The Weeknd Seemingly Teases Collaboration With Apple

The Weeknd appears to have something in the works with Apple after sharing a picture of framed photos of the company’s logo on his Instagram Story on Saturday. It would stand to reason that he took the picture at the company’s headquarters. He didn’t elaborate much with his caption for the post, only adding three emojis: the eyes emoji, the music notes emoji, and the film camera emoji.

The Weeknd has been teasing having another album in store for years at this point. In 2022, he revealed that his previous two projects, After Hours and DawnFM, were part of a trilogy. Additionally, he shared the cover art for both of those albums followed by a question mark on Instagram, earlier this year. In the caption, he only wrote the number three.

Despite not announcing his next album officially, he’s still been active with new music in the form of features. He recently made an appearance on Metro Boomin and Future’s collaborative album, We Still Don’t Trust You. Speaking with Spotify’s RapCaviar after its release, Metro revealed that he also contributed production for an upcoming album from The Weeknd. “Me and him working on a lot of stuff. You know, we cookin’ up for his new album. A lot of people gonna be real pleased and even more happier,” he said ahead of a show in Eygpt.

Megan Thee Stallion appeared unbothered in her latest post on Instagram after Eminem’s new song, “Houdini,” mentioned her by name. Taking to the social media platform on Saturday, Megan shared a clip of herself posing in a lace dress with the caption: “GOOD MORNING ATLANTA HOTTIES [fire emojis] lets have fun tonight.” Her frequent collaborator, Cardi B, popped up in the comments section to label her, “Sexyyyy,” with a pair of heart-eyes emojis.

Other fans joined in the praise as well. “Meg is in a lace mini dress… so I ordered a lace mini dress,” one user wrote. Another asked: “Girl, are you drinking out the fountain of youth or sum?????” Megan used her new “Wanna Be (Remix)” with GloRilla and Cardi as the soundtrack of the video.

As for Eminem’s new track mentioning Megan, he raps at one point: “If I was to ask for Megan Thee / Stallion if she would collab with me / Would I really have a shot at a feat? / I don’t know but I’m glad to be / Back, like.” The lyrics have been causing quite a stir on social media with fans of both artists debating whether he crossed the line. “Houdini” is the first single from Eminem’s upcoming album, The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce). It’s also had the most successful streaming debut of his entire career.

Gunna Gets In Reps At Patriots’ Training Camp, Fans Critique His Football Skills

Gunna showed up for a practice at the New England Patriots’ training camp, earlier this week. In a video circulating on social media, he catches some passes during a receiving drill.

Fans shared plenty of jokes in response to the clip when No Jumper posted it on Instagram. “Man still flinching at the ball,” one user wrote. Another remarked: “His catch them sloppy and doesn’t even know how to throw a ball, sheesh.” Others did come to his defense. One fan wrote: “The ones saying ‘he can’t catch’ is the sames that got picked last or never at recess. yall don’t realize how hard & fast that ball coming to him he’s not a pro receiver but at least he ain’t drop it doe.”

The appearance at the Patriots facility comes after he recently discussed his fitness journey during an interview with XXL. “Less eating. Especially when I went to jail. I lost a lot of weight. Just like, cleansing. Detoxing. And when I got home, I started working out and just keeping it fit. And now, I’m on a year straight of all working out,” he said. As for if he’s still staying in shape, he added: “Yes. I got a trainer. I work out six days a week. I eat better. I eat clean. And that’s something I’m disciplining myself to do every day. It’s something that I’m liking, though. I feel better when I work out.”

Finesse2tymes previously discussed his weight-loss journey in a candid post on social media, last week, revealing that he may need therapy to help his mental health as well. “Weight loss journey going well, thanks for all the prayers, to my fans and supporters much love,” he wrote at the time. “Physically I’m 100% better, Mentally I’m not, I think I need to see a therapist, I never been into paying people for advice.” Before that, he tried going on a 21-day fruit-and-water fast. “This my 4th time starting over,” he wrote in the caption of another post. “But u know how the saying goes, U fall down 9 time get up 10 times. Quavo Teams Up With Ian And Teases Upcoming Collaboration

Quavo is a prolific artist. He was the first member of Migos to step out and find solo success by working with the likes of Drake and Travis Scott. He even scored a number one single opposite Justin Bieber. The Atlanta rapper does not discriminate when it comes to collaborations. That being said, his latest collab is a bit of a surprise. Quavo posted a photo on Instagram of him working in the studio alongside the latest rap breakout, Ian. A controversial pick, but one that ultimately makes sense.

Quavo posted the photo on his Instagram Stories on May 30. The rapper doesn’t appear in it himself, but it looks as though he’s the one who snapped the image of Ian in the studio. Ian, who was born Ian O’Neill Smith (shocker, we know), can be seen laying down vocals. We even get to see the audio file of whatever song Quavo and Ian are working on in the background. The Migos rapper tagged Ian, suggesting the two are going to be dropping something very soon. Aesthetically, Quavo and Ian are worlds apart. Culturally as well, actually. It’s the style of Ian’s music, however, that’s going to make this potential collaboration interesting.

Ian takes inspiration from trap rap of the 2010s, including Gucci Mane, Chief Keef and yes, Migos. The rapper’s recent album, Valedictorian, has taken the world by storm, for reasons musical and otherwise. Fans have been impressed with Ian’s ability to emulate his musical idols, while critics have criticized him for being a watered-down imitation of people like Keef and Playboi Carti. It’s easy to see both sides. The collab between Quavo and Ian will help to legitimate the latter’s reputation within hip-hop, and may even lead to other high-profile collabs.

