Kanye West Performs “Runaway” & “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” During DJ Khaled’s Miami Set: Watch

Kanye West’s album rollouts have a reputation for being tumultuous, and so far, Vultures is no exception. Just a few weeks ago it seemed as though we wouldn’t be getting the joint project at all, but more recently, a tracklist landed online, complete with the long-awaited “New Body” and several other titles we can’t wait to hear. Ahead of his listening party on Tuesday (December 12), Ye has been out and about in Miami with his wife, Bianca Censori, and other close friends for Art Basel. The father of four was wandering around sans shoes when cameras caught up with him over the weekend, and he certainly made his presence felt during his surprise appearance with DJ Khaled at LIV Miami on Sunday (December 10).

As TMZ reports, rather than just sticking to his most recent arrivals, West went back in time to perform throwback favourites for his audience. Among them were MBDTF‘s “Runaway,” and Graduation‘s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” both of which had the venue rapping along. Even after being cancelled and condemned by the public all through 2022, the 46-year-old still knows how to charm a crowd.

Elsewhere in Miami, Ye stopped by a local Jamaican restaurant where he rapped “Father Stretch My Hands” along with others dining at the hot spot. Earlier in the weekend, the father of four previewed some upcoming releases at the same joint, including a recently teased track with an iconic (albeit surprising) Backstreet Boys sample. With the Vultures listening event less than 48 hours away, we can’t wait to hear what else Yeezy and Ty Dolla Sign have been cooking up for us.

Rich The Kid Arrested During Bomb Threat In Miami: Report

Rich The Kid recently stayed at the SLS Hotel in South Beach, Miami, where he faced a bizarre and rebellious arrest. Moreover, when he arrived at the building on Sunday night during Art Basel festivities, he found that police surrounded the perimeter, as the responded to an active bomb threat. Thus, no one could enter, and the “Big Pimpin” rapper told officers that he had to reach his hotel room. They maintained that no one could enter while they searched the premises and investigated the threat, and he would have to wait until they finished. But the Queens native wasn’t having it, even after police told him they would arrest him if he tried to get in.

Allegedly, according to what law enforcement told TMZ, he responded to their warning with, “I’ll bond out in 20 minutes.” Then, Rich The Kid went to another corner of the hotel, where the officers he met told him basically the same thing. According to their testimony, he challenged them with, “Stop me,” and jumped the fence. When the “Still Movin’” MC entered SLS, he met a K-9 unit who instructed him to leave, but he refused. Instead, he loitered in the driveway, and police then arrested him and took him in on two misdemeanor charges: trespassing and resisting an officer without violence.

However, this isn’t all that Rich The Kid has to deal with when it comes to being accountable for his actions. During a recent interview with The Shade Room, he reflected on his cheating scandal with fiancée Tori Brixx, for which he had publicly apologized. “I’m fighting for my family,” the 31-year-old shared. “Got to go hard for what you want. She definitely is my family. We been together for, like, six years. I definitely see myself with her for the rest of my life, I’d be a fool to do anything else.”

Meanwhile, the couple came together since then, and seem to be in a much better place. As of writing this article, he doesn’t seem to have addressed this recent arrest on social media. Rather, it turns out that he was just hanging out with someone who looks a lot like Jada Pinkett Smith, if only for her shaved head. There weren’t any real signs of chemistry, PDA, or clear interactions between the two, so keep those rumors to yourself. Given all the drama that emerged around the Smith’s relationship over recent years (particularly months), these kinds of rumors probably won’t slow down. The irony is that Jada’s alopecia is what warrants the comparison to this woman, and is also the core of her husband’s Oscars slap that she believes saved their marriage.

“After all those years trying to figure out if I would leave Will’s side, it took that slap for me to see I will never leave him,” Jada Pinkett Smith told the Daily Mail in an interview published on Saturday (December 9). “Who knows where our relationship would be if that hadn’t happened?” What’s more is that she called Will Smith’s actions towards Chris Rock “the holy slap.” According to the actress, “so many positive things came after it,” and though their relationship isn’t perfect, it’s definitely on an upward trend after a lot of airing out… for better or worse.

