Joe Rogan Guest Arrested On Murder And Dismemberment Charges

Sheldon Johnson, who recently appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience has been arrested on murder and dismemberment charges. Johnson, who became a criminal justice activist after spending more than a decade in prison, was arrested after body parts were found in his Bronx apartment. Johnson was caught after surveillance footage showed him entering and exiting his alleged victim’s apartment multiple times in different outfits. While no formal relationship between Johnson and his victim has been revealed, the pair were jointly incarcerated at Sing Sing Prison.

Johnson appeared on Rogan’s podcast last month. The lengthy interview involved Johnson, who claimed to be a one-time member of the Bloods, speaking on his journey to redemption. He had received a 50-year sentence for armed robbery and other charges in 1999. However, he was paroled in 2019 and began working for a public defense advocacy group in Queens. His father expressed shock at the news, believing that his son was reformed. However, Johnson will be headed back to police custody and possibly back to jail after just five years. This remains a developing story.

Former NBA G-League Player Chance Comanche Professes To Kidnapping And Murdering Maryana Rodgers

A couple of days ago, tragedy struck for the family and friends of Maryana Rodgers, The 23-year-old woman was a close friend of the now-criminal, Sakari Harnden. Rodgers was expecting to see Sakari for a “kinky sex” session that was planned by the 19-year-old. Chance Comanche, former G-League player and ex of Sakari was posing as a “trick,” which is someone who pays someone else to fulfill their sexual fantasies. Rodgers was down to do it since she was expecting a payout of $1000.

When Rodgers showed up everything came to a twisted and sad end. Chance said that he proceeded to wrap an HDMI cord around Rodger’s neck to strangle her. Sakari then choked her out until she was unresponsive. Chance and Sakari then hid her body out in the desert somewhere in Las Vegas. The Arizona basketball alum admitted to the kidnapping and murdering of Rodgers recently.

Rodgers went missing on Dec. 7 according to AP. The motivation to plan this murder came from Sakari. According to reports from FOX5 Vegas in the video above, “police found out that Sakari, the suspect, had told her friends that she wasn’t feeling [Rodgers] because she spoke to the authorities in LA about something, which resulted in her [new] boyfriend’s arrest in a double murder case. That is when Sakari reached out to her ex, Chance, to plan a method to murder her. It is utterly gut-wrenching news, as Comanche and Sakari are now both facing murder and kidnapping charges. The FBI arrested the basketball player a couple of days ago. Sakari was locked up with a bond of $500,000.

Sergio Brown Pleads Not Guilty To Murdering His Mother

Ex-NFL player Sergio Brown has entered a not-guilty plea on the charge of murdering his mother, Myrtle. Brown reportedly entered his plea earlier on Wednesday while remanded in custody at a jail in Illinois. He will be due back in court later this month. Brown and his mother were reported missing in September, only for his mother’s body to be discovered beside a creek near their Illinois home. Brown remained missing for a few days until he began posting concerning videos from Mexico. He was eventually detained in Mexico and extradited to the United States.

Brown was a starting safety for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish but went undrafted in 2010. However, he was later signed by the Patriots and would play nearly 100 games over the next seven seasons, although he would only ever start 15 games. He retired in 2016 following a brief stint with the Bills. Finishing his career with 144 tackles, Brown also played for the Colts and Jags. His time with the Bills came after a training camp with the Falcons.

Von Miller Expected To Play Despite Arrest

Meanwhile, another Bills player is facing his own legal issues. Von Miller was arrested last week after allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend. However, the arrest will not immediately affect Miller’s status with the Bills. “We weren’t there. We’re not the investigators. We don’t, obviously, you know, we had our conversations with Von and understood what he believes happened. And so, from that standpoint we can’t get into it. It’s an open investigation, and so we’ll just, we’ll let the legal process play out, and he’ll participate like normal in practice,” GM Brandon Beane told reporters.

“Anytime it’s an ongoing investigation, if something was uncovered that the commissioner does have that, at any point, if he feels there was something that, hey, this is, this doesn’t look good or something like that, if at any point that, they could. But with our knowledge of what we have today, we don’t expect that,” Beane added in regards to the possibility of Miller being added to the Commissioner’s Exempt List.

C-Murder’s Murder Conviction Upheld In Federal Court

U.S. District Judge Sarah S. Vance upheld C-Murder’s murder conviction on Monday in federal court. The decision comes despite two key witnesses recanting their testimony and admitting that their comments implicating the rapper were false. C-Murder was convicted of killing 16-year-old Steve Thomas in 2009. The shooting occurred at the Platinum Club in New Orleans in the early hours of January 12, 2002.

