Machine Gun Kelly And Mod Sun’s Widely Panned Film ‘Good Mourning’ Finally Won An Award… A Razzie

Good Mourning was definitely one of the movies of 2022. Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun’s comedy flick did not do well: It earned just $21,348 at the box office and currently has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 0 percent. With stats like that, naturally, it earned some nominations at the Golden Raspberry Awards 2023 (aka the Razzies), which honor the worst cinematic achievements of the year. MGK and Sun went home with one of them, too, winning the Razzie for Worst Director.

The movie was also nominated for Worst Picture (which Blonde won) and Worst Screenplay (also Blonde), while other Good Mourning nominations included MGK for Worst Actor (Jared Leto in Morbius), Pete Davidson and Mod Sun getting individual nods for Worst Supporting Actor (Tom Hanks in Elvis), and MGK and Sun for Worst Screen Couple (Tom Hanks and His Latex-Laden Face (and Ludicrous Accent) in Elvis).

This is just the latest bad news Mod Sun has received lately (and by far the least significant), as it was reported that he and then-fiancée Avril Lavigne had split up. That turned out to be true, as Sun wrote in a late-February Instagram post, “In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken [broken heart emoji] Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage.”

Machine Gun Kelly And Mod Sun Win Worst Director Razzies Award For “Good Mourning”

The Razzie Awards, which took place this weekend, are the annual ceremony that celebrates the worst in film. They are the opposite of the Oscars and host their show around the same time as the Academy’s glamorous event. This year markedly saw Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun taking home the dubious honor of worst directors of the year for their movie Good Mourning. The film stars Colson Baker as an actor, with his real-life BFF playing his on-screen friend. It also stars Megan Fox, who is in a turbulent relationship with MGK.

The movie remains a commercial failure. It received next to no positive reviews, and many have called it a complete mess. The recording artist’s project also only made $21,348 after a short time in the theaters. Now the directors of the film get to take home an appropriate award for their directing skills. While the movie Blonde beat Good Mourning for the worst movie, it appears Andrew Dominik did a better job at directing. Aside from the aforementioned award, MGK was also nominated for the worst actor in his movie. However, he was beaten by Jared Leto.

MGK And Mod Sun Win At Losing

Machine Gun Kelly got his start in acting in 2018 and directing in 2021. His first time behind the camera was his latest venture with Mod Sun. The two seem to enjoy working on movies together, as they reunited on Good Mourning after their previous film, Downfalls High. The latter has a much better reputation than their current “award-winning” release. The former arrived in 2021 and is a dramatic musical that showcases Baker’s musical capabilities.

Along with MGK and Mod Sun, there are many others that joined the pair in winning awards this weekend – and not at the Oscars. Disney’s Pinocchio won worst remake, while Jared Leto and Tom Hanks won worst actor and supporting actor for their appearances in Morbius and Elvis, respectively. Currently, neither of the Good Mourning directors has commented publicly on their new and unflattering accolades. Make sure to check back in later as reactions to the Razzie Awards continue to pour in.

Megan Fox & Sophie Lloyd Show Love To Each Other Amid MGK Cheating Allegations

Many were celebrating the Super Bowl with wild shenanigans in Arizona last weekend. At the same time, the engaged couple found themselves in the midst of a serious feud. It still remains unclear exactly what lead to their blowout. Presently, the Transformers actress is doing her part to dispel any cheating rumours.

It all began when Fox markedly removed all evidence of the recording artist from her Instagram. Their romantic (and sometimes scandalous) photos were replaced with lyrics from Beyoncé’s LEMONADE. After being bombarded with comments from pop culture enthusiasts, she deleted her profile entirely. This left the world to speculate about the status of her engagement.

Megan Addresses MGK Infidelity Rumours

She sit back and let the drama unfold for a few days, but this past weekend, the mother of three made a return to social media. On Sunday (February 19), Fox chiefly shut down any gossip regarding infidelity in a screenshot from her notes app. “There has been no third-party interference in this relationship of any kind,” she assured followers.

“You need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now,” she later pleaded with gossip bloggers and internet trolls. As the rumour mill rapidly turned last week, Lloyd’s team issued a statement condemning the allegations against her and the “Wild Boy” artist. Fox is also doing her part to stop the hate from spewing, dropping by the musician’s comment section to send her some advice and words of love. “How me making a joke in order to absolve this girl of a hurtful accusation somehow turned into a confirmation of it – I will never understand,” she wrote.

“Why are people so…so dumb,” she went on before praising her partner’s tour mate for her insane talent. “Welcome to Hollywood. Your first unwarranted PR disaster. You have now been baptized by the flames of fame,” Fox then teased Lloyd. “It only gets worse from here, unfortunately. Just ignore it as much as you can. [Heart emoji] middle finger up.”

Megan Fox Denies Machine Gun Kelly Cheating Rumours During Instagram Return

For over a week now, Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox’s relationship has been at the centre of pop culture discourse. In the midst of their trip to Arizona for Super Bowl weekend, the pair began sparking breakup rumours. They’ve continued to circulate in recent days thanks to the actresses’ sudden disappearance from social media. On Sunday (February 19), she answered our prayers by dropping off an updated explanation for all the drama.

