Kodak Black supposedly charges quite a hefty charge for every performance. As you see by the title, the Pompano Beach, Florida rapper commands at least $300,000. While some people are almost assuredly going discredit that, it makes sense. You can say what you want about his past decisions, but he is an established veteran in the hip-hop world. He’s also been one of the major faces of the genre over the last 10 years due to his hitmaking ability. You have massive tracks from his solo catalog like “ZEZE”, “Tunnel Vision”, and “No Flockin’”. Then, when you take a look at his features, they are arguably even bigger. Gucci Mane’s “Wake Up in the Sky” and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie’s “Drowning” are just a couple, but both total nearly two billion streams combined.
So, yes, there is a lot of validity to Kodak Black demanding such a high price tag for a show. However, the “BROTHER STONE” rapper is deciding to give back to his fans, as well as some of the up-and-coming talents. According to AllHipHop, the 27-year-old hopped on Instagram Live to offer about $50,000 in features to 10 newcomers. He did that before responding to fan’s request to get to pop out to his kid’s birthday.
Perhaps due to it being a younger kid, Black was willing to lower his rate to $11,000, which he makes clear is “a great f***ing deal”. I charge $300,000 for a show. So, when I’m telling you s*** like this here, hurry up and jump on it”. While 11 G’s is still a lot of money for a kid’s birthday party, it’s better than full price!
What are your thoughts on Kodak Black asserting that he makes $300,000 per show? Do you think he’s bluffing, why or why not? Have you been enjoying the MC’s resurgence this year? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Kodak Black. Kodak Black appeared on a July 8 episode of the No Jumper podcast. The conversation between the rapper and host Adam22 was cordial for the most part, but things took an awkward turn when the latter insisted on discussing drug use. Adam22 told an anecdote about interviewing a rapper who was high, and then urged Kodak Black to shed light on how often he does drugs. Kodak did not appreciate being called out. He called out the podcast host and even mentioned his wife.
The confrontation started innocently enough. Adam22 asked if they could “settle” once and for all if Kodak Black is a habitual drug user. The rapper did not take the bait. Kodak explained that he doesn’t recall the instances in which he was on illegal substances. He tried to change the subject, and Adam22 pushed again. “Usually, if you get loaded,” the podcast host noted. “It’ll last a good two hours, right?” Things came to a halt there. “I ain’t come up here for you to be playing detective,” Kodak Black stated. Adam22 tried to walk back the questioning by claiming that him and Kodak had talked about it off mic.
Kodak became frustrated. In fact, he made reference to Adam22’s wife, Lena the Plug. “I ain’t trying to exploit your bullsh*t,” Kodak Black added. “I ain’t even come up here and talked about your wife or non. Cuse I don’t know her and I don’t know you.” Adam22 makes a joke to diffuse the situation, but it’s clear things never fully get back on track. The podcast host didn’t even attempt to hide the confrontation. He uploaded the clip to YouTube with a clickbait title.
Kodak Black’s suspicion makes sense, however. Adam22 does not have the best reputation when it comes to interviewing artists. He’s considered a “culture vulture.” He’s repeatedly criticized for exploiting the rappers who appear on his podcast. Sometimes, he exploits the people who allegedly killed rappers. Joe Budden called out Adam22 for reposting content of image consultant Kevin Samuels after his death. “I don’t like what you did after he died,” Budden told the No Jumper host. “It’s disgusting. Disgusting. The nastiest performance I’ve ever seen.” Adam22’s viral moment with Kodak Black will continue the hate train, and it’s easy to see why.
Don Toliver finally came by with his highly sought after fourth album, HARDSTONE PSYCHO. Fans were dying to get their hands on the project as soon as “Bandit” premiered back in February. So far, it seems that a lot of people are pleased with the end result. The features are adding to that satisfaction, playing a major role on the record. Travis Scott, Future, Teezo Touchdown, Charlie Wilson, Cash Cobain, and Kodak Black all bring something to the table. The latter might have the top performance on “BROTHER STONE”, and it seems that it will find a spot in a lot of listeners’ rotations. Due to the song popping off already, Don did good by dropping the music video for “BROTHER STONE” moments ago.
We can see why, as the beat commands your attention right away. The twinkly and haunting piano melodies, along with the thumping bass and punchy kick drums add up for a winner of an instrumental. Kodak is arguably the best part of it though, with his stop-start flow and energetic delivery. Don also does his thing, keeping the engines revved. As for the music video, Don and Kodak head to the former’s home for a lit party with strippers and lowriders. The now 30-year-old father of one continues to rock his HARDSTONE PSYCHO leather get-up, further promoting this punk rock aesthetic. Travis Scott and Trae Tha Truth, two other Houston natives, make some brief cameos later on at a grungy nightclub. All of them sling ones at the women dancing around them, as they rage throughout the night. You can check out the new visuals with the link below.