Vance explained her ruling in a 47-page decision, arguing that C-Murder’s lawyers had the legal burden to “put forth clear and convincing evidence of error in the state courts’ findings of fact, which he has failed to do.” For now, Murder will continue serving a life sentence for the crime.

Plenty of celebrities have spoken out in support of freeing C-Murder in the years since his conviction. Kim Kardashian has taken a vocal interest in particular. Back in August, she posted a lengthy statement about working on his case on social media. “Rather than search for the real perpetrator of the crime, the local sheriff’s office zeroed in on proving a case against Mr. Miller. The lead detective harassed multiple witnesses and mishandled the case to such a degree that the trial court had no choice but to grant Mr. Miller a new trial after he was convicted in 2003,” she explained. “Louisiana recently enacted a new law that provides innocent people with the ability to raise a post-conviction claim of factual innocence. Mr. Miller has raised such a claim and, like all of his prior post-conviction filings, has been denied relief without even so much as an evidentiary hearing. In light of the fact that the only witnesses have completely recanted their testimony, there is absolutely no remaining evidence against Mr. Miller.”

C-Murder intends to appeal Vance’s decision to a higher federal court. Be on the lookout for further updates on C-Murder’s case on HotNewHipHop.

Polo G’s Brother Faces Murder Charges After Alleged Drive-By Shooting: Report

Polo G’s brother Trench Baby now faces charges of felony murder for an alleged drive-by shooting on June 10 in Los Angeles. Moreover, authorities recently arrested Baby– real name Taurean Bartlett- based on accusations that he took the life of 20-year-old Dashaun Berry in a North Hollywood parking lot, according to TMZ Hip Hop. Law enforcement authorities reportedly told the outlet that paramedics pronounced the young man dead at the scene at around 1:30AM, when they found him with gunshot wounds. Amidst these developments, Taurean Bartlett awaits his fate in a jail cell; we’ll see how his court case plays out, if at all.

Furthermore, police also claim that this alleged incident is what preceded various other crimes that Polo G’s brother is accused of. Reportedly, they both engaged in these worrisome behaviors, although not much has developed in the case since an August arrest. For example, Trench Baby also faces charges of first-degree residential robbery that supposedly took place on August 15. In the same case, and with the same man, he also allegedly dissuaded a witness by force or threat around September 10.

Polo G Performing In New York In 2022

Polo G Brother Murder Driveby Shooting Hip Hop News

When these claims around these crimes started to surface following police investigation, authorities took custody of Polo G and his brother in August. They found them at their Los Angeles home, and Trench Baby in particular has no bail option while in prison. His familial Chicago MC partner, though, seems to have avoided significant jail time here through bail, and doesn’t seem initially tied to the murder of Berry. As such, it looks like Baby’s lack of bail is specifically for this alleged drive-by shooting. They also faces accusations of punching a woman in the face at a Burbank studio altercation, but prosecutors dismissed charges for this due to there not being enough evidence.

Meanwhile, this legal trouble might’ve caused Polo G to delay the release of his next album by a considerable amount. Surely he and his family are quite concerned for Taurean, yet it’s too early to call how this case will pan out. These are pretty heft accusations and charges, and might not be easy to avoid whether or not they’re accurate. For more news and the latest updates on Trench Baby’s situation, come back to HNHH.

Keefe D Planned 2Pac’s Murder, Las Vegas Police Allege

Today, news broke that Las Vegas police had finally made an arrest in the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur. Authorities arrested Duane “Keefe D” Davis, an admitted witness. He was charged with murder with a deadly weapon for the Vegas drive-by. The 60-year-old has spoken about the shooting quite a bit in the past. He’s claimed to have given his nephew the gun used to shoot 2Pac, witnessed the shooting himself, and more.

At a recent press conference, Las Vegas police shared more pressing updates on the current situation. According to them, authorities believe that Keefe D “orchestrated” the plan to murder the beloved performer. They called him the “shot-caller” of a “group of individuals” who followed through with the crime. Authorities allege that Davis obtained the murder weapon from a “close associate.” They also noted that more information on who that could be will come out over time.

Keefe D Charged With The Murder Of Tupac Shakur

They also clarified why Keefe D is charged with murder while he’s not the individual believed to have pulled the trigger on 2Pac. One official explained that in Nevada, along with most states, one can be charged with a crime even if they didn’t commit it directly, for aiding or abetting. Keefe D was also charged with intent to promote, further, or assist a criminal gang.

“For 27 years the family of Tupac Shakur has been waiting for justice,” Sheriff Kevin McMahill also explained at a press conference today. “While I know there’s been many people who did not believe that the murder of Tupac Shakur was important to this police department, I’m here to tell you that is simply not the case.” What do you think of police arresting Keefe D and charging him with murder with a deadly weapon? Share your thoughts in the comments section and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on 2Pac.

