Kanye West Shows Off New Vultures Logo Which Is Either A Nod To Albania Or Something More Sinister

Kanye West is someone who has been embroiled in a ton of controversy over the last few years. Overall, last year was particularly bad for him, albeit self-inflicted. He went on numerous right-wing talk shows and spouted Nazi talking points. Although people like Alex Jones even called him out for Hitler worship, Ye continued to act deranged. Eventually, he went away for a while, and now, he is spending his time overseas, working on a new album with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign.

In fact, Ye dropped a song with Ty Dolla $ign, simply called “Vultures.” The song hasn’t had much staying power, however, some fans quite enjoyed it. Now, it appears as though the song has its very own merch. In the Instagram post below, a fan could be seen engaging with Ye out in public. The artist could be seen wearing a logo that said “Vultures” and it included the depiction of a double-headed eagle. As HipHopDX pointed out, this could have been a nod to Drake who wore something kind of like this in the “Polar Opposites” video.

Of course, this is also the logo on the flag of Albania. That said, there is also a pretty sinister interpretation here. The two-headed eagle was used by Nazi Germany as its coat of arms back in the day. Given Kanye’s love of Nazi imagery and ideology, it is easy to see why someone would jump to this conclusion first. Ye has not been deserving of the benefit of the doubt, but at the end of the day, we could be wrong. Perhaps it is just an image that he likes and that he feels fits the style of the song. Who knows at this point?

Let us know what you think of this new logo, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you informed on all of your favorite aritsts.

Nicki Minaj was initially going to release Pink Friday 2 on November 17, but she delayed it and will instead drop it this Friday, December 8 — her 41st birthday. Last weekend, Minaj informed the Barbz that she would no longer perform at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Chicago on Monday, December 4, because she needed to focus on finishing album preparation. On Wednesday, December 6, she was preparing the Barbz for Pink Friday 2‘s launch.

“Approaching #GagCity,” Minaj wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter) alongside a 26-second trailer. The video shows a pink-lit “Barb Alert System” blinking with the message: “PREPARE FOR IMPACT Pink Friday 2 IS COMING.” It’s soundtracked by the unreleased Pink Friday 2 songBig Difference,” as Minaj raps, “Like my hunnids blue / Bad b*tches, yeah, I keep ’em by the two / It’s a big difference between me and you / I ain’t nothin’ like you, you, you, or you.”

That post came roughly 10 hours after Minaj took to X to relay similarly themed instructions, writing, “As we begin to prepare for landing, please make sure your tray tables are put back up & your seat belts are tightly fastened. The captain has activated the ‘no bathroom’ sign. If you look out the window, you’ll begin to see the beauty…clear waters, pink dolphins…#GagCity #PF2.”

How Did Tyla & Travis Scott’s ‘Water’ Remix Come Together?

Tyla is on fire with her breakthrough single “Water,” which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week. In mid-November, the South African artist added to the song’s sprawling influence with a remix featuring Travis Scott last month. And on Wednesday, December 6, Complex shared an interview with Tyla in which she explained how the eye-popping collaboration came together.

“I didn’t really think of doing a remix,” she said. “I was like, ‘Nah, like, let’s just have ‘Water.’ It’s cool. Whatever.’ But then, people were reaching out, and I was like, ‘Oh my word, oh my word.’ And I started getting excited, and then Travis reached out, and I literally couldn’t — like, I could not say no. His music is crazy. I’ve always loved his sound and just his vibe in general. So after he reached out, we sent him that open verse, and he came back and he killed it, you know. He killed it.”

Tyla and Scott’s “Water” remix will be on Tyla’s self-titled debut album, due out March 1, 2024. She will also embark on a self-titled headlining tour, beginning in Oslo, Norway on March 21, 2024 and snaking through Europe before staging a North American leg from April 22 to May 28.

“Everything that’s happening has surpassed anything I could have dreamt of,” Tyla captioned her Instagram post announcing the album last week. “African music is going global and I’m so blessed to be one of the artists pushing the culture. I’ve been working on my sound for 2 years now and I’m so ready for the world to hear it. I cannot wait for the world to experience an African Popstar.”

Tyla is out 3/1/2024 via Fax/Epic Records. Find more information here.

Last month, Doja Cat sat down for a spoof interview with her alter ego, and the results were chaotic — fitting because that’s the word she used when Ice Spice, for Instagram’s Close Friends Only, asked her to describe her 2023 in one word. Ice Spice posted that clip on Wednesday, December 6, but Billboard dropped a separate clip from their conversation that put Ice Spice on the spot.

In the clip, Doja asks Ice Spice to identify her first-ever celebrity crush. “Ugh, it’s so embarrassing,” she responded. After some coaxing from Doja, Ice Spice finally said, “I’m just gonna say it. It was Usher. I saw him at the Met Gala for the first time I ever seen him. I’m like, ‘Oh, my God. It’s him.”

