Moneybagg Yo’s New Mixtape ‘Hard To Love’: Everything We Know So Far

As Uproxx‘s April cover star, Moneybagg Yo laid out what could be expected from Hard To Love.

“I’m more vulnerable on this project than I ever been because of what I went through in the last two years,” he said. “I experienced a lot and endured a lot. I went through a lot. So, this album is really personal, but I know the world is going to relate to it because of the stuff I’m saying, the subject matter. I know people going through what I went through across the globe.”

Unexpectedly, however, Moneybagg (hilariously) changed his Hard To Love release date to this Friday, June 2, to clear the way for Taylor Swift’s Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) last week.

Last Thursday, May 25, Moneybagg Yo posted a video of him singing along to Swift’s “Lover” in the car before explaining, “I just got the news my little baby, Taylor, dropping tonight. I ain’t gonna lie. Y’all know how I feel about Taylor, man, so I think I’m gonna push Hard To Love back just a few days. Y’all be patient with me. Let Taylor have this sh*t.”

Moneybagg Yo Reveals “Hard To Love” Tracklist Featuring Lil Durk, Future, & GloRilla

Moneybagg Yo is gearing up for the release of his new mixtape titled Hard to Love. Earlier today, he unveiled the tracklist for the project, which reveals exciting collaborations with artists like Future and Lil Durk. The mixtape is set to contain a total of 20 songs and is scheduled to drop this Friday (June 2). As if features from Future and Lil Durk weren’t enough, Hard to Love will also include appearances from GloRilla, Fridayy, YTB Fatt, and Shot Off.

Originally, Moneybagg Yo had planned to release Hard to Love last Friday (May 26). However, he delayed it only hours before the release. The rapper mentioned that he had to delay the release due to his love of Taylor Swift. The pop star released the deluxe edition of her latest album, titled “Midnight (The Til Dawn Edition).” Nonetheless, fans can now look forward to the upcoming release of Hard to Love: Heartless Edition on Friday. It serves as a follow-up to Moneybagg’s successful 2021 album, A Gangsta’s Pain. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured hit singles like “Said Sum” and “Wockesha.”

Moneybagg Gets Emotional In Pre-Release Interview

In anticipation of the mixtape’s release, Moneybagg Yo will be engaging in an in-depth interview with radio legend Angie Martinez on Wednesday night. This interview is expected to provide fans with an intimate and honest glimpse into Moneybagg Yo’s life and career. It will be available for viewing on YouTube starting at 8 p.m. ET. A preview clip of the interview shows Moneybagg Yo opening up about the personal hardships he has faced.

Moneybagg’s trying times show how strong he is. From the sounds of the things he went through, many might have felt like giving up. However, the rapper pushed forward, even given his consecutive losses. In the interview, he opens up about a miscarriage, the mistakes he has made in life, and the losses he has endured. “A miscarriage, I lost my baby momma,” Bagg said. “I lost my day one, left hand to the feds, my right hand to the streets. I’m talking about back-to-back.”

Moneybagg Yo Drops New Video For “Ocean Spray”

In a recent video posted on Twitter, Moneybagg Yo shared some unfortunate news for his fans. He had just learned about the Taylor Swift remix featuring Ice Spice that was set to release that night. Sitting in his red sports car, he played Taylor Swift’s music loudly and sang along before delivering the news. “I just got the news my little baby Taylor dropping tonight. I ain’t gonna lie, y’all know how I feel about Taylor, man,” Moneybagg said. “So I think I’m gonna push Hard To Love back just a few days. Y’all be patient with me. Let Taylor have this sh*t.”

With that, Moneybagg continued singing alone and drove away from the camera’s view. While this news might disappoint his fans, it displays a kind show of solidarity towards another artist. Additionally, this delay might provide Ari Fletcher with more time to prepare additional videos in anticipation of the possibility of Moneybagg reaching the number-one position. However, that doesn’t mean the rapper isn’t giving fans anything at all. He just dropped a video for his new song, “Ocean Spray.”

