Jason Lee Alleges Megan Thee Stallion & Winnie Harlow Fought At Michael Rubin’s Party

Megan Thee Stallion has a lot of gossip floating around her name right now, whether it’s her shooting case involving Tory Lanez or album sales. Of course, she’s always combated these narratives and many others online with a lot of support, but some scandalous stories probably won’t get any sort of explanation. While we can’t really call that when it comes to this next rumor, it wouldn’t be the first time the Houston femcee popped out to address stories like these. The speculation comes from Jason Lee, who recently alleged on his podcast that she fought with Winnie Harlow at a Michael Rubin party. For the record, the timeline on this allegation is unclear.

“Megan, listen, I wish you the best. You seem happy today,” Jason Lee began his remarks on Megan Thee Stallion and Winnie Harlow. “Everybody keeps asking me to release the tea on Megan that I said I was going to release. She got in a fight with Winnie Harlow at Michael Rubin’s party. I don’t have all the full details yet, and I’m waiting on the video. But I’ve texted Megan and Winnie, so there you go. Boom. Have a good weekend. It’s time for thoughts and prayers.”

Jason Lee’s Alleged Tea About Megan Thee Stallion & Winnie Harlow

Maybe we’ll get a video one day, or maybe this allegation from Jason Lee will remain just a stop on the gossip train without confirmation. Regardless, Megan Thee Stallion has more pressing matters to attend. Plies recently issued a copyright infringement lawsuit against her, Cardi B, GloRilla, and Soulja Boy for allegedly taking his instrumental without permission. Meg’s producer clapped back at this legal filing, so we’ll see if it results in anything. Maybe it’s another case in which a quick settlement or reconciliation becomes water under the bridge.

As for Winnie Harlow, this isn’t the first time that she became part of some salacious hip-hop gossip, such as cheating rumors surrounding Offset. But this is all just speculative, and we doubt either will ever address it outright. We’ll see what other narratives and storylines Megan Thee Stallion finds herself in, and whether or not the conversation will ever detoxify a little more.

Plies’ Lawyer Denies Claim That New Lawsuit Is Targeting Black Women

Plies isn’t playing around. The rapper decided to sue a host of superstars on November 6 on the grounds that they unlawfully sampled one of his songs. The superstars named in the copyright infringement suit include Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla and Soulja Boy. Most of the talk surrounding the suit, however, has revolved around Megan and GloRilla. Fans of both artists have flocked to IG comment sections to deride Plies for his perceived attack towards Black women. The backlash has been so severe, in fact, that the rapper’s lawyer has issued a statement.

Aaron J. Thornton assured the public that his client, Plies, has no vendetta against Megan Thee Stallion or GloRilla. He actually wants the labels to pay out, given what he believes is a lack of proper procedure. “This lawsuit isn’t a strategically timed attack against Black women,” Thornton wrote. “Plies has said a lot of meaningful and important things in support of Black women.” The lawyer that posited that the rapper is wanting to be properly compensated by the powers that be. Not the artists who paid tribute to him by allegedly sampling his work.

Plies Claims To Be Fans Of Both Megan And GloRilla

“This is a lawsuit where the first name up who has the actual pockets here is Universal Music Group,” Thornton asserted. “My communication is directed to the record labels, the people who actually own the music.” The lawyer went on to assure fans that Plies has the utmost respect for Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla as artists. “The artists are wonderful artists,” he concluded. “This isn’t an attack on any of these artists.” The lawsuit may have been recently filed, but Plies has already gotten pushback from Megan’s producer, LilJuMadeDaBeat.

Lil Ju made the beat for “Wanna Be,” and he claimed that he actually sampled a Soulja Boy song. “‘My Dougie’ came it in 2006, ‘Me & My Goons’ came in in 2008,” the producer tweeted. “Big E the producer of ‘My Dougie’ credited on ‘Wanna Be.’” LilJuMadeDaBeat’s claim regarding the release dates of these respective songs does call into question the validity of Plies’ claim. The rapper has yet to respond to Lil Ju, however.

Plies Is Reportedly Suing Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, And GloRilla For Alleged Copyright Infringement

Lawsuits pop up just about every day in the music world, it seems, and now “Hawk Tuah” rapper Plies has added to the pile: TMZ reports Plies is suing Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla, and Soulja Boy, naming them in a lawsuit that alleges copyright infringement.

Per legal documents obtained by TMZ, Plies alleges elements of his 2008 song “Me & My Goons” were used in Soulja Boy’s “Pretty Boy Swag,” as well as GloRilla and Megan’s “Wanna Be” (and the Cardi-featuring remix). Named as defendants in the suit are Megan’s Hot Girl Productions, Soulja’s former imprint Collipark Productions, Universal Music Group, Collective Music Group, and Interscope.

