Lil Uzi Vert Said They Are Qutting Music After ‘Luv Is Rage 3’ For A Surprising Career Change
Lil Uzi Vert’s latest Luv Is Rage 3 update offered fans some potentially disappointing, but possibly exciting news. After confirming that the album is on the way in early November, Uzi now says that the album will be the rapper’s last, with an eyebrow-raising career change planned for the future.
In an interview with TMZ, Uzi explained why Luv Is Rage 3 will be their final album, saying, “I want to make music. I love making music but I don’t really wanna make music like that no more… I want to make women’s clothes. I’ve been working in my office in my house.”
Uzi’s interest in fashion is no surprise; in June, their album Pink Tape even featured a song with Nicki Minaj called “Endless Fashion.” Uzi teamed up with Nicki again on her album Pink Friday 2 for “Everybody,” reaffirming their chemistry is at its peak.
However, it’s been equally clear that the Philadelphia rapper has been feeling disillusioned with the music business, even going so far as disputing their inclusion on the Rolling Loud California 2024 lineup. They’ve since been replaced by Future and Metro Boomin.

Nicki Minaj continues promoting her new album, Pink Friday 2, including appearing alongside Joe Budden. During the interview, Minaj did not hold back her feelings about breaking the Spotify record for an album from a female rapper.
“Spotify 24-hour streams… Someone’s only popping ’cause there wasn’t nobody else out,” she mockingly said, using a line that her haters probably have to discredit her achievement.
“So, you remember people saying this stuff?” Budden asked in response, as Minaj simply went “Ah.”
“People did say this stuff,” he added.

From that moment, fans have been loving how energetic she was. At another point during her conversation with Budden, Minaj was asked about the line in “FTCU” that many have speculated as being a diss, although it’s still unclear about who. (“Stay in your Tory lane, b*tch, I’m not Iggy,” is the lyric in question.)
“It could be shade to a few people,” Budden noted.
“Well, without thinking about it being shade to a few people, what do you think the line itself means?” Minaj questioned back.
“‘I’m not one of them,’ and I think it was a clever way to say that,” he replied.

The Kansas City Chiefs had a very lackluster showing during their Christmas Day matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, and it left Taylor Swift and Patrick Mahomes’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, shocked.
Swift was present at the game in a Santa hat with her bae Travis Kelce’s number 87 on it. After a game-sealing run from Lamir White of the Raiders, Mahomes covered her face in shock as Swift held her. The Chiefs would fall 20-14 at Arrowhead Stadium, dropping their record to 9-6.

Mahomes was 27-for-44 for 235 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. On the other end, quarterback Aidan O’Connell only threw for 62 yards, but the Raiders’ defense continued to make brilliant plays to get the win.

Takeoff’s Dad Joins In $1 Million Wrongful Death Lawsuit
Takeoff’s Dad, Kenneth Ball, is reportedly joining in the $1 million wrongful death lawsuit against 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, which the rapper’s mother, Titania Davenport, filed back in June 2023. He’s joining as “Intervenor,” which simply describes a third party who attaches themselves to an existing legal case. Ball is also seeking $1 million from the venue. Together, the two name 18 instances where the venue failed to provide adequate security measures to protect its patrons.
“[Kenneth Ball], the natural parent of [Takeoff], has suffered substantial pecuniary loss both in the past and in the future. Indeed, [Ball] has suffered past and future pecuniary loss, including funeral and burial expenses, psychological and psychiatric expenses, loss of advice, loss of counsel, loss of services, loss of care, loss of maintenance and loss of support,” Ball’s lawyer Brant J. Stogner explained in a statement caught by AllHipHop.

In response to the lawsuit, the owners of 810 Billiards & Bowling have denied any responsibility in the killing of Takeoff. Their legal representative, Stephanie M. Krueger, says the focus should be on the two who allegedly pulled the trigger, Patrick Xavier Clark and Cameron Joshua. “Ample evidence exists supporting a claim that Patrick Xavier Clark’s intentional criminal actions proximately caused, in whole or in part, the damages for which Plaintiffs now seek recover,” Krueger said in a statement. Clark faces between 5 years to life in prison for the shooting.
Despite joining her case, Ball is reportedly involved in a dispute with Titania Davenport over their son’s $26 million estate. The rapper died without a will and Georgia law states that the closest relatives have exclusive rights over both his money and assets. This would include his music catalog.