Bagg Is Not Letting Anything Get In The Way Of His Creativity

Upon dropping the song and its trippy new visual, Moneybagg Yo got candid on Twitter. “I use to think being sober would f*ck wit my creative process, I see dats just a mind thing,” he said. “Cuz I been more active skin glowing and I been dropping nun but pressure.” Last year, the rapper shared his plans to get sober. It seems that he has followed through on them. The song, however, seems to be a nod to the days that he was still sipping on lean.

“I’m juiced up / Ocean Spray / I’m poured up / Let’s drink some more today,” Moneybagg raps on the song’s chorus. ” I’m high now, might float away / If I was outside now / I’m vibed out / new Cartiers hide my eyes now.” The video features lots of purple filters as Moneybagg transitions from scene to scene with a styrofoam cup in hand. You can check out the video for the song above. What do you think of the new track? Make sure to let us know what you think in the comments.

Moneybagg Yo Trips Out In Shades Of Purple In His New Video For ‘Ocean Spray’

Moneybagg Yo has shared a new track from hisHard To Love: Heartless Edition mixtape. His latest, “Ocean Spray” is a catchy, melodic ode to lean, where he marvels in luxury as he sips on that syrup.

“I’m juiced up / Ocean Spray / I’m poured up / Let’s drink some more today / I’m high now, might float away / if I was outside now / I’m vibed out / new Cartiers hide my eyes now,” he rap-sings on the song’s chorus.

In the song’s accompanying video, Moneybagg drives around the city, captured through a purple filter. Visions of Moneybagg appear in various styrofoam cups, each cutting into a new scene.

“Ocean Spray” makes for a companion to Moneybagg’s other lean-centric track, “Wockesha.” Though, early last year, the Memphis rapper took to Twitter to share that he plans to get sober.

“I use to think being sober would f*ck wit my creative process,” he said. “I see dats just a mind thing cuz I been more active skin glowing and I been dropping nun but pressure.”

Hard To Love: Heartless Edition was originally planned for release at midnight, however, Moneybagg has since revealed that he is pushing the release date back a week.

“Ima Let My Baby @taylorswift13 Drop Tonight,” he said.

You can see the video for “Ocean Spray” above.

Moneybagg Yo Pushes Back “Hard To Love” Release Date For Taylor Swift

Moneybagg Yo recently utilized social media to announce the upcoming release of his next project, titled Hard To Love: Heartless Edition. In addition to this exciting news, he generated anticipation among his fans by teasing another album currently in the works, which he plans to release later this year. Now the self-proclaimed “Motion God,” the rapper has been effectively building anticipation through captivating teasers shared online. In a separate Instagram post, Moneybagg Yo openly shared insights into the inspiration behind this mixtape, which serves as a continuation of his Heartless series.

Meanwhile, Ari Fletcher, MoneyBagg Yo’s girlfriend, playfully hinted at the possibility of launching an OnlyFans account but with a condition attached. She expressed that she would only pursue the idea if MoneyBagg’s highly anticipated mixtape attains top-ranking status on the charts. To further encourage fans to support the rapper, Ari Fletcher took to Twitter and disclosed her intentions to create an OnlyFans account once the mixtape reaches the coveted number-one position. She even revealed that she has already prepared her first video for it. However, it looks like fans might have to wait a little longer for the mixtape and for Ari Fletcher’s OnlyFans debut.

Moneybagg Bumps Taylor In His Car During Announcement

Moneybagg Yo just posted a video to Twitter with some not-so-great news for his fans. Apparently, he just found out about the Taylor Swift remix featuring Ice Spice that’s dropping tonight. In the video, the rapper sits in his red sports car blasting Taylor and singing along. Then, he delivers the bad news. “I just got the news my little baby Taylor dropping tonight. I ain’t gonna lie, y’all know how I feel about Taylor, man,” Moneybagg said. “So I think I’m gonna push Hard To Love back just a few days, y’all be patient with me. Let Taylor have this sh*t.”

