Jamie Foxx Reportedly In Stable Condition

It’s been a tough month for Jamie Foxx fans. The actor was suddenly hospitalized in April while on the set of his upcoming Netflix film, Back In Action. It was the latest delay for a production that had been plagued by fraud and bad weather. Despite assurances that Foxx was recovering, fans remained worried. Those concerns were exacerbated when individuals close to Foxx began asking fans to “pray for Jamie”.

However, the same day as the call for prayer went out, Foxx’s Instagram posted for the first time since his hospitalization. But the joy from that was short-lived as sources close to Foxx revealed that he was still in the same condition as he was before. Despite this, new information grants a clearer picture of where Foxx is at in his recovery.

According to sources who spoke with PEOPLE, Foxx is in stable condition but remains hospitalized for the time being. “Jamie is stable and not in a life-threatening situation now. “[Doctors] are doing more tests and want to be completely sure that he will be okay before allowing him to leave.” Furthermore, Foxx has been advised to “keep his stress levels down” once he is discharged. This suggests Foxx may need to spend additional time recovering at home once he leaves the hospital. However, as the nature of his medical emergency remains unclear, this is only speculation.

However, this may be difficult for Foxx, who apparently is not a fan of sitting back and relaxing. The hospital is “the last place Jamie wants to be” according to PEOPLE‘s source. “He has a lot of projects going on. He gets things done; he is focused and astute. What happened to him medically is serious enough to keep him in the hospital,” the source continued. Furthermore, there is currently no timetable for when Foxx will be discharged. “His family and friends are supporting him and are there for him. There has been no word on when he is leaving the hospital,” a different source told PEOPLE. Be sure to check back with HotNewHipHop for all the latest updates on Jamie Foxx’s situation.

Jamie Foxx’s Condition Remains Unchanged Despite Instagram Update: Report

The better part of the last month has found much of Hollywood showing concern for Jamie Foxx. He’s been in the hospital recovering from a health scare for the past three weeks. The multi-talent was on the set of his latest Netflix project when a medical complication caused him to reportedly have to be revived and immediately taken in for further treatment. It remains unclear exactly what ailment Foxx is suffering from, though it’s obviously serious. Thankfully, after worrying the world due to a lack of information, his Instagram feed lit up with a message earlier this week.

“Appreciate all the love!!!” the “Gold Digger” hitmaker – or his team – wrote over a black screen, “Feeling blessed 🙏🏿❤🦊.” Of course, the good news relieved some of the stress friends, fans, and family have been feeling. However, according to Page Six, Foxx’s health may not have improved much at the time the post was shared. An insider told the outlet, “Nothing had changed. He was still in the same condition,” when the update was sent out.

Jamie Foxx’s IG Page Provides an Update

Elsewhere, Kevin Hart shared some of the conflicting information he’s received on the Impaulsive podcast on Wednesday (May 3). The comedian noted that he doesn’t know the “exact details” of what’s happening with Foxx. Still, he said there’s been “a lot of progression” in his longtime friend’s case. Hart further explained that things have been kept so tight because “Jamie’s always been a private person to a certain degree.”

“Everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy – all that stuff is seen and felt,” the father of four added, urging followers to continue sending their well wishes and good energy the 55-year-old’s way. He won’t be returning to the upcoming season of Beat Shazam to host alongside his daughter, Corrine Foxx. Nick Cannon will be stepping in as guest host in his pal’s absence. The first episode will be arriving on May 23rd. Make sure to keep Jamie Foxx in your thoughts and prayers at this time, and tap back in later for any updates on his health, as well as on your other favourite celebrities.

Tyrin Turner Claims He Confronted Diddy At Jamie Foxx’s House

Diddy and Tyrin Turner both had their spotlights in the 90s. Diddy was the hop hop mogul helping define the genre in the decade alongside the likes of Suge Knight. Meanwhile, Tyrin Turner found success with roles in films like Menace II Society and Belly. Despite this, it’s safe to say that Diddy has had a more successful and consistent career.

However, according to a new interview with Turner, it turns out that the two of them might have had a not-so-positive interaction. Diddy was famous for his 90s beefs, primarily the one stemming from his fall out with Suge Knight. According to the actor, he confronted the rapper and businessman at none other than the house of Jamie Foxx.

Turner Opens Up About Diddy Confrontation

Speaking on the Art Of Dialogue show, Turner spoke about defending Jamie Foxx from Diddy’s wrath. “It was a total misunderstanding,” he explained. “I think Puff almost fell and tripped — you know, we was at Jamie [Foxx]’s house. I think he kind of tripped or something. And brother, you know, he kind of laughed. And I guess it wasn’t funny to Puff. You know what I mean?” Turner said. “So Puff kinda put, you know, like — ‘Hey, come here.’ What’s funny, or whatever. And I see it from my peripheral. And I’m like, that’s my brother. Puffy don’t know my brother. This is weird. That ain’t — this don’t look cool. So I’m like — I pushed my brother out the way, and I’m like, hold on.” Turner continued.

