Jonathan Majors Reportedly Dropped From Multiple Projects

2023 was meant to be the year that Jonathan Majors broke out. After starring in 2019’s Last Black Man In San Francisco and 2020’s Da Five Bloods, Majors jumped to the MCU. He was first introduced in the Disney+ series Loki as “He Who Remains”, indicating that comics icon Kang would be the next big MCU villain. He then explicitly appeared as Kang in this year’s Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania. However, 2023, also saw Majors appear in Magazine Dreams, a film festival darling about a bodybuilder’s twisted journey for physical perfection, and Creed III, the latest in Michael B. Jordan’s acclaimed Rocky successor.

But all that might be coming to an end piece by piece. On March 25, Majors was arrested on charges of assault, strangulation, and harassment. This was in response to a report that he had attacked a 30-year-old woman in New York. Majors was released from custody and publicly denied the allegations, but was arraigned the following day. New reports indicate that Majors’ professional career is now being affected by the continuing legal proceedings.

Majors Splits With Reps, Dropped From Multiple Projects

According to a report from Deadline, multiple companies and upcoming projects have cut ties with Majors. The US Army dropped an advertising campaign featuring Majors in the days following his initial arrest. However, he has since been dropped by his representing agency, 360 Entertainment. This follows a similar move by PR firm The Lede Company soon after his arrest.

Additionally, Majors has now been reportedly dropped from several upcoming film projects. This includes Nadia Latif’s The Man In My Basement and an Otis Redding biopic entitled Otis And Zelma. In a move similar to that of the US Army, MLB’s Texas Rangers have also scrapped an ad campaign featuring Majors. However, what about Marvel? As mentioned, Majors is set to be the villain that the MCU builds towards in Phases Five and Six. Furthermore, Majors has already finished shooting Loki season two. However, Deadline‘s sources reveal that no discussions about replacing Majors have taken place at Marvel as of yet. Despite this, it’s clear that Majors has gone from a hot commodity to a pariah in the blink of an eye.

Jonathan Majors and Valentino ‘Mutually Agree’ for Actor to Not Attend 2023 Met Gala

Attorney for Jonathan Majors Releases Texts from Alleged Victim to Actor

The bad news continues to pour in for Jonathan Majors. The actor is currently battling a domestic violence charge and has lost his management and public relations representation. In addition, his trip to the Met Gala will not happen.

According to Deadline, Majors was set to attend the star-studded benefit gala with high fashion brand Valentino. The two sides have now “mutually agreed” not to have the actor in attendance.

This year’s Met Gala will be co-chaired by Dua Lipa, Roger Federer, Michaela Coel, and Penélope Cruz alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour. The event will be on May 1 and will salute late fashion icon, Karl Lagerfeld.

Management firm Entertainment 360 has let Majors go, according to Deadline. The decision came three weeks after his arrest, citing the company did not want to have affiliations with the actor’s behavior.

Majors also lost representation from his PR company, The Lede Company, which happened last month. Neither company offered a comment on their decision.

Jonathan Majors no longer has a manager or publicist, as both dropped him in the fall of his domestic violence arrest in New York City.

Entertainment 360 has let Majors go, according to Deadline. The decision came three weeks after his arrest, citing the company did not want to have affiliations with the actor’s behavior.

Majors also lost representation from his PR company, The Lede Company, which happened last month. Neither company offered a comment on their decision.

Marvel is also reportedly prepared to replace the actor if the investigation results return unfavorable. Marvel insider Jeff Snieder revealed that Majors, who is currently planned to be a key component of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, could be replaced, citing Majors’ team and Marvel aligned with a plan for handling the issue.

One of the names floating as an option is Snowfall’s Damson Idris.

“Even though there hasn’t been any movement on the Jonathan Majors front, I’ve heard that’s the kind of actor, who, like, if Jonathan Majors got the boot as Kang, someone like Damson Idris is the type of the person that [Marvel] may look at to replace him if that, in fact, happens,” said Sneider.

The next edition in the MCU is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, set for release on May 5, 2023, but Deadline notes Majors has already shot the second season of the Disney Plus series Loki. Deadline also notes they have heard no rumors of dropping the actor.

Jonathan Majors’ Met Gala Plans Cancelled, Actor And Valentino “Mutually Agreed” He Shouldn’t Attend

Just a few weeks ago, Jonathan Majors was undeniably one of the most envied men in Hollywood. He was constantly gracing red carpets and magazine covers while promoting projects like Creed III and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, all while entertaining audiences with his seemingly lovable persona. Unfortunately, things all came crashing down for the actor when he was arrested in late March. At the time, he allegedly got into a physical altercation with a woman he was romantically involved with.

