Sexyy Red Pops Out At Drake’s New Orleans Tour Stop For “Rich Baby Daddy”

Sexyy Red and Drake continue their strong collaborative bond by reuniting on one of their first link-ups. Moreover, months after she joined his It’s All A Blur trek with 21 Savage last year, she popped out as a special guest for his J. Cole assisted tour, Big As The What? This happened last night (Wednesday, March 6) for their New Orleans show, a second of which is happening tonight (Thursday, March 7) and should also feature the “SkeeYee” hitmaker. They both seemed to have a great time together onstage, and it continues their streak of meeting points and team-ups as two of the biggest hip-hop stars out right now.

Furthermore, this follows some other exciting news relating to this performance trio of Drake, Sexyy Red, and J. Cole. Moreover, the latter two were recently announced to perform at the Dreamville Festival this year, with other headliners including Nicki Minaj and SZA. Overall, it should be a very exciting and star-studded affair, and Drizzy knows this thanks to the amazing time he had at the festival last year. Fans hope that Sexyy and Cole will bring their same great energy to these sets.

Drake Brings Out Machine Gun Kelly & Doe Boy For Cleveland Show

Drake brought out two hometown musicians in Machine Gun Kelly and Doe Boy as he hit up Cleveland, Ohio. The walkout marked the latest stop on the “It’s All A Blur – Big As The What?” Tour. However, some fans questioned where Kid Cudi, another Cleveland legend, was.

However, Kelly is a pretty good pull. The pop punk artist is famously proud of his hometown. Late last year, he appeared on Travis Kelce’s podcast and tried to get the tight end to return home. “I’m sure you get asked this question behind closed doors a lot, but I would be remiss if due to the nature of our friendship and just as a Clevelander if I did not insert this question personally. I will give you $500,000 cash upon arrival just for shopping or whatever you want. As well as matching that same amount as a donation to both of our high schools — both Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights — as well as everyday breakfast and coffee delivery from my restaurant, if you would just come home and put on these colors right here. Come on home, Trav! Come home, put these colors on and rock the city,” MGK said while calling into New Heights.

Drake Jokingly Asks Canadian Government To Annex Buffalo

Meanwhile, Drake jokingly requested that the Canadian government annex the City of Buffalo to allow his friends living under travel restrictions to see him perform. “@canada can we make Buffalo a province for a day so my friends that can’t travel can come see me perform…just this one time,” Drake wrote on Instagram. The It’s All A Blur – Big As The What? Tour is scheduled to arrive in Buffalo next week. The tour, featuring Lil Durk and J. Cole, is an extension of the tour Drake did last year with 21 Savage.

Buffalo has long been used as “not Canada” by various entities. When COVID travel restrictions made it difficult for MLB teams to visit Toronto, the Blue Jays briefly relocated to their minor league affiliate in Buffalo for several games. Buffalo is a common tour stop for musicians due to its size and promixity to Canada. The city is around 28 miles from the Canadian border. However, the Canadian government has yet to respond to Drake’s request.

Drake Slimes Fan On “Big As The What?” Tour

Drake and J. Cole are currently traveling the United States on their It’s All A Blur tour expansion, Big As The What? Of course, fans are loving it, especially since it’s not every day that two of the greatest rappers of the past fifteen years decide to hit the road together. However, a lot of fans also wondered what extra antics or spectacles would accompany their solid performances, and they certainly weren’t disappointed by the results. Moreover, a video surfaced online on Friday (February 16) of the 6ix God using a massive bucket to slime a fan, referencing his For All The Dogs SZA collab, “Slime You Out.”

Not only that, but Drake also recently took some time to address his skeleton outfit for this tour, which many fans clowned on. “Everybody had jokes yesterday, asking why I wore the spine out here,” he told the crowd at his second Tampa show of the trek. “I wore the spine because most of these guys that I look in the eyes are spineless as f**k so I had to wear the whole backbone. Plus, we made that s**t out of the skeletons you got in your closet, so be careful who you talking to.”

