After seemingly laughing off the accusations of assault on a police officer following her publicized brawl with Big Lex, reality star Joseline Hernandez has discovered that this was no laughing matter as she is now facing two felony counts of battery on an officer, according to TMZ.
Today(August 3), Hernandez was taken into custody following a court hearing in which she was hit with two counts of felony battery on an officer. It has not been confirmed whether or not she has been released.
Recently released bodycam footage shows Hernandez being combative with officers, which was the reason behind the initial resisting officers with violence charge. Hernandez has plead not guilty to all of the charges.

Radar Online shared the news on Monday (July 31), asserting that Hernandez is facing repercussions for assaulting a law enforcement official. “Florida prosecutors filed a series of charges against Hernandez. The list included felony resisting officers with violence, felony battery on law enforcement officer, misdemeanour battery, misdemeanour battery/touch or strike/cause bodily harm, and a misdemeanour trespass charge,” the outlet noted.

In her usual fashion, Hernandez doesn’t seem too bothered by the latest update, though she did tell The Shade Room in a recent interview that she felt “scared” in the moment when attempting to defend herself against police. “Even the beat can’t catch me

She made it abundantly clear that she wasn’t comfortable with being touched by any white men. From there, things only became more chaotic. The 36-year-old threw her phone at a man in the room attempting to calm her down. It’s been speculated that he’s the same voice who called Lex a “d*mb a** b**ch” when her and Joseline’s spat broke out.

As cops stepped in to de-escalate that drama, the multi-talent shoved one of them. In response, the other responding officers in the room took Hernandez to the ground as she continued to yell troubling homophobic and racial messages at them. The mother of one was eventually handcuffed, though she still resisted being taken away. This ultimately left police with no choice but to pick her up by the legs to carry her out.
