Lil Uzi

In a new video, Lil Uzi Vert recently displayed a new tattoo of an inverted crucifix on his tongue. Fans believe the inverted cross is satanic or demonic, however, the upside-down cross has a different historical origin. Lil Uzi Vert’s Newest Tattoo May Push The Boundaries Of Good Taste

Lil Uzi Vert is almost as well known for their outrageous style and tattoos as they are for their infectious hit records like “Futsal Shuffle” and “Just Wanna Rock.” For a while, Uzi walked around with a massive pink diamond in the middle of their forehead, although it kept getting yanked out, prompting Uzi to let the spot heal up.

Still, that blank canvas wasn’t going unused; Uzi debuted a new forehead piercing in a video posted by a fan on social media. However, you might not immediately notice it thanks to Uzi’s other new piercing, which also gets prominently displayed in the video. This one just might push the boundaries of good taste — sorry, I’m not sorry. The tattoo is on Uzi’s tongue, and you want me NOT to write a pun about it? This might not be the site for you, buddy.

As you can see, the new tat fits pretty neatly into Uzi’s well-established motif of provocative/borderline sacrilegious imagery and fascination with occult iconography. The inverted cross, also referred to as the “Cross of Saint Peter” or “Petrine Cross,” was originally a traditionally Catholic symbol associated with the martyrdom of Peter the Apostle. However, it was later coopted occult leaders and became more commonly recognized as a satanic symbol — which Uzi has no problem displaying.

He might not beat the Satanist allegations anytime soon thanks to this new tat, but with his Pink Tape being finalized, fans will likely be too busy with new music to do much witch-hunting.

Lil Uzi Vert Is ‘Finalizing’ His Long-Awaited Album ‘The Pink Tape,’ According To DJ Drama

Lil Uzi Vert is “finalizing” his long-awaited album The Pink Tape, according to Generation Now founder DJ Drama. During an interview with LA radio Justin Credible on the latter’s podcast, Drama noted that “[Uzi] and [Don] Cannon have been hard at work” on the highly anticipated project, revealing, “They’re just in the process of finalizing the final sequencing and tracklisting of the project.”

Uzi first began teasing the prospect of The Pink Tape shortly after releasing Eternal Atake and its followup, Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World 2, in 2021. However, Uzi quickly announced that the album would be delayed to ensure that it didn’t “suck,” and instead released an EP, Red & White, to hold fans over until the album was completed. During Uzi’s set at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles last month, Uzi said that the wait for new music wouldn’t be as long as the wait for Eternal Atake, so at least we know The Pink Tape should be along sometime before 2026.

In the meantime, Uzi has been squeezing all the juice out of the Jersey club hit, “Just Wanna Rock,” performing it everywhere from the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards to Wrestlemania. Check out the full Justin Credible interview below.

Lil Uzi Vert Shows Off New Tongue Tattoo

Lil Uzi Vert is one of the most unique rappers out right now. One of the ways Uzi shows off their creativity is through body art. Indeed, with more than 50 tats on his body, Uzi easily ranks as one of the most inked-up rappers today. However, their artwork has often proved controversial in the past. Now, the 27-year-old is showing off their newest ink. Once again, the tattoo is raising eyebrows with fans.

A Twitter user named Uziawge posted a photo of the tattoo. The tat is located on Uzi’s tongue and features an image of an upside-down cross. Moreover, Uzi previously revealed a similar tattoo on his forehead. However. this tattoo is difficult to clearly make out in the video. Additionally, the tweet clips GangaTattoo, who likely did the tattoo. This is the same artist who performed Uzi’s incredible full-body tat. That piece took more than 16 hours to complete and cost Uzi a cool $100,000.

Uzi’s Newest Ink Causes Controversy

Although some fans were quick to praise the bold new artwork, others have taken offense to what they consider Satanic themes. Some comments have called the artwork blasphemous. Moreover, former Northern Illinois football player Boomer Mays responded to the photo by tweeting “The devil is hard at work.” Additionally, the tattoo has further fueled conspiracy theories against Uzi. Like many musicians, Uzi has been accused by conspiracy theorists of selling his soul to become famous. Additionally, Uzi has been accused of using Satanic themes in his music. However, the Philadelphia rapper has repeatedly denied this.

Uzi has been open about their love of tattoos over the years. They famously got matching tattoos with Steve Lacy and Kanye West. Although their initial concern was only getting ink, they quickly grew an interest in creating tattoos. Subsequently, Uzi was shown giving a fan a tattoo of an anarchy symbol last week. Meanwhile, fans of Uzi are eagerly awaiting the release of his new album The Pink Tape. Initially, the album was slated to be released last December. However, the project has been repeatedly delayed. Uzi says the project is currently in its final stages. We can’t wait for him to show off his new music along with his artwork.

