Gunna And Turbo Recruit Some Classic Music Video Starlets For New “Bachelor” Visuals

Back in November, Gunna and one of his frequent collaborators Turbo teamed up for a new song called “Bachelor.” The track has been pretty successful in the months since racking up more than 13 million streams. It’s the second time the rapper has lent a verse to an official Turbo song following “QUARANTINE CLEAN” which also featured Young Thug. Those streaming numbers are about to get a significant uptick following the release of the song’s new music video.

The visuals for “Bachelor” were teased ahead of time as a major event and they didn’t disappoint. For the video there are some typical shots of Turbo playing the piano and Gunna delivering his lines in fittingly luxurious imagery. But it’s the other stars of the video that are making waves. They recruited an all-star cast of video vixens who stared in some of the most iconic rap videos of the 2000’s to appear in the new video. Headliners include Eboni Jackson, Tammy Torres, KD Aubert, and more. Collectively the girls have appeared in music videos for Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Drake, Fabolous, 50 Cent, and many more high-profile rap acts. Check out the ornately decorated video below.

Gunna and Turbo Go All Out For “Bachelor” Video

Gunna fans are expecting some new music from the rapper this year. That’s because he responded to a post made by Spotify’s Rap Caviar playlist asking who fans wanted to drop new music this year. He didn’t reveal much in his response but it still got fans hyped for whatever he’s planning.

He followed that vague announcement up with a surprising tease. When discussing his next album Gunna said he wanted to focus on “substance.” He also claimed that he wanted to explore his afrobeats side after a performance in the style last year garnered a bunch of positive attention from fans. What do you think of Gunna and Turbo recruiting famous 2000’s rap video stars for the visuals to their new song “Bachelor?” Let us know in the comment section below.

Danny Brown has a long history of incredibly creative music videos. For his Atrocity Exhibition standout “Ain’t It Funny” he recruited Jonah Hill to direct a surreal video stylized to look like a fake sitcom. Earlier today he unleashed the new video for his song “Y.B.P” featuring Bruiser Wolf. The video is directed by Edem Wornoo & William Child and deploys unique-looking stop-motion animation. In the video itself, stop-motion versions of Danny and Wolf rap their lines while the story of an unpredictable robbery unfolds around them. KenTheMan Links With Rapsody For “Love Answers All” Music Video

Houston rapper KenTheMan and North Carolina’s Grammy-nominated artist Rapsody have teamed up to release the music video for their collaborative track “Love Answers All.” Moreover, the song is part of Roc Nation’s 2023 mixtape, Humble Soles, and the accompanying visuals were directed by Timmy Shawley and Aaron Wink. The slow rhythmic pattern of the track, characterized by booming 808s and snares, is intricately woven with an electric daze of synth-like strings, creating a meditative atmosphere. In addition, Rapsody’s powerful verse cuts through the soft, dizzying beat as she candidly shares the profound pain she experienced following her cousin’s death.

Moreover, the lyrics question a world that prioritizes money over humanity. The gritty film shots of Rapsody’s studio sessions and glimpses into her success on the road provide a visual backdrop to her journey of overcoming challenges and emerging stronger. Furthermore, KenTheMan enters the scene in a vibrant, tricked-out chrome orange car, paying homage to her southern heritage as it pulls into Houston’s Screwed Up Records & Tapes store. However, the music video seamlessly cuts between hazy footage of her old neighborhood and shots of her early come-up days. KenTheMan’s quick, sharp bars resonate with her success and values, highlighting her rise from an apartment to a two-story house.

Furthermore, the Texas emcee proudly stands in the blessings she has earned, fiercely dismissing those who doubted her journey. “Love Answers All” is a standout track from the Humble Soles mixtape, a unique project curated to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop in 2023. DJ Clue, an iconic figure in the mixtape scene, played a pivotal role in the project, marking a resurgence in his career.