“He’s beautiful,” Doja said, and Ice Spice agreed, “Gorgeous man.”

Doja Cat was recently serenaded by Usher at his Usher: My Way The Las Vegas Residency. He performed his 100th and final show last Saturday, December 2, so Ice Spice missed her opportunity to join the likes of Doja, Keke Palmer, and Saweetie as recipients of Usher’s viral serenading. Luckily, Usher will perform the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024.

According to Billboard, “The full podcast episode of Close Friends Only, produced in collaboration with The Unwell Network, will go live across streaming platforms including Spotify, iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts and YouTube on Thursday [December 7].”

Offset Rebels Against Boring Office Jobs And Obnoxious Bosses In His Luxurious ‘Blame It On Set’ Video

Offset answers to no one. His sophomore solo album, Set It Off, made it on Uproxx‘s “Best Albums Of 2023” list because of his fierce commitment to authenticity and his fearless embrace of hard-earned luxury. His freshly dropped video for “Blame It On Set” encapsulates those qualities.

The Maya Table-directed video begins with Offset in the dull, soul-sucking environment more commonly associated with 9-to-5 office jobs than multi-platinum-certified rappers. But there Offset is, sitting alone at a desk, constantly checking the clock (relatable), stapling papers, and piling them up.

It appears that he’s done for the day, but a very obnoxious and unkempt boss comes in with a new stack for Offset to staple. He’s yelling while chewing a jelly donut, leading to jelly grossly falling onto Offset’s desk. That’s the final straw. Offset clenches his fist but chooses to fight back by rounding up his coworkers, rocking high-fashion fits, and spitting confident bars.

The “Blame It On Set” video follows similarly elaborate visuals for fellow Set It Off tracks “Jealousy” with Cardi B (and Jamie Lee Curtis), “Fan,” and “Say My Grace” featuring Travis Scott. Offset and Don Toliver also performed “Worth It” for the first time on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Cardi B and Don Toliver are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

What Are The Lawsuits & Allegations Diddy Is Facing?

Diddy 2023

Content warning: This article contains explicit descriptions of sexual assault and rape.

For the better part of three weeks, troubling allegations have swirled around Diddy. Earlier today, December 6, Page Six reported that Diddy is named in a new lawsuit alleging he gang-raped and sex-trafficked a then-17-year-old girl.

Diddy responded with a statement provided to Page Six, reading, “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

Below is what you need to know about the allegations and lawsuits aimed at Diddy.

Cassie Files A Lengthy Lawsuit

November 16: The New York Times (among other reputed outlets) reported that Cassie Ventura had filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Federal District Court.

The suit is extremely nuanced and graphically detailed, but the varied allegations said to have happened between 2005 (when Cassie was 19 and signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy label) and 2018, span, per The New York Times, “a pattern of control and abuse that included plying her with drugs, beating her, and forcing her to have sex with a succession of male prostitutes while he filmed the encounters.” There was also one rape allegation from 2018, before their romantic relationship ended.

Diddy Settles With Cassie

November 17: Despite vehemently denying all the allegations in Cassie’s lawsuit, Diddy reached a settlement with her the day after its filing. The terms of the settlement were not publicly disclosed, but Cassie and Diddy each released statements sharing that they “decided to resolve this matter amicably.”

On November 18, Benjamin Brafman, Diddy’s attorney, released a statement to clarify, according to The Hollywood Reporter, that the settlement was in “no way an admission of wrongdoing,” and “Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”

Two More Women Allege Sexual Assault And Rape

November 23: On Thanksgiving, New York’s Adult Survivors Act expired. The act, as explained by Billboard, “created a one-year window for alleged survivors to take legal action over years-old accusations that would typically be barred under the statute of limitations.” Two more women filed lawsuits against Diddy before its expiration, and Diddy denied them via a statement from an unnamed spokesperson calling them “fabricated claims […] filed at the last minute. This is nothing but a money grab.”

The Hollywood Reporter reported another lawsuit filed against Diddy for allegedly “drugging sexually assaulting [Joi Dickerson-Neal] when she was a college student at Syracuse University in 1991.”

Later that day, as first reported by Rolling Stone, a woman identified publicly as Jane Doe “alleges [Diddy] and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall took turns raping” her and her friend in 1990 or 1991. The lawsuit alleges violence as well.

Diddy Steps Down From Revolt

November 28: Revolt announced that Diddy, who co-founded the media company, had “stepped down from his position as Chairman of Revolt.”

50 Cent Chimes In

December 1: Page Six reported that 50 Cent, noted Diddy disliker, is “in early development on a TV doc about rival Diddy and allegations of abuse by his longtime partner Cassie and others.” It would be done by his G-Unit Films and Television.

