Boosie Badazz Doppelganger Hilariously Stars In Music Video

As of late, a music video featuring a man who looks a lot like Boosie Badazz has been making its rounds online. The video was originally posted back in June, but is just starting to gain real traction now due to the Louisiana spitter’s doppelganger. The video in question is for rapper D-Aye’s remix of C0LDGAME’s track “Duckin’ Smoke,” which features the real Boosie.

While D-Aye seems to have not been able to book the real Boosie to appear in the music video, he got the next best thing, a look-alike. The two men aren’t totally identical, but they do look pretty similar. As expected, fans are out in full force with jokes in the comments section. “That’s The boosie ‘we have at home,’” one YouTube user writes. “They done cloned my boi,” another says.

D-Aye Enlists Fake Boosie For His Video

The fake Boosie is clearly getting a lot of attention lately, but luckily, so is the real one. Earlier this month, CBS unveiled “A GRAMMY Salute To 50 Years Of Hip-Hop,” which featured performances by various hip-hop stars, including Boosie. He graced the stage with his 2006 hit, “Wipe Me Down.” He Tweeted a clip of his performance after it aired, sharing his appreciation. “THANKS TO THE GRAMMYS FOR FINALLY GIVING ME A CHANCE TO PERFORM AT AWARDS SHOW SINCE I BEEN HOME FROM PRISON!! #imgrateful,” he wrote.

He’s also trying to get some collaborations of his own underway, recently calling on Lil Baby for a feature on his next album. “I just saw Lil Baby,” Boosie said in a clip. “Put me on the album, n***a! Tell Lil Baby put me on the album, n***a […] Real n****s getting banned these days — put a real n***a on the album, Im’a slide, n***a.” What do you think of Boosie’s doppelganger? “The Color Purple” Soundtrack: Alicia Keys’ “Lifeline” Music Video Is Full Of Soul

Alicia Keys’ vocal talent is one of a kind, which is exactly why her hits like “Girl On Fire” and “No One” have appeared in a handful of shows and movies throughout her career. More recently, the New Yorker found herself involved with Oprah Winfrey’s remake of The Color Purple, contributing a beautiful song called “Lifeline” to the historic film’s soundtrack. On Thursday (December 21), Keys unleashed the song’s accompanying music video, for which she reconnected with director Diane Martel, HipHopDX reports.

In the past, the duo collaborated on visuals for songs like “If I Ain’t Got You” and “Like You’ll Never See Me Again.” Their working relationship seems to only grow stronger with each joint effort, and the visual story they tell for “Lifeline” marks some of their best creative planning yet. “I can be your lifeline / Stay with you ‘til the sunrise / When you’re low / It don’t mean you’re alone,” the mother of two’s voice beautifully rings out.

Alicia Keys Shares Her Stunning Contribution to The Color Purple Film

“I’ll be by your side / Oh, I can be the reason / That you don’t feel your demons / When you’re low / It don’t mean you’re alone / I’ll be by your side,” Keys soothes listeners. Now that “Lifeline” is here, we’re even more eager to see The Color Purple when it hits theatres on Christmas Day. Ciara, H.E.R. and Halle Bailey all star in the project, though Oprah recently shared that the studio was hoping to see Beyonce or Rihanna cast in the film.

We’re just days away from The Color Purple officially arriving in theatres, and movie buffs are already eager to see how the classic story’s retelling will go over with audiences. Earlier this fall, Bailey described the atmosphere of being on set as comparable to a “cookout,” making her and her co-stars feel incredibly comfortable and at home together. Drake Enlists Morgan Wallen For Explosive “You Broke My Heart” Music Video

Today, Drake came through with a new music video for his Scary Hours 3 track, “You Broke My Heart.” He recruited country star Morgan Wallen to co-star in the beginning of the video, but unfortunately, things didn’t end up working out for them. They’re seen chatting about a lost lover over drinks, ultimately deciding that the split was for the best. When they reach the conclusion that they should go and see who else is out there, however, they meet a pretty dramatic fate.

Wallen is seen getting into the passenger seat of Drake’s car, both of them looking eager to hit the town. As they pull away, the camera pans to two women, who hit a button to detonate the car. The destructive duo takes over the video from there, nonchalantly rhyming along with the track as chaos erupts behind them.

Drake’s “You Broke My Heart” Music Video

This isn’t the only fun music video fans have gotten from Drake as of late, however. Following the release of For All The Dogs, the Canadian hitmaker joined J. Cole for an action-packed “First Person Shooter” music video, which saw Drake performing on top of the Scotiabank Arena. He also enlisted Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett to direct his dreamy “Another Late Night” video with Lil Yachty, which he dropped in October.

