Moniece Slaughter Reveals Reason For Ending Pregnancy, Recalls Her Ex-Husband Abandoning Her

Moniece Slaughter has spoken at length about the decision she made to terminate her pregnancy and the users on social media who have spread the rumor that she lied about expecting. In a video online, she explained that she suffers from a heart condition and recalled her ex-husband abandoning her shortly after losing her unborn child.

“For everybody that’s calling me a liar about my pregnancy– If you were there for me, I love you. I appreciate you. You saw the medical papers and the ultrasounds and you were there for me on the day of my DNC. I’m grateful. I am tired. To say that you can’t believe that I was married to my husband because you think I lied about a pregnancy, a pregnancy that I bled out three times for, was hospitalized for, fought tooth and nail to keep. I had my thumbs tied on the table on the day of my DNC,” she said. “I will never experience motherhood again the natural way and that’s fine. But I had to do it. I had to do it on a heart condition. And I chose the best route for me which was I chose to terminate at 29 weeks– almost full term. If anybody wants to know, let’s just put it to rest. Let’s just put it to bed. Let’s just move on.”

Slaughter continued: “Y’all could believe my mother. Y’all could believe whoever you want but the people that were there were there. They saw my stomach. They saw my daughter kicking, they saw my stomach moving. I was in the dentist for prenatal gingivitis. My teeth were cracking at the crown… I was cracking teeth. You want to know what happened to my show? I wasn’t willing to film losing my child, that I didn’t have a stillborn, I didn’t miscarry, I chose, I made a decision for my ex-husband, the man that described me as the woman of his dreams, introduced me to his children, spent time around my son, answered my phone when I was down after my surgery, was in a group chat with me and my family to denounce our marriage and marriages that I hold sacred.”

Moneybagg Yo recently revealed that he entered another echelon of rapper/actor crossover in the A-list celebrity world. “You [ninja emoji]s Aint Having Lunch Wit Denzel , Stop It !!” he captioned an Instagram post that pictures him with none other than Denzel Washington. In fact, the Memphis MC even flexed how he lent the legendary actor his Audemars Piguet watch and included a wild pic of him wearing two watches on his wrist, one of them being the AP. “Psa : I Let Em Rock Da AP He Said Its Time To Feed Da Streets. #SPEAK,” he added. We can’t help but wonder what on Earth prompted this crossover.

Regardless of its origin, we’re glad it happened, as these are two titanic champions of focused and hard work in their respective fields. For example, Denzel Washington and Moneybagg Yo probably spoke on their business endeavors, their art, the former’s upcoming or recent roles, or the latter’s record label. On that note, actually, maybe Denzel had something to weigh in on regarding DeJ Loaf recently calling Moneybagg out for allegedly stealing her name for his Loaf Boyz label. It was a bizarre attack online, but we can’t deny that folks typically don’t appreciate the MC like they should.

As for The Equalizer star, his relationship with hip-hop is relatively well-known. He actually spoke on what it was like to meet a much younger Drake, and it would be interesting to hear what he’d have to say about Moneybagg Yo. “I met a kid in Toronto who came up and was fascinated with me because I was, like, this star,” Denzel Washington told Good Morning America almost a year ago. “He wanted to talk to me and he couldn’t believe that he met me. Well, 10 or 15 years later, he came up and he said, ‘You don’t remember when you met me?’ I said no. His name is Drake.”

Meanwhile, the CMG affiliate is also dealing with some drama outside of the musical realm thanks to cheating accusations. However, he said that he and Ari Fletcher are just fine, and things seem quite chill on that front at press time. The Georgia-born performer frequently finds himself at the center of controversy for his outward displays of sexuality, polarizing song lyrics, and more. Just recently, for example, he unveiled a snippet of an upcoming track in which he recalls some of his early sexual experiences. As expected, it had most listeners up in arms, though a few did come to his defense.