Boosie Badazz’s VladTV interviews have given quite a bit of insight into the veteran rapper. Their 13th interview featured a new revelation about rap beefs. Boosie is no stranger to starting conflict with fellow musicians. He’s pretty outspoken in his opinions, even when they’re quite controversial. That combined with his willingness to comment on just about anything going on in the world through his social media has gotten him in trouble more than once. But he clarified that it isn’t elevating to full-on beef with some of his fellow rappers.
In particular, fans have long speculated that Boosie may have beef with Kodak Black. The two have shared many disagreements publicly over social media which occasionally elevated to some pretty direct comments they’ve made about each other. But in his newest interview, Boosie assists that there’s no beef. His justification concludes that mentioning somebody a few times doesn’t escalate things to a rap beef. He even admits to responding to Kodak on his song “Grateful” but claims that because it isn’t all about Kodak, it isn’t an actual diss track. Check out the full interview where he makes those comments below.
While on the subject of beefs he had another thing to clarify. He made sure to deny having any beef with NBA Youngboy. He gave a similar reason as he did with Kodak, claiming that while they’ve had their differences it hasn’t escalated to the level of an actual rap beef. A few months ago Kodak Black collaborated with 6ix9ine on a new song. Boosie clearly took issue with the crossover. He took to social media to claim that that the collaboration alone proved that Kodak’s career was on a downward spiral.
What do you think of Boosie denying that he has beef with Kodak Black or NBA Youngboy? Do you agree with his conclusion that that you have to make a full diss track about someone in order to have beef? Let us know in the comment section below.
“I got the next generation of stars. I have a voice in this game and I’m using it to put my artists on until everyone knows their names. Watch out for Vulture Love. We ain’t stopping”. Those were the quoted words of label head Kodak Black, according to The Source, about his new collection of signees.
It is quite the long list of names, with some of the bigger ticket artists being Lil Crix, G6 (G6reddot), VVsnce, and GorditoFlo. The last time that Kodak Black dropped a label project was back in 2021. That was a venture with the more widely known Sniper Gang called Sniper Gang Presents Syko Bob & Snapkatt: Nightmare Babies. If you remember that tape featured Kodak’s smash hit “Super Gremlin”.

To complement Vulture Love Presents: The Last Zombies On Earth, the first lady of Vulture Love, VVSNCE releases her summery “Palm Trees” video. Watch HERE. Meanwhile, G6reddotpartners with Kodak on the island of Capri in “The Way.” Watch HERE. G6reddot is an award-winning songwriter with success which includes penning on Cardi B’s hit number one record “Up.”
Among the many standouts on the project is “Feel My Face,” a face-off between Kodak and G6reddot that manages to be soulful and sentimental — while also not pulling any punches. Other highlights include “Like a Cowboy,” an old-school low-end bumper that leans into Kodak’s melodic hook complemented by bars from NFL Tuewop, Big Fredo and VVSNCE, and the climatic track “Good Day,” which pairs G6reddot, VVSNCE, and JME Tmoe trading verses amid a gospel choir and thumping percussion. Then there’s the ominous “Whippin Alot” which find Kodak and Yung Mula boasting their confidence.
As expected, Kodak spearheads the collective, bringing his inimitable brand of rap to solo sizzlers “1800 Degrees” and “Lil Bra Dem.” He champions his newcomers who also get their moment to shine such as VVSNCE’s“Palm Trees” and Lil Crix’s“I Can’t Turn Down.” In short, the talent on display on Vulture Love Presents: The Last Zombies On Earth is nothing short of show-stopping. See the full tracklist below.
Vulture Love Presents: The Last Zombies On Earth arrives on the heels of Kodak’s recent introspective singles “Dis Time,” “Stressed Out,” and “Non Believer.” It was preceded by “Shampoo,” a confident burst of street rap that typifies the style that made him a superstar. Of course, that song followed When I Was Dead, an engrossing album in which Kodak explores both his nightmares and blood-stained aspirations. Featuring the smash hit “Lemme See,” the project only reaffirmed Kodak’s status as one of the most gifted artists of his generation.
Kodak’s status transcends the rap world. Over the years, he has cultivated the role of a prophetic storyteller in the culture at large, and his reach continues to grow. He holds over 25 billion global streams to his name and continues altruism towards his Pompano Beach community. Now, with Vulture Love Presents: The Last Zombies On Earth, Kodak propels Vulture Love into the spotlight giving the next generation their shot.