50 Cent acknowledged the report on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing, “RAPPER [eyeballs emoji] I thought Diddy was a Billionaire music mogul, If he’s smart he will file bankruptcy now. Anyone with real money knows why I’m saying this. Im the best producer for the job guys. here come the receipts.”

Diddy’s Former Employees Speak Out

December 5: On Tuesday, Rolling Stone‘s Andre Gee wrote a piece examining the men who have publicly corroborated Cassie’s lawsuit or made new troubling allegations of drugging or violence from their time either being around or working for Diddy. They include Bad Boy rapper Mark Curry and former bodyguards Gene Deal and Roger Bonds.

Yet Another Rape Allegation and Diddy Denial

December 6: And we’re back to where we started. Earlier today, publications such as The New York Times and Rolling Stone reported the latest lawsuit filed against Diddy. This one was filed in Manhattan’s Federal District Court by an unnamed woman, alleging thatDiddy “and two other men gang-raped her in a New York recording studio 20 years ago, when she was 17 years old.”

The New York Times summarized the suit’s allegations:

“The woman says in the complaint that she met two associates of Mr. Combs at a lounge in the Detroit area, and they took her on a private plane to New York. There, the suit says, the three men gave the woman copious amounts of drugs and alcohol, and took turns raping her in the studio’s bathroom as she drifted in and out of consciousness.

“When they were done, the suit says, the woman fell into a fetal position in a bathroom, lying on the floor in pain, and she was soon driven to an airport and put on a plane back to Michigan.”

Diddy’s first direct public statement immediately followed, as written above.

NBA YoungBoy “Loves” Joe Budden, Claims Beef Was Just “Entertainment”

During a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Budden shared his thoughts on NBA YoungBoy, and didn’t hold back whatsoever. He claimed that the rapper’s music is “trash,” prompting a heated response from YB and his fans. “Don’t speak on me. I don’t play that sh*t. Don’t rat on me neither, you p*ssy b*tch,” he responded.

“St*pid d*mb b*tch,” he continued. “Yo d*ck don’t get even hard no more, clown-ass n***a. Ain’t no sabotaging me, b*tch. F*ck wrong wit that n***a, mayne? Don’t rat on me. I don’t want to argue with ya b*tch ass, n***a. B*tch, you do all them interviews, come on to Gravedigger Mountain and talk to me, n***a. B*tch, if you can’t do that, mayne, hey, you b*tch-made n***a. Shut your f*kin’ mouth!”

NBA YoungBoy On Joe Budden Beef

Obviously, YB wasn’t too pleased with the personality’s comments, and neither were his fans. He was accused of only bringing up the rapper for clout and more. Budden did later admit that he might have gone too hard on the 24-year-old, however. “I owe him an apology,” Budden explained during another podcast. “He don’t even bother nobody.” It seems as though the two of them have managed to patch things up if there was ever a problem, based on a recent clip shared by YB. In the clip, the rapper is seen trotting around Gravedigger Mountain on horseback.

According to him, the entire spat was staged to promote an interview. “Joe Budden, I love you bro,” he says. “They ain’t understand our plot twist. It was strictly for [us] to do an interview after that. Tell ’em don’t take us too serious. Everything entertainment, man.” What do you think of NBA YoungBoy claiming that his beef with Joe Budden was nothing but entertainment? Do you think he’s telling the truth? Between his decades-long musical career, Michael Jackson made a ton of material. Because of the King Of Pop’s incredible success every scrap of recorded material he’s ever been a part of has been circulated online. Or at least that’s what many fans would assume but there’s a pretty important piece of Jackson’s recorded history that hasn’t been available online, until now.

The first ever piece of recorded music featuring Michael Jackson’s voice dates all the way back to 1967. That’s where his group the Jackson 5 recorded their first-ever song “Big Boy.” The song has never been available online and isn’t on any streaming services but for a limited time, fans will have the opportunity to purchase it. It’s being sold by anotherblock, a Swedish blockchain-based music company. Fans can pick from two different versions the first of which is a $25 package that includes the song, its B-side, and downloadable stems from the track. Michael Jackson’s First Ever Recording For Sale Online

Michael Jackson’s influence over popular music is still being felt so strongly today. There’s an upcoming biopic of Jackson which started filming last month. The movie even features one of his own relatives in the lead role. Jaafar Jackson is taking on the role of his uncle Michael in the film. He impressed fans with both his look and his dance moves in an early sneak peek. Since the film is still pretty early in production, it’s unclear when fans will be able to watch it themselves.

In late October of this year, Jackson’s classic hit “Thriller” returned to the Hot 100. The song emerges every year around Halloween time as fans stream it enough during the holiday for it to shoot back up the charts.
