Baby No. 4 has arrived for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Taking to Instagram, the two revealed their new child, via surrogate, was born on Monday. The son’s name is Wren Alexander Stephens.
“Our hearts, and our home, are officially full,” Chrissy wrote on Instagram. “And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you.”
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s family has grown a lot lately. On January 13, Teigen gave birth to daughter Esti Maxine Stephens. Now, only five months later, they’ve added Wren Alexander Stephens to the family. Wren, a boy, was born on June 19 via a surrogate.
Legend kept his announcement social post simple, sharing a few photos of the baby and his family, and writing, “Wren Alexander Stephens, our new love.”
For her post, Teigen went more in depth. In it, she explained how she’s always wanted to have four children, losing a previous baby to pregnancy complications, and what led to Wren:
“After losing Jack, I didn’t think I’d be able to carry any more babies on my own. To be honest, I’ve personally blocked out a lot of my mindset during that time, but one clear memory is being surrounded by people who wanted to make sure I wouldn’t go through that pain and loss again.
In 2021, we reached out to a surrogacy agency, with our first correspondence inquiring about perhaps having 2 tandem surrogates, to each bring us a healthy baby boy or girl. Twins, kinda?!
At some point, early in our surrogacy journey, I came out of a therapy session, walked downstairs and said to John — I want to try to carry just one more time. If it doesn’t work, we will be okay. We’ve already seen the worst. I promised I would be okay no matter what happened. I remember saying I just couldn’t go on wondering my whole life if I should have tried again.
And so we restarted the IVF process, the same process that gave us our beautiful Luna and Miles. We made new embryos. We did my transfer, and were so happy to learn it worked — we were pregnant with our little girl, Esti.
Around this same time, we also met the most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate we could ever imagine, Alexandra. I knew she was a perfect match for us the moment we spoke to her. All our wishes and dreams aligned. I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our children to play, I wanted dinner together, I wanted to lay my head on her belly and be able to feel the hiccups and kicks. I wanted them to be in our lives for as long as time would allow.”
After sharing about the birth, she continued, “We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens. Our hearts, and our home, are officially full. And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you.”
Megyn Kelly often has a lot to say. She recently took to complaining about Chrissy Teigen, who attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner with her husband John Legend on Saturday, April 29.
“She has, by my count, three minions following her — that’s minions in her view — following her, holding the dress or the train of her non-existent dress,” Kelly said on the SiriusXM podcast The Megyn Kelly Show, which premiered on Monday, May 1. “I can see underwear, okay? I can see London, I see France, I see Chrissy’s underpants, which nobody shows underpants at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.”
In a chat with a reporter for TMZ, Legend defends his wife. “Megyn, you know, she likes attention. She needs it after she got fired from Fox so she has to do what she’s gotta do to get attention.”
“She pissed all the conservatives off when she asked Trump a tough question so now she’s trying to figure out a way to win them back,” he continued. “That’s her attempt. She’s desperate.” He also added that “she can just shut up.” When asked about Teigen, he praised her, using descriptors like “down-to-earth” and “loving.”
It makes sense, considering Teigen once called Trump a “p*ssy-ass b*tch,” which Trump pressured Twitter to erase. She was also one of many users to publicly struggle with making blue check marks disappear during the whole verification fiasco, thanks to Elon Musk (she still has one to this day).
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are a celebrity power couple whose love story has captured the hearts of millions of fans worldwide. From their first encounter in 2006 to their beautiful family of five, Legend and Teigen have repeatedly proven that they are meant to be together. Legend, a Grammy award-winning singer, and Teigen, a successful model and cookbook author, first met on the set of Legend’s music video for “Stereo” in 2006. However, it wasn’t until they reconnected on the set of his 2007 music video for “Green Light” that they really hit it off.
After dating for several years, Legend proposed to Teigen during a Maldives vacation in 2011. The couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, in 2013. Since then, Legend and Teigen have become parents to four children” Luna, Miles, Jack, and their latest addition who was born this year. They’ve also weathered some difficult times together, including a struggle with infertility and the loss of their son Jack in 2020.
Through it all, Legend and Teigen have remained committed to each other and their family. Their love story inspires us all and reminds us that true love is worth fighting for. Here is a peak into the famous couple’s romance.
How They Met
This love story began in 2006 on the set of Legend’s music video for “Stereo.” Teigen was featured in the video; however, it wasn’t until they worked together again in 2007 on the set for “Green Light” that they really hit it off. According to Teigen, she was initially a bit intimidated by Legend and didn’t want to be too forward with him. However, the two eventually bonded over food and music and quickly became inseparable.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight nearly a decade ago, Legend revealed that he knew Teigen was the one for him early in their relationship. “I fell in love with her over the phone because she is good with those 140 characters on Twitter,” he said. Legend and Teigen’s connection was undeniable, and they continued to date and build a strong foundation for their relationship in the years that followed.