Of course, he also kicked things off with a music video for “8AM In Charlotte,” which features an appearance from his six-year-old son, Adonis. Overall, his latest offering is yet another memorable video, especially considering Morgan Wallen’s appearance. The two of them have gone head to head in the charts in recent months, and fans are loving their alliance. What do you think of Drake’s new “You Broke My Heart” music video? Kay-O Convicted Of Murder After Bragging About It In Music Video

UK drill rapper Kay-O, born Kammar Henry-Richards, was convicted of murder earlier this week. The conviction comes after he seemingly bragged about his alleged crimes in a music video. The 25-year-old, along with three of his associates, was charged in the fatal shooting of Kacey Boothe. Boothe was also 25 when he was shot outside of a community center in north-east London in 2022. The group was also found guilty of planning to kill Khalid Samante. A date for Kay-O’s sentencing will be scheduled in 2024.

Samante, who’s believed to have been their intended target, was hosting a birthday party for his son at the community center when the shooting took place. After the attack, Boothe was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. During their trial, the men were accused of being associated with rival gangs. The jury was told that the shooting took place “against a background of violent incidents.”

Kay-O’s Sentencing Will Be Scheduled Next Year

According to prosecutors, the murder weapon was fired on seven separate occasions. Boothe’s older brother Kyle was also reportedly a victim of a shooting with the weapon in 2020. His injuries were not fatal. They additionally accuse the rapper of bragging about the attack on Boothe in one of his music videos. The video in question is for his track “Laughing Stock,” which they claim references the fact that they used the gun to shoot both Boothe and his brother.

“A boast was being made that the same ‘Sig’ (gun) had been used to shoot both Kacey Boothe and his elder brother Kyle Boothe,” Prosecutor Anthony Orchard KC claims. “Big Boothe and Little got hit, same sig, that’s a sour family/Both got slapped at functions, neck and head, handguns come handy,” the lyrics read. Orchard adds that at the time of the song’s release, this information was unknown to authorities, and known to only those involved in the crime. CyHi The Prynce Clarifies Dissing Joe Budden In New Music Video With Pusha T

CyHi The Prynce is anticipating the release of his next album The Story Of Mr. EGOT in a pretty big and inflammatory way. However, he doesn’t think that the immediate reaction to this method is as big of a deal as the Internet is making it out to be. Moreover, the rapper recently released his six-minute-long music video for the single “Mr. Put That S**t On” featuring Pusha T. In the visual, he slaps a Joe Budden stand-in in the face and features a skit of The Average Joe Show, which might be a shot at the Slaughterhouse affiliate’s self-titled podcast. Still, with his latest Instagram post, the frequent Kanye West collaborator explained the idea behind this, and how it doesn’t have much to do with their established beef.

“In the Average Joe Show from the scene in “Mr. Put That Sh!t On”, the goal was to transform a controversial topic into an artistic masterpiece with humor, theatrics, and pure entertainment,” CyHi wrote on Instagram on Tuesday (November 28). In addition, the post features Joe Budden praising the track and some more discussion on it, although he didn’t react to the music video.

CyHi Explains Shots At Joe Budden

“Through creative expression, I highlight artists’ challenges, including aspects like criticism and comparisons, balancing personal style and external expectations, staying adaptable to evolving trends, and addressing the difficulties of gaining recognition,” CyHi continued. “Despite these hurdles, many artists, like myself, view criticism as a catalyst for growth, highlighting resilience and intrinsic motivation in our creative journeys.

“This scene isn’t about past beef but addresses these challenges and showcases the importance of creative expression,” he concluded. “Interestingly enough, Joe Budden acknowledged the feature in a recent podcast episode, embracing the role of the ‘sacrificial lamb.’ If you haven’t already, check out the captivating blend of humor and entertainment in my bio! #TheStoriesofMrEGOT

Although they may not be on the best of terms these days, they certainly had hits together. It is a video that got a lot of play back when MTV did still play music as opposed to “Ridiculousness” re-runs. That said, Riri and Drake have hit a brand-new milestone for the video. According to Billboard, the music video has now reached a whopping view count of over 1 billion.

