Mariah Carey Reveals Mother & Sister Passed Away On The Same Day

Mariah Carey is going through the absolute unthinkable right now. According to exclusive reports from TMZ and PEOPLE, the global singing superstar revealed that her mother and older sister have passed away. Making this news even more gut-wrenching, is the fact that the 55-year-old lost both family members on the same day this past weekend. At HNHH, we just want to send our sincerest condolences to Mariah and her loved ones during this heartbreaking time. We also want to say that we hope everyone else will continue to remain respectful.

At the time of writing, the cause of death for both of her family members is not known. Patricia Carey was 87, and sister Alison was 63, according to Us Weekly. In speaking with TMZ, Mariah said, “My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day”. She went on, “I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed”.

During his recent interview with Gillie and Wallo, he looked back at a plan she had to support their family further, even if it came at the expense of honesty. Moreover, the singer and actor revealed that Murray allegedly forced him to fake a learning disability when he was eight years old so she could get a little under $800 from Social Security to contribute to the hard work she was already putting in for her loved ones. Many took issue with how he used the r-word, but a tale is a tale.

Tyrese laughed while recalling this choice, calling it his “first acting gig” and agreeing with Wallo that Priscilla Murray Gibson was his “first director.” Fans wonder whether this confession will result in any retroactive action, but it seems like an unlikely possibility. Speaking of which, Tyrese recently made some other damning claims against Samantha Lee. “I just got another letter from her lawyers,” he expressed on Instagram Live. “Requesting that I send over all of my tax returns and all of my bank statements because she’s trying to get $20,000 and I think they’re trying to take it up to, like, 40. They’ve been looking at all of my movies and all of the concerts and shows that I’ve been doing and they over there like blood-sucking lawyers, rubbing their hands. And Samantha’s doing the same thing.

“Rubbing their hands and they’re going, ‘Oh s**t, you know, for the last year and a half, he look like he’s been doing really well. Let’s go ahead and get those bank statements over here so we can figure out a way to get this law firm another $600,000 they were asking for in legal fees,’” Tyrese continued. “It’s a dirty, dirty game out here. Then, just a second or two later, she talks to her followers, presumably through a TikTok or Instagram Live to explain why she did that.

PnB Rock’s Mom Calls Out Son’s Alleged Killer For His “Ridiculous” Lies

PnB Rock’s mother, Deannea Allen, went off on her son’s alleged killer, Freddie Trone, while speaking with Rolling Stone outside of the courtroom on Monday. The jury heard the 42-year-old suspect take the stand in the case earlier in the day. While testifying, he maintained his innocence and argued that a “different driver” took his Buick Enclave to the Roscoes House of Chicken and Waffles where Rock was shot and killed by his 17-year-old son.

“His lies are ridiculous. That is ridiculous. The surveillance should speak for itself,” Allen said. “They’re trying to say they had nothing to do with it. It’s unacceptable. My son was a beautiful person. He tried to take care of everyone. Our last conversation was a half-hour when he was on his way to California. He told me about all the good things he was doing. He was just trying to be better, a little more conscious.”

Bhad Bhabie sparked a lot of fan concern online after posting footage of her boyfriend LeVaughn, the father of her daughter, allegedly assaulting her. On Monday (July 8), her mother Barbara Bregoli addressed the matter on her Instagram Story, claiming that her daughter has been manipulated in her relationship and strayed away from her family. “DV [domestic violence], Manipulation and a house full of people watching what’s going on and doing nothing!!!” the mother alleged. “I’m the only one who didn’t know about this she confides in his mother & Tilan (part of the manipulation is isolation from her family). It’s no wonder LV and Ira get along.”

In addition, Bregoli also added a picture of Bhad Bhabie’s daughter Kali Love, who is now with her grandmother and is “good,” according to her. “I love that man more than I love myself and its honestly really said,” the rapper said of the alleged domestic violence incident after posting the supposed footage. “…I know the easy way out is to leave and that’s better said than done. Foolio‘s mother, Sandrikas, says that she’s working on a documentary about the late rapper following his death, last weekend. In a lengthy statement on Instagram, on Tuesday, she explained that the “real” story is “coming soon” and reflected on her son’s passing. Foolio was shot and killed while celebrating his birthday in Tampa, Florida outside of a Holiday Inn.