Moreover, Roc Nation’s Mixtape initiative extends beyond the music, involving a partnership with global sports company PUMA. This collaboration has given rise to a 360 ecosystem featuring digital content, sneaker and apparel drops, and nationwide pop-up events and cypher competitions, celebrating the intersection of hip hop and streetwear culture. The track’s evocative lyrics and the compelling visuals contribute to the narrative of resilience, success, and the enduring power of love in the face of challenges. 21 Savage Takes Us Back To His Hometown Roots In “Redrum” Music Video

21 Savage is taking the music world by storm with his brand-new album american dream. It has been a long time coming for the UK-bred rap superstar. The last time we got a new project from him was back in December of 2018 with i am > i was. Fans are really enjoying what he is bringing to the record. While it is not a change-up from his signature murderous style, 21 has seemingly taken it to new and exciting heights. One of the songs that is deservedly receiving tons of positive feedback is the third track “redrum.”

It might be a bold take for how fresh this is in our minds, but this may be Savage’s best performance ever. “redrum” features a killer beat (pun intended) from London on da Track. It effortlessly weaves in a sample of “Serenata do Adeus,” which is a famous piece by Brazilian composer composer Vinícius de Moraes. According to fans, hundreds of singers have redone this classic. The one singing is Elizeth Cardoso or Elza Laranjeira. Regardless of who it is it sounds fantastic and haunting.

Watch The Music Video For “Redrum” By 21 Savage

It fits perfectly because “redrum” is a reference to one of the greatest horror flicks of all time, The Shining. 21 even incorporated Jack Nicholson’s iconic line “Here’s Johnny!” The music video above is also out now. It sees the multi-cultural artist head back to the streets of the UK. Some think it is a missed opportunity. That belief is going around because they feel he could have recreated the shots from the movie and its redrum hallway scene. Nonetheless, the track is doing numbers already. It is good to have 21 back in action.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new music video and song, “redrum,” by 21 Savage? Is this the best song from american dream, why or why not? Will this project be remembered as a classic in the next few years? Did he provide his all-time best rapping performance on this track? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding 21 Savage. Nicki Minaj Addresses Lack Of “Pink Friday 2” Videos, And Her Answer Will Surprise You

Nicki Minaj is riding high off of the success of Pink Friday 2, and recently sat down with Ebro Darden on Apple Music to talk about her life and career. While the rest of the interview was quite enlightening and satisfying, the Barbz might not be happy with her answer to one of their burning questions: where on Earth are the PF2 visuals? Moreover, the Young Money alum explained how a conversation with J. Cole in the studio about her song “FTCU” inspired a new perspective on this. “[I] didn’t like the chorus because, you know, you wouldn’t be able to play it on radio,” she recalled how her talk with the Dreamville boss went.

“[J. Cole] was like, ‘Who cares?’” Nicki Minaj remarked to Ebro. Funnily enough, she recently teased a potential remix of this song with an as-of-yet unknown male MC. “He was like, ‘Man, f**k the radio!’ And I was like, ‘You’re right! F**k the radio!’ And it dawned on me. Why the f**k– this is not something I’m putting out to be as a single. This is something that’s a part of a body of work. And I didn’t even wanna put out singles. I purposefully don’t have videos out because I want y’all to listen to the music.”

As such, it seems like there’s not a lot of hope currently for us to get an “Everybody,” “Beep Beep,” or “Big Difference” music video. Still, it’s hard to ever imagine a world in which the Trinidadian superstar is anything less than a commercial powerhouse with anything she does. Pink Friday 2 broke Spotify records and, although divisive, still contains some beloved songs for the Barbz. Maybe her upcoming tour’s set-up is all we’ll get connected to the project’s visual aesthetics… and that’s okay!

After all, we still have plenty to look forward to when it comes to the 41-year-old’s still-evolving Pink Friday 2 rollout. She participated in a fan-favorite interview with Funny Marco, and has been hot on the press of the press with one media appearance after another. What other questions do you want to see answered about this era? Drop them in the comments and stay logged into HNHH for more updates on Nicki Minaj.

Megan Thee Stallion And Renee Rapp Play Dress-Up And Start A Riot In “Not My Fault” Music Video

Megan Thee Stallion is in the midst of a run of new soundtrack singles in recent months. It started with a song she contributed to the A24-produced film D*cks: The Musical, which she also played a role in. Recently, she appeared in the newest season of Netflix’s animated show Big Mouth. Alongside her appearance she also contributed a raunchy new song to the show. But the biggest soundtrack cut she’s dropped recently is a collaboration with one of the breakout stars of 2023.