According to Lil Nas X, concerns that his music won’t do well tend to hold him back, and even prevent him from releasing it altogether. Earlier this week, he took to Instagram to vent to his followers, also unveiling a few new snippets. He described being frustrated over these fears and expressed wishes to simply stop caring so much.

Doja Cat Deactivates Instagram Due To Fan Toxicity, Users Clap Back

Doja Cat announced via Instagram on Saturday (March 9) that she would be deactivating her account on the social media platform, and as of writing this article, it has in fact disappeared. “hey i’m gonna deactivate because im not really feeling this anymore,” she captioned her last picture on the app so far. “you guys take care of yourselves. i like coming here to find inspo and see people being creative but i just feel like this is getting to be too much. the way im spoken to on here and treated makes me have f***ed up thoughts. Please watch how you talk to and about people on the internet. Bye.”

Moreover, many fans had pretty bewildered reactions considering the complicated relationship that the Los Angeles star has with her fanbase. In August of last year, she didn’t reciprocate fans saying they loved her and said that people calling themselves “Kittenz” as fans of her needed to “get a job.” Doja Cat is definitely appreciative of all the success and of the opportunities across her career, but only to a certain extent. As such, a lot of people criticized this decision to leave IG and blaming fans for turning their backs, whether that’s justified or not.

For example, there’s her very old history of participating in racist chat rooms, which definitely ran its course and is something she grew from. But it’s tough to call how much of this Instagram leave is due to legitimate criticism or undue hate, because she’s gotten a lot of both recently.

Meanwhile, this is all rather saddening because of what Doja is going through elsewhere. The court recently denied her a restraining order against her allegedly abusive brother. Big Hit has released a skit addressing the long-standing conspiracy theory that he’s actually Nipsey Hussle. “STOP FEEDING INTO THE CONSPIRACIES I AM NOT NIPSEY HUSSLE,” Hit wrote as a captioned to the interaction with a random man outside his hotel. In the video, the man reveals that he believes Big Hit is actually Nipsey Hussle.

However, based on the comments, Hit will be fighting the allegations a while longer. “He said what everybody Been thinking. [laughing emoji], wrote one user. “[laughing emoji] every outsider Think every south cali n-gga from the streets look an sound alike …had a girl tell me I look like nipsey just foolishness ..no I’m just from the west stop it [laughing, okay emojis],” a second comment read.

Of course, not everyone gets to laugh about Nipsey. Last year, Charleston White was confronted by a group of Nipsey’s friends. White was no fan of Nipsey and has often gone out of his way to trash the late rapper. In the video, one person can be heard telling White to “keep Nip’s name out your mouth”, which leads to a full-blown confrontation. White responded by attempting to mace the group. As they rush inside the hotel, they can be heard saying “why n-gga spraying shit?” Both knives and mace are fully legal in the state of Arizona.

The moment came during a wild weekend in which White was meant to fight in a boxing match. After pepper spraying his boxing opponent the day before, White got into an altercation with a man at his hotel. The man shoved White, who then hit him with an unfolded flip knife, colloquially referred to as a “pig poker”. They jawed for a minute or so, White now brandishing the knife, before the man got into the elevator. The video, shot by one of the man’s friends, showed that the man was bleeding from a laceration on his head. It was later revealed that this was once again Suede the Plug God, White’s boxing opponent.

Most High sees you clearly – let that be enough,” read a tweet from a self-proclaimed medicine woman that Michele shared to her Instagram story.

The “predator” claims were taken up by public figures such as Joe Budden. “We’ve seen so many NBA stars lose their career, and everything, because of women like this,” Budden said. He also went after co-host MeLyssa Ford, who didn’t appear to have an issue with the relationship. “We don’t have twenty minutes to explain something to you that is right there in front of you,” Budden said dismissively.