Quavo, meanwhile, is hard at work on his upcoming solo album. There hasn’t been any word on a title or a proper release date, but the Migos rapper has been dropping singles. “Himothy” and “Potato Loaded” were buzz singles that failed to generate much attention. Quavo has also teased multiple snippets and collabs with artists like Rich the Kid and Lana Del Rey. He’s also working on piecing together songs for Takeoff’s posthumous album. “I’m gathering a whole bunch of information, gathering a lot of producers, gathering a lot of my friends, a lot of the artists,” Quavo told Vibe in 2023. “And we’re going to make this album one of the craziest albums of all time.”

DJ Mustard’s Ex-Wife Seemingly Throws Shade At Him On Instagram

DJ Mustard is riding high right now. The producer just scored his first number one single with Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” and he recently welcomed his first child with his girlfriend, Brittany Stroud. He’s excelling in ways both professional and personal, but there still seems to be tension between Mustard and his ex-wife, Chanel Thierry. The latter, who has three children with Mustard, posted a message on Instagram on May 31, and many think it’s aimed at the West Coast legend.

Thierry used Instagram Threads to vent about someone is two-faced. “What really gets my gears going,” she wrote. “Is someone who will throw a rock behind closed doors but in public try to uphold a certain image.” No names, no tagged profiles. Fans quickly arrived at the conclusion that Chanel Thierry meant DJ Mustard. The former spouses have had a contentious relationship since their divorce was finalized. Thierry accused DJ Mustard of trying to gain custody of their children so that he didn’t have to pay child support during an IG rant.

You want to demolish my name!? It’s disgusting,” she publicly told Mustard. “The nerve to have me fighting for custody because you are so bitter and don’t want to pay [child support]. I sat in the house YEARS watching them kids while you toured the world.” She also claimed that the producer owed her child support, and refused to pay for co-parenting classes. DJ Mustard responded to these accusations in court. He filed paperwork that dismissed the unpaid child support claims outright.

“Chanel’s claim that I have starved her out financially since separation is a flat-out lie,” the producer’s paperwork read. “I continued to pay all of Chanel’s living expenses, including all of her credit card bills. I also continued paying Chanel’s housing costs and the children’s expenses including school tuition.” DJ Mustard is still embroiled in a custody battle with Thierry. He filed for sole custody of their oldest son in February. Radar Online reported that the producer wanted to keep a closer eye on his son’s education, and transfer him to a different school. No official rulings have been made.

Yung Miami Celebrates Her Son’s 5th Grade Prom

Yung Miami isn’t shy about being one of the proudest parents in rap. Even though the competition for that can be pretty stiff she makes a pretty good case for herself by celebrating her kids online regularly. The most recent example came from her son, who is in fifth grade. He’s already on his way to a school dance and Miami went full parent mode celebrating. She took to Instagram to share a photoshoot of her son and his date hilariously posing in a car they’re far to young to drive.

In the comments, fans have a variety of reactions to the post. Some find it totally adorable that Miami is so proud of her son. But others are trying to point out issues they have with the arrangement. “Lil Momma gotta a full face and a wig on? In the 5th grade I could barely wear vaseline on my lips” one comment says in reference to the girl accompanying Miami’s son. “The only prom I got in 5th grade was PROMotion to the 6th grade ” another fan jokes about how young the pair are. For much of 2024 Yung Miami has been dealing with fallout from her association with Diddy. Amid Young Thug’s highly publicized YSL RICO trial, social media users have seen him receive a great deal of support from both fans and peers. He’s been behind bars for over two years now, facing accusations that his label Young Stoner Life is actually a “violent street gang.” It’s rumored that the trial could continue well into 2027, despite his team’s attempts to speed it up last year. He was arrested in May of 2022 alongside several other alleged YSL members, including Gunna.

Gunna was released in December of the same year after accepting a plea deal, which sparked speculation that he turned his back on his co-defendants in exchange for his own freedom. He denies this, though critics continue to have their suspicions. Regardless, he frequently shows love to Young Thug at his shows and online, prompting mixed reactions from followers.

For weeks now the political news cycle has followed Donald Trump’s ongoing trial very closely. Yesterday it was revealed that the former president has been found guilty. He was convicted of 34 felony counts of falsification of business records. Additionally those spawned from an alleged hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels. As the prosecution painted the picture, he paid to keep the story of an alleged affair quiet until after the 2016 election. It’s in the details of how that payment was made that the counts he was eventually convicted of spawned from.

The internet has been full of reactions to the verdict for the past 24 hours and now 50 Cent is weighing in. 50 is no stranger to commenting on just about anything going on in the world. So it’s no real surprise he made a post about the major verdict. “Damn man people are angry out here FOR REAL” the caption of his post reads. The post itself is a video of fans of Trump reacting furiously to the guilty verdict. Consequently it sparked a pretty heated debate in the comments of his post. As it stands, the artist is reportedly working on Lana which is some sort of deluxe version of SOS. However, at this point, it might as well be a whole new album. Meanwhile, she has also been fairly active on social media, Instagram in particular. On her IG page, she typically posts some photo dumps of either herself or whatever it is she might be up to. Well, on Thursday night, SZA left fans stunned with her latest blue alien costume that made her appear naked, albeit with a few well-placed coverings.
