Lil Durk Breaks His Own Record With “Almost Healed” Chart Debut

Lil Durk has achieved another significant sales milestone in his rapidly growing career. His latest album, Almost Healed, has made an incredibly strong debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. According to Billboard, the album entered the chart at No. 3 in its first week, accumulating 125,000 album-equivalent units. Out of this total, 122,000 units were generated from 167.82 million on-demand official streams. The other 3,000 units came from track equivalent albums and pure album sales. This achievement marks the highest-selling week for Lil Durk as a solo artist. It surpassed the already impressive performance of his previous album, 7220, which opened with 120,500 units in March of last year.

However, this still does not surpass Lil Durk’s most successful project. The rapper’s most successful commercial project to date remains his joint album with Lil Baby, The Voice of the Heroes. That album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with an impressive 150,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. Still, the new album is an impressive showing from the rapper. In addition to his spot on the Billboard 200, Lil Durk is anticipated to make a significant impact on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. All 21 tracks from Almost Healed are projected to land on the chart, according to Talk of the Charts. The song “Stand By Me,” featuring Morgan Wallen, is expected to have the highest debut. Currently, Durk’s collaboration with J. Cole on “All My Life” holds a spot in the top 10.

Lil Durk Gives Back

Lil Durk has made no secret of his desire to do good recently. Whether it’s for his fans or the community, he wants to give back. In a heartwarming gesture towards his devoted fan base, Durk demonstrated his generosity by reaching out to a homeless fan. The fan had gained attention for watching the “All My Life” music video using a projector inside a tent. As such, Durk wanted to make a positive and lasting impact on the fan’s life. To say thank you, the rapper provided him with a hotel room for 30 days. Additionally, he gave him a mobile phone, gift cards, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Durk expressed his intentions during an Instagram Live video while driving around Los Angeles. In the video, he stated, “I want to do something real special. I got kindness in my heart, right?” Then, he located the homeless man and approached him in person. “You know you were playing the video on the screen, ‘All My Life.’ You know that’s me featuring J. Cole?” Durk said to the man. “So look, I got you a room for 30 days, I’ma give you a couple of dollars, I’ma give you gift cards, and I’ma give you a phone for showing support.” Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates on Durk and all things hip-hop.

Lil Durk Seeks Solace In His Own Company In His New Video For ‘Sad Songs’

Lil Durk‘s new album, Almost Healed, is proving to be one of the buzziest projects of the year. On the album, Durk opens up about love, loss, and a rough upbringing. One of the album’s standout tracks, “Sad Songs” encapsulates the themes of the entire project.

On the song, Durk seeks to right his wrongs, even if some of them were things he can’t take back.

“I know how it feel to be lied on / This ain’t gangster sh*t in my headphones, this a sad song / I can’t vent to you on a text message, it’s real wrong,” Durk rap-sings on one of the song’s verses.

In the accompanying video, Durk is seen alone in his home, as the rain pours down outside of the windows.

Over the years, Durk has not shied away from talking about his emotions. In a recent interview in XXL, he revealed that he sees a therapist.

“You know, it don’t just gotta be ‘I’m finna go take all these drugs, or I’m finna go get my feelings like this’ I got my family, I got my girl, I got a therapist, I got my kids and I got the studio,” he said.

You can see the video for “Sad Songs” above.

Lil Durk Gave A Homeless Man Money, A Phone, And A 30-Day Hotel Stay After He Went Viral Watching Durk’s Video

Lil Durk’s mission to be the voice of the people continues. After the Chicago rapper donated money to a scholarship fund and met with the city’s new mayor to discuss “saving kids’ lives,” he got more up-close-and-personal with his latest act of philanthropy, finding and helping a homeless man who recently went viral. The man had appeared in a video watching Durk’s “All My Life” music video with J. Cole in his tent, prompting Durk to locate him and try to help out.

In a video on Instagram that is now making the rounds on Twitter, Durk says, “I want to do something real special out the kindness of my heart. The homeless guy who was playing ‘All My Life’ in the tent. I found him. Finna pull up on him.” The man, who was sleeping on the streets of Los Angeles, tells Durk his name is Pedro; Durk tells Pedro, “I got you a room for 30 days. I’ma give you a couple of dollars. I’ma give you a gift card and I’ma give you a phone for showing support.”

Durk’s run of philanthropy was called promotion for his new album Almost Healed by some cynical fans, but he insists that he doesn’t need to use acts of kindness to promote his music. After all, that’s what social media is for; earlier this week, Durk teased the deluxe edition of the album, which he says will feature similar vibes to his fan-favorite 2020 album, The Voice.

On Wednesday (May 31), Lil Durk live-streamed himself on Instagram visiting a homeless man in Los Angeles who went viral on TikTok last month for playing Durk’s “All My Life” video with J. Cole on a projector screen inside a sidewalk tent.

Looking to help out this man who has fallen on some hard times, Lil Durk rewarded the man with a hotel room for a month, a cell phone, gift cards, and an unspecified amount of cash.