The Wedding
Legend and Teigen’s wedding was a romantic and intimate affair in September 2013 in Italy. The couple chose the picturesque Villa Pizzo for their big day, featuring stunning views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. Teigen wore three Vera Wang dresses throughout the day, each more beautiful than the last. Legend serenaded his bride with a song he wrote especially for her. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows in front of their close family and friends.
The reception was lively, with guests dancing and enjoying delicious food and drinks under the stars. Legend and Teigen even took to the dance floor for a choreographed routine to the song “All of Me.” Legend wrote that hit for Teigen and has since become a beloved classic. The wedding was a beautiful celebration of Legend and Teigen’s love and commitment to each other. It remains one of the most memorable celebrity weddings of recent years.
Their Family
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are proud parents to three adorable children: Luna, Miles, and their youngest, who arrived months ago. Luna was born in 2016 and has captured the hearts of fans worldwide with her adorable personality and fashion sense. Miles arrived two years later and is just as cute as his big sister. The family often shares glimpses of their life with Miles on social media, including his first steps and his love of music.
Legend and Teigen have been open about their struggles with infertility and their use of IVF to conceive their children. They have also been candid about their experience with postpartum depression and the importance of seeking help and support. In 2020, the parents were excited about their third child. Sadly, the baby, Jack, would suffer health issues in the womb, and a medically-induced abortion was needed. John and Chrissy were open about their grief and found support in sharing their story. Joyfully, at the top of this year, the couple welcomed their “Rainbow Baby” into the world.
Defending One Another
John Legend has been a vocal defender of his wife Chrissy in the face of online harassment and criticism. In recent years, Teigen has been the target of vicious trolling and abuse on social media. This is often for speaking out on political issues or sharing personal stories. Legend has supported Teigen throughout these attacks, speaking out against online bullying and defending her right to speak her mind.
Legend has also spoken out about the toll that online harassment can take on mental health for Teigen and anyone subjected to it. He has called for greater accountability for online trolls. He also wants social media platforms to do more to protect their users from abuse. Through it all, Legend has shown himself to be Teigen’s loving and supportive partner. They are both also passionate advocates for social justice and mental health awareness.
John Legend has never been one to not speak his mind. From his Twitter rants about former president Donald Trump to even his estranged friendship with Ye, the singer wants all the smoke. In recent years, Legend has been enjoying fatherhood, and putting out great music (so other guys can become fathers too). However, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t take the time to discuss politics and world issues.
The legendary singer recently sat withTime 100 and shared his thoughts regarding reproductive rights and other parts of being pro-choice. “We have to speak up for reproductive rights, absolutely,” John legend responds as cheers from the crowd rained down. The “Ordinary People” singer went on to say, “It’s not a pro-life agenda, it’s a pro-control over women’s reproductive choices agenda.” Additionally, Legend is referring to the Dobbs decision, which deems there is no constitutional right to abortion. Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, there have been more motions to limit women’s reproductive rights.
John Legend Gets Real About Women’s Reproductive Rights
“I think America, now that the Dobbs decision has come down, is realizing the level of control and authoritarianism that would be required to implement the so-called ‘pro-life’ agenda,” John Legend responds. Additionally Legend notes, “It’s trying to take America back to an era where women didn’t have autonomy or didn’t have control over their economic decisions and of course, their body.” He adds, “When you talk about miscarriages and late-term abortions, often, they’re the same thing.” John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen have had many difficulties when it comes to childbirth, which is understandable as to why Legend takes such a stance.
Legend’s wife shared last year that a miscarriage she had in 2020 was actually a late-term abortion needed to save her life. This prompted the interviewer to ask about what role men need to play in protecting those rights. The singer continues, “These conversations are life or death for these women.” “30 weeks. 35 weeks. When they have to make these wrenching decisions.” Legend shares. “It is the hardest decision they’ll make.” He notes how traumatic, painful, and harrowing the process is. These types of decisions aren’t easy to make for anyone, it’s great to see John Legend using his platform to shed light on what men need to do to support reproductive rights. Check out the rest of the interview and let HNHH know your thoughts on women’s rights.

Legend’s wife, Chrissy Teigen, had revealed last year that a miscarriage she had in 2020 was instead a late-stage abortion that was needed to save her life — which prompted the question from the interviewer about what role men need to play to protect those rights.
