Young Thug’s RICO Trial Put On Hold Amid Mistrial Rumors

Young Thug’s trial is still underway, but earlier today, proceedings were put on hold until Monday (October 28). According to 11Alive, court was canceled and negotiations are taking place, though it remains unclear exactly what’s being negotiated. News of the delay comes amid rumors that the trial could be ruled a mistrial following one witness’ testimony.

Lil Durk’s former artist SlimeLife Shawty took the stand earlier this week, and read a “Free Qua” hashtag aloud. Reportedly, it had been redacted on the screen but not on the paper he was reading from. As a result, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker is reportedly considering a mistrial, though she already shut down a motion for a mistrial with prejudice.

“I am sorry y’all have this gigantic, ginormous, universe of evidence that, maybe if you narrowed down, you wouldn’t be making these kinds of mistakes. But, I believe that to be a mistake. So, I’m gonna deny a motion for a mistrial with prejudice… would you like a mistrial without prejudice?” she asked in court yesterday. With that being said, there could be a major update on the case coming soon, but fans won’t hear anything until at least next week.

Before the judge cleared the courtroom today, Young Thug was able to make a statement with his outfit. He sported a hoodie that said “I [heart] Mariah” in honor of his girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist. The couple celebrated their three-year anniversary earlier this month, and she’s been holding him down throughout his time behind bars. Blueface Reveals New Prison Release Date And It’s Sooner Than Expected

In January of this year, Blueface turned himself in for an alleged probation violation and has been behind bars ever since. He was officially handed a sentence in August, which elicited big reactions from his fans, peers, and family members. The “Thotiana” rapper was handed four years, which his father confirmed in an emotional video shortly after he heard the news. According to Blueface, however, he’ll actually be getting out far sooner than his fans thought.

Earlier this week, his official Instagram account shared a story post, updating his followers on his stay. “I’ll Ce Out JULY Don’t Bink!!!!!” the post reads. This is obviously unconfirmed, and fans will just have to wait and see what actually plays out in his case. He wouldn’t be the only one to get out earlier than expected, however.

Last month, the mother of his child Chrisean Rock also got out of jail. She was arrested in June at one of Blueface’s court hearings due to a felony fugitive warrant dating back to 2022. Since her release, she’s made the most of her newfound freedom, immediately reuniting with her son and even committing to a completely different lifestyle. Fans are glad to see her focusing on her child and turning her life around for the better. They hope that her seemingly rekindled relationship with Blueface doesn’t get in the way of this, though it remains unclear whether or not it will.

Hopefully, whenever Blueface gets released, he’ll take a similar approach as Chrisean has. What do you think of Blueface claiming he’ll be released from prison in July of 2025? Are you surprised or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Lil Reese Reportedly Arrested For Alleged Aggravated Assault After Court Appearance

Lil Reese has dealt with his fair share of legal issues in recent months, and unfortunately for the Chicago rapper, it doesn’t look like he’s off the hook. In September of this year, it was reported that he was wanted in the state of Texas for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend at a nightclub in Houston. He was later arrested, and his attorney Carl Moore denied the allegations on his behalf. “Mr. Taylor vehemently denies these false accusations. We look forward to his day in court,” Moore told TMZ.

Now, according to a new post by DJ Akademiks, he’s been arrested again. Legal documents shared on Instagram earlier today show that he was booked on October 16 and has been charged with alleged aggravated assault. Reportedly, he could face anywhere from five to 10 years in prison for his alleged crimes.

Shortly after, Lil Reese was released on $100K bail and accused the woman of stealing $25K from him.

He later put the media on blast for how coverage of his case was handled and denied the allegations on his Instagram Story. “Fuc I look Like this ain’t that I know better,” Lil Reese wrote. “And the same way y’all posting that shi make sure yall post the case get thrown out on my court date. They do anything for clout and tryna come up try again.” What do you think of Lil Reese reportedly getting arrested after his court appearance earlier this week? King Combs Turns Up With Girlfriend Raven Tracy Amid Father Diddy’s Legal Issues

It goes without saying that Diddy’s family is dealing with a lot right now. Last month, the Bad Boy founder was arrested in New York City, and he’s been behind bars at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center ever since. He’s facing charges related to alleged sex trafficking and racketeering and was recently offered a May 2025 trial date. Reportedly, his attorney Marc Agnifilo accepted the date, but it remains to be seen whether or not that will actually mark the start of the trial.