Drake Drops A Bucket Of Slime On A Fan: Watch

Fortunately for fans, this tour isn’t the only way in which they can engage with new Drake content these days. In fact, he just released a new collab with Yeat, “As We Speak,” which serves as somewhat of a deluxe cut for the latter’s brand-new album, 2093. What’s more is that its distorted and industrial instrumental, mixing together a lot of woozy and grandiose aesthetics, might be the most unique beat that the Toronto MC has hopped on in recent memory. Some might say that it’s the most unorthodox sonic pallet of his entire career, but we’ll save that debate for your takes in the comments section down below.

Meanwhile, this is also an opportunity for the 37-year-old to give back, as he usually does on the road. He recently offered to pay for a fan’s surgery while onstage, which is one of his many acts of kindness as a performer. Hopefully the Big As The What? tour gives us many more amazing moments -– and a whole lot of slime. For more news and the latest updates on Drake, stay posted on HNHH.

Drake Teases New Music While On Tour With J. Cole

Drake hinted at considering releasing new music while on traveling with J. Cole and Lil Durk for the It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What? Performing in St. Louis on Tuesday night, the Toronto rapper revealed he’s itching to make more music. The revelation comes despite previously telling fans he intends to take a break following the release of For All The Dogs.

“You know, I said I was taking a break and all that sh*t, but I’m right back on the road again,” he told the crowd. “It’s hard for me to stay away from y’all — I really do love you. You never know. I might get bored and start making some new music on the road, see where it goes in the next little while.”

As for his plans to step away from music, he explained on his SiriusXM radio show, Table for One, that he wanted to focus on his health. “I probably won’t make music for a little bit,” he said at the time. “I’m going to be real with you: I need to focus on my health, first and foremost — and I’ll talk about that soon enough. Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life. I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach so I need to focus on my health, and I need to get right, and I’m going to do that. I have a lot of other things that I would love to focus on.”

Drake Teases Plans For New Music

Elsewhere during the concert, Drake offered to cover surgery costs for one fan in the audience. Be on the lookout for further updates on Drake on HotNewHipHop.

Drake & J. Cole Receive Gorgeous OVO Owl Cake

Drake and J. Cole are easily two of the biggest artists in all of hip-hop right now. Overall, they have delivered some massive hits both on their own and together. Now, however, they have joined forces on the It’s All A Blur – Big As The What? tour. They have been going through a plethora of big cities, and fans have enjoyed the performances so far. For the last couple of nights, they have been in St. Louis. The city loves these two artists, and it isn’t often that the Midwest gets to see superstars roll through.

That said, it seems like St. Louis decided to show out when it comes to giving the artists some welcoming presents. For instance, in the post below from DJ Akademiks, you can see that Drizzy and J. Cole got themselves an amazing OVO owl cake. This life-size owl was covered in gold and the details are extremely impressive. Moreover, the cake was surrounded by cupcakes that were dressed in logos for Lil Durk, Cole, and Drake. It was a pretty cool gift that certainly made an impression.

Drake & J. Cole Have Their Cake And Eat It Too

Now that these two are on tour, there have been rumors that a collaborative album could very well be on the horizon. Overall, this has not been confirmed, and there is no point speculating on this any further. However, it just goes to show that there is a real appetite for something fresh from these two. Cole is currently working on an album of his own, and we would not be surprised if Drake gets a verse on it. Hopefully, we get some information on that album sooner rather than later.

Drake Offered A Pretty Solid Explanation As To Why He’s Been Wearing A Skeleton Costume On Stage

Drake has been making headlines this week — in more ways than one. The rapper is currently on the It’s All A Blur — Big As The What Tour with J. Cole, and some of his onstage outfits have already garnered much buzz. During one of the nights, Drake has worn a skeleton costume, with a large visible spine.

