Kanye West Leak Resurfaces From Around 2011, Titled “Not The Same”

Kanye West has a whole treasure trove of leaks, with an unreleased catalog perhaps more legendary than any other artist. Even though we’ve been listening to hidden Yeezy tracks for years, it’s remarkable how they keep propping up. Moreover, a new track titled “Not The Same” resurfaced online, and it’s apparently from the Chicago artist’s circa 2011 era. However, there are an astonishing number of asterisks attached to this leak, disregarding the massive asterisk that is Kanye’s current state. Regardless of the song’s history, it’s still refreshing to see him in this zone after over a decade of evolution way beyond this.

For example, the track apparently surfaced after a user on the popular forum KanyeToThe purchased the track. Not only that, but the seller apparently got it from an “industry insider” according to HipHopDX, and this all happened back in 2014. As such, there are some interesting things about this song that call its origin into question. One of them is the fact that the Kanye West leak that made its way onto the Internet features an Honorable C.N.O.T.E. tag.

Kanye West’s 2011 Leak, “Not The Same”

Though this is an eyebrow-raising part of the song, he’s been producing for at least over 15 years with big artists. Given that this is an unreleased track (and that after all, it’s Kanye West), anything could happen. What’s more is that some Reddit searching reportedly found that the verse might not even be from Ye himself. Allegedly, it’s from the L.E.P. Bogus Boys, specifically a track from the disbanded group’s canceled 2011 project.

Meanwhile, the song’s production ended up being the most contested part of the song. Apparently, Mike Dean himself responded to the leak on KanyeToThe and dismissed claims that anyone competent produced it. “U think we would make something so bad production wise?? get real,” he allegedly wrote. As such, many might believe that this is a fabricated instrumental over a real Kanye acapella. For more news and the latest updates on Kanye West, keep checking in with HNHH.

Kanye West’s Odd But Meaningful Gift To Conway The Machine Explained

Kanye West and Conway The Machine have quite a tight relationship, and that’s something that the former’s gift to the latter proves. Moreover, the Drumwork rapper recently popped by the Rap Radar podcast for an enlightening conversation that held some interesting revelations. One of the things he talked about was his sophomore studio album God Don’t Make Mistakes, and Ye’s reaction to it when he played it for him in Wyoming. Specifically, on the track “Stressed,” Conway’s remarks on alcoholism and his use of it as a coping mechanism struck a chord with the Chicago artist.

“That third verse, I talk about how I was on that bottle, I’m sipping, I’m getting nice everyday and shit,” Conway The Machine expressed on the program. “I’m just giving my perspective of what I’m dealing with with that. And [Kanye West] heard that s**t and he didn’t say nothing. He just got up and walked out the room. He must’ve been feeling that s**t. N***a came back and gave me an autographed Alcohol Anonymous book. Like, ‘Yeah, read that, dawg. I love that record. That s**t, I felt that.’ We had a whole different conversation that I don’t want to share.”

Though it was a strange move considering that an autograph can’t mean much to two friends these days, the former (but forever) Griselda affiliate thanked Kanye West for allowing him to pull up, play the album for him, and hear some feedback. In addition, the Yeezy designer previously opened up abut his own struggles with the substance. “I would drink to take the stress away and knock the edge off,” he remarked in a 2021 Thanksgiving prayer. “Drinking affected my health and the health of people around, around me because I already had a hair-trigger temper and this just heightened it.”

“I never thought about the effect alcohol could have had on my life,” Kanye said in Arizona at the Awaken prayer event back in 2020. “I was drinking on the red carpet, and then running on stage a few minutes later. Everyone around said, ‘Nah, he ain’t really no alcoholic.’ And then you get to the point where you’re drinking Grey Goose and orange juice for breakfast, thinking, ‘Nah, I ain’t really no alcoholic.’” Stay up to date on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kanye West and Conway The Machine.

Kim Kardashian Says She Hides Her Anger with Ye from Her Kids

Screen Shot 2023 06 01 at 10.34.20 AM

Kim Kardashian is currently co-parenting with Kanye West, but getting along with the once-billionaire may not be the easiest task. Speaking with Vogue Italia, Kim K speaks about hiding her anger with Ye when she is around the kids.

“If it’s something concerning my kids’ dad and I’m upset, I try not to show as much emotion,” she said. “I have to be ready to explain why I’m upset and it might not be appropriate for them to know. There’s nothing worse than ‘You’ll understand when you’re older.’ I don’t want to be that person.”