Amid all of this, Diddy’s children and mother Janice Combs have been by his side. Last week, for example, all but his youngest child were seen filing into the courthouse to support him during his hearing. “The kids were very happy to support their father,” a source told People. “The whole family was. They are united in their support and he was happy to see them all there.”

King Combs Calls Raven Tracy The “Baddest” In The World

This included Diddy’s 26-year-old son Christian “King” Combs, who was also recently spotted partying alongside his girlfriend Raven Tracy. In a clip from their night out, King is also heard telling her that she’s the “baddest” in the world. The clip has sparked mixed reactions from social media users in The Shade Room‘s comments section. While some commenters argue that he should be trying to lay low amid his father’s legal issues, others think there’s no reason he should put his own life on pause.

“Boy your daddy is fighting for his life, go in the house and sit down!” one Instagram user writes. “His life is not supposed to stop because his father’s mistakes,” another says. Gunplay Delivers Update On Vonshae Taylor-Morales Drama After Alleged Rifle-Pointing Incident

In August of last year, Gunplay was arrested for allegedly pointing a rifle at his wife Vonshae Taylor-Morales while she was holding their baby. As a result, Taylor-Morales was granted a restraining order against the rapper, and custody of their child. Unfortunately, he allegedly violated this restraining order various times, resulting in additional arrests.

Now, during a recent Instagram Live, Gunplay has provided a brief update on the situation. “This thing about to be over real soon,” he said. “It could have been way worse… Even though I didn’t do it.” He went on to reveal that he intends to turn his life around, and that he’s considering sharing his journey with his fans.

Gunplay Claims Drama Will Be “Over Real Soon”

“I’m working on getting my life back, and I might document it, cuz I’mma be starting from scratch,” he explained. “I ain’t never lost this much in my life, I never went through this much drama and bullsh*t that I didn’t bring upon myself. That’s the cr*zy part.” Gunplay continued, insisting that he “did everything right” and claiming to be innocent. In October of 2023, Taylor-Morales spoke out after Gunplay was arrested for allegedly violating a restraining order, revealing that she too was looking to get back on the right track.

Diddy’s Lawyer Reveals Mogul’s Biggest Struggle In Jail

It’s no secret that Diddy has a lot on his plate at the moment. Last month, the Bad Boy founder was arrested in New York City and hit with charges related to alleged racketeering and sex trafficking. He’s also currently facing various lawsuits from several individuals accusing him of sexual assault, abuse, and more. Yesterday (October 10), he appeared in court, where he was offered a May 2025 trial date. Reportedly, his attorney Marc Agnifilo agreed, though it’s unclear whether or not the date is set in stone. He also didn’t get any news on his third bail attempt, meaning that he’ll remain behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn for the time being.

Obviously, his current situation would be pretty difficult for anyone to navigate. His biggest struggle in jail, however, might not be what one would expect. Outside of the courtroom, Agnifilo chatted with reporters and provided some insight into the mogul’s lackluster diet.

YNW Melly Case Gets Blamed For Murder Suspect’s Strange Search History

A 32-year-old man named Jauquell Flagg is accused of being one of four individuals who allegedly opened fire at people from inside a stolen vehicle last year. The shooting claimed the life of 44-year-old Desmond Jones and left three others injured. Earlier this week, prosecutor Rob Moran explained New York’s case against Flagg during opening statements, per XXL. He also took the opportunity to bring up an interesting Google search Flagg allegedly conducted on his phone less than a day after the shooting.