Drake Premieres New Lil Uzi Vert Collab, “At The Gates,” On “SOUND 42”: Listen

Drake’s last album, Her Loss, is only a few months old, but already, the father of one is teasing plenty more new music from his arsenal. On New Music Friday (April 7), he delivered the highly anticipated “Search & Rescue,” on which he seemingly threw shade at Kanye West by sampling audio of Kim Kardashian. Despite the gossip, his father, Dennis Graham, maintains that Drizzy wasn’t trying to start any drama with the song, which has been a hot topic on social media so far this weekend.

Following that, the Canadian debuted another single on Sirius XM’s SOUND 42 radio. This one finds him collaborating with Lil Uzi Vert and was previously teased back in late 2021, though it has yet to arrive on DSPs. Called “At The Gates,” fans who have heard the previously released preview have been desperately waiting for its official arrival. It remains unclear when – or if – Drake plans to drop it, though playing it on the air is a strong signal we can expect it sooner rather than later.

SOUND 42 Debuts Drake and LUV’s “At The Gates”

On the chorus, LUV raps, “F*ck a wrap, I just got my whips all painted, ayy / Bitches fainted, I forgot that I was famous, ayy.” Following that comes Champagne Papi’s verse, on which he appears to throw more shade at Ye by mentioning Skete, the father of four’s prior nickname for his ex-wife’s old boyfriend, Pete Davidson. Elsewhere Drake adds, “If we on a island then you know it’s not no Coney shit / No it’s not no Staten shit, I ain’t on no phony shit.”

Stream Drake and Lil Uzi Vert’s unreleased “At The Gates” collab on YouTube above. Afterward, let us know if you’ll be adding the track to your playlist when it finally lands on DSPs in the comments. Lil Uzi Vert Can Add Tattoo Artist To His Resume After He Tattooed The Anarchy Symbol On A Man

Lil Uzi Vert is kind of a rarity in the rap business, a rapper who just… raps. They’re not a multihyphenate, they haven’t jumped into other industries in an effort to diversify their revenue streams (at least, not as obviously as their contemporaries have), and for now, it seems that they dedicates most of their time to making and performing music as their primary occupation. If the name wasn’t taken (and an SEO nightmare) they could be called “Lil Uzi Vert The Rapper.”

But they could, in theory, add another job to their resume: Tattoo artist.

A video popped up online depicting Uzi patronizing the 6 Skulls tattoo shop in New York City, a shop they frequent for their own piercings and tattoos. However, this time rather than receiving some new ink, they were the one applying it to New York artist Joseph Grazi (according to the caption). It wasn’t a very complicated piece — a small anarchy “A” on the left shoulder — but it appears to come out pretty cleanly, and the customer seems to be having a great time. You can check out the video below.

Lil Uzi Vert had a busy weekend. Before appearing in North Carolina for Dreamville Festival, he was in Los Angeles for Wrestlemania 39. Lil Uzi performed “Just Wanna Rock” before the now former world tag team champion Usos had their match.

After the match, Lil Uzi spoke with WWE and revealed that he didn’t just want to perform but also wrestle.

“I can’t believe I’m here, I can’t believe I saw so many people that I always wanted to see my whole life,” said Uzi. “I wanted to get in the ring, I was ready to get in the ring. But you’ll see me in April, Philadelphia 2024, so I don’t wanna give up all the surprises. But you’ll see me there.”

Drake Brought Out 21 Savage, GloRilla, Lil Uzi Vert, And Lil Wayne During His Dreamville Festival Set

Drake and J. Cole may have been billed as co-headliners of Dreamville Festival Sunday night but Drake’s portion of the set turned into a mini-festival of its own as he brought out a plethora of special guests to round out the show. Amid a hit-strewn set that saw Drake bring out fan favorites spanning all the way back to his debut album, the Canadian superstar still found space to surprise fans with some familiar faces.

First, he introduced the crowd to breakout Memphis star GloRilla, who performed her viral hit “FNF (Let’s Go).” Then, without warning, Lil Uzi Vert appeared, sporting a relatively low-key look (for Lil Uzi Vert), prompting performances of “XO Tour Llif3” and “Just Wanna Rock.” As Drake performed his 2011 party cut “The Motto,” his Young Money boss Lil Wayne popped out to contribute not just his verse from the song but also performances of “Uproar” and “A Milli.”

Then, before wrapping things up, Drake invited his Her Loss collaborator 21 Savage to the stage to perform a pair of their joint tracks, “Knife Talk” and “Rich Flex.”

As his set came to a close, Drake was joined by J. Cole, and the pair spent the last few minutes of the festival showing their appreciation for each other (again) before J. Cole closed things out with his fan-favorite hit “No Role Modelz.”