Kardashian also spoke about how if it she is upset about something her kids can understand, she will let it show. “On Christmas morning, I cried when my mom gave me a doll house. My kids didn’t understand why, and I explained I had that at my dad’s house as a little girl.”

Recently, Kim Kardashian revealed she doesn’t let her kids keep up with news about their dad, Kanye West. The mom of four shares North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West with her ex-husband and takes all precautions to shield them from stories related to their father.

“When stuff is said, it’s a chain to my whole household, no TV, only Apple TV,” Kim revealed to her mom, Kris Jenner, during Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians. “I can’t risk Access Hollywood coming up next or anything on the news coming up with their dad mentioned and they want to watch,” Kim continued. “I have to figure out a way to, like, protect. And so they still haven’t seen anything, but I go into crisis mode.”

During this week’s episode of The Kardashians, which aired on June 1, Kim recalled that when she was married to Kanye, and he would make negative headlines, she would run around calling people behind his back, telling them, “It’s gonna be OK. It’s gonna be OK. Don’t worry. Just give him another chance.” Kim revealed that she used to “spend hours and hours and hours” of her days as “the clean up crew.” “That’s why you got divorced because you can’t do that to yourself,” Kris told her daughter.
During her confessional, Kim admitted, “It’s like the hardest feeling to watch someone you really loved and you have a family with just be so different than who you knew.”

Young Thug Wants Kanye West To “Answer The Phone,” Might Be Collaborating Soon

BUSINESS IS BUSINESS is already one of the more hyped-up album releases of the year so far, and recent posts from Young Thug on social media hint that the album rollout’s not over yet. Moreover, he took to Instagram to ask Kanye West to “answer the f***ing phone, it’s business.” In addition, on Twitter, he made the same call to action despite the Chicago rapper’s absence on the platform. “Kanye doesn’t have a Twitter but somehow he’ll see this Tweet,” Thug tweeted, fueling further hype around a single from these two. Not only that, but some believe this may be for a deluxe version of the album, which certainly has a lot of potential.

Sure, you might be one of the people that thinks BUSINESS IS BUSINESS was not as good as people wanted it to be. Also, Kanye West is understandably not the most sought-after artist right now, at least when it comes to fans taking issue with his antics as of late. All that said, there’s no denying that it’s still exciting to think of what these two could cook up- or rather, what they recorded prior to Young Thug’s arrest that might see the light of day. Their repertoire includes “Highlights” from The Life Of Pablo, “Remote Control” on Donda, and the excellent (although still unreleased) leak “Bad Night.”

Of course, this is far from the first time Thugger’s shouted out the Yeezy creative in any capacity. Not only are there lyrical mentions (the most recent one appearing on “Wit Da Racks” on BUSINESS IS BUSINESS), but he has a whole song named after him on JEFFERY. While this has a lot of potential, it’s also unclear whether a previous collab would release or if Ye would add a verse or production to a Young Thug demo and rework it. Regardless, it’s the only feature the Atlanta trap legend asked for so far on social media, so a whole deluxe album might not even be in the cards.

Thugger’s Tweet At Ye

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old recently denied a diss towards another MC who wasn’t on the album: Saweetie. People misheard a bar on the track “Want Me Dead,” and he name-dropped another rapper in the process. Thug used social media a lot in the lead-up to, and post-release celebration of, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. Fans don’t know whether this will stay the case for long, though they certainly hope so. Kanye West’s Response To Donda Academy Teachers’ Lawsuit

From April to June of this year, three former teachers at Donda Academy sued Kanye West on various grounds. First, two fired educators, and Black women, claimed that they were let go due to racial bias and called the institution “dystopian” and designed to please the artist’s “idiosyncrasies.” Moreover, the lawsuit also came against the school as a whole and three directors of it. In addition, they claimed that the firing came after they reported health code, education, and safety violations at the academy. Even though they raised issues to directors, Chekarey Byers and Cecilia Haley claim, they did nothing to resolve these issues.

Also, they alleged that teachers and students were barred from sitting in chairs, that students were forced to wear black head-to-toe, and based from wearing Nike or Adidas products. According to their suit, students could not leave the premises until the school day was completely over. “Throughout the entirety of Plaintiffs’ employment, the only lunch available for students was sushi, every single day,” the suit read. “Students were not allowed to bring any outside food or anything other than water. It was widely known that Defendant West spends $10,000 a week on sushi.” Another lawsuit from teacher Timanii Meeks claims that the school fired her after reporting that the school was unsafe.