Reportedly, he looked up what criteria a jury would need to convict someone of murder, then erased his search history. While this could certainly raise some questions, his defense attorney Shaun Chase brushed it off. Apparently, Flagg is just a big fan of YNW Melly.

YNW Melly is currently behind bars for his alleged role in the murders of two of his friends, YNW Juvy and YNW SakChaser. He’s accused of shooting them and staging a drive-by, and his retrial is set to begin in 2025. According to Chase, his client has simply been keeping up with Melly’s case. He did not explain why the search history was deleted.

As for Melly, he’s been behind bars for several years now. If convicted, he could face a life sentence or the death penalty. Back in July, Judge Martin Fein announced that his retrial would begin on September 10 of next year, according to NBC Miami. In July of 2023, a jury was unable to reach a unanimous decision, which resulted in a mistrial. What do you think of a man on trial for alleged murder in Syracuse claiming that his suspicious search history is only due to his interest in YNW Melly’s case? Do you believe him? Diddy’s Team Accuses Feds Of Leaking Cassie Assault Footage And Demands Alleged Misconduct Investigation

It’s no secret that Diddy has a long road ahead of him, and now, his legal team is accusing the feds of hindering his right to a fair trial. Yesterday (October 9), they filed a motion for an evidentiary hearing in the United States Court of the Southern District of New York, obtained by Meghann Cuniff. The hearing would investigate alleged government misconduct in the Bad Boy founder’s case. They accuse the feds of “strategic” and “unlawful” leaks, making “false and prejudicial statements” in the press, and more.

They even accuse the feds of leaking footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie at a hotel in 2016, which surfaced earlier this year. “The videotape was leaked to CNN for one reason alone,” Diddy’s motion alleges. “To mortally wound the reputation and the prospect of Sean Combs successfully defending himself against these allegations.”

Diddy’s Team Requests Evidentiary Hearing And More In New Motion

The motion also slams the raids conducted on Diddy’s mansions in March of this year, per AllHipHop. His team alleges that excessive force was used “to garner further press attention,” portray Diddy as “dangerous,” and more. On top of the evidentiary hearing, Diddy’s team is also pushing for “discovery of emails, documents and records in the possession of the government (including DHS) related to these leaks; a gag order prohibiting government personnel from disclosing any evidence or investigative material related to this case to any member of the media; and suppression of any evidence leaked by government employees in violation of Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure,” according to XXL.

What do you think of Diddy’s legal team filing a motion for an evidentiary hearing to investigate alleged government misconduct? What about them accusing the feds of leaking the disturbing footage of him assaulting Cassie at a hotel that surfaced online earlier this year? Does this surprise you or not? Snoop Dogg’s 1993 Murder Case Finally Gets Sealed After Judge Approves Petition

Snoop Dogg has certainly come a long way since the 90s, and it looks like the hitmaker has taken the necessary steps to ensure that the less flattering parts of his past no longer follow him. According to TMZ, Snoop asked a judge to seal his arrest record earlier this year. Famously, he and a bodyguard were arrested in 1993 and charged in connection to an LA shooting. He was found not guilty, and now, he’s officially able to put the case behind him.

The outlet obtained documents that show a judge signed off on Snoop’s request in February, meaning that his arrest was sealed months ago. Reportedly, he got help from Ceasar McDowell and his nonprofit organization Unite the People, which aims to promote social justice by offering legal services at affordable prices.

The news arrived just months after Snoop Dogg was a special correspondent for NBC at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It also comes shortly after he seemingly hinted at a tour in support of his upcoming album, Missionary. A writer for Forbes mentioned “talk of a tour as early as next year,” though Snoop himself has yet to confirm any plans to hit the road.

It also remains unclear exactly when fans can expect to hear Missionary, a sequel to his 1993 debut Doggystyle. In August, Dr. Dre told Entertainment Tonight that in order to lock in a November release date, the project would have had to be completed by September 1. So far, no word on whether or not it was handed in. What do you think of Snoop Dogg’s 1993 murder arrest officially getting sealed earlier this year? Are you glad that he can finally put the past behind him? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
