When Will Rihanna Go On Tour Again?

Rihanna fans have been waiting a few years to hear some new music from the pop star, but she has taken her time, running a beauty line and starting a family. However, in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, it seems there is a glimmer of hope, as she discussed her thoughts on touring again too.

When Will Rihanna Go On Tour Again?

Although Rihanna played the Super Bowl Halftime Show this year, she hasn’t actually toured since finishing her Anti World Tour in 2016. Next year would mark eight years, but it seems like she is still planning on coming back — it just depends on when.

“Well we’re always gonna go back on tour,” Rihanna told the outlet. “[But] I feel I want to do a tour when there’s new music. We already know what that’s gonna be, with the songs that I’ve performed on my last tour. That was a long time ago.”

“I feel like it’s only fair that my fans get what they’ve been waiting on, which is new music,” she added. “After that, lets just like, blow everything up.”

During the interview, she also mentioned that she felt like Anti was her “most brilliant album,” which has caused a struggle creatively to follow it with something new.

Elliott Wilson Slammed For Offset & Quavo Post Featuring Gunna

Elliott Wilson is coming under fire on Twitter for posting a photo of Offset with Gunna next to a photo of Quavo wearing a “Free Young Thug” shirt. Fans believe he is trying to start drama between the two with the post. Ice of the Joe Budden Podcast was one of the voices to criticize Wilson, responding sarcastically: “hip hop journalism.”

“Documenting Quavo’s reaction to Offset kickin’ it with Gunna is actually hip-hop journalism,” Wilson fired back on Twitter. In another tweet, he added: “Trolling. Hating. Messy. Y’all talk in zesty internet terms. But often don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Ice was far from the only one to call out Wilson. Another user wrote: “U prolly the messiest most unserious 60 year old ever. Real journalism tho bucko.” One replied: “This is Quavo 2nd time wearing this t-shirt and he has posted Free Thug on his IG story twice in last few months. He also has a happy bday post for him on his page. Stop reaching!”

Elliott Wilson Compares Offset & Quavo

The Offset and Quavo post isn’t the only drama Wilson has dealt with online in recent days. When Nicki Minaj went on Kai Cenat’s live stream, Wilson posted a screenshot from it featuring her dancing with the caption: “Hip Hop journalism.” He later apologized to Cenat for the remark. “I apologize to @KaiCenat and his fam,” he wrote on Twitter. “I was out of line and let my competitive nature get the best of me. Kai carved his own lane in the game, built a platform, and deserves respect. Salute the streamers and the young creatives getting to the paper and pushing our culture forward.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Elliott Wilson on HotNewHipHop.

Wack 100 & J. Stone Exchange Words Over Nipsey Hussle Diss

Earlier this week, J. Stone took aim at Wack 100 on Instagram, claiming that he’ll no longer be associating with anyone speaking poorly of his late collaborator and friend, Nipsey Hussle. According to him, he’s seen plenty of other artists who claim to have respect for Nipsey appearing to be on good terms with Wack 100, despite his past comments about the rapper. Wack 100 fired back, however, claiming that J. Stone is simply calling him out because he’s a “deadbeat.”

“Any of you n***as who f*ck with Wack 100 or sit down with cuz and laugh in his face and be cool with him; all you n***as talkin’ bout you got love for Hussle — cuz, don’t f*ck with me. I already started unfollowing n***as, bro,” J. Stone says in a new clip. “It’s no way in hell you n***as…say you f*ck with Nip and all that, but then y’all going to sit down with Wack 100 and laugh in his face and don’t check cuz about saying sh*t about Nip. You n***as got me f*cked up, bro. I’m done with ya’ll n***as, bro. Straight up, don’t talk to me.”

Wack 100 Fires Back

Wack 100 later announced on RaeGiveTV that J. Stone’s baby mama reached out to him asking for help, however, claiming that’s why the artist is actually upset. “He mad ’cause his baby mama hit me up,” he explained. “I didn’t know it was his baby mama and she doin’ bad in the hotel. He ain’t lookin’ out and said she needed some diapers. I didn’t even know it was his baby mama; I just thought it was a young lady hittin’ me up, so I sent her a couple boxes of diapers.”