“I want to do something real special. I got kindness in my heart, right?” Smurk said during his Instagram Live broadcast while driving around L.A. “So the homeless guy that was playing ‘All My Life’ in the tent, I found him and I’ma pull up on him. I got him a hotel room for him. You never know what people are going through. I’m finna walk up to him, let’s get it.”

While Durk did live stream, he gave the man some respect by asking him first if he was Ok being on camera. Durk then positioned him in the frame and asked him his name.  “Pedro,” the man replied.

Durk has made headlines recently with his streak of good deeds. In April, the 30-year-old partnered with Amazon Music to launch the Durk Banks Endowment Fund to help two lucky students attend Howard University in Washington, D.C.The two students were each given a $50,000 scholarship to the prestigious HBCU and were selected from 20 participants in Durk’s Neighborhood Heroes HBCU College & Career Readiness Cohort Program. He also announced he’d be donating $250,000 to Howard’s GRACE Grant, a program created to help students needing tuition assistance.

Lil Durk Inspires Fan To Convert To Islam

Lil Durk has had a profound impact on one of his devoted fans from Africa. Apparently, the fan recently converted to Islam after being inspired by the rapper’s music. He shared the viral video on Instagram. It showed the fan dressed in an all-white thobe. In the clip, he performed a symbolic act of cleansing himself. The video also features an OTF (Only The Family) wall decal, representing Lil Durk’s rap group. The fan’s video includes the track “Pelle Coat” from Lil Durk’s latest album, Almost Healed.

In the song, Durk sings about his faith. The rapper asks for forgiveness and expresses his desire to be closer to his children and protect his friends. When Lil Durk learned of the fan’s conversion, he expressed his appreciation on his Instagram stories. There, he stated that such moments make him feel good and believe that everything happens for a reason. Lil Durk has previously touched on his Muslim faith through his music. He has even been seen wearing Islamic attire in some of his music videos. You can see the video of Lil Durk’s fan that was inspired to join Islam below.

Durk Advises Fans Not To Trust Just Anyone

Lil Durk recently took to Instagram to remind people of the importance of being cautious and selective when it comes to trusting others. In a story posted a few days ago, the rapper emphasized that the dynamics of the streets have changed. Futhermore, he says not everyone can be considered a reliable friend or family. The exact reason behind Durk’s message remains unclear, but it resonated with many commenters who expressed agreement. Interestingly, Durk has formed a newfound friendship with collaborator Morgan Wallen. The two joined forces on a track for Durk’s album and even enjoyed a fishing trip together. Despite any trust issues Durk may be grappling with, his fans remain devoted to him, willing to demonstrate their unwavering support.

The album Almost Healed has received an incredibly strong reception. It has some fans turning to new religions. Others have taken the extraordinary step of permanently immortalizing it through tattoos of the album’s cover art. Many may may view this decision as extreme. Still, others may interpret it as a profound gesture of significance. At the very least, the level of craftsmanship and artistic talent displayed in the tattoos is remarkable. Many of them seem to be able to flawlessly capturing the intricate details of the album’s cover art with astonishing realism. Opting for a tattoo is a bold choice, to be sure. However, the exceptional execution of the artwork likely justifies the decision for these particular fans. What do you think of Lil Durk’s influence on his fans? Sound off in the comments!

Moneybagg Yo Reveals “Hard To Love” Tracklist Featuring Lil Durk, Future, & GloRilla

Moneybagg Yo is gearing up for the release of his new mixtape titled Hard to Love. Earlier today, he unveiled the tracklist for the project, which reveals exciting collaborations with artists like Future and Lil Durk. The mixtape is set to contain a total of 20 songs and is scheduled to drop this Friday (June 2). As if features from Future and Lil Durk weren’t enough, Hard to Love will also include appearances from GloRilla, Fridayy, YTB Fatt, and Shot Off.

Originally, Moneybagg Yo had planned to release Hard to Love last Friday (May 26). However, he delayed it only hours before the release. The rapper mentioned that he had to delay the release due to his love of Taylor Swift. The pop star released the deluxe edition of her latest album, titled “Midnight (The Til Dawn Edition).” Nonetheless, fans can now look forward to the upcoming release of Hard to Love: Heartless Edition on Friday. It serves as a follow-up to Moneybagg’s successful 2021 album, A Gangsta’s Pain. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured hit singles like “Said Sum” and “Wockesha.”

Moneybagg Gets Emotional In Pre-Release Interview

In anticipation of the mixtape’s release, Moneybagg Yo will be engaging in an in-depth interview with radio legend Angie Martinez on Wednesday night. This interview is expected to provide fans with an intimate and honest glimpse into Moneybagg Yo’s life and career. It will be available for viewing on YouTube starting at 8 p.m. ET. A preview clip of the interview shows Moneybagg Yo opening up about the personal hardships he has faced.

Moneybagg’s trying times show how strong he is. From the sounds of the things he went through, many might have felt like giving up. However, the rapper pushed forward, even given his consecutive losses. In the interview, he opens up about a miscarriage, the mistakes he has made in life, and the losses he has endured. “A miscarriage, I lost my baby momma,” Bagg said. “I lost my day one, left hand to the feds, my right hand to the streets. I’m talking about back-to-back.”