“Wanna Be” producer LilJuMadeDaBeat has since chimed in on the lawsuit. His position, as HotNewHipHop notes, is that “Wanna Be” credits its sample to Big E, producer of 2006’s “My Dougie.” He explained, “My Dougie came it in 2006, Me & My Goons came it in 2008. Big E the producer of ‘My Dougie’ is credited on Wanna B. For the Record Pretty Boy Swag is a remake of My Dougie as well. Soulja Boy is on the My Dougie Remix. Me & My Goons literally not even the single for that Plies album.”

So far, nobody else has publicly acknowledged the lawsuit.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Producer Claps Back At Plies Copyright Lawsuit

The world may be processing the U.S. election, but Plies is filing lawsuits. The veteran rapper made waves on November 6 when he sued Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla and Soulja Boy. He alleged that the artists stole elements of his 2008 song “Me & My Goons” without clearing it with him. Plies is seeking damages for this alleged copyright infringement, which also names Megan Thee Stallion’s label Hot Girl Productions and Soulja’s Collipark Productions. Now, however, Megan’s producer is firing back at the rapper.

LilJuMadeDaBeat, the producer behind the Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla song at the heart of the lawsuit, took to social media on Wednesday night. He claimed that “Wanna Be,” the song in question, properly credits its sample to Big E. Lil Ju noted that Plies’ song came out in 2008, while “My Dougie,” the Soulja Boy song also named in the suit, came out in 2006. The producer claims that the original of the song elements is actually Big E, the man who produced Soulja’s single. “‘My Dougie’ came it in 2006, ‘Me & My Goons’ came in in 2008,” he tweeted. “Big E the producer of ‘My Dougie’ credited on ‘Wanna Be.’”

Lil Ju took things a step further by poking additional holes in Plies’ lawsuit. Megan Thee Stallion’s producer noted that Soulja Boy’s “Pretty Boy Swag” is also a remake of “My Dougie.” He also claimed the Plies song in question doesn’t even derive from the album Plies said it did. “‘Me & My Goons literally not even the single from that Plies album,” he posited. The producer raises some compelling points, in so much as Plies couldn’t sue Soulja Boy if Soulja’s song came out before his. Furthermore, Lil Ju appears to be confident that he covered his bases in terms of his own sample credits.

It makes sense that Plies would want a chunk of “Wanna Be,” however. The single was everywhere when it dropped in April. It peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it GloRilla’s biggest single as a lead artist to date. It also proved to be another smash for Megan Thee Stallion after “HISS” topped the charts in January. The song even received a remix featuring Cardi B.

Maybe Plies is still hot over Kamala losing the election.

Nobody really knows what prompted the Florida rapper to come for the hottest female rappers in the game, but no one’s neck was left unchecked. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Plies has filed copyright infringement lawsuits today (November 6) against Megan, Glo and Cardi for their unauthorized use of his 2008 “Me & My Goons” track. Big Draco also felt the wrath too, for his unauthorized use of the same track on his Soulja Boy anthem “Pretty Boy Swag”.

Megan and GloRilla’s collaboration on “Wanna Be” did numbers this year, sparking a summertime remix with Cardi B, but now Plies names all of the above in his lawsuit. Soulja’s use of the song dates back to 2010, but that didn’t make him exempt from the “Bust It Baby” rapper’s legal wrath.

Plies’lawsuit names Meg’s Hot Girl Productions, Soulja’s former imprint Collipark Productions as well as Universal Music Group, Collective Music Group and Interscope as defendants.

Megan Thee Stallion Shows Fans Everything’s “Bigger In Texas” In New Twerk Session Vid

Everything is “Bigger In Texas,” and Megan Thee Stallion sought to prove that with a new video twerking to her latest hit. Of course, some people never liked this content or think she plays into it too much, but it doesn’t make it any less skillful or lust-inducing. Also, it’s part of the Houston femcee’s expression and a way to engage with fans, whether showing them how it’s done or giving them something to enjoy amid a lot of other tough times in her life and career. She recently dropped the In Her Words documentary, which goes over a lot of heavy moments such as taking her mother off life support.

“They had to put her under, and she was just brain dead,” Megan Thee Stallion emotionally recalled during her documentary. “I stayed up there every day… just praying that she could shake back from it. But once I realized she wasn’t coming back, I knew I couldn’t keep her like this. I had to make the decision to pull the plug, and she passed the next day. […] When my mama passed away, I think I really forgot who I was. I lost a lot of confidence because I was so used to my mama telling me what to do. And when life started getting crazy, I didn’t have her.”

Megan Thee Stallion Twerks To “Bigger In Texas”

Despite the hardships, Megan Thee Stallion continues to promote a great time with her other forms of social media presence. A clip recently surfaced of her and Dreezy dancing quite provocatively at a Halloween party, and their costumes were also on point. The game of contrasts is a rough one to maintain with conviction, but Meg is able to enjoy herself and share her important statements and beliefs fruitfully.