Furthermore, Kanye West denied all allegations and accused wrongdoing, and wants to see the case dismissed. “The truth is, Ye has nothing to do with Donda’s policies, practices, and procedures relating to employee pay and wage statements,” court documents state. “Surely, Plaintiffs know that. But- as unfortunately is commonly the case for Ye, a famous artist and businessperson- in the present action, Plaintiffs have haphazardly tossed a meritless and barebones guilt-by-association theory into their complaint to garner press attention and the resulting settlement pressure that comes with it.

“Plaintiffs misleadingly depict the Donda Academy as a dystopian institution designed to satisfy Ye’s idiosyncrasies,” it continued. “None of it is true and the allegations do a disservice to the Donda Academy’s current staff and students and their parents who will attest to their positive experience as this case proceeds.” The same law firm represents all plaintiffs, and believes their dismissals to be “retaliatory.” For more updates and the latest news on Kanye West, log back into HNHH.

Kanye West Links Up With A Fan In Tokyo To Take Some Pictures

These days, Kanye West is much more of an elusive and stand-offish figure. Of course, that can be attributed to his many public controversies, brands cutting ties with him, and a new chapter in his life. However, during an seemingly recent outing in Tokyo, it looks like he had fun chopping it up with a fan who saw him. Moreover, an artist by the name of KIZUKIOTANI posted a couple of pictures with the Chicago MC on Instagram, posing together and putting on some smiles. What’s more is that the fan was apparently ready for the occasion, as he had a JESUS IS KING shirt on.

Furthermore, other posts on his IG page also show him rocking Ye’s merch or wearing similar styles. Overall, whether it was planned or random, it seemed like quite the lucky and surreal moment. Given that he is also an artist, perhaps they were able to link up beyond just a quick conversation. However, a lot of fans were just happy to see Kanye West smile with someone despite all the drama.

Another big Yeezy fan recently mentioned him in his favorite albums list. However that’s only notable because he’s a fellow famous rapper. Jack Harlow named Late Registration as his favorite from the 46-year-old. In fact, it’s the first album he named when asked for his top five albums on the Rap Radar podcast. Drake’s Nothing Was The Same, Outkast’s Aquemini, Jay-Z’s The Blueprint, and The Cool KidsWhen Fish Ride Bicycles or The Bake Sale also made the cut.

Meanwhile, another famous fan of Ye’s is Drake, though their history is complicated. Still, reportedly the Canadian artist was very interested in narrating the “Off The Grid” MC’s Netflix documentary. It didn’t end up panning out, but considering their feuds, it would have been quite surreal. For more news and the latest updates on Kanye West, stay up to date on HNHH.

Kanye West’s Shut-Down TV Show Pilot Surfaces Online

Kanye West has a lot of titles attached to him, but one that he apparently pursued that never got to manifest was “TV show mogul.” Moreover, according to reports from Far Out Magazine, the Chicago artist pitched a series to HBO back in 2007 that never got to see the light of day. Until now, that is, as a leak of the show’s presented pilot apparently found its way online thanks to Internet sleuths. According to reports and rumors complied over the years, the show was intended to be titled “A Little Inappropriate,” perhaps a little too fitting for a character like him. Furthermore, he wanted to fuse “Curb Your Enthusiasm” with “Entourage,” as he’s a big fan of Larry David’s work.

Other names involved in the cast were Don C, friend and designer, rapper GLC, Jeff Garlin (of “Curb” fame), and comedians JB Smoove and Wyatt Cenac. “Kanye knew he wasn’t a good improviser,” Cenac stated to Vulture back in 2013. “He’d read something that Seinfeld said about surrounding himself with better talent and that he would rise to the occasion. And so that was his hope.”

Kanye West’s Leaked TV Show Pilot

The leaked pilot above sees the 46-year-old juggle a CD signing with his rowdy crew of colleagues. Afterwards, he’s worried about bad fast-food breath when visiting a terminally ill fan for the Make-A-Wish foundation. However, Kanye West (whose Bape hoodie is zipped up to his face) discovers that the teen isn’t actually that sick. But he does think that he’s a better rapper than him. For fans of shows like “Curb Your Enthusiasm” or even something like “Veep,” this premise sounds right up those shows’ alleys.

