust laws. They cited “the large gap that exists between the quality of the Ticketmaster system and the next best primary ticketing system” as the explanation for its dominance in the market back when federal investigations bubbled up in 2022. However, the service’s competition claimed that they make market disruption impossible through, for example, threatening to withhold performers if venues don’t partner with Ticketmaster.

“Today’s action is a step forward in making this era of live music more accessible for the fans, the artists, and the industry that supports them,” Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco. This joins other antitrust initiatives amid the Biden administration, including lawsuits and legal action against Apple, Google, Amazon, and more. Ticketmaster accounts for 70% of major venue ticket sales in the U.S., according to a 2022 federal lawsuit data. In 2019, the Justice Department found Live Nation liable for violating an agreement to not retaliate against venues using other ticketing services, which was established when it merged with Ticketmaster in 2010.
