Diddy is being sued by his former lover Cassie, stating she was rapped and sex trafficked during their relationship. Cassie, born Casandra Ventura, filed the suit in New York City, stating she was the victim of a “cycle of abuse, violence and sex trafficking.

Included in the lawsuit was a 2018 rape, which Cassie stated as Diddy attempted to prevent her from leaving him.

“After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” Cassie said in a statement. “With the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act fast approaching, it became clear that this was an opportunity to speak up about the trauma I have experienced and that I will be recovering from for the rest of my life.”

In a sharp reply to PEOPLE, Diddy’s lawyer Ben Brafman, stated all the claims are “offensive and outrageous.”

“Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations. Ms. Ventura’s demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail,” Brafman said. “Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’ reputation, and seeking a pay day.”

The complaint was first reported by The New York Times, highlighting the suit leads with a trigger warning. Additional disturbing claims included Cassie being beaten by Diddy, forced sex acts with male sex workers while he filmed and masturbated to the encounters, threats via firearms, and blowing up another recording artist’s car for having an interest in the singer.

Diddy Blew Up Kid Cudi’s Car In 2012, Cassie’s Bombshell Rape Lawsuit Alleges

In a new lawsuit filed by singer Cassie, she not only accused music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs of nearly of decade of abuse and manipulation, but she also alleges that he might have been responsible for rapper Kid Cudi‘s car exploding after she dated him.

According to the New York Times, which broke the story, Diddy threatened to blow up the rapper’s car in 2012, when he and Cassie were briefly linked. The lawsuit reads, “Around that time, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway.” Kid Cudi apparently confirmed through a publicist, “This is all true.”

Elsewhere in the lawsuit, Cassie accuses Diddy of taking other extremely manipulative measures to control her during their tumultuous relationship, including threatening to withhold her music, pushing her to consume drugs like ecstasy and ketamine, and beating her, including giving her black eyes and paying off hotels to keep the abuse secret.

The lawsuit also alleges that he coerced her into having sex with male prostitutes, asserting that as this happened across state lines, this could qualify as sex trafficking.

Diddy denies the allegations, with one of his lawyers essentially calling the accusations a shakedown and saying Cassie tried to extort him with threats of a tell-all book, while Cassie’s attorneys maintain that it was the other way around and she refused a payoff from him to keep quiet.

The Alchemist Answers Kid Cudi’s Joint Album Tweet

Kid Cudi found a pretty unique way to secure a collaborative album with one of the best producers in rap history, just asking for it. A fan recently took to Twitter to express how good Cudi sounds when he raps over boom bap style instrumentals. Cudi agreed and even had an idea for how he could bring more of that to his fans. “Wheres @Alchemist when u need him man!!! Lets do a album F*CK.” In the tweet he specifically tagged The Alchemist as a producer he would want to work with on more boom bap flavored songs.

Now, The Alchemist responded to his request and it’s about as strong of an endorsement as fans could hope. “long overdue! They dont know we go back! im getting your # from Goldwatch asap,” Alc said in his response tweet. While that likely secured both Alc and Cudi plenty of fan requests for updates on the album, it’ll all be worth it if they eventually drop a joint project. Alc and Cudi have crossed paths before, 15 years ago. Kid Cudi provided a guest verse to Alc’s song “Therapy” from his Alchemist’s Cookbook EP. Check out their recent twitter interactions below.

The Alchemist Wants To Make An Album With Kid Cudi

The Alchemist is fresh off of the release of a new project of his own. Over the weekend he released Flying High, Part 2 the featured-packed sequel to his Flying High EP earlier this year. This time around he recruited Conway The Machine, Action Bronson, Curren$y, and Gangrene to appear on the project.

Alc was recently working on even more new material in his home studio. Pictures made their way online of Earl Sweatshirt and A$AP Rocky hanging out in Alc’s house. While it’s unclear what exactly they were working on, many fans speculate it could be something from Rocky’s forthcoming new album. Kid Cudi, Pharrell, And Travis Scott Detail What Went Down ‘At The Party’ On Their Thumping New Single

Kid Cudi’s rollout for Insano takes a big leap forward with “At The Party,” featuring both Pharrell and Travis Scott. In September, the Cleveland rapper pushed the album back, advising fans that it wouldn’t arrive until January, but in terms of the sort of tracks that’ll hold them over ’til then, you could do way worse than “At The Party.”

A loopy, bass-heavy beat backs rap verses from all three participants, who each perform with a buzzy filter and a droning delivery. The effects are cool and help make the three verses more lively, considering none of the three has ever really been anyone’s idea of a showstopping rapper. The features are also fitting since you can usually hear a lot of Pharrell’s influence in Kid Cudi’s music and even more of Kid Cudi’s influence in Travis Scott’s music.

They’re just two of the planned features for Insano, which Cudi teased would also include contributions from fellow genre-benders like ASAP Rocky, Lil Yachty, and Young Thug. Cudi also recently collaborated with Lil Durk on the song “Guitar In My Room” but it remains to be seen whose project it’ll show up on, if any.

Here Are The Features On Kid Cudi’s Upcoming ‘Insano’ Album

After he received less than favorable feedback from fans regarding his teaser snippet for the song “Flex,” Kid Cudi returned to the creativity drawing board. Unfortunately, extra time was needed to make that musical pivot so that Cudi could rethink his approach for his forthcoming album, Insano. Ultimately, he postponed the project, which was slated to drop in June. Due to the temporary album setback, Cudi has fed fans other collaborations, including a campaign with Star Trek and a song with Lil Durk.

Thanks to his recent concert, supporters have more insight into what the future holds for the body of work. Here are the features on Cudi’s upcoming ‘Insano’ album. Following Cudi’s last Cudder’s Clubhouse performance at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, on Friday, October 15, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm a handful of collaborations that could appear on the project.

Cudi confirmed Pusha T and Travis Scott during an exchange with a fan on the platform. According to HotNewHipHop, other suspected cameos include ASAP Rocky, Young Thug, and Lil Yachty.

Cudi felt generous during his online browsing and confirmed that Insano will still be released in January 2024.

Several pop-up dates remain for Cudi’s intimate show, including stops in Dallas and Houston, Texas; more details will be revealed then.