So Turner, a long-time friend of Foxx’s, confronted Diddy about it. “And I asked Puff, ‘you know him?’ And Puff is like, ‘Nah, playboy,’ and I’m like, ‘Aye, n-gga, that’s my brother. I’ll touch everything in here for my brother. Period.’ So me and Puff, we end up having a conversation, as men, we shook hands and everything was great.” According to Turner, the confrontation did not go any further than an exchanging of words, with the pair able to squash their temporary beef. While the story is nothing more than a tense interaction many years ago, it’s an interesting story behind two 90s heavyweights.

Jamie Foxx’s Instagram Active For First Time Since Hospitalization

Barring the recently-begun WGA strikes, the hospitalization of Jamie Foxx is the biggest saga in Hollywood right now. The veteran actor reportedly suffered a stroke on the set of the Netflix action-comedy Back In Action. He has been in an Atlanta hospital ever since. Foxx has three projects releasing this year – Strays, God Is A Bullet, and They Cloned Tyrone. Back In Action is one of five projects Foxx is involved in that do not have a release date.

While a number of famous figures, such as Martin Lawrence and Nick Cannon, have reportedly spoken with Foxx, the actor himself has not given a statement since he was hospitalized. Cannon has also taken over Foxx’s presenting duties for the gameshow “Beat Shazam”. However, fans have seemingly been given a sign from the actor himself.

Jamie Foxx Seemingly Posts To Instagram

For the first time since his hospitalization, Jamie Foxx’s social media accounts have been active. A post appeared on his official Instagram with the message “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed 🙏🏿❤🦊” posted over a black background. At the time of writing, the post has been liked over 133,000 times. Comments from the likes of Ludacris, Brett Gray, and DJ Khaled have appeared beside the post. The last post before the May 3 update was a drone video of Foxx showing off his yacht.

However, fans should be cautious about taking this as a definitive sign that Foxx is on the mend. There is absolutely no proof whatsoever that the post is from Foxx. It could have easily been posted by one of his family members or associates. Concern on social media has begun to rise about the state that Foxx is in, which could have led to a post that would assuage concerns. Additionally, only a few hours before the post, friends were reportedly urging people to “pray for Jamie”. Despite this, if this post is from Foxx, then it is a great sign to see that he is in a position to post to social media. Hopefully, this means we will see more from him in the coming days and he strengthens himself and continues towards recovery.

Corinne provided the first update on her father back in April. “We wanted to share that my father Jamie Foxx experienced a medical complication yesterday,” she wrote at the time. “Luckily due to quick action and great care he is already on his way to recovery. On April 21, a source for PEOPLE told the outlet that he is “OK” but “still in the hospital.” Martin Lawrence also told Extra at the time that he’s heard positive updates. “Well, I hear he’s doing better,” he told the outlet at his Hollywood Walk of Fame star’s unveiling ceremony. “My prayers go out for him every night and just wishing the best for him, one of the best that we got in Hollywood. Not only one of the best entertainers, but a good person.”

Nick Cannon also remarked that he’s praying for Foxx during an interview with ET. “You see, I posted on Instagram,” he said. “I literally have been saying prayers out loud. Words of affirmation for my big brother, I know he’s doing so much better. I’m actually about to do something special for him, and doing him a favor. I can’t really say what it is, but it’ll be out there soon. I was reluctant to go all the way there, and even talk about it, but he gave me the blessing, so it’s a beautiful thing. He’s awake. They say he’s alert, so, we love it.”

Foxx began hosting Beat Shazam when it launched on Fox back in 2017. In the time since, the show has put out five seasons and 64 episodes. Foxx’s hospitalization came while filming a Netflix movie by Seth Gordon titled Back in Action in Atlanta with co-stars Cameron Diaz, Glenn Close, and Kyle Chandler.

Jamie Foxx’s ‘Beat Shazam’ Will Reportedly Replace Him With As Host While He Remains Hospitalized For A Mystery Condition

Jamie Foxx remains in the hospital after suffering some sort of medical emergency last month while in Atlanta for his latest flick Back In Action. Foxx’s daughter Corinne confirmed that the actor was “on his way to recovery,” in an Instagram post on April 12th.

Due to his condition, Foxx will be replaced on Beat Shazam, the music gameshow which he hosts alongside Corinne. Corinne is also reportedly not returning for the new season, which begins filming this week, according to TMZ, in order to stay with her father in Atlanta.

Kelly Osbourne seemingly confirmed via Instagram that she would step in for Corinne as the show’s DJ. In a now-deleted Instagram story (via Page Six), Osbourne was seen on set, where an emcee was heard introducing Nick Cannon, who is expected to replace his pal Foxx, though no official announcement has been made yet.

Cannon recently gave a brief update to Entertainment Tonight, saying that Foxx’s condition had been improving. “Man, I’m praying. You see, I posted on Instagram. I literally have been saying prayers out loud. Words of affirmation for my big brother,” Cannon told ET, adding, “I know he’s doing so much better because I’m actually about to do something special for him, and doing him a favor.”

It seems like Cannon’s mystery favor involves him hosting the competition show while Foxx is in recovery. He sure does love hosting! In addition to excessive procreation.