Of course, Drake has gotten clowned for the costume. However, he explained to a crowd at one of the shows why he chose to wear that costume. And his reasoning is pretty solid.

“I wore the spine because most of these guys that I look in the eyes are spineless as f*ck,” he said.

He continued, saying, “We made that sh*t out of the skeletons you got in your closet so be careful who you talking to.”

It’s not clear who “these guys” are, but this particular message was met with cheers from the audience.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Lil Durk would be joining Drake and J. Cole on the It’s All A Blur — Big As The What Tour for select dates. Durk has previously collaborated with Cole on “All My Life” and Drake on “Laugh Now, Cry Later.”

You can see a clip from the show above.

Drake Responds To The Criticism Of His Ridiculous On-Stage Skeleton Bones Costume

Drake is easily one of the biggest artists in the entire world. Consequently, everything he does is going to be scrutinized. That has rung true this week, although not for the best of reasons. However, he does have one saving grace which is his “It’s All A Blur – Big As The What” tour with J. Cole. Overall, this is an incredible arena tour that is bringing two of the biggest hip-hop artists ever, together. The tour just started, and Drizzy is already creating some buzz with his on-stage attire.

If you were paying attention over the weekend, you would know that many were making fun of his Dry Bones-inspired outfit. There was some sort of spine attached to the back and it formed a unique skeleton shape. Fans thought that it looked pretty ridiculous, even by Drake’s standards. However, with all of the criticism making the rounds online, the artist decided to explain himself. In the video below, you can hear Drake address the crowd and give a pretty unique answer.

Drake Speaks His Mind

Essentially, he wanted to showcase that he has a spine after coming face-to-face with so many spineless people in the industry. Fans in Akademiks’ comments section were hoping for an explanation about something else. Moreover, those who did address this particular video, noted that it was a bit of a corny answer. Throughout his career, Drake has been accused of being corny, but he has never really cared about all of that. Instead, he does him and that has always been good enough.

With this new tour going on, will you be attending? If so, which dates are you looking forward to the most? Lil Durk Will Hit The Road With Drake & J. Cole On “It’s All A Blur – Big As The What? Tour”

Lil Durk had reason to celebrate this past weekend after nabbing his first-ever GRAMMY Award. The Chicago, Illinois MC has been in the game for many years at this point. But, he was not able to nab that iconic trophy; until Sunday, February 4. Durk got to walk up onstage and thank the fans and everyone involved for winning Best Melodic Rap Performance. “All My Life” featuring J. Cole beat out some stiff competition.

The other nominees were Burna Boy and 21 Savage’s “Sittin’ on Top of the World,” Doja Cat’s “Attention,” Drake and 21 Savage for “Spin Bout U,”
and SZA with “Low.” On top of the recognition, Durk has also been doing his thing in 2024. He laid down a great verse on 21’s new album american dream on the track “dangerous” with Metro Boomin. Now, Lil Durk will be hitting the road in the coming days.

What Time Does J. Cole Go On Stage For The ‘Big As The What Tour?’

The 2024 Grammys are the talk of the music world right now, but it’s a fleeting moment that will be old news soon. Another recent happening that’ll have more staying power, though, is Drake and J. Cole’s It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?, which just launched a few days ago. If you’re a Cole stan wondering when he takes the stage, or you’re just a tour trivia buff, here’s what to know.

What Time Does J. Cole Go On Stage For The It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?

The tour is pretty fresh, with only two shows down so far. It does appear a trend is starting to form, though. Both concerts have started with Drake going through a 30-ish-song solo set (more on Drake’s own starting time here) before Cole comes out for ten tracks of his own. Then the two come together to close things out with a joint performance.

Per setlist.fm data, at the February 2 concert at Tampa, Florida’s Amalie Arena, Cole took the stage for his solo set at 10:50 p.m. The next show, at the same venue on February 4, Cole popped up at 10:45. So, it looks like that’s about the time they’re shooting to have Cole on stage, at around 10:45 or 10:50.