However, it’s also interesting that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett aren’t spending that much time together these days. Still, for big things like Thanksgiving and their children performing at the Camp Flog Gnaw festival recently, they present a united front. As such, we’d guess that they probably just have very busy schedules or are prioritizing some “me time” for themselves to balance out their dynamic. Kanye West Goes Shoeless To Miami Night Club To Close Out Art Basel

Kanye West’s style choices continue to cause an uproar, even if in this case, it’s just because of how uncomfortable it looks. Moreover, he was recently spotted in Miami, specifically the night club E11EVEN, early Sunday morning (December 10) at around 2:30AM to participate in the closing Art Basel Miami Beach celebrations. When the Yeezy mogul arrived with his crew, he pulled up with socks– no shoes– to the function, and seemed to blend in with everyone else. Given that he wore a white scarf around his head and went by pretty unnoticed at a back VIP table, it’s clear that, just like for most of the year, he didn’t really want to be seen. The Chicago rapper and his companions were there for less than an hour.

Furthermore, there actually might be an interesting reason for this short stay, according to an alleged Page Six insider. They posited that Bianca Censori only let Kanye West go out for a certain amount of time, which is a curious claim about their dynamic. If you didn’t know, the two faced breakup rumors last month, but it seems they sidestepped all of that. Their relationship has been a rollercoaster to witness, but hopefully things are more stable than they seem just based off scandalous headlines.

However, we can’t forget about another important reason as to why Kanye West is in Miami. Apparently, he and Ty Dolla $ign are throwing a listening party in the city for their new album on Tuesday (December 12) at midnight. Of course, we say “apparently” because various other attempts to perform or play this project fell through. It seems closer than ever, but considering all of Ye’s public controversies and concerning attitudes, it’s still anyone’s guess.

Meanwhile, he also teased some new music recently, so perhaps the collaborative LP is really around the corner. But this is far from the first time that we’ve heard this from the 46-year-old. Kanye West Invites Playboi Carti To Miami Listening Party With Ty Dolla Sign

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s collab album is apparently still in the works despite multiple delays, cancellations, pulled concerts, and more antics. Moreover, apparently the two are hosting a listening party referred to as a “VULTURES RAVE” in Sawgreen Mills in the Miami area, as the shopping center is in Sunrise, Florida. Per social media posts from the singer, it will take place on Tuesday (December 12) at 12AM midnight. As such, it seems like each artist is also taking steps to make sure everyone who they want there will be there. For Ye, that includes a familiar face who he executive-produced an album for three years ago.

Furthermore, Playboi Carti continued his hot streak of social media activity recently by sharing a DM from him. “It’s ye checking in family,” Kanye’s message reads, according to his Whole Lotta Red collaborator’s recent Instagram Story post. “Got your number from wheezy.” Then, he included a screenshot of Ty Dolla $ign’s announcement of this “rave,” which is most likely just a listening party. However, it’s still quite likely that this is just a ruse to put together some other shindig or party, as we don’t know the explicit details of it.

Not only that, but this also brings two album rollouts together, something which only became possible for Kanye West and Playboi Carti this week. For those unaware, the latter fully kicked off his I AM MUSIC campaign, hyping fans up with snippets and a lot of social media interactions with other stars and potential collaborators. As such, it’s no surprise that the Atlanta rage exponent couldn’t help but share the good news from the Chicago rapper. Does this mean that we’ll get both projects at around the same time?

It’s too early to know for sure, but it wouldn’t be a surprising coincidence given that Ye and Carti have worked together before. The anticipation had reached a high point after it was leaked on social media. But now, the cat’s officially out of the bag. And it’s bringing some serious heat. The trailer is a visual feast for GTA enthusiasts. Confirming what many had speculated, the game is indeed set in the iconic Vice City. However, Rockstar Games has thrown in a curveball by introducing the first-ever female protagonist to the series – meet Lucia. Starting off her journey in prison, Lucia’s sassy remark, “bad luck, I guess,” sets the tone for the rollercoaster ride that awaits players.

One standout feature is the game’s embrace of the digital age. The trailer offers glimpses of TikToks and live-streams. This signals that social media will definitely be integrated into this game. It’s a reflection of our modern, interconnected world. Crimes are committed not just on the streets but also captured in the virtual realm. The trailer also provides a sneak peek into the dynamic between Lucia and a male character, hinting at a partnership that goes beyond crime – they seem to be lovers in addition to partners-in-crime. Lucia says towards the end: “The only way we’re gonna get through this is by sticking together and being a team.”

