Pooh Shiesty Was Denied Bond After He Accepted A Plea Deal In His Federal Robbery Case

Since last summer, Pooh Shiesty has been locked up for two separate incidents. One of them is a federal robbery case that stems from October, when the “Back In Blood” rapper and another individual allegedly shot two people during a meet-up for sneakers and marijuana. Earlier this month, he accepted a plea deal in the case which helps him avoid a potential life sentence. In the deal, prosecution and defense agreed to a sentence of 97 months for the charge. However, Magistrate Judge Lauren Fleischer Louis, who presides over the case, noted that his sentence could surpass the suggested sentence. After Pooh Shiesty accepted the plea deal, his team filed to receive bond, but that didn’t work out.

Judge Louis turned down the request in a court order dated January 13 after holding an evidentiary hearing earlier this week. The rappers’ attorneys pitched a strict bond plan that included “unspecified monitoring, limited visitation, and drug and alcohol treatment,” but she was not sold on it. Judge Louis agreed that the plea deal will result in him facing less severe charges, however, she noted that Pooh Shiesty was not entitled to bond and mentioned his superstar status in the public eye.

The rapper is also facing gun charges for a 2020 Memorial Day incident that took place at the King of Diamonds strip club in Miami.

Kanye West Defends Punching A Man Who Asked Him For An Autograph: ‘You Don’t Know What I’m Dealing With’

Earlier this week, LA’s Fox affiliate revealed that Kanye West was being investigated for allegedly punching a fan in the face outside a Los Angeles nightclub. According to the report, the rapper was approached by the individual for an autograph while he sat in his SUV outside Soho Warehouse at 3am on Thursday. The rapper then punched the fan in their face, which caused them to fall to the ground. The report also suggested an argument occurred, but at the time police did not reveal any details and Kanye had not spoken to them either. During a recent interview with Jason Lee on Hollywood Unlocked, Kanye spoke about the incident.

“It’s 3 a.m. in front of the warehouse,” Kanye began. “I’m saying, ‘You don’t know what I’m dealing with right now.’ This dude, he just had this attitude like, ‘What you gon’ do?’” He added, “Imma just tell you, that blue COVID mask ain’t stop that knockout.”

His comments come after he and The Game shared their new collaboration, “Eazy.” On it, Kanye took time to throw some shots at Pete Davidson, rapping, “God saved me from that crash/Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.” He also addressed his divorce from Kim Kardashian and showed some love to his new partner Julia Fox.

Additionally, during the Hollywood Unlocked interview, Kanye claimed that security at Kim Kardashian’s home blocked him from entering the house to see his children because Pete Davidson was home.

Travis Scott Returned To Instagram To Tease His Next Project, ‘Utopia,’ With Some Headphones

The end of 2021 turned nightmarish for Travis Scott after his signature Astroworld festival led to the deaths of nine people, including a nine-year-old boy who was trampled to death. A crowd surge when Drake showed up to the festival resulted in the stampede, and security was unable to handle the surges. Since the tragedy, Travis has made it clear he didn’t know what was happening at the time, and tried to make things right by helping families with the funeral costs — but many have refused.

The rapper has been mostly laying low on social media since the event, but is apparently going forward with working on his Utopia album while the ongoing lawsuits for Astroworld are mounting. Last week, one of his producers let fans know that Travis was still working on the project, and he all but confirmed that last night in a series of posts on his Instagram story.

Along with a contemplative beach shot (he was reportedly in Cabo working on the record, according to his producer Wheezy), Scott also shared photos of what looks like customized Utopia headphones, a pretty clear sign that the album is definitely in the works, and possibly close to done. It will be interesting to see how new music goes down with fans following the festival’s tragic situation. Check out the photos below.

Kanye West Says He Was Blocked From Seeing His Kids At Kim Kardashian’s Home Because Pete Davidson Was Home

After Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce last February, their split was described “as amicable as a divorce can be.” Apart from Kanye’s attempts to get back in Kim’s graces, which Kim said were not good enough to change her mind, the former couple hasn’t had any major issues. They’ve both moved on to other people, Kim dating Pete Davidson, while Kanye has been out and about with actress Julia Fox. However, according to Kanye himself, there have been issues between him and Kim’s new partner.