Two vehicles owned by rapper Kodak Black was vandalized with the windows smashed out after one of the mother’s of his children suspected him of hooking up with one of his other baby mamas.
Maranda Johnson, who recently gave birth to Kodak’s youngest son, posted a picture on IG showing two of Black’s cars vandalized with the windows broken out, which she seemingly was taking credit for.
“Hoe yo shit next! Bitches better find them a bitch to play with.” She also said, “Fuck n-gga you just played yourself. I’ll see you in court fuck n-gga.”
In another post, Johnson took shots at Maya, Kodak’s first baby mama, for getting close again to the “Roll In Peace” rapper.
Johnson said, “You doing all that groupie shit and still don’t got shit. Everything he buy King you sell it to buy drugs. You dead beat ass bitch. You so proud to get fucked and sent home. How you a side bitch to yo own bd??”
Video clips of Kodak Black hanging out with Maya and their eight-year-old son King Khalid seemed to be the catalyst that set off Miranda’s anger. One of those videos show the rapper asleep in bed with his ex-girlfriend.
Black, who has four children in total, including two with Maranda Johnson, has yet to comment on the damage done to his vehicles.
If there is one word you could use to describe most if not all of Kodak Black’s career it would be “troubled.” The Florida rapper has dealt with numerous legal setbacks, outlandish statements, and severe addictions. However, the hitmaker has been ushering in a new era lately and looking to change the perception that has engulfed him. In early April he revealed that he had dramatically reduced his Percocet usage and he has been seeing incredible results.
“Bro, I’m proud of myself. I’ve never been this happy in my life, bro. I don’t know where this came from, what the f**k going on,” Kodak explained. “My dosage so low that I can’t believe it myself. Man, I’m telling y’all, bro.” All of this self-improvement seems to have the rapper rejuvenated and it has been a treat to witness. Now, Kodak is bringing these life lessons into his music, doing so on a new single “Dis Time.”
“Thinkin’ ’bout all my seeds, I gotta be there for them in the mornin’ / And they gotta see me when they get up early,” Black aptly mentions after welcoming a child with Maranda Johnson. These are just a handful of bars that show his willingness to continue to improve. On top of enjoying this revelation, Kodak has been making sure to keep up the output as well. “Dis Time” comes after a slew tracks like “Shampoo,”“Non Believer,” and “Stressed Out.”
What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Dis Time” by Kodak Black? Is this one of his stronger releases as of late, why or why not? Do you think he is gearing up for a new project sometime soon? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Kodak Black. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.
Quotable Lyrics:
So I stay on alert, stopped poppin’ that molly, it was makin’ me nervous And lately, I ain’t been in the projects like that, I done learned N****s be hatin’, and they’ll put them crackers on you ’cause they scared I revived my career, I was trippin’ last year, my vision got blurry Now I’m seein’ it clear, every decision I makе gon’ be worth it From now on, yeah, evеry minute gon’ count on this Earth
Louisiana-born rapper Boosie Badazz has come a long way in the rap game since his days as a member of the Southern hip-hop collective Concentration Camp. Formerly known as Lil Boosie, Boosie Badazz’s influence in the rap game, especially in Southern hip-hop, is undeniable. Hence, it isn’t surprising that some of the greatest talents in rap music gained inspiration from Boosie.
However, his impact on the genre came into question recently following remarks made by Kanye West. Still, Boosie knows his worth and is ready to defend his legacy at any opportunity. Thus, when Kanye West claimed to have invented every style of music for the last two decades, Boosie was among those who strongly disagreed with him. Taking to his Instagram page, the Baton Rouge rapper shared an excerpt from Kanye’s interview and captioned it, “NOT ALL GENRES NOT EVERY STYLE NOT BOOSIE MUSIC YOU CANT RELATE TO NOTHING I RAP ABOUT R YOUR MUSICNOBODY LISTENS TO KANYE N THE PROJECTS R THE TRENCHES IM,A GON HEAD N SAY IT “ MY PEOPLE DO NOT RELATE TO YOU.””
In October 2022, Boosie also claimed to have influenced more “street n****s” than any other rapper in history. Boosie made this claim during an interview with VladTV. While discussing Kodak Black’s tribute to him in the song, “Too Boosie,” Boosie Badazz declared, “Ain’t nobody ever in rap history never raised more street n****s than me. I’m talking ’bout no rapper in history raised more street n****s” than me.” Boosie further claimed that every generation loves him, adding that he is always thankful when people credit him for his career.