Renee Rapp is establishing herself as one of the go-to young artists and pop singers around. She’s taking on the lead role in an upcoming remake of Mean Girls that will feature many more musical elements. That’s probably one of the main reasons why Rapp teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for a new single last month. The track is called “Not My Fault” and in conjunction with the release of the film it also just got an accompanying music video. Fans are flocking to the video in bulk since it dropped earlier today. Check out the new visual below.

Megan Thee Stallion’s New Music Video

In the video, Megan and Renee show off a variety of flashy outfits. In the legacy of the original film, there’s a LOT of pink. But it eventually leads to a darker point, literally. Renee sports some darker clothes, gets new tattoos and even starts a school riot in the second half of the video.

The song follows the release of Megan Thee Stallion’s new single “Cobra” last year. The track saw her bearing her feelings with even more honesty and vulnerability than ever before. The song also saw her addressing her breakup from Pardison Fontaine and called him out directly for allegedly cheating. He answered back with responses of his own in musical format, though they were far less successful. What do you think of the new music video for Megan Thee Stallion and Renee Rapp’s “Not My Fault?” Let us know in the comment section below.

Travis Scott, Rob49, & 21 Savage Deliver Borderline NSFW “Topia Twins” Music Video

Travis Scott is one of the biggest artists in the entire world at this point. Overall, he is someone who is always pushing his sound forward, and that was more than evident with UTOPIA. Although it is an album that has proven to be a bit polarizing, there are a lot of fans who love it. In fact, some would argue that this was the best album of 2023. Critics would have something to say about that, however, Travis does not care. He is doing his thing and the fans continue to support it.

There have only been a couple of music videos for this album so far. He has the Circus Maximus movie, however, it only encompasses a couple of the songs. Now, however, he has come through with the music video for the track TOPIA TWINS. This is one of the best collaborations on the project and it features Rob49 as well as 21 Savage. It is a high-octane song with some pretty raunchy lyrics. It is a truly fantastic track, and this music video is one that will have you changing tabs if your mom walks in the room.

Travis Scott With A New Visual

As you can see above, this is a video that is filled with debauchery and scantily clad women. The Clermont Twins make an appearance in this video which seemed like a true given at this point. As for Travis and Rob49, they can be seen cruising on jetskis all while being surrounded by various twins. It is a video that plays on male fantasies and for some, it will really hit the notes of what one would consider to be a utopia.

Hopefully, we end up with more great music videos from this album rollout that still appears to be ongoing. Let us know what you thought of this visual, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on your favorite artists and their upcoming releases.

Usher And H.E.R.’s Newest Video

Usher has had a pretty substantial 2023. His Las Vegas residency was well received by everyone in attendance. That included the numerous celebs who made headline news for showing up. It was also the inciting point for one of the biggest public scandals of the year. The drama between Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson began at one of Usher’s shows. The R&B legend himself was pretty comedic in his observation of how the events unfolded.

Usher also got tapped to perform at next year’s Super Bowl halftime show. He will take to the stage in Las Vegas in February of next year for the final game of the NFL season. He is also planning on releasing his brand new album on the same day. The album’s lead single “Good Good” features 21 Savage and Summer Walker. Bas Is Stranded In The Desert In New Visuals For “Dr. O’blivion”

Sudanese rapper and singer Bas’ new album We Only Talk About Real S*** When We’re F****d Up is continuing its torrent run. It is still doing well because we are here to talk about it once more. This project is a lot of fun to listen to, dissect, and just vibe out with. Bas delivered a multitude of atmospheres and topical focus. It makes it arguably his best full body of work in his rock solid career.

Over the past week and a half or so, we have touched on some of our personal favorites from the LP. “Black Jedi,” “Risk,” and “Decent” were the ones that stood out at HNHH. However, you also have heavy-hitting collaborations with J. Cole. Bas not only had Cole perform on the mic, but also behind the keyboard. He had a hand in the deeper cut “Dr. O’blivion.”