Earlier this afternoon, the Transformers leading lady shared a screenshot from her notes app with fans. “There has been no third-party interference in this relationship of any kind,” her message began. It sounds as though Fox is attempting to shut down recent headlines suggesting that shady DMs on the recording artist’s phone are what lead to their feud.

“That includes, but is not limited to, actual humans, DMs, AI bots, or succubus demons,” she went on to say. Besides the gossip about the mother of three coming across concerning content on MGK’s cell, some were also speculating that he may have hooked up with Sophie Lloyd, his blonde and beautiful guitarist. Those allegations are being shot down on the musician’s end. It appears Fox’s post is hoping to do the same.

The model then addressed the media. They’ve been frantically and frequently spilling unverified tea on the status of her engagement. “While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now,” she wrote to gossip bloggers.

Fox made sure to limit the comments on her new post. At this time, she hasn’t followed Kelly back on Instagram. Prior to deleting her account last week, she gave Eminem a follow. That’s obviously since been revoked as her count is now back to zero. Her update didn’t exactly address the status of things with her fiancé, though a source recently confirmed that they both hope to work through things together.

“Megan is still upset but is not giving up on their relationship,” the insider told PEOPLE over the weekend. “He feels the same way. They are getting professional help because they want things to work out. She is with him because she believes it’s a long-term relationship… There are trust issues and this causes conflicts right now. Megan is taking one day at a time.” Check back later for any updates on Fox and MGK’s situation.

Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly Drama Caused By Shady Texts & DMs On Singer’s Phone: Report

The status of Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox’s relationship remains in limbo. Thankfully, more details regarding last weekend’s massive blowout are now surfacing online. As you may recall, the pair began Super Bowl weekend on a high note as the singer performed for excited crowds. By Sunday (February 12), all traces of him were gone from his fiancée’s Instagram account.

Besides this obvious clue that trouble was afoot, we also saw the Transformers actress unfollow her beau. She then replaced his name with Hollywood heartthrobs like Harry Styles and Timothee Chalamet, also making sure to follow MGK’s known enemy, Eminem. To add fuel to the fire, she shared a video of a burning envelope. The caption was lyrics about “dishonesty” from Beyoncé’s LEMONADE album.

Immediately, many internet sleuths began speculating that cheating was the reason for the pair’s problems. Before deleting her IG account, Fox responded to some of these claims. Specifically, ones pointing towards Kelly hooking up with his guitarist, Sophie Lloyd. In the days since the gossip began circulating, the musician’s management team has spoken out in her defence.

“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue,” they told Page Six. “It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.” Lloyd may be innocent in this case, but the latest update on the engaged lovers reveals that the mother of three allegedly found troubling messages on her man’s phone last weekend.

Insiders close to the situation say that Fox uncovered “DMs and text messages.” These are leading her to “believe he has been having an affair.” No names came out along with the gossip. Still, we do know that the 36-year-old and MGK have been attending couples therapy in hopes of working through their issues. “Megan is seeing where they stand. She wants to see what they can salvage,” the industry source says.

Kelly apparently “really wants to make up” with his partner. They’ve been together since meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass back in 2020. They were engaged in January 2022. Kelly proposed with a stunning ring apparently containing thorns on the inside, causing the actress pain if she were to remove it. Interestingly, she was hurt enough by Kelly’s dishonesty that taking off her band felt like the right decision. Read more about that here, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Machine Gun Kelly & Megan Fox “Not Giving Up On Their Relationship,” Sources Say She’s “Still Upset”

Anyone who’s been celebrating the rumoured separation of Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly may want to think about clicking “delete tweet.” According to PEOPLE, the embattled lovers aren’t quite ready to call it quits yet. However, the former is still seriously upset about what happened over Super Bowl weekend. At this time, the public is missing the intimate details of the pair’s feud, though rumours of the singer cheating with his guitarist were running rampant.

“Megan is still upset but is not giving up on their relationship,” a source tells the outlet today (February 17). “He feels the same way. They are getting professional help because they want things to work out.” Earlier this week, before Valentine’s Day, they were attending therapy together. Following a lengthy session, paparazzi cameras caught them leaving separately, the emotion evident on Fox’s face.

After removing all traces of Kelly from her Instagram feed, following his enemies, and quoting Beyoncé’s LEMONADE album, the mother of three took down her entire profile. By that point, the internet already began piecing the puzzle together. Updates claiming that the Transformers starlet stopped wearing her engagement ring certainly didn’t help the breakup gossip. Even with the dramatic display of emotion, though, an insider points out that “she was never one to casually date.”

“She is with him because she believes it’s a long-term relationship. She isn’t just gonna give up on their relationship,” they added. “There are trust issues and this causes conflicts right now. Megan is taking one day at a time.” The pair first met in 2020 while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass. They later announced their engagement in January 2022, though it remains unclear when the wedding will take place.

Outside of the troubles in her love life, Fox has a lot to look forward to regarding her acting career. Filming is complete on Johnny & Clyde, and Naya Legend of the Golden Dolphin and The Expendables 4 are in post-production. This leaves her to focus all of her energy on Subservience, an upcoming sci-fi thriller.

Megan will star alongside 365 Days lead Michele Marrone in the project. It finds her playing a robot helping out a single father, though things ultimately take a dark turn. Check out the new look she’ll seemingly be sporting in the movie here, and come back later for more pop culture news updates.