“RIP Son … Charles Jones II ‘Foolio'[.] The ‘Real’ Life Story Documentary Coming Soon,” she wrote. “The story that only I can tell because I know the Truths from the Fakes, I think Im the ‘ONLY’ mother that keep it Real while MOST others know dam well what was going on with their OWN sons, this been going on since 2014-2015.”

Sandrikas concluded the message by giving a shout out to the artists that believed in her son from the beginning. She named Zaytoven and Young Thug specifically. “I do wanna THANK those who believed in him at the age of 17when he moved to ATL @rapcoalition, @zaytovenbeatz, especially thuggerthugger1, and others who had a impact on his career,” she added. By constantly promoting the coin, Iggy has fans investing in it, which subsequently increases the value of the crypto. Say what you will about this tactic, but it has certainly worked for some artists.

In fact, it seems like Iggy has some competition. Recently, Hulk Hogan took to Twitter and called her out, saying “You suck at pumping. $HULK has the real milk.” Iggy Azalea then took to the platform and clapped back at Hogan with a photoshopped image of his head over hers. The photo itself is a screengrab from a video of her twerking, which was previously used as a promotion for her coin. As for Hulk Hogan, well, he claims he was hacked, and has since distanced himself from the tweets.

In fact, it even got the mom seal of approval, as his mother took to Instagram to celebrate this distinction.

Metro Boomin is honoring his late mother’s legacy through donations totaling $100,000 to five women-centered nonprofit organizations in his home city of St. Louis, Missouri. “I’ve seen firsthand the work that goes into being a single mother,” he explained in a statement. “Mine was my inspiration and my hero. It’s very important to me to pay it forward, because I see the same resilience and dedication in the women these organizations work with.” Considering the recent drama that the producer experienced with Soulja Boy disrespecting his mother’s memory amid their beef, this is a heartening move that impacts her legacy in a much more positive, actionable, and tangible way.

Furthermore, Metro Boomin teamed up with Rung For Women to cut five $20,000 checks, each for five different organizations. These nonprofits are Almost Home, Diamond Diva Empowerment Foundation, the Haven of Grace, the Little Bit Foundation, and Parents as Teachers. Specifically, these grants will assist women in debt reduction and expenses coverage for necessities like rent, utilities, and childcare. The “BBL Drizzy” beatsmith will likely impact many families and females with these donations, and hopefully he puts in work through advocacy and action that goes beyond money, as well.

Speaking briefly about that beat, it seems like Metro Boomin might have roped Lil Wayne into the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef thanks to a curious post-concert interaction. Regardless, back to the important development here: he raised this donation money during the Leslie Joanne Soirée holiday gathering that Rung held back in December. Not only that, but this organization is Metro’s current fiduciary agent as he prepares to launch his own independent nonprofit foundation. Rung For Women’s mission is to help women climb the economic ladder through opportunities, inspiration, resource distribution, and more.

Moreover, one of the wildest bars on there roped in YNW Melly’s open double murder case, for which he stands accused of taking the life of two of his friends. While that case is still open and he hasn’t received a conviction, K.Dot made a reference to it while referring to J. Cole and Drake: “I pray they my real friends, if not, I’m YNW Melly.” It was one of the sharpest lyrical moments on there as well as having that extra oomph for mentioning another rapper, and a controversial one at that.

Furthermore, YNW Melly actually reacted to this bar from the former TDE MC. ““Kendrick Lamar is one of my favorite rappers so I feel honored and appalled… I’m a household name, just for the wrong s**t!” he remarked in a statement to TMZ. What’s more is that journalist and media figure @LorenLorosa on Twitter spoke with Melly’s mother, who had a similar sentiment. She said that, even though the bar assumes a conviction that isn’t there yet, Kendrick still deserves a shoutout as one of the greats, and that it’s still a big deal to get a name-drop from him with a great bar.