Jason Lee provided Entertainment Tonight with excerpts from Kanye’s full interview with Hollywood Unlocked. In it, Kanye claimed there was a moment where he was blocked from seeing his four children at Kim’s home. He claims security blocked him from entering because Pete Davidson was there at the time.

But he tried to be diplomatic. “But, I didn’t want to argue about it,” he said. “So I just chilled, took my kids to school, and then took my kids back. I am driving. I bring them back and North was like, ‘I want you to come upstairs and see something.’ And it’s like, ‘Oh, Daddy can’t come see something. Daddy can’t come inside.’ But that hadn’t been defined.”

Kanye added that he and Kim did not discuss any restrictions, yet he was still blocked by security. “My daughter wanted me to go inside,” he said. “I was like, I am the richest Black man and North’s father, right, and the security was able to stop me from going into the room with my daughter and that had not been defined.” He then suggests that Pete Davidson being home at the time was the reason he was blocked from entering the home.

“And, I am hearing that the new boyfriend is actually in the house that I can’t even go to,” Kanye added. “And, that’s where I call my cousins. And, my cousin is real opinionated, you know that. And I said, ‘I need you to go and say these two things.’ Security ain’t going to be in between me and my children, and my children ain’t going to be on TikTok without my permission.”

The interview arrives after he and The Game released “Eazy,” a track Kanye used to send shots at Pete Davidson and address his divorce with Kim Kardashian.

Lil Wayne’s Beloved ‘Sorry 4 The Wait’ Mixtape Lands On Streaming Services With Four New Songs

Last year, Lil Wayne placed his 2009 mixtape No Ceilings on streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify. While the move certainly excited many of his fans, they were quickly disappointed as it was missing several tracks. The reason could be that the rapper and his teams were unable to clear samples for certain songs. More recently, Wayne announced that his 2011 mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait would be placed on streaming services, which people hoped would appear in its original form. That was almost what happened.

Sorry 4 The Wait is now available to enjoy on streaming platforms, but there are some minor changes. For example, many of the song titles have been altered. Some of the changes include “Rollin’” now being titled “Tunechi’s Rollin,’” “Throwed Off” being “Throwed,” “Marvin’s Room” being “Tuenchi’s Room,” and “Gucci Gucci” being “One Big Room.” Despite these alterations, nothing about the song’s musical aspect has changed. Additionally, Wayne added four new songs to the mixtape, two of them featuring Lil Tecca and Young Money artist Allan Cubas, respectively.

Wayne also appears on “Sinister” from Cordae’s new album From A Birds Eye View, which comes after a week after he appeared beside The Weeknd on “I Heard You Were Married” from Dawn FM.

Sorry 4 The Wait is out now via Young Money Records. Get it here.

Kanye West Explains Why He Bought A House Close To Kim Kardashian: ‘My Solace Comes From Seeing My Kids’

After attempting towards the end of 2021 to reconcile his marriage with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West seems to have finally moved on. The rapper’s been spotted on multiple dates with actress Julia Fox. That being said, Kanye and Kim still have four children together, and developing a successful co-parenting system will be their next task to complete. Kanye’s first step in doing that was purchasing a home near his ex-wife, a move many assumed was a way for him to hound Kim about their divorce.

However, during an interview with Jason Lee on Hollywood Unlocked, Kanye explained why he bought the house. “My solace comes from seeing my kids and getting a solid schedule,” he said. “That’s why I even got the house. The media flipped into there was something wrong with me getting a house next to my kids.”

It also seemed to be related to an experience he had with his own father as a child. “You see when my mom took me from Atlanta to Chicago, my dad didn’t come to the coldest and most dangerous city in the world to be next to [me],” he recalled. “He said, ‘I’m going to stay down in Atlanta.’”

Kanye made sure to reiterate his feelings about his kids, saying that “nothing with my career, with this rap, with this media, with none of that, that’s gonna keep me from my children. And that’s what I want everybody to know.” He added, “Don’t play with me, don’t play with my children. Ain’t no security gonna get in between me and my children and you ain’t gonna gaslight me.”