According to reports, the Yeezy creative had already shot interviews for the first season. They included Nelson George, Professor Boyce Watkins, and Cornel West. Still, eventually HBO decided to pass. “HBO was like, ‘We didn’t pay for a show with these no-name motherf***ers. Find a way to put some Kanye in this,’” Cenac claimed. Considering all his current endeavors, a Ye show certainly sounds like it would be a fever dream. For the latest news and updates on Kanye West, stick around on HNHH.

Kanye West Unleashed “Yeezus” 10 Years Ago: Stream “Hold My Liquor” To Celebrate

Kanye West is in a wildly different place than he was ten years ago. In 2013, he returned to solo albums after a Jay-Z collab project and a G.O.O.D. Music compilation with one mission: erase his board and start over with a vengeance. His vehicle for that was that year’s Yeezus, an abrasive, industrial, and energetically relentless album that released a decade ago today. While hip-hop had already turned to a more experimental edge before, Ye’s 10-track effort brought those innovations to the mainstream in a big way. However, at the time, “Hold My Liquor” was among the most boundary-pushing on the tracklist, yet recent years are what have given it its elevated status in his discography.

To start, the features from Bon Iver and Chief Keef match the ghostly vibe of the track incredibly well. While Justin Vernon’s intro and bridge are a lost and ominous reflection of the indulgent lifestyle the song portrays, Sosa’s contributions bask in that hedonism rather than lament it. It’s an effective contrast, and one that the Chicago MC highlight in his long verse as well. But of course, Yeezus isn’t about the lyrics most of the time (as moments like the “sweet and sour sauce” line on “I’m In It” prove). Rather, the production on this track represents some of the most progressive, electronic-inspired, and otherworldly that Kanye West has ever worked with. Moreover, there are soaring guitars from Mike Dean, pulsating bass and synths that feel like a heartbeat, moments where the percussion melts like the bridge, and atmospheric synthesizers.

Kanye West’s “Hold My Liquor” Turns 10 Years Old Alongside Yeezus

On top of that, it’s filled with small metallic and distorted elements like the wail at the end of Kanye West’s verse lines. Overall, “Hold My Liquor” makes for a journey of a track on Yeezus that tries to take control of Ye’s destructive lifestyle with bold confidence. It’s a shame that he unfortunately continues to exhibit the most unrestrained parts of that primal nature in a negative way these days, but that’s also what makes the album so compelling: it was his darkest affirmation yet, but one that by its end displayed a hope that things would get better soon. Hopefully that’s still in the cards. Let us know your favorite Yeezus track to celebrate its tenth anniversary down in the comments. Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Come Together To Co-Parent Son Saint’s Basketball Game

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have had a rocky relationship to say the least, most recently due to the rapper’s erratic behavior and social media attacks against her and the family. However, they put that aside for the kids time and time again. Recently, the two went to their son Saint’s basketball game on Friday (June 16) at the Mamba Academy in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles. Moreover, they arrived separately, with the fashion mogul being the one to take their seven-year-old to the court. While the Chicago artist came with some company, his current wife Bianca Censori wasn’t there, although she bonded with the West kids in her own way.

The new couple recently went to a Hollywood bus tour after Ye’s wild birthday party. The event brought about rumors of a musical comeback and featured famous guests plus a controversial way to plate sushi: a naked woman. No matter the antics, it seems like Kim Kardashian is holding higher ground and trying her best to leave those worries behind. In fact, she threw their daughter North West a great birthday party of her own and took her to Dior with $1,250 to spend.

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West As Co-Parents

Still, that doesn’t mean that the 42-year-old doesn’t speak on her ex-husband from time to time. “I don’t want to be part of this narrative and it’s like, when is this ever gonna end?” she remarked in season three of “The Kardashians.” “Like, it never will and I’m stuck with this for the rest of my life. I still feel the need to not talk about it and protect it from my kids and I always will feel that way, but God, if people knew. I just would never do that to my kids. She actually doesn’t know,” she continued, referring to North.

“No TV, only Apple TV,” Kim Kardashian went on concerning Kanye West’s antics. “I can’t risk an Access Hollywood or anything on the news coming up with their dad mentioned and they want to watch. I have to figure out a way to protect and so they still haven’t seen anything, but then I go into crisis mode. Sometimes I feel like if he were to hit rock bottom, that’s his journey that he needs to figure out on his own. I used to spend hours and hours and hours of my day to be the clean-up crew. I just don’t have that energy.” For more updates on the split stars, log back into HNHH.
