Why Doesn’t 50 Cent Make New Music Anymore?

The last time we got a new album from 50 Cent was in 2014 with Animal Ambition. He’ll come out with a new song now and then, like 2022’s “Power Powder Respect” with Jeremih and Lil Durk. Mostly, though, 50 is inactive these days when it comes to new music.

Why Doesn’t 50 Cent Make New Music Anymore?

During a panel with Earn Your Leisure at Invest Fest last month, 50 explained his mindset:

“My ideas are getting so big that it’s changing even how I can deliver things. I have to be conscious of what I’m saying or what I’m doing because the idea — it’s going to disrupt my idea. A lot of the music, if you listen to the music that’s out right now, I have to tap into my stupid. I have to tap into the stupid side of me to write the right thing when it comes time to write the music.

This is why I haven’t created as much content as I was creating in the past, and I started going toward the film production and development of these projects. Because I think I can impact things in a bigger way through that.”

So, to summarize, 50 isn’t interested in being part of the current musical landscape, and he’s currently more invested in working in TV and movies.

Diddy Responds To Former Adult Film Star’s Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Diddy and his legal team have spent a lot of time responding to various allegations against him, whether in his federal case or in other lawsuits. They directed their latest address to a filing from former adult film star Adria English, who alleged that he sexually assaulted her. However, this case got an important update recently, as her lawyers recently backed out as English’s counsel according to a statement from her ex attorneys Ariel Mitchell-Kidd and Steven A. Metcalf. They submitted this motion due to how they “fundamentally disagree” with the nature of the allegations put forth and how they presented them.

“[English] has provided conflicting instructions that make it unreasonably difficult for Attorneys to effectively represent English,” Mitchell-Kidd stated concerning Adria English’s allegations against Diddy. “There has been a breakdown in the Attorney-Client relationship between Attorneys and [English].” After this development, Sean Combs’ legal team reportedly issued a statement to AllHipHop. This not only references English’s specific allegations against the Bad Boy mogul, but her lawyers’ decision. In addition, they alleged that English’s lawsuit reflects false accusations against him from other suits.

“Less than three months after filing her lawsuit against Sean Combs, Adria English has been dropped by both of her attorneys after making completely fabricated statements,” a spokesperson for Diddy reportedly told the publication. “In papers filed with the court today, her former attorneys cited Ms. English’s ‘questionable antics’ and ‘undermining behavior.’ As we’ve said from the start, anyone can file a lawsuit without proof, and this case is a clear example of that. Adria English escalated things by filing false police reports and making baseless claims, using high-profile events as a backdrop to harm innocent people. No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted, or sex trafficked anyone.”

Meanwhile, Diddy’s legal team will reportedly make a third attempt at bail, as they filed a notice of appeal to the court’s last denial of it. At press time, it’s still unclear if legal authorities have an answer or not, nor do we know what an alternative course of action would be if they face another rejection.

Finesse2tymes’ Girlfriend & Mother Go Off On Nia Love After Learning He’s Not Her Child’s Father

Late last year, Nia Love gave birth to a baby girl named Sincere, who she previously believed was Finesse2tymes’. Earlier this week, however, she learned that this is not the case. The rapper took to Instagram to share the results of a paternity test, which confirmed that he is not the father. This prompted Nia Love to hop online to explain herself and reveal that she slept with her ex when she and Finesse2tymes had broken up for a brief period.

She later took a lengthy message to Instagram about the unexpected discovery. According to her, it was a “blessing in disguise.” Nia says the paternity results gave her the strength to walk away from her relationship with Finesse2tymes, which was no longer healthy for her.

As for Finesse2tymes, he admitted that the news hit him hard, but described the debacle as a learning experience. He’s not the only one who was hurt by the mix-up, however. Recently, his mother and his current girlfriend FNG Shugga confronted Nia during a livestream. Needless to say, things got heated. In a clip from the stream, his mother goes off on her, arguing that she never should have allowed Finesse2tymes to believe the baby was his. She claimed that if Nia knew there was a possibility that her daughter was her ex’s, she should have been upfront with everyone involved.

As for Finesse2tymes, he popped in briefly to weigh in, insisting that arguing won’t solve the problem. “What y’all arguing for?” he wondered. “The baby still not mine.” He later clarified that he would not be taking care of the child. Jaguar Wright recently hopped on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored show on YouTube (published Wednesday, October 2) to allege that she has footage from Diddy’s alleged “freak-off” parties. They discussed the scope of these alleged crimes, speculative theories about other celebrities’ alleged involvement, and how this allegedly goes further back than Sean Combs. “He’s got everybody on tape!” Jaguar Wright’s allegations began. “They all know it! See, this is the thing. Everything that I’m about to say to you is not my first-hand knowledge: it is my first-hand witness account experience. I was a sex worker, I was a dominatrix before I got my record deal. That’s how I know how the dark world and the sex world and the entertainment world run hand-in-hand.

“That’s why the movie Blink Twice is so important. Salute to Zoë Kravitz,” Jaguar Wright’s allegations continued. “The sex workers that I have worked with throughout the years, and continue to work with even to this day, have worn hidden cameras. I have my own tapes. I’ve seen what they do. The ritualistic behaviors. The drugging. Putting girls into suitcases. Dumping them in alleyways. It’s horrifying.