With that, Moneybagg starts singing alone again and speeds off out of the view of the camera. This isn’t great news for fans of the rapper, but it is a kind show of solidarity for a fellow artist. It might even give Ari Fletcher time to work on a few more videos to have ready for the possibility of Moneybagg hitting number one. What do you think of Moneybagg’s decision to delay the mixtape release? Let us know in the comments below. Also, be sure to stay tuned to HNHH for all ther latest updates on Hard To Love.

Moneybagg Yo Reacts To Ari Fletcher’s OnlyFans Announcement

Moneybagg Yo recently took to social media to reveal the forthcoming release of his next project. The new effort is titled Hard To Love: Heartless Edition. The mixtape is set to be unveiled tonight at midnight. Additionally, he created excitement among his fans by dropping hints on Instagram about another album in progress. According to him, it will also be released this year. The rapper, AKA the “Motion God,” has been steadily increasing anticipation through intriguing teasers posted online. In a separate Instagram post, Moneybagg Yo candidly shared insights into the inspiration behind this tape. It serves as a continuation of his Heartless series.

Ari Fletcher, MoneyBagg Yo’s girlfriend, playfully alluded to the idea of launching an OnlyFans account, but with a catch. She stated that she would only proceed with the plan if MoneyBagg’s highly anticipated mixtape achieves top-ranking status on the charts. To further incentivize fans to support the rapper, Ari Fletcher took to Twitter and revealed her intentions to create an OnlyFans account once the mixtape reaches the number one position. She even mentioned that she has already prepared her first video. Now, Moneybagg is responding to his girlfriend’s offer.

Moneybagg Is A Supportive Boyfriend

Moneybagg Yo responded to Ari Fletcher’s intentions to launch an OnlyFans account and appeared to express strong support for the concept. During an interview with Power 106, the Memphis rapper acknowledged that it wasn’t his place to dictate Fletcher’s decisions. However, he tried to offer the same support to her. Moneybagg made sure to emphasize that his fans should back his project if they desire to witness her presence on OnlyFans. “Y’all better run it up,” he said. “Y’all better run it on up, man. You wanna see this OnlyFans, man? Run it up… She already locked and loaded man. I believe it. I know what’s up man.”

Moneybagg’s new mixtape is set to drop tonight at midnight. When he announced it on social media, the rapper went into the meaning of the album to him. “Yooo, I know it’s been a minute. I miss y’all more than y’all miss me,” Moneybagg said in his post. “When I came up with the title Hard 2 Love I was referring to myself, but when I started working more on the project, I realized that it’s more than me being hard to love. It’s hard to love people because a lot of them don’t have good intentions. Just want something from you. It’s hard to love your life when the same people that you sacrifice everything for don’t even get to enjoy the rewards with you. Through it all my biggest source of strength is my fans. I appreciate all of y’all equally.” Stay stuned to HNHH for all the latest updates on Moneybagg and his new mixtape.

Moneybagg Yo Revealed The Release Date For ‘Hard To Love’ And That He Has Another Album Planned This Year

Moneybagg Yo has been hyping the release of his mixtape Hard To Love for some time. Today, he not only revealed the tape’s impending release date but also the fact that he plans to drop another project later this year. In a post on Instagram, he shared an open letter to fans explaining the inspiration behind Hard To Love, which continues his Heartless mixtape series.

“I gained and lost more than I ever thought I would and had no other safe outlet for all the emotions and dark thoughts that came wit that other than making music,” he wrote. “I’m blessed to have an art form to express myself inside & out with you all. Demario is the one that all the sh*t happened to but nobody understood that I still gotta wake up and be Bagg every day to provide for my family and continue to carve my legacy but it’s not easy balancing the two.”

After detailing the string of unfortunate events that have plagued him since the release of his last album, 2021’s A Gangsta’s Pain, he explained that he had too much material recorded for just one project.

The first of these projects, Hard To Love, is due on May 26 via CMG Records/Interscope. The album will be announced at a later date.