“These conversations are life or death for these women,” Legend says later in the video. “30 weeks. 35 weeks. When they have to make these wrenching decisions, it is the hardest decision they’ll make. It is traumatic. It is painful. It is harrowing.”
Metro Boomin played Coachella Friday, April 14, and he truly brought the heat, complete with a notable lineup of surprise guests. He opened his set with John Legend, with the two performing “On Time” together.
Future then joined Metro for six songs, including “Mask Off,” “Superhero (Heroes & Villains),” and “Wicked.” They also teased that their album is on the way.
After a brief interlude, in which he played the song he has with 21 Savage, Metro was then joined by the fellow rapper, and they went on to play six songs. Among the selections were some of their collabs, including “Bank Account” and “No Heart,” and a cover of Drake’s “Knife Talk.”

The Weeknd and Mike Dean then continued Metro Boomin’s guest lineup, where they played the live debut of “Double Fantasy,” according to Setlist.FM. During The Weeknd’s appearance, he also seemed to shade Rolling Stone, after leaving them out of the regular lyrics to “Heartless,” given a recent article came out about his upcoming HBO series, The Idol.
Tyler The Creator‘s latest video from Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale is a laid-back, stripped-down affair. Much like its song, “Heaven To Me,” the video is a one-take shot that sees Tyler rapping the lyrics from the unreleased track in his home studio before taking a walk outside — while he keeps rapping — to enjoy the sunshine, one of the themes of the reflective lyrics.
The song finds Tyler rhyming over the Kanye West-produced beat from John Legend’s 2006 single “Heaven.” In the first verse, he takes stock of his current blessings, and although he certainly has a few luxury items to flex, he seems to be appreciating the simple things as well. “We nappin’ in parks, we in the sun gettin’ darked up,” he grins.
The second verse is a hopeful look at T’s future, with a wife and a son, a big backyard, a yacht on the dock, and a helicopter to fly his mom in. But still, his number-one hope is something more elusive: “That’s really heaven at forty,” he asserts. “N****, havin’ good health.” The third verse is a nostalgic rumination of the things that made Ty happy in the past, such as “Peglegs, Ice Cream shoes, the Mr. Krabs watch,” but when he stumbles over the flow, he just keeps it going, showing that the fun is as much in the process as the product.
“Heaven To Me” is Tyler’s fourth video from the deluxe version of his Grammy-winning 2021 album, following “Dogtooth,” “Sorry Not Sorry,” and “Wharf Talk.”

Conversations about record deals are always controversial conversations within Hip Hop, and John Legend is giving some insight into his relationship with G.O.O.D. Music. The Chicago crooner’s career developed thanks to his connection to Kanye West’s label, as the two Windy City artists collaborated extensively. They partnered on several albums and delivered classic hits, but a fallout over Ye’s antics caused a divide. Legend took issue with West advocating for Donald Trump, and later, the Rap icon’s inclusion in the 2020 Presidential Election also gave Legend pause.
However, the R&B hitmaker doesn’t regret a moment with G.O.O.D. Music. West’s label has endured a bit of unraveling in recent years due to his ongoing controversies. Legend recently chatted with The Breakfast Club and spoke about his decision to sign with West’s label amid pushback from his team. “All of these decisions, though, there were people in my camp that didn’t want me to sign with Kanye when I signed with him,” Legend revealed. “‘Cause I signed with G.O.O.D. Music, and I signed through G.O.O.D. Music to Columbia Records. So, all of my first few albums were through G.O.O.D. Music to Columbia Records.”
John Legend Recalls Uncertainty With G.O.O.D. Music
“And you give up certain things when you sign to an artist’s production company, he continued. “But, I felt like it was the right move for me because creatively, we were in a great place together and his star was ascending as a producer and as an artist. I felt like being a part of that team was gonna propel my career to a place that it needed to be. And it did! And, it was really important for me to be with G.O.O.D. Music for my first few albums. My career wouldn’t be where it is without that. And then, when it’s time to move on, it’s time to move on. But we had a really successful run together.”
Legend noted that “hindsight is 20/20” because it all worked out well for everyone involved. However, at the time, Legend was unsure about his future. He did his best to “plan ahead” but admitted that after inking the G.O.O.D. Music deal, he was like any other budding artist, hoping for the best. Their career paths have taken them to extraordinary heights, but these days, the personal relationship between West and Legend is strained.
Changes In Kanye West
In a November 2022 interview with the On With Kara Swisher, LEgend spoke about changes he’d seen in his former friend. “I do find him different than he was back then.” He added, “I didn’t see hints of this kind of harmful behavior back then. We have not been friends for a while now, and so, I’m not personally doing anything. But I do know people who are, and a lot of people are concerned about him.”