“And it’s all done under the protection of ‘This is going to be paid off. There’s another NDA.’ It’s terrible. It’s terrible,” Jaguar Wright alleged. “Everyone knows. Everyone knows! The whole point of this is for them, in a coordinated effort, to pretend like none of it is real for the public’s perception. But everyone knows what’s going on, and it’s been going on for years. It’s been going on before Diddy!

“See, people keep looking at him like he’s this Sputnik that came out of nowhere,” Jaguar Wright’s allegations concluded. “This is someone who was designed to be what he is. We got to stop making Diddys. And if we’re going to do that, then we got to go back. We got to go back to even further: the mentors of these people. Because Diddy was taught how to do what he does systematically, and Clive Davis has been his greatest teacher.”

Jaguar Wright Alleges That Jay-Z Is A “Monster” Like Diddy

Jaguar Wright is no stranger to making wild claims about the entertainment industry, and her recent appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored was certainly no exception. During the interview, Wright discussed Diddy’s explosive legal battle and the long list of allegations he’s been hit with in recent months. According to her, however, he’s not the only person the public should be taking a closer look at.

“For four years I’ve been screaming not just Diddy, but Diddy and Jay-Z are monsters… And the victim-making machine kept going on,” she alleged. Morgan took this opportunity to note how Jay-Z has stayed quiet about the disturbing allegations Diddy is currently facing. Wright says this shouldn’t come as a surprise, but insists that silence is no longer an option for him. “That’s what he does. He starts little fires everywhere, forces everyone involved to carry water while he sneaks away without a response,” she alleged. “That changes now, Sean. You must respond.”

It must stop.” Morgan went on to bring up ongoing allegations of misogyny in hip-hop and to ask Wright how dangerous she actually believes Diddy is.

“I think he’s one of the most dangerous people I’ve ever met,” she alleged. “I would never take a picture with the devil […] Everyone knew he was the devil. SOURCE SPORTS: Michael Jordan Sues NASCAR And Its CEO Jim France

Reports have confirmed that basketball legend Michael Jordan is suing NASCAR and it’s CEO Jim France, calling them “monopolistic bullies.”

Jordan’s 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports filed a lawsuit in a federal court in North Carolina yesterday(October 2) after the two teams say they refused to sign updated pacts with NASCAR over “unfair terms.”

Both teams demanded more when it came to extending their charter agreements beyond 2024, but neither MASCAR or France was willing to negotiate their share of the revenue. Both teams claim the org. pressured them into agreeing to a “take-it-or-leave-it” offer that if they did not agree to, they could risk losing their charters in the future.

Both teams filed a suit and an injunction that would allow them to compete in the 2025 season without releasing their antitrust claims by putting pen to France’s paper.

Both teams said that they wanted to stifle France’s and NASCAR’s “unlawful monopoly power.”

“I love the sport of racing and the passion of our fans,” Jordan said of the lawsuit in a statement, “but the way NASCAR is run today is unfair to teams, drivers, sponsors, and fans. Today’s action shows I’m willing to fight for a competitive market where everyone wins.”

Jordan’s 23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin said, “When I look around, I see that the best and most competitive sports in the world understand that when teams thrive, fans benefit, and that everyone who invests in making the sport a success should share fairly in that success. With the right changes, we can certainly make that a reality in racing.”

Veteran Spitters G. Dep And Kurious Join Production Crew Team Demo On “Adaptive”

Producer crew Team Demo enlist the talents of NY rap vets G. Dep and Kurious for a tough new single, “Adaptive,” that’s low-key been in the works since 2012.

The story behind this track is that it began to take shape more than a decade ago when G. Dep and Kurious had met at one of Tony Touch’s Funkbox events in NYC. The two chopped it up, hit it off, and decided to collaborate on a track, which led to G. Dep sending over his verse. The problem was that this was shortly before he turned himself in for a botched robbery attempt that turned deadly in 1993, which would mark the start of an 11 year bid that was commuted in December 2023.

“I wasn’t sure about releasing it like that, when he was gone,” Kurious said about the verse. “So when he came back, we had to let it out!” This led to the emcee sharing the record with Team Demo, who linked with frequent collaborator Yogi to add a hook and flesh it out into a full song.

The result is a dope bit of hip-hop history—and a hell of a single as well. “Adaptive” is available now through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms. The track is a loosie and not affiliated with a larger body of work, but be sure to check out Team Demo’s 2023 release, It’s a Demo.

Happy 53rd Birthday To The Roots’ Frontman Black Thought!

Born on this date in 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as Tariq Luqmaan Trotter, Black Thought, the lead emcee of the legendary Hip Hop band The Roots, has created his key to success with simply one word; longevity.

Thought has always been regarded as one of the most lyrical post-Golden Era emcees, yet received very little recognition for his prowess outside of his work with the entire Roots band, which is now a staple of ‘The Tonight Show.’ This summer’s Streams Of Thought: Vol. 1 just further proves his “staying power” in any circles where rhymes are being spit.

Growing up in a Nation Of Islam household, Trotter’s family life was very cultured, leading him to seek knowledge among the Five Percent Nation in high school. There is where he met The Roots’ co-founder Amhir Thompson, whom they originally named the group The Square Roots.

Throughout the two-decade span of his illustrious career since The Roots debut in 1993, Thought has earned a Grammy win, appeared in two blockbuster films(Bamboozled, Brooklyn Babylon), and appeared on several groundbreaking albums.