While the trailer leaves us on the edge of our seats, one crucial detail is still shrouded in mystery – the release date. The only nugget of information Rockstar Games dropped is that Grand Theft Auto VI is set to hit screens in 2025. Third Lawsuit Against Diddy Has Rapper Looking Gloomy At Miami Home

The images were captured over the Thanksgiving weekend, which he appeared to spend with three of his children, his mother, and the mother of one of his daughters. Furthermore, the images were published just a few days after the Bad Boy Records founder was hit with a third sexual assault lawsuit filed under New York’s Adult Survivor Act.

In the suit, the anonymous woman claims she went on a date with Diddy in 1991 while attending Syracuse. However, she alleges that Diddy drugged her during dinner, before filming them while he raped her. Furthermore, she claims that she was later made aware that the video of the assault had been shown to and viewed by multiple people. The wave of allegations against Diddy has come after his former long-time partner Cassie released a series of horrific allegations against him in her own suit.

Foxy Brown Voices Support For Diddy

However, not everyone is against Diddy. Foxy Brown has seemingly spoken in defense of Diddy amid the myriad of lawsuits. Brown shared a picture of a text conversation to her Instagram, in which a man named “Darryl Brown” expressed relief that Foxy “didn’t get caught up in that Diddy sh-t”. However, Brown’s response backed the rapper over his accusers. “Dead a– tho, Diddy gave me M’s. For ME, it was the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. DEF JAM X BAD BOY COLLABO. SUPER CHECKMATE,” Brown was seen writing in response.

Brown was featured on Diddy’s 2015 track “Friend” and appears to enjoy a close relationship with him. She is just the most recent person to speak up in defense of Diddy. 50 Cent, who initially came out against Puffy, made a social media post in which he appeared to at least offer some compassion to the producer. “Damn I hope he alright if you cool with him check on him. All joke a side this is a lot,” Fif wrote.

The duo will continue to make their way around the U.S. and Canada until the middle of next month, with notable stops scheduled in Brooklyn, Boston, Toronto, and more. They’ll wrap things up with a performance in Chicago on December 13. Fans have been loving the addition of the “Deli” rapper to Doja’s tour, and they might get the chance to catch her on her own tour sometime in the near future. Earlier this month, the 23-year-old hinted at a new project she has slated for release in 2024, though she’s yet to specify exactly what listeners can expect.

She’s also nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her appearance on Taylor Swift’s “Karma (Remix).”

Yung Miami Denies Shading Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat & Cardi B Collabs

Sadly, much of hip-hop’s media, fandom, and social media activity can’t help but feed into desires for a “catfight” or two. Moreover, femcees often deal with forces that put them against each other, whether that’s a misinterpreted competitive spirit, omissions, or constant comparisons. But a lot of the time, these accusations aren’t reflective of any real conflict or drama: just a chance to stir something up. For an example of this, look no further than the City Girls’ latest interview. While speaking to Cosmopolitan for their ironically named Cheap Shots show, many fans thought that they indirectly disregarded Cardi B, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion.

Specifically, this was during their answer to a question about going through eight female collaborators in their career’s history in as little time as possible. Yung Miami mentioned Kim Petras, Latto, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Muni Long, Ciara, and Lola Brooke in response. “That’s all… I don’t got no more. I think that’s all the female artists,” the podcast host remarked incorrectly due to a slip in memory in that 30-second timeframe. When a behind-the-scenes set worked pointed out Meg and Doja, the Florida duo laughed and moved on, as if to clown themselves for forgetting in the first place.

But Yung Miami is tired of these constant black-and-white expectations to either always shout out artists or combat them. On Twitter, she blasted fans once again for taking her words out of context and aggrandizing them. “We literally had 30 seconds to remember the [people] we collaborated with in the spur of the moment lol,” Caresha expressed on Wednesday (November 15). “It was [supposed] to be fun. Y’all [people] really make up ANYTHING STFU!” If she’s dissing you, you will definitely know for sure.