Kanye West Threatens Pete Davidson And Addresses His Divorce With Kim Kardashian On ‘Eazy’ With The Game

Lately, Kanye West has been in the news for a lot of things that aren’t related to music. He had quite an interesting date with Julia Fox and the two seemed to be going steady. His brand Yeezy Gap teamed up with Balenciaga for a new collection that will arrive at some point in the future. His Netflix documentary Jeen-Yuhs is set to drop on February 16. Long story short, Kanye is quite busy, and now comes his new single, “Eazy” featuring The Game.

It marks the pair’s first song together since 2016’s “Mula,” which appeared on The Game’s album Documentary 2. “Eazy,” which is driven by a sample of Eazy-E’s “Eazy Duz It,” is also produced by Hit-Boy and it marks his and Kanye’s first song together in years after they fell out nearly a decade ago.

But the most attention-grabbing aspect of the song comes when Kanye sends a shot at Pete Davidson. “God saved me from that crash,” he raps. “Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.” Kanye also addresses his and Kim Kardashian’s divorce. “N****, we havin’ the best divorce ever,” he says. “If we go to court, we’ll go to court together / Matter of fact, pick up your sis’, we’ll go to Kourt’s together.”

Kanye also criticizes the Kardashians’ parenting style. “I got love for the nannies / But real family is better,” he raps. “The cameras watch the kids / Y’all stop takin’ the credit.” He also takes a moment to praise Julia Fox saying, “And my new b*tch bad / I know Illuminati mad.”

The new song comes after Kanye confirmed Donda 2 was in the works. It’s unknown when the project will arrive and if “Eazy” will appear on it.

Rap Caviar Launched Some ‘Rap Mount Rushmore’ Murals That Surely Won’t Be Controversial

Let’s begin by thanking Spotify for the great utility of their plentiful playlists. For instance, in the Running section of the app, the pop playlists are broken down into ’00s pop, ’10s pop, and even ’90s pop — this one goes hard for those middle miles.

Anyway, it seems like their hip-hop curation team, Rap Caviar, has decided to break down their own genre in a similar way, by organizing it into decades. That seems fine, except, they also decided to tap into the ongoing greatest-of-all-time conversation by actually painting a “Rap Mount Rushmore” mural in various cities. They also chose to break their Rushmore down into just the 2010s, selecting Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and J. Cole. Which is exactly where things might get a little messier.

First of all, I have great respect for Nicki Minaj and believe she’s an incredibly important MC, but her greatest sphere of influence was definitely waning around 2015. By the time Queen hit, she wasn’t very influential at all. So putting her on the mountain when other massive names like Future, Young Thug, Tyler The Creator, Travis Scott and even Kanye himself are all let off is pretty alarming for even a casual rap listener. She might be there due to the fact that she called out a similar Rushmore on Twitter for not including her, but hey, desire isn’t achievement.

The fact that there’s no southern rap (no, J. Cole doesn’t count) is another issue some might find contentious! Anyway, at least they got Kendrick right.

Mariah The Scientist And Young Thug Get Married In The Lusty ‘Walked In’ Video

A chance encounter in the strip club leads to matrimony in the self-directed video for Mariah The Scientist’s new single “Walked In” featuring Young Thug. As the song describes the lusty attraction between two strangers at a social gathering, the video plays out the duo’s unexpected trajectory, as they go from tossing dollars on the stage from opposite sides of the room to staging an intimate wedding (complete with Gunna, Young Thug’s newly inseparable sidekick, as a groomsman). Thug’s verse echoes Mariah’s as he brags, “I spent $400 on the tux just to go f*ck her in it.”

Mariah’s apparently got an affinity for Atlanta trap rappers, previously inviting Lil Baby to contribute a verse to her 2020 single “Always N Forever.” Since then, she released her 2021 sophomore album, Ry Ry World garnering praise for its blunt reflections on life and love, and raising her profile among fans of the sort of raw, reactive R&B being made by singers like Summer Walker and SZA, which often has sort of a trapped-out Mariah Carey vibe.

Meanwhile, Young Thug has already made a strong impression in 2022 thanks to Gunna’s DS4EVER single “Pushin P,” on which he appears alongside Future. I told you they were inseparable.
