Ahead of the release of her debut album, Tyla has delivered the video for the “Water (Remix),” which features Travis Scott. Featuring both stars, their sizzling auras are separated by a glass in the dance-heavy video.

Tyla’s debut album will arrive this Friday. After the release, the “Water” singer hit Instagram to reveal the tracklist. Travis Scott, Becky G, Tems, Gunna, SKillibeng, and Kelvin Momo are featured on the album. You can see the full tracklist below.

Fans hoping to see Tyla on tour have to wait a bit longer. The “Water” singer posted on Instagram that she has called the dates off due to an unspecified injury.

“For the past year I’ve been silently suffering with an injury that has tragically worsened,” Tyla wrote. “I’ve seen doctors and specialists with high hopes, but the pain has only become more agonizing as has the severity of the situation.”

Dr. Dre has been immortalized on The Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The ceremony occurred on Tuesday (March 19), bringing out Dr. Dre’s closest friends and collaborators: Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Jimmy Iovine, and Eminem.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to make a living doing exactly what I love to do. How about that? Isn’t that the dream?” Dre said during his speech. “Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of finding and nurturing new talent as well as pushing the boundaries in hip-hop both in content and substance.

“But I’m most proud of elevating the sound and clarity of how we experience hip-hop. Getting that thing right is one of my greatest achievements. I love that this honor is unique to Los Angeles and brings fans from all over the world to connect with their favorite artists. I’ll be here forever.”

Jonathan Majors Sued by Ex-GF Grace Jabbari, Citing Defamation and Battery

Jonathan Majors Reflects on Incident Leading to Assault Conviction

Jonathan Majors will be headed to court again. He is being sued by his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, for battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and more.

Additional accusations in the civil suit include malicious prosecution and defamation, stating she alerted Majors’ team of abuse beginning in 2021. Jabbari stated she was subjected to a “pattern of pervasive domestic abuse that began in 2021 and extended through 2023.”

Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, responded: “This is no surprise. Mr. Majors is preparing counterclaims against Ms. Jabbari.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Majors met Jabbari as he filmed Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania, and the first attack happened in 2022 and caused “serious injuries to her body.”

Jabbari stated in Sept. 2022, a verbal altercation led to Majors pushing her, causing bruising to her backside, throwing her on the hood of a car, and placing his hands around her neck with a threat of killing her.

In a separate event, Majors allegedly cornered Jabbari on a bed and raised his fist over her as she cowered. The suit reads, “On this occasion, Majors did not physically strike Grace; he obtained control over himself and left the property as Grace locked herself in a bedroom for safety.”

Majors currently await sentencing for misdemeanor third-degree assault and a violation of harassment in the second degree. The hearing is set for April 8, and Majors faces up to one year in prison.

R. Kelly Suing Over His Confiscated Commissary

In a legal tangle that continues to unfold, R&B singer R. Kelly finds himself fighting to reclaim $28,000 confiscated from his prison commissary account, a sum that was seized and used as restitution for one of his victims. This development is part of the ongoing saga following Kelly’s high-profile legal troubles and subsequent incarceration.

According to reports from Hip Hop DX, which accessed court documents, a hearing concerning the dispute over the commissary funds was scheduled for Monday, March 18. The proceedings saw Assistant United States Attorney Kayla Bensing representing the interests of the United States against the embattled musician’s claims.

The roots of this financial conflict trace back to a series of court decisions aimed at compensating Kelly’s victims. In March 2023, the Illinois Supreme Court ruled in favor of Heather Williams, granting her access to R. Kelly’s label fund. This fund, reportedly valued at $1.5 million in 2020 according to Billboard, became a source of restitution before Midwest Commercial Funding, a property manager, secured a separate $3.5 million ruling against Kelly over unpaid rent for a Chicago studio.

In a significant move in August of the same year, U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly ordered that Kelly and his label, Universal Music Group, surrender more than $500,000 in royalties. This order also included the directive for Kelly to hand over the $28,000 in his prison canteen account, emphasizing the legal system’s efforts to ensure Kelly’s victims receive restitution.

The announcement of the livestream link for the hearing noted, “The defendant is appealing his conviction and the government’s seizure of his substantial Bureau of Prisons commissary account to satisfy the financial penalties imposed in the case.” It further stated that each side would be allotted ten minutes to present their arguments, underscoring the limited time frame to address such a complex issue.

The outcome of this legal battle will undoubtedly add another chapter to the already tumultuous legal history of R. Kelly.

SOURCE SPORTS: Netflix Announces New NFL Series ‘Receivers’

Netflix is set to launch a new sports series, Receivers, following prominent NFL pass catchers throughout the 2023-24 season. The show will spotlight Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The series, produced by NFL Films, Omaha Productions, and 2PM Productions, will consist of eight 45-minute episodes. Executive producers include Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ross Ketover, Pat Kelleher, Keith Cossrow, and Patrick Mahomes.

“The natural progression is from a pass to a catch, so we’re excited to dive into the Receiver world after the success of our Quarterback series,” said Gabe Spitzer, Vice President, Nonfiction Sports, Netflix. “NFL Films and Omaha Productions have delivered again in finding unique and dynamic athletes who will further highlight the drama of this sport on and off the field.” 

“We are excited to be working again with Netflix and NFL Films to give fans unprecedented access to what it’s like to play receiver at the highest level,” said Peyton Manning. “As we did with Quarterback, we look forward to telling the stories of five incredible receivers, each with their unique personality, skillset, and motivation for what drives them to be the best.” 

Joining Netflix’s diverse sports lineup, which includes hits like “Quarterback” and “Formula 1: Drive To Survive,” the series underscores Netflix’s commitment to delivering compelling sports narratives. With partnerships spanning major sports leagues, including the NFL, Formula 1, PGA TOUR, and FIFA, Netflix continues to captivate audiences with gripping sports content.

Fivio Foreign has proven to be someone who doesn’t mind speaking his mind. Overall, this is something he does on social media quite a bit. However, there are a few people out there who don’t like his stream-of-consciousness-like tweets. Some have even deemed him a corny individual. Regardless, he continues to do his thing. At the end of the day, he is a successful artist who doesn’t need the approval of haters on the internet. Instead, he can simply continue doing what has already brought him so much success.

That said, Fivio has found himself in some weird feuds as of late. Firstly, he has gotten himself caught up in a fight against the Hotties. Fivio Foreign has consistently taken the side of Tory Lanez, and has advocated for the “Free Tory” movement. Secondly, he found himself at odds with Natalie Nunn after claiming that she hooked up with his best friend. It’s all petty stuff, but it has definitely gotten his name into the news. In his latest “On The Radar” freestyle, he decided to speak on some of these topics. However, he did so in a way that is likely to make more people upset. This is especially true as he threw in an Ice Spice diss for good measure.