It is unclear what the original source of this information is, nor how accurate it is. Images of Hicks and Michele together appear on Hicks’ social media. The two appeared to be close on the modeling circuit. However, there is little evidence to back up the claim that Michele was her babysitter. Despite this, the claims are being used to further demonize Michele.

Michele has been under fire ever since people began to suspect she was pregnant. The hate towards the 39-year-old reality star dates back as far as January when the rumors first emerged. Commenters online have called Michele, who found fame on Basketball Wives, a “predator” given the 18-year age gap between her and the 21-year-old Green. However, people have since defended the relationship. People have questioned why Joe Budden doesn’t get hate for impregnating a 20-something at 39 or while JAY-Z doesn’t get hate for marrying Beyonce when she was just 19.

Kanye West Posts “Vultures 2” Album Cover, Fans Lament Lack Of New Music

Another week, another missed album deadline by Kanye West. Fans voiced their displeasure as West posted the cover art for Vultures 2 on the same day that the album was meant to drop. The cover of Vultures 2 shows a masked West holding a framed picture of a person some fans claim is Virgil Abloh and others claim is Ty Dolla $ign’s incarcerated brother.

However, as mentioned, fans were unhappy to be getting the album cover, but no album. “Vultures 2 or GTA 6 dropping first?” asked one fan, referencing the equally tortured development of Rockstar’s open-world game. For context, GTA 6 is scheduled to drop in 2025. “Blud hasn’t mixed/mastered a single track from Vultures 2 yet,” theorized another fan. Despite this, some fans were excited and pointed to next week’s Rolling Loud California, despite West and Ty Dolla $ign not being listed as performers at the event. Kanye West’s “Carnival” Gets Intense Cover Art

Furthermore, Kanye has gone pretty hard with the cover art for the long-awaited Vultures project. Last month, West unveiled the intense cover art for “Carnival”, one of the standout tracks from Vultures 1. Designed by noted Canadian artist Jon Rafman, the cover art for “Carnival” depicts a close-up of a screaming and bloodied skinhead. Rafman also created the AI-generated music video for “Vultures (Havoc Version)” which was released alongside the album.

“Carnival” features Playboi Carti and Rich the Kid. As mentioned, it is widely considered one of the best tracks on Vultures 1. Many people have already called it the best song of 2024. However, the song proved controversial even before it was released. A version heard at a listening party in Chicago earned the ire of Ozzy Osbourne due to an uncleared sample of Black Sabbath. A later version at a Long Island listening party used a sample of Kanye’s “Hell of a life”, which interpolates the same Black Sabbath song.

Raekwon Shows Off His Stunning New Wu-Tang Clan Chain

The story of rappers and elaborate chains goes as far back as the idea of hip-hop itself. In the arms race of getting the flashiest and most elaborate chain rapper’s have spent millions on luxury pieces. One of those is Raekwon, who is no stranger to elaborate chains. He took to Instagram earlier this year to show fans the newest piece in his collection. As you’d expect, it’s made in the image of the iconic Wu-Tang Clan logo.

“We been cooking up something special with the chef @raekwon @wutangclan very own! A Legendary moment creating this masterpiece Wu-Tang pendant.welcome to the Mazza Family Chef. Stay tuned for what’s coming!” Mazza New York, the jewelers responsible for the piece posted to Instagram. It came attached to a video of the rapper seeing the chain for the very first time. He also pulled up in the comments to expand on his feelings. “you one of the gr8’s waterfall Mazza !!!! stay shined up ! love. gracias” his comment reads. Last year, Raekwon became the most recent rapper to start his own cannabis business. The business is called Hashtoria and it opened up in Newark, New Jersey. In recent years as laws have shifted more and more rappers have gotten involved in the business.

While the Wu-Tang rapper hasn’t released any new music so far this year he was busy delivering feature performances in 2023. Most notably was a Statik Selektah track that dropped in March of last year. He assembled a full on Wu-Tang reunion for the song. It contained features from Raekwon, Method Man, and Ghostface Killah.