Meanwhile, controversy continues to ensue concerning the shooting case of Tory Lanez. Whether or not you take his side or Megan Thee Stallion’s, you can’t deny that the combative back-and-forth extended far beyond the conviction in an excessive manner. The Canadian artist currently seeks appeal, and the court will determine whether or not he will get that second chance. But we have to wait and see.

Megan Thee Stallion & Dreezy Get Sensual & Sultry In Wild Halloween Party Clip

Megan Thee Stallion and Dreezy turned heads with their striking Halloween costumes at a party this week, but also due to their unafraid and sensual dances. The former started to grind on top of the latter as onlookers cheered on, turning up the lust and eliminating any doubt that they were having a great time. Meg in particular’s had a great Halloween, popping out in a Starfire costume whose homage to the Teen Titans even got DC’s James Gunn’s approval. Dreezy was also really enjoying herself, and we can only wonder what other shenanigans and free spirits roamed the Hallows’ Eve festivities.

Elsewhere, Megan Thee Stallion recently released her hard-hitting In Her Words documentary, which contains some very heavy and intimate moments. “They had to put her under, and she was just brain dead,” she remembered about the painful moment she realized that she had to take her mother off life support.

Megan Thee Stallion & Dreezy At Halloween Party

However, the documentary also held some other controversial moments regarding the shooting case involving Tory Lanez. For example, Megan Thee Stallion admitted, in part, to lying about her sexual relationship with him to Gayle King during their interview. It caused a lot of debate amid an already volatile and contentious situation.

Meanwhile, Dreezy recently came between Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders concerning some salacious relationship claims, but not much else has happened with that debacle since then. She and Megan Thee Stallion were able to leave it all behind for this Halloween party, and that’s got to be worth something. Just be careful what clip of their costumes you show to your pals.

Slim Thug Sides with Megan Thee Stallion, Calls Tory Lanez and Others Lame

Slim Thug has let his allegiance be known in the divisive drama between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez, clearly siding with Megan and calling Lanez and other men who hurt women “lame” amongst other insults.

Slim took to Instagram Live on Friday and shared his thoughts on the matter in a minute and a half long video in which he clearly expressed support for his fellow Houston artist.

In the video, which can be seen on @livebitez on X, Slim sits in his car and speaks to the camera while rolling an unknown substance.

He says:

“You n***as oughta be ashamed of ya’ll self for hating on Thee Stallion. I wanted to give her a big a** hug after I watched that,” Slim said in the clip below. Man, she been through a lot. Slim Thug Defends Megan Thee Stallion After She Lied During ABC Interview

Megan Thee Stallion has come under fire. Again. The rapper opened up about the incident in which she was shot by Tory Lanez during her recent documentary In Her Words. Fans were expecting to delve into the rapper’s trauma regarding the shooting. What they found instead, was an instance in which Megan Thee Stallion admitted that she lied. She admits that she played fast and loose with the truth during her ABC interview with Gayle King in 2022. The internet is angry, but Slim Thug is coming to her defense.

To be clear, Megan Thee Stallion stated, point blank, that she lied to Gayle King. “Yes, b*tch. I lied to Gayle King, b*tch,” she said in the documentary. I f*cked the n**ga like once, maybe twice, on a drunk night. You kept catching me out of my f*cking mind.” The internet was up in arms over this revelation, especially given the fact that Lanez is currently serving a decade in prison. Megan Thee Stallion’s rep has already been a controversial topic, but the haters have come out of woodwork on this. Slim Thug, conversely, felt that Megan was being judged too harshly.

Slim Thug Criticized Gayle King’s Line Of Questioning

Slim Thug asserted that most people would have kept the details of their sexual past to themselves. “Who the f*ck want to say who they slept with on ABC News,” he asked his followers. “Nobody wanna say that.” Slim Thug proceeded to call out Gayle King for her invasion line of questioning. “That’s the dumbest sh*t for her to ask her anyway,” he posited. The rapper then pointed the finger at fans who’ve attacked Megan Thee Stallion in the wake of this revelation. He called her critics “stupid” and told them it was none of her business what she did behind closed doors.

This is not the first time Slim Thug has voiced his admiration for Megan Thee Stallion. The rapper got on stage with Megan during a June concert in Texas. He proceeded to shoot his shot at Meg on Instagram. He posted a video of the two of them performing “Still Tippin” with the caption: “What yall think I got a chance or naw?” Slim Thug also made a cameo in the music video for Megan Thee Stallion’s new single “Bigger In Texas.” It’s clear these two get along, so it makes sense that Thugger would offer his support.