The entertainer’s lawyers have been vehemently denying the claims coming out against him. They’ve even shared screenshots of messages from the rumoured victim. While Majors’ legal team obviously thought they were doing him a favour, many social media users argued that the “evidence” only makes him look more guilty, if anything. Things have been relatively quiet since then. However, it was announced on Monday (April 17) that he and his management team at Entertainment 306 have decided to part ways in wake of the allegations. Aside from that, his invitation to a major upcoming event has reportedly been revoked.

As Deadline reports, the 33-year-old was expected to attend the quickly approaching Met Gala. His look for the evening – which will be an homage to the late Karl Lagerfeld – was to be designed by Valentino. They’ve since “mutually agreed” with Majors that his attendance is no longer a good idea. The news is certainly disappointing for both the California native and his fans. Still, an optimistic update reveals that Marvel hasn’t yet had any conversations about dropping him from their cinematic universe.

The embattled star has already wrapped filming on the second season of Loki, which finds him bringing Kang the Conqueror to light. He’s also been cast in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but isn’t due to begin production on the project anytime soon. Are you disappointed that Jonathan Majors won’t be walking down the red carpet on the first Monday in May? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Jonathan Majors Dropped By Manager After Domestic Violence Allegations

Jonathan Majors is still struggling to overcome his domestic violence allegations. The recent arrest of the Avengers actor sent shockwaves through the world of pop culture. Law enforcement confirmed that his alleged victim was his girlfriend. According to reports, the couple was in a taxi when an argument broke out between them. TMZ alleges that Majors’ girlfriend saw another woman texting his phone, which led to an altercation. Furthermore, the reports suggest that Majors became physically aggressive when his girlfriend attempted to view the alleged text messages on his device.

The Creed III actor allegedly slapped his girlfriend when she attempted to check his messages, and then placed his hands around her neck. Furthermore, it was reported that law enforcement was called to the Chelsea area in Manhattan on Saturday morning, March 25, in response to this incident. Subsequently, Majors’ girlfriend was taken to a nearby hospital by authorities due to visible injuries on her face and body. Majors’ lawyers shared alleged messages from the woman that would clear the actor’s name if they’re legitimate. However, that doesn’t seem to be stopping people from dropping him left and right.

Majors’ Major Losses

The latest loss that Majors is suffering is that of his management. The actor and Entertainment 360 supposedly “mutually agreed” to part ways, which is another way of saying that he was dropped. Additionally, Majors has also lost his PR firm. According to Deadline, he has already shot season 2 of Loki. So, he will likely still be appearing in that. There have also apparently been zero talks at Marvel about removing Jonathan Majors from his role as Kang. That is a very small silver lining for Majors, as it is likely that his career hangs in the balance, regardless.

In the alleged text messages released by Majors’ lawyer, the actor’s girlfriend tells him that she told police not to charge him. “Please let me know you’re okay when you get this. They assured me that you won’t be charged,” she said in the text. “They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight. I’m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position.” What are your thoughts on the situation? Do you think Jonathan Majors deserves to be dropped before he is proven guilty? Cam’Ron: Jonathan Majors And Michael B. Jordan Photo Shoot Is The Reason I Didn’t See ‘Creed’

Last month, Creed supporting actor Jonathan Majors was accused of domestic assault, but the estranged girlfriend has since retracted her accusations. Those allegations ran parallel with the promotion of the third installment of the boxing flick, with many people criticizing both Majors and Michael B. Jordan’s appearances at public events. Now, Dipset general Cam’Ron said that his sole reason for not watching the new Creed movie was because of a photo shoot featuring Jordan and Majors.

Cam took to IG to post an image from the shoot between the two actors, with the caption reading, “This was the reason I didn’t see ‘Creed.’”

Even Fabolous chimed in on the post, saying, “This was a funny promo shoot for a boxing movie.”

Cam’ron Disses Michael B. Jordan & Jonathan Majors, Gets Blasted For It

The Dipset leader recently caught a lot of flack online for his criticism of Creed III‘s stars. Moreover, Cam’ron posted some pictures of Jonathan Majors hugging Michael B. Jordan from behind with the caption “The reason I didn’t go see creed.” Of course, a lot of people online were quick to express their problems with this post, as it engages in potentially homophobic or hyper-masculine rhetoric. As many pointed out in the comments, these are just two actors posing for pictures that are clearly just good friends. Still, some like Uncle Murda and Fabulous laughed at the post, and therefore at the two actors’ closeness.

It was actually good,” one user expressed in Cam’ron’s comments section. “Please let’s not promote ‘that’ narrative. Black not love/joy and friendship looks good on Blackman.” Others remarked that the New York MC really showed his age and old-headed mentality with this post. “The older you get bro I swear you get childish,” a fan commented, with another pointing out some discrepancies in Killa Cam’s argument. “That movie came out before these pictures hit the internet so this can’t be the reason you didn’t see the movie. You look like a hater and you reaching for this one.”