“She was tellin’ me he’s a rat,” Wack also added. “I didn’t say nothin.’ You know about this man beating 30 years for doin’ a armed robbery in Anaheim […] He’s a deadbeat and people should know that ’cause they only support him because of Nipsey and there’s nothing to like.” What do you think of J. Stone and Wack 100’s recent back and forth? Who do you think is in the right? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Travis Scott’s Own Giant Head Almost Knocked Him Off Stage During His Tour

Travis Scott’s in the middle of his Circus Maximus Tour for Utopia, which has included highlights such as Travis performing fan favorite “Fe!n” 10 times in Tulsa and performing with his daughter Stormi in Los Anggels

However, at his show Tuesday night in New York (December 19), he almost added a moment to his blooper reel thanks to the elaborate stage design. While much of his stage is dressed as a cratered moonscape, there are also props like a massive reproduction of his head, which swings slowly across the stage on a pulley. Unfortunately for Travis, he forgot where it would be swooping down and found himself in its path.

While it didn’t bowl him completely over, it did result in his having to jump to a lower platform to avoid being knocked down. Naturally, though, fans caught the moment while filming and posted it on social media. At least it wasn’t worse; Travis has decent enough reflexes that he’s got fans posting things like “W save” instead of head puns.

Travis’ tour will continue through the rest of the month and up to the end of January. You can see the remaining dates below.

Cardi B Returns To Social Media Following Brief Hiatus In The Wake Of Offset Rant

Cardi B returned to Instagram on Tuesday after taking a very brief break in the wake of her recent rant about breaking up with Offset. She had gone live on the platform and accused him of playing games while holding back tears. In her latest post, she showed off her outfit in a quick video on her story.

“This motherf—er really likes to play games with me at my most vulnerable time,” she had told her followers on Instagram Live. “When I’m not the most confident. He likes to play games with me because he knows that I’m not an easy girl. You’ve really been feeling yourself… because of your b—- a– album and s—. And you really been doing me dirty after so many f—ing years that I motherf—ing helped your a–. Not even a f—ing thank you that I got from your b—- a–.”

The Instagram rant came after Cardi threatened to “take in there” in a scathing post on Instagram. She had revealed that she and Offset are no longer dating while downplaying the rumors that he slept with Chrisean Rock, earlier this month. “I’ve been single for a minute now but I have been afraid to like — not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world,” she said at the time.

Travis Scott Hit In The Head By Stage Prop During Concert

Earlier this year Travis Scott released his highly-anticipated new album UTOPIA. The project was absolutely stacked with high-profile features pulling appearances from Young Thug, Future, Drake, SZA, Beyonce, The Weeknd, and many more. Fittingly given how grand of an undertaking the album was it needed a tour that could match the caliber of excitement. Earlier this year Travis Scott took off on the Circus Maximus tour and it’s been just that. The larger-than-life performances often feature memorable moments and recurring guest stars on a night-by-night basis.

But during a show earlier this week, Travis Scott narrowly avoided disaster. In a video shared by TMZ, the “MELTDOWN” rapper is performing on stage while one of the suspended props slowly creeps up behind him. As fans watch, the prop hits him from behind and he only narrowly avoids a major fall by jumping down to a lower part of the stage. It’s unclear whether Travis was in the wrong place at the time or the prop simply wasn’t meant to be moving like that. Regardless he got away with the mistake without any injuries or even any delay to the show. Check out the video of the incident below.

Travis Scott’s Near-Disaster

Last week, Travis Scott had a different kind of tour issue. He canceled a planned Chicago show at the last minute and left plenty of fans frustrated. Part of their frustration came from the late notice but also the lack of transparency. Scott blamed the cancelation on travel delays but many fans believed he should have been able to notify them sooner.

Travis Scott’s music also recently appeared in the tracklist of Nicki Minaj’s new album Pink Friday 2 as a sample. Her song “Pink Birthday” contains a sample of one of Travis’ songs from his 2015 album Rodeo. During a livestream with Kai Cenat last week Minaj thanked Scott directly for helping with the sample clearance. What do you think of Travis Scott almost being knocked off-stage by one of his tour props? Let us know in the comment section below.