MHD was first arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter back in 2019. Witnesses reportedly saw his car at the scene of the crime in Paris’ 10th arrondissement in July 2018. After the arrest, his lawyers quickly stated that he had no “involvement in the brawl” which led to the victim, Loïc K’s death. “His presence at the scene of the incident remains to be proven,” they said at the time. They added that the car was used by different “individuals identified by investigators as the perpetrators of the deadly attack,” while also arguing that MHD contacted investigators “as soon as he became aware” of the car’s involvement. They further confirmed that MHD has “never been involved in conflicts between rival gangs.” Several other French artists have voiced their support for MHD in the time since his initial arrest.

MHD has released three studio albums throughout his career. His self-titled first project came in 2016, followed by 19 in 2018 and Mansa in 2021. He blends trap music with West African music, which he describes as “Afro Trap.” Be on the lookout for further updates on MHD’s case on HotNewHipHop.

Police Officer Charged With Murder Of London Rapper Itch

An unnamed police officer fatally shot rising London rapper Itch back on September 5 of last year, and might now face dire consequences for it. Moreover, following a probe by a law enforcement watchdog, authorities charged the cop (whose name is unknown for legal liability reasons) with murder, according to a Wednesday (September 20) report from The Sun. Itch, real name Chris Kaba, was 24 and expecting a child. He passed away following a high-speed police chase where he was struck by bullets and taken to a South West London hospital, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries. Itch’s drill group, 67, received a nomination for MOBO’s Best Newcomer during their 2016 awards show.

“Chris was so very loved by our family and all his friends,” Itch’s family remarked in a statement. “He had a bright future ahead of him, but his life was cut short. Our family and our wider community must see justice for Chris. We welcome this charging decision, which could not have come too soon. Itch Murder Case Sees A Charge

“They’ve taken my heart,” Itch’s mother Elaine Kaba expressed in addition. “My son is gone, I’m heartbroken.” “We’re devastated, we don’t know what to think, we can’t think straight right now,” the MC’s father Prosper stated. “He was always joking around, he enjoyed life, he had lots of friends. He was looking forward to being a father. His girlfriend is still in shock. He was looking forward to teaching his daughter how to talk and walking and all fatherly duties. He had wanted to be a father for a long time.” In addition, Director Amanda Rowe of the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) informed the press that the charged officer is due at the Westminster Magistrates’ court today (Thursday, September 21).

“Our thoughts remain with Mr Kaba’s family and everyone affected by this tragic incident,” Rowe said. “It’s important now that criminal proceedings are able to run their course. We would reiterate the importance of not reporting, commenting or sharing information online which could in any way prejudice those proceedings.” “We have fully supported the IOPC investigation as it has worked to establish the facts,” Met Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner Helen Millichap added on. “Today’s announcement is a significant and serious development. We must now allow the court process to run its course so it would not be appropriate for me to say more at this stage. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this case.”
Rest In Peace Chris Kaba.

Woman Who Murdered Beyonce’s Cousin Found Guilty

Earlier this week, Sasha Skare, who fatally shot Beyonce’s cousin Martell DeRouen, began her trial. She had quite a bit of evidence working against her, including security footage, witness testimonies, and more. With that being said, after around two hours of deliberation, the jury found her guilty of murder. The verdict was read aloud in court today, and she didn’t appear to have much of a reaction at all.

DeRouen was a 34-year-old up-and-coming rapper who performed under the name Kardone. Back in 2021, Skare reportedly got into a verbal altercation with him at his apartment, leading him to tell her to leave. She was then captured by neighbors’ Ring cameras walking through the halls of the building holding a gun, and according to reports, fired a single shot through the door. Neighbors claim they heard banging on the door, as well as the gunshot. The woman who lived across the hall from DeRouen also says she saw Skare pounding on his door just before his murder.

Sasha Skare Sentenced To 55 Years In Prison

During the trial, audio from a 911 call made by Skare also showcased her claiming to be DeRouen’s wife, Joia. She told dispatchers that she was locked out of the apartment and had been injured. Joia, however, says that it wasn’t her that made the call. “She pronounced the last name wrong,” she explained in court. “My name starts with a J and not a G. He was not 28, he was 34. Not correct at all.”

Ahead of Skare’s trial, she also turned down a plea deal for a 20-year prison sentence. Now, she’s been sentenced to 55 years behind bars. After Skare’s guilty verdict was announced, DeRouen’s sister Kami shared her victim impact statement. “The pain and agony you brought upon my family is unbearable,” she explained. “Fix your sheets, if you have any, because you’ve made your bed and now it’s time for you to lay in it.” Keep an eye on HNHH for more news and updates.