Cam’ron Clowns Michael B. Jordan & Jonathan Majors

“Says the lady in pink,” another clapped back, with a supporter adding, “You and Jim jones got pics like this. Tread lightly.” However, some comments took much stronger issue with Cam’ron’s post and pointed out biases and generational circumstances that get men to this point. “Black love and men embracing each other should be a normal everyday occurrence like it is in other cultures. The reason why a lot of these men out here kissing other men is because they didn’t get that type of intimate relationship with their own fathers. Male children also need kisses and hugs from their dads. But y’all don’t want to talk about that! And what’s sad if there were guns in this photo you would have wanted to see the movie. Black men tend to over compensate with violence because they are really hurting and lacking healthy intimacy on the inside.”

Meanwhile, this post actually comes at a bit of a strange moment for Jonathan Majors in particular. Moreover, he recently fell under police custody for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, although he’s since been let out as his lawyers argue his innocence. Many fans expressed shock at the news, and the jury’s still out on whether this reportedly false accusation forms part of a larger pattern. Regardless, stay logged into HNHH for the latest on Jonathan Majors, Michael B. Jordan, and Cam’ron.

Twitter Reacts To Jonathan Majors Texts, Many Think Lawyers Are Making Him Look Guilty

As March began, Jonathan Majors was feeling on top of the world, thanks to the arrival of two huge projects – Ant-Man: Quantimania and Creed III – which he worked incredibly hard on. Following the latter’s highly anticipated premiere, he and co-star/director Michael B. Jordan enjoyed their time in the spotlight, consistently making fans laugh (and swoon) with their antics. Unfortunately for the 33-year-old, things quickly came crashing down last weekend when he was arrested and charged with assault, among other things.

Since he was taken into custody, Majors’ legal team has vehemently denied any wrongdoing on his part. On Thursday (March 30), the defence shared screenshots of texts between the actor and his alleged victim, seemingly attempting to prove his innocence. However, as many social media users are pointing out, it could be argued that the receipts only make the accused attacker look more guilty. “Please let me know you’re okay when you get this,” one of the messages begins. They assured me that you won’t be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight.”

Jonathan Majors’ Attorney Unveils Alleged Texts

The anonymous woman went on to say that she was angered over the situation, and “will make sure nothing happens about this.” Aside from her lengthy paragraphs, the only words that came from Majors’ phone were “Did you leave the keys?” and “Goodbye, [redacted].” While they don’t exactly prove or disprove anything at this point, social media is having a field day reacting to the investigation’s latest update.

“Jonathan Majors’ lawyer really woke up and was like, ‘Let’s put out evidence that the girl did pass out and collapse and maybe people won’t ask how that happened if she says she grabbed his phone,’” one Twitter user quipped this morning. “You have to be the dumbest lawyer alive to think releasing texts from your client’s victim that have her taking the blame for injuries she received from him are evidence of his innocence instead of one of the clearest signs of domestic violence and an abusive relationship,” someone else wrote. Another person added, “Jonathan Majors got his lawyer from the same place Trump got his.” Keep scrolling to see more reactions, and make sure to tell us your thoughts on the situation in the comments afterward.

The text messages Jonathan Majors’ attorney stated would help his client’s domestic violence case have been released. In the screenshots obtained by TMZ, the alleged victim claims blame says she never asked for charges to be placed on the actor, and reveals she just got out of the hospital.

The attorney, Priya Chaudhry, stated the woman sent the below texts to Majors after he was arrested. She claims to be the one who initiated force on him. The woman doubled back, stating the officers would check on her again, and she reiterated it wasn’t an attack.

The incident allegedly started over a text message from a different woman to Majors. You can see the texts below.

Jonathan Majors has been charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor assault and harassment in New York City. The announcement came two days after Majors was arrested in New York City.

According to PEOPLE, legal documents from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office reveal Majors has been charged with three counts of assault in the third degree, aggravated harassment in the second degree, three counts of attempted assault in the third degree, and harassment in the second degree.

The woman Majors allegedly got physical and stated the actor struck her face with an open hand causing pain and a laceration behind her ears. Majors also allegedly grabbed the woman by her hand and neck, leading to “bruising and substantial pain.”

The charges stand despite Majors’ attorney stating he was “completely innocent” and “probably the victim” of an event with a woman he knows. She added, “We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”

NYPD responded to an assault on Sunday morning, finding the 33-year-old male, Majors, was involved in a dispute with a 30-year-old female who was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Majors is scheduled to return to court on May 8.
