Chris Brown & Tyla Clowned By Fans For Picture Together

Chris Brown recently hit up Tyla’s birthday party on Tuesday night (January 30), and fans may remember the two’s musical ties. Moreover, she opened up for his Under The Influence tour in Europe last year, and their sets’ blends of pop, R&B, amapiano, Afrobeat, and so much more results in a lot of chemistry. But based on a particular snap from the “Water” singer’s b-day bash, fans think that chemistry is not exactly photogenic. “They both look a mess here,” one fan commented under a post featuring the picture on Twitter, with another adding, “See this is why nobody likes y’all bc the hell would you post him looking like that.”

Of course, this is all just mean jokes and assumptions online, because the camera is a sneaky backstabber sometimes. Many other videos and photos of the event show Chris Brown and Tyla in a more flattering light, if you thought the first one was unflattering to begin with. Regardless, it’s an irrelevant conversation to have about two superstars, especially ones whose visual presentations are key to their appeal and success. The South African rising star has a new project on the way, and we’re sure that she will treat her visuals with care, so why are we pressed about the random picture that someone else took?

That aside, there’s been a lot to discuss in the headlines recently when it comes to Chris Brown, as is unfortunately the case given his often controversial takes or ever-present history of abuse. No matter what you think of that, it’s at least heartening to see that the recent discussion revolves around something as simple as a rap beef. He and Quavo have been at odds for a while now, and a recent run-in at Paris Fashion Week confirmed that it’s ongoing. Hopefully they can patch things up eventually, but to be honest, it doesn’t seem that serious to begin with.

Fans React

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old artist will likely continue to enjoy her rapid success, including a follow-back from Drake. She knew this would come eventually, and to see this manifestation is always satisfying for a young creative. Let’s just hope that fans don’t make such a fuss about a pic amid their more relevant exploits. For more news and the latest updates on Chris Brown and Tyla, log back into HNHH.

Ari Lennox Dons A Helmet At Her Show After Bottle-Throwing Incident

Ari Lennox recently learned the hard way that it’s not the best time to be a live performer right now. Moreover, we’ve seen a pretty common trend of concertgoers throwing things at artists for various reasons, of which most of them are quite disruptive or disrespectful. For example, as she opened up for Rod Wave on his tour recently, someone in the crowd threw a water bottle at her, which caused her to pop off on whoever did it quite aggressively– and understandably. However, it seems like the Dreamville singer found a temporary and fashionable security solution to this risk. During her opening set on this tour on Thursday night (November 30) in Oakland, she wore a helmet to protect herself from any serious flinging.

Furthermore, this happened as footage emerged of security confronting the girl who threw the bottle at Ari Lennox. In fact, they hilariously gave the bottle back to her, so perhaps even the strictest of guards keeps things professional where most of us would’ve thrown the bottle away. Regardless, she joked whether she should keep the helmet on, and it seems like her set went swimmingly after that. Not bad for someone who is typically known for bubbly and positive music to go from full-on fronting to playful aloofness.

Ari Lennox Performs In A Helmet After Bottle Rant: Watch

Regardless, the “Get Close” singer recently acknowledged that these opening concerts have actually been quite difficult for her for a myriad of reasons. For example, she told Angela Yee during an interview that she notices how the crowd is there for Rod Wave’s more melancholy material, whereas she’s there to have a good time. “It’s hard,” Ari Lennox expressed. “It is because I’m opening up for young people and… You know what I realized? I think my music is a little too happy. And I mean no shade, right? But it’s too like, ‘Pressure,’ and his is, like, different. So, I think the people are just like, ‘What the hell is this happy s**t on here?’”

Meanwhile, the Washington, D.C. native is still as great of a performer as ever, and it’s great to see her overcome this with a smile on her face. As difficult as performing is for many artists, it’s also a trial by fire that they can choose to fuel or control. Let’s just hope that she doesn’t have to wear that helmet out of necessity, and perhaps uses it as a style statement. On that note, stay posted on HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Ari Lennox.

Finesse2Tymes Show Results In Fight

While live concerts tend to be wild, there’s always the chance that they could go a bit too far. A fight broke out at Finesse2Tymes’ show at club BLVD Nights in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday (January 27). However, the altercation between the event’s promoter and its opening act occurred before Finesse’s scheduled show time.

Moreover, DJ Rocky Montana explained the situation after videos of the fight went viral.

“No Finesse had not hit the stage yet,” he expressed in a statement to XXL. “The altercation was between me and an opening artist. The artist (2) went over their stage time and didn’t want to leave the stage. One artist walked up on me and got dropped then as I got my stance back together and waited to see which artist would rush and [that’s] when one of the artists tackled me and attempted to hit me while I was down however he wasn’t connecting with any punches.”

Fortunately, the incident reportedly resulted in no injuries. Still, videos online show how nasty things got on stage. Furthermore, they show Montana walking up to one of the artists performing while music plays. Then, the artist tackles him to the ground and punches him several times. Later, more people get involved, with some trying to break things up and others throwing punches left and right.

Despite the fight’s intensity, it’s unfortunately not the only endangering situation to happen to the Memphis rapper recently. One of his recent concerts halted after a shooting broke out, resulting in three injuries. While they luckily weren’t life-threatening, it’s sad to see a year in concerts begin with potentially tragic events.

For what it’s worth, it’s unclear whether Finesse got to perform after this incident. While some recent videos on Twitter of him performing might be from that show, it’s hard to say.

Still, what did you think of Finesse2Tymes’ Kansas City show preempted by a fight on stage? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below and check out our interview with him here. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for the latest events, live show stories, and hopefully more positive news in live hip-hop.