Latto’s Guest Verses In 2023, Ranked

Latto’s been everywhere this year and the near dozen features she’s dished in 2023 have only helped elevate her status. No doubt, it’s been a successful year for her, both financially and artistically. Latto showcased her confident rap style on several bangers. Needless to say, 2023 was a great one for the women in rap, and Latto certainly helped establish their reign.

Ice Spice took over the airwaves, while Sexyy Red delivered some flawless hooks. However, Latto’s success in particular is worthy of note because she’s not necessarily a new face by any means. Her guest verses on a variety of songs have undoubtedly set her apart, especially when she could leap from songs alongside newcomers like Luh Tyler and TiaCorine to joining forces with heavyweights like Jay Rock. As a featured act, she also managed to snag her first chart-topper on the Billboard Hot 100. So, overall, it’s been a stellar year for Latto! Here are the 11 features Latto appeared on in 2023, ranked from good to best.

11. “The Grinch Freestyle” – Luh Tyler ft. Latto

The most recent of Latto’s guest verses appeared on Luh Tyler’s “The Grinch Freestyle,” released on December 15, 2023. Despite its title, the song is in no way related to Christmas. While Latto’s verse on this track is not her worst this year, it certainly isn’t one of her best either. “The Grinch Freestyle” is not a bad song, it just doesn’t leave much of an impression.

10. Peaches & Eggplants (Remix)” – Young Nudy ft. Latto & Sexyy Red

Despite being quite popular, “Peaches & Eggplants” contains what is arguably Latto’s weakest verse of 2023. Admittedly, the track is a certified club banger and is sure to get folks turnt at parties. However, in terms of lyricism and flow, it is not as impressive as most of Latto’s other guest verses. The beat is good, and her verse isn’t bad at all, but Latto served better features in 2023.

9. “FreakyT (Remix)” – TiaCorine ft. Latto

Released on April 21, 2023, the “FreakyT” remix sees Latto and TiaCorine deliver an impressive rap performance. The two rappers go toe-to-toe, exchanging bars that sit just right on the beat. It’s a solid outing from Latto that sees her trading bars alongside one of the most promising new faces out of North Carolina. Sure, it might not be at the top of the list of Latto’s 2023 feature run but the “FreakyT” remix still stands out as a highlight.

8. “Boom Pt. 2” – Mellow Buckz ft. Latto

This track opens with Latto proclaiming she’s “finna tweak out in this b*tch real quick,” and that’s exactly what she does. Mellow Buckz’s “Boom Pt. 2” runs for a little over two minutes, and Latto completely murks it from start to finish. The minimalist production accentuates her verse and helps her shine on the song. Without a doubt, it is among Latto’s strongest performances of the year.

7. “BOMB” – Black Party ft. Latto

It’s always a delight to witness two performers effortlessly blend on a track. On “BOMB,” listeners get to experience that happens with Black Party and Latto. While her verse on the track is short, it’s undoubtedly memorable. The two rappers are a great match on “BOMB,” we only wish Latto had a longer verse.

6. “Different Breed” – Mike WiLL Made-It ft. Swae Lee and Latto

A veteran music producer, Mike WiLL Made-It can probably make a banger in his sleep. He brought together Swae Lee and Latto on “Different Breed” and they both delivered strong performances. The song was released on October 16, 2023, and unfortunately is yet to enjoy considerable commercial success. However, that could change any minute as it could go viral on a social media platform like TikTok. It’s just catchy enough to gain traction on the video-sharing app.

5. “Don’t Play With It (Remix)” – Lola Brooke Ft. Latto and Yung Miami

“Don’t Play With It” was originally released as a single in May 2021, and featured rapper Billy B. Subsequently, it went viral on TikTok in 2022, and Lola Brooke decided to put out a remix, capitalizing on the song’s success. Eventually, the Latto and Yung Miami remix of the drill record was released on March 24, 2023. Each of the three femcees brought their A game and delivered memorable verses. Lola Brooke already set the tone with her high-energy verse and hook, and Latto expertly matched the vibe. The song went on to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 69.