Chrisean Rock Graces K Suave Music Video, They Flex Their Status

Chrisean Rock and K Suave are a hot social media item right now, and just took their flexing online to a next step. Moreover, the former appeared in the latter’s music video for “Cloud9 2,” which is a rage-tinged trap banger with all the rap video checkmarks: cars, mansions, women, and more. The two have been pretty tight-knit in the last couple of weeks online, which has caused a lot of conversation given the Baddies star’s previous relationship with Blueface. Whether it’s a legitimate relationship or just something for the cameras- as disingenuous or disrespectful as that sounds- is up to time to tell.

Furthermore, that’s worth mentioning because Chrisean Rock was tangled up with Lil Mabu recently, which drew similar rumors. As such, we don’t want to make any immediate assumptions about whether this is a fully romantic bond or two artists pursuing their bag as they should. Regardless, at least it’s given K Suave’s music and career a bit of a publicity boost in areas that he might not have found an audience in otherwise. After all, if you compare his music to Blueface’s and even Chrisean’s, they sound quite distinct.

Chrisean Rock Shouts Out Her Appearance In K Suave’s New Music Video: Watch

However, one thing’s for sure: whatever’s going on between the Baltimore native and K Suave, it hasn’t stopped her from finding common ground with her former boo. For example, she recently reunited with Blueface for Thanksgiving, spending some quality time as a family with their son, Chrisean Jr., and the California MC’s other kids. Overall, this is a welcome and heartening change of pace from their usual fights and beef. For the sake of their own happiness, health, and that of their families, hopefully they keep this behavior up.

Meanwhile, as Suave and Rock’s bond develops, we’ll see what other antics they get into to stir up the viral pot. It’s their bread and butter at this point, and it’s hard to not take her relationship history into context here. Omarion Denies Making His Video Vixens Uncomfortable

At the end of last month, Omarion unveiled a new music video for his track “Serious.” He’s joined by two women in the video, who are seen spending time with the singer in a pool. He shared a snippet from this particular scene on Instagram to promote the video earlier this week, and it managed to get fans talking. Unfortunately, many of the commenters are claiming that the scene feels a bit awkward, and think it may have been because his two co-stars felt out of place.

“The women look uncomfortable,” one social media wrote underneath the clip. “Atleast pour them a drink or sum they drinkin air,” another said. While he’s been met with quite a bit of clowning for the clip, some fans have come to his defense. Many think that the women simply weren’t given any notes from the director as to what to do in the scene. “They just don’t know what to do that’s all,” one commenter says. Others think that due to the nature of the scene, palpable weirdness was unavoidable. “This was just an odd scene in general,” someone else writes.

Omarion Says Critics Are Just Trying To “Stir Up The Vibes”

Omarion has now responded to the chatter, making it clear that he thinks people are just overreacting. According to him, he always makes sure that the women he’s around are comfortable. He also claims that if he had sensed any issues at the shoot, he wouldn’t have let it continue. “I see y’all trying to stir up the vibes,” he begins in a new clip. “But just know, any time any ladies are around me, they’re comfortable… I don’t hang around too long in uncomfortable situations.”

Sexyy Red Sparks Controversy With Prison-Themed Music Video

A new clip of Sexyy Red filming an upcoming music video has gotten fans talking, but unfortunately, it’s for all the wrong reasons. In the clip, the St. Louis native is seen on a prison-themed set, surrounded by extras dressed up as inmates. “Free my n***a,” she repeats in the song, potentially referring to the father of her child who’s famously behind bars.

Social media users have been critical of the message of the video. Many note how it seemingly makes light of a serious subject. Several users are also taking issue with the fact that it could work to perpetuate negative stereotypes of African Americans. Sexyy Red’s no stranger to controversy, but some think she crossed the line with this track, and are finding it difficult to support.

Sexyy Red Accused Of Perpetuating Negative Stereotypes

“I was rocking with her but this has gone too far,” one Instagram commenter says. “I wish they free him already,” another writes, “I’m ready for her to rap about something else.” There are some users coming to Sexyy Red’s defense, claiming that the track and accompanying video align with her brand, so people shouldn’t be surprised. “Let that girl do her and mind her business,” one fan says. “Money is to be made pregnant or not.”

This isn’t the only hot water Sexyy Red’s found herself in lately, however. Earlier this month, a ballet instructor shared a TikTok detailing her experience working with 5-year-old students. She called attention to the fact that they were requesting to hear Sexyy Red’s explicit music in class, demanding that parents do better. The rapper responded, advising the instructor to allow the children to listen to her if they want, and telling her to “stfu.” She went on to say, “Ima make some kidz bop songs for yall fr,” but her response earned her some backlash regardless. What do you think of Sexyy Red filming a music video on a prison set? Do you think she deserves the backlash she’s getting, or are social media users overreacting? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