It takes a man worth his salt to make such claims, and Boosie wasn’t playing when he made those comments. But how true are his words? Is Boosie Badazz’s influence in the rap game as great as he makes it out to be? Here are five rappers who credited Boosie Badazz for influencing their music.
Memphis-born rapper Young Dolph opened up about how Boosie Badazz influenced him to start rapping. A clip from an interview before Young Dolph’s death showed him admitting to Boosie Badazz’s influence. The late rapper shared that he met Boosie through a friend, and they smoked weed together. In that moment, Young Dolph stated that he knew Boosie was an authentic individual, even as he lived a particularly affluent lifestyle. That attitude and show of wealth struck a chord with Young Dolph, who declared soon after they left Boosie’s place that he would start rapping.
Boosie also talked about his influence on Young Dolph’s career during an Instagram Live on Feb. 5, 2024. He revealed that Young Dolph decided to start rapping after selling him weed. Boosie shared, “[Young Dolph] said that after he sold me that weed, man, that n***a got there from rappin’? I’m fixin’ to rap. That was 2006. I inspired a lot of muthafuckas. A lot of muthafuckas. I just don’t like to give me my flowers. You gotta be a real n**** to give me my flowers.”
MO3
Besides Young Dolph, another late rapper who rose to fame thanks to Boosie Baddazz’s influence was Dallas MC MO3. MO3 was signed to Boosie’s label and collaborated with him on different occasions. They worked on the 2019 song “Errybody,” before collaborating on the joint album BadAzz Mo3 a year later. Boosie and Mo3’s album peaked at no. 136 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
MO3 spoke about Boosie Badazz’s influence on his musical career during a chat with Flaunt to promote his and Boosie’s joint album. MO3 was dubbed the Boosie of Dallas then and expressed his delight at earning that title. “It feels good. That’s an accomplishment. That means I’m destined to be legendary. I’m holding all that weight right now. I’m this generation’s Boosie,” he said. MO3 also described Boosie as his favorite rapper, saying, “That’s my favorite. I don’t have any other favorites. Because he rapped my life. He helped me get through my days. Before I was rapping, I was 14 listening to him.” MO3 is no longer alive, but he managed to make a great impact in his lifetime, thanks to Boosie.
Kodak Black is very grateful to Boosie Badazz for his influence and has never hidden his admiration for him. During an appearance on DJ Whoo Kid’s podcast, Whoolywood Shuffle, about five years ago, Kodak was asked which rappers inspired him while growing up. In his response, Kodak said, “Lil Boosie and Plies.” To show his appreciation for Boosie even more, Kodak released the song “Too Boosie,” in 2021. In the track, he paid tribute to Boosie and referenced how he acts like the Baton Rouge rapper. Kodak also rapped about Boosie’s influence on his lifestyle.
TEC
Baton Rouge rapper is another MC who gained inspiration from Boosie. Being from the same city as Boosie, it isn’t surprising that TEC was greatly influenced by him. TEC endured so much to get to where he is today and those life lessons taught him to be stronger. Tec, who has spoken about Boosie’s influence on his music, adopts the latter’s brash and vulnerable style. In October 2021, TEC released an album, Web The World, in which he featured Boosie in the song, “Clapped Up.”
In an interview with Passion Of The Weiss, Tec opened up about how it felt to feature Boosie on a song. He said, “That shit meant a lot. That was like a goal in itself. Everyone from Baton Rouge wanna get a song with Boose. He was everybody’s favorite rapper at some point. Especially if you from our city – f**k rapper, he’s a role model and shit. Everybody wanted to be that n***a, fa real. So, to have him on my album? That s**t raw.” In another interview with Thirty Visuals, TEC named Boosie Badazz as one of his biggest influences.
YFN Lucci
During YFN Lucci’s rise to fame, one of those who helped him was a close friend, Nut. In an interview with Complex, Lucci said, “I met Nut when I was like, 22.” Nut believed Lucci would become successful in the rap game and supported him willingly. However, Nut died right after Lucci dropped his first mixtapes. Lucci made an EP titled Long Live Nut to honor his late friend. The last song on the EP was the track “Testimony,” featuring Boosie, who was Nut’s favorite rapper. Like Boosie, the Atlanta-based YFN Lucci employs emotive storytelling in his lyrics. He also loves using melodic hooks to keep his listeners tuned in.
Boosie Badazz has a great influence on hip-hop, especially the Southern hip-hop scene. Rappers like Young Dolph, Kodak Black, MO3, and TEC seem to have adopted Boosie’s musical style, making them more appealing to Southern hip-hop fans. Hence, though not everyone likes Boosie Badazz, he is not wrong when he says he influenced many artists in the rap game.