Lil Durk Is Prepared To Release A Deluxe Version Of ‘Almost Healed’ With ‘The Voice Vibes’

Fans worried that Lil Durk would take a hard left into overtly positive messaging on his new album Almost Healed were relieved to learn that the operative word in the title was “Almost.” While lead single “All My Life” with J. Cole bore all the hallmarks of uplifting “conscious” rap — right down to a chorus of children singing its saccharine hook — and Alicia Keys played therapist on the album’s intro, Durk largely stuck to his guns for the rest of the new songs, so to speak.

Still, if anyone at all was dissatisfied with the outcome, his deluxe version of Almost Healed should lay those concerns to rest. On Twitter, Durk promised it would bear “The Voice vibes,” invoking the beloved 2020 album which launched the Chicago underground rap veteran to arena status.

Lil Durk Says The Streets Aren’t The Same Anymore

After a previous delay amid a feud with NBA YoungBoy, Lil Durk finally released his highly anticipated album, Almost Healed. The album dropped last Friday. He steadily built excitement among fans with updates and teasers. The album’s first single, “All My Life” featuring J. Cole, swiftly climbed the Billboard Hot 100 charts, matching Durk’s highest-charting single, “Laugh Now Cry Later” with Drake. This release offered a taste of what to expect from the rest of “Almost Healed.”

The tracklist features impressive guest artists and producers, including Kodak Black and Future, whose collaborations are highly anticipated as potential summer anthems. Alicia Keysunexpected appearance in the album’s intro, “Therapy Session,” previewed in the music video for second single “Pelle Coat,” caught many off guard. In the video, Keys assumes the role of Durk’s therapist, showcasing his introspective journey through Chicago’s streets and capturing vulnerable moments of growth.

Lil Durk Warns Not To Trust Everyone

Lil Durk took to Instagram earlier to remind people that you can’t trust just anyone. In a story captured and reposted by the No Jumper account, Durk says the streets have changed. “The streets not the same nomo,” said the rapper. “Everybody ain’t to be called bro or family.” It’s unclear why Lil Durk posted the message. However many in the comments seemed to agree with him. Interestingly, the rapper recently seemed to have made a new friend in collaborator Morgan Wallen. The two collaborated on a track for Durk’s album. After the release, it appeared that the two went fishing together. “Durk done pulled up and taught me how to fish,” Wallen wrote. Dirk might be having some trust issues, but the rapper’s fans are willing to make a lifelong commitment to him.

Almost Healed has garnered such a strong reception that certain fans have decided to permanently ink themselves with the album’s cover art. While some may view this decision as extreme, others perceive it as a meaningful gesture. Additionally, the skill and artistry demonstrated in this tattoo are exceptional, successfully recreating the album’s cover art with remarkable photorealism. Despite being a daring choice, the execution of the tattoo is so well-done that it likely justified the decision for this particular fan.

Lil Durk Spends Weekend Fishing with ‘Almost Healed’ Collaborator Morgan Wallen

Lil Durk Spends Weekend Fishing with Morgan Wallen

Lil Durk explored nature over the holiday weekend. Hitting the state of Tennessee, Durkio linked with country star Morgan Wallen to go fishing. Durk and Wallen recently collaborated on the Almost Healed album.

Durk shared an image with Wallen holding freshly caught fish. “Family is family can’t nothing change that p.s I’m done wit fish,” Durk wrote on Instagram.

“Durk done pulled up and taught me how to fish,” Wallen wrote in a separate post.

Lil Durk will fall just short of the No. 1 spot. Almost Healed is projected to bring in between 125,000 and 150,000 first-week units but land at No 2.

HITS Daily Double notes this will be the rapper’s sixth top 10 album and his 11th to hit the Billboard 200. The No. 1 spot goes to Taylor Swift bringing in 225-275K units with the deluxe edition of her Midnights album.

After increasing excitement to a boiling point, Chicago hip-hop trailblazer and multiplatinum superstar Lil Durk unleashed his anxiously awaited eighth full-length offering and one of the year’s most anticipated albums. Stream Almost Healed on all DSPs HERE

Superstar icon Alicia Keys notably stars in the music video for Therapy Session/Pelle Coat, which just premiered. The visual features her in emotionally charged and thought-provoking moments alongside Lil Durk. It marks their first collaboration together.

Tense production underlines his reflective rhymes as the accompanying visual explores his relationship with the streets and faith through a series of arresting vignettes. It instantly captivates—like everything he does.

Almost Healed pops off as his most personal, engaging, and enigmatic project to date. Laced with bold bangers and introspective anthems alike, it highlights his undeniable melodies and incisive bars at the forefront. He not only shines solo on the likes of “Never Again,” but he also distinguishes himself as the rare chameleonic force who can collaborate with country superstar Morgan Wallen on “Stand By Me” or the late Juice WRLD on “Cross The Globe.”

He may be Almost Healed, but he still takes no prisoners lyrically…