4. “Fine As Can Be” – Offset ft. Latto

“Fine As Can Be” is a track from Offset’s second solo studio album Set It Off. The trap song features a high-energy beat, and both artists deliver as required. We can’t say for sure whose verse or performance on this track is better because they both went hard. However, it is undeniable that Latto ate this up like a handful of her other features in 2023.

3. “Champagne Shit (Remix)” – Janelle Monae ft. Latto and Quavo

Janelle Monae’s “Champagne Shit” was already a great record from an equally great album. The song’s remix was released on October 6, 2023. While some would argue that the original track is better, not much can be faulted in Latto’s verse on the song. The rapper rode the beat effortlessly, and her almost sensual delivery was just what the doctor ordered. Altogether, the artists’ verses blended quite nicely on the song.

2. “Seven” – Jungkook ft. Latto

“Seven” was released on July 14, 2023, and instantly became one of the biggest features of her career. When it was first announced, it raised many brows because the two artists were an unexpected pairing. However, upon its release, “Seven” converted listeners’ doubt into a pleasant surprise. Jungkook is a member of arguably the biggest boy band in the world right now, so the song was expected to be successful. However, it exceeded fans’ expectations and dominated airwaves and charts all over the world.

The song debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was also the first song by either artist to achieve this feat. In addition, “Seven” appeared on charts in over 50 territories. Furthermore, it set a new record for the highest-debuting single by a solo Korean artist in UK singles chart history. The song is now also the fastest song in history to surpass one billion streams on Spotify. Evidently, “Seven” is a fan favorite, and rightly so. Latto’s verse on this song is arguably one of her best guest verses of all time. “Seven” is an undeniable bop, and we hope there’s more of the pair to come.

1. “Too Fast (Pull Over)” – Jay Rock and Anderson .Paak ft. Latto

The only reason this would be an unpopular opinion for the top spot on this list is because it’s not as big a song as some of the other tracks. “Too Fast” was released on July 21, 2023 as a non-album single by the trio. Without a doubt, Latto delivered one of her best verses of 2023 on this track. Likewise, Jay Rock and Anderson .Paak left it all on the floor as well. The upbeat Hip Hop track is as hard as they come and deserves more attention. Check it out if you haven’t already, and you’ll see why we’ve placed it on top of this list.

As the racketeering trial against Young Thug and YSL continues, one person connected to them stood up for Gunna amid the snitching accusations against him. While rappers such as Lil Baby and Lil Durk have made their feelings known about Gunna taking a plea deal in exchange for his freedom after nearly a year of incarceration.

But Young Thug’s dad Jeffery Williams Sr., who previously defended Gunna from such accusations, saying, “Gunna hasn’t done anything whatsoever that can hurt us on this case,” expressed his feelings on all the “snitch” talk.

“[Lil Baby] need to shut the f*ck up, ’cause he don’t know what’s going on,” he said in a new interview. “He going off of what he heard. Ask Lil Baby has he ever come to a court date. That’s what I want y’all to ask these goddamn rappers and these bloggers with this snitch sh*t. When have y’all went to a court date to support Slime?…Go on their social media pages and say, ‘Why in the f*ck haven’t you been to the courthouse to support your dude?’ And I guarantee you won’t get an answer.”

Are Metro Boomin And Future Making A New Album Together?

metro boomin future

Back in 2022, Metro Boomin dropped his Heroes & Villains album — and has been hard at work since. During the MTV Video Music Awards in September, he appeared to tease a new collaborative record with Future. “Me and Pluto album on the way,” he said, according to All Hip Hop.

Since then, fans have been waiting to hear more about the details behind it.

Here’s what to know.

Are Metro Boomin And Future Making A New Album Together?

As a new update about the album that Metro Boomin and Future are working on together, Metro provided some insight in a recent social media post. On Tuesday (December 19), he shared a photo of the two from the studio, with the caption “COMING SOON” and quite a few eagle emojis.

Throughout Future’s career, the two have been longtime collaborators. Metro Boomin served as the producer for some of Future’s biggest songs, including “Mask Off” and more.

It also makes sense if the music arrives early in the new year, as Metro Boomin and Future are set to play Rolling Loud California in March 2024. More information and tickets for the festival can be found here.

Until then, not much else is known about what the two have been working on.
