Joe Budden Gives Props To Megan Thee Stallion For “Cobra:” “You Absolutely Went Crazy On This”

Megan Thee Stallion did not pull any punches on her first single of the year, “Cobra.” It is still at the top of the YouTube music trending list, with nearly 4.5 million views on the platform. She shed her past and let out everything that has been weighing on her mentally and emotionally. On top of that, the beat, which is Megan’s first-ever producing credit, is fantastic. The swirling synths and guitar samples added to the ambiance of the track. Furthermore, the visuals, while predictable, were still so well put together and highlighted the message of the song.

Needless to say, this was a far cry from her last big single, “Bongos,” with Cardi B. It went along with a similar formula that “WAP” did. Raunchy, unapologetic, and it takes itself maybe a little too seriously. One of the many people who maligned that track was Joe Budden. However, he had to eat his words after hearing “Cobra.”

Joe Budden Concedes That Megan Thee Stallion Did Her Thing

AllHipHop found a clip on Twitter (X) from Joe Budden’s podcast. In the short clip, the host was stunned after listening to the single. To his credit, he did stand up and congratulate Megan for the work she put into it. He even went as far as to say that if people do not like they are just hating to hate. “Meg, yo! I ain’t gon’ lie to you. You absolutely went crazy on this.” He continues, “A n**** hate on this, he hatin’. If you don’t like this you hatin’.”

What are your initial thoughts on Joe Budden admitting that Megan Thee Stallion’s new song, “Cobra,” is really good? Were you as shocked as Budden was when you heard it? Does this have you any more intrigued for more music from Megan? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Yung Miami Claps Back At Haters Bringing Up Diddy’s Ex Cassie

Yung Miami has no time for anyone saying she didn’t learn from Cassie as she pushes forward in her relationship with Diddy. “I think you under the wrong b-tch page LMAOOOOO,” Miami replied to one hater on Instagram. The claims that Miami is headed down the same path as Diddy’s infamous ex is one that has been used time and time against Miami. Clearly, she’s tired of hearing it.

The biggest name to recently bring it up was Azealia Banks. Last month, she turned her attention on the on-and-off couple of Diddy and Yung Miami. “Can we also stop pretending like @diddy has done anything for hip-hop or Black people?…[coercing] artists into compromising sexual encounters to blackmail them.” As her rant continued, the Banks went after Diddy for “stealing” his ex, Cassie, from Ryan Leslie. Banks then noted that Diddy did “absolutely nothing with her for over a decade.” Furthermore, she also turned around and took aim at Yung Miami. “Think about it, it took 25 years of stealing, doing drugs, and getting drunk to just now have cracked a $1 billion net worth. What’s he got to show for it? Caresha?” Banks can always be trusted to be beefing with someone, even when she’s making a return to music.

Yung Miami & Diddy Dish On Their Sex Life

However, regardless of what people say, the pair seem pretty happy together. Back in September, Miami revealed some juicy details about their sex life. The pillow talk came as the on-off couple hit up the latest episode of Love Radio on Apple. Of particular note was the discussion about just how Diddy can go for. “Let me tell y’all something. This n-gga don’t go to sleep. I be like goddamn. I’ma tell y’all something, for real, for real, for real, I really thought that I was gon’ make him tap out…This n-gga don’t go to sleep. I be like, ‘You need to go to sleep.’ You gotta be charged up like a Tesla,” the City Girl revealed.

It’s not the first time the couple has spilled the tea on their sex life. Earlier this year, Yung Miami revealed one of her bedroom preferences on Caresha Please. The activity in question was golden showers, which Miami was more than happy to defend. “I don’t know, it just do something for me,” Miami said matter of factly. As “PeeGate” began to trend on social media, Miami refused to back down over her preferences. “Y’all know Idgaf! Resha Roulette ain’t for the weak,” she said in a pair of tweets.

GloRilla Claps Back At People Claiming She Switched Up

GloRilla isn’t taking criticism lightly. In a new video she recorded while out for a drive she addressed people that bring up her past as a criticism of her current rap persona. In the video, she brings up complaints people have about her switching up from as far back as high school. Her explanation for the hate is that many of those who can’t replicate her success are just jealous. While the video is short the implication is clear and it is likely targeted at all of her haters, not just this specific group.

GloRilla recently popped up 4 times on Gangsta Art 2, the newest compilation from label CMG. The most notable was her crossing paths with Fivio Foreign for the first time on the song “Cha Cha Cha.” The pair teamed up to perform the song live for the first time during the recent BET Hip-Hop Awards. Though from fan reactions to the performance online, it doesn’t seem to be a particularly well-liked song. Glo also appears on the compilation’s intro track “Overstood,” “Pop It” with Mike WiLL Made-It, and the posse cut “Wrong One.” Check out the video of Glo responding to some of her haters below.

GloRilla Responds To Haters Saying She Changed

Last week, GloRilla got into some trouble with fans for a controversial tweet she made. After pregnancy rumors once again swirled around the rapper, she shut them down for good. “Stop asking am I next y’all kno what I do, I damn near gotta membership at dat place,” she tweeted. It didn’t take fans long to decipher what she meant by “dat place.”

That tweet divided her fan base. Some thought that she was joking and came to her defense telling critics to back off. Others took her tweet more seriously and viewed the whole situation as a bad look for Glo. What do you think of GloRilla’s response to people saying she’s changed since as far back as high school? Ice Spice Smokes Weed On IG, Haters Say She “Just Lost All Her Charm”

Social media hardly bats an eye at celebrities who regularly indulge in drinking. When it comes to smoking weed or other substances, however, artists are often condemned. Doja Cat has faced regular backlash for hitting her vape (even on the Met Gala red carpet, despite Anna Wintour’s famous rule), and Cardi B had to call out those criticizing her for smoking a cigarette on her birthday earlier this week. Now, it’s Ice Spice who’s feeling the heat. A video of the “Munch” spitter hitting a blunt on her Instagram Story seemingly turned off several of her Munchkins.

In the recently posted clip, Isis Gaston casually smokes while seemingly riding on a bus. It’s unclear who’s in her company. Male voices are heard from off camera, raising eyebrows after she confirmed that there’s a new lover in her life whom she wants to keep secret. Once the video was uploaded on IG, it wasn’t long before haters began to share their thoughts. “[She] just lost all her charm,” one user suggested.

“She never had charm, just a fat a**,” another user chimed in. “They gon cook [you] for this,” one reply to that post reads, obviously awaiting Spice’s loyal fans to stick up for her. “This is not attractive at all,” and “I thought she was different,” others wrote after seeing the 23-year-old’s incriminating video. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but a @nojumper comment points out, “[You] ain’t expect a drill rapper out the [Bronx] to smoke? What kinda Fenty snortin’? Talkin’ ’bout losing her charm 😂.”

Not everyone is impressed with Ice Spice’s occasional indulgence in weed. Still, her latest single is already earning a lot of positive attention online. For her latest collaboration, the redhead teamed up with Rema to give us a new sound on “Pretty Girl.” Check that out at the link below, and tap back in later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Cam’ron Refutes “Old” Troll Jokes: “I Had A Million When I Was 20, How Much You Got?”

Cam’ron is a hip-hop veteran, one that helped define the genre in the East Coast in the 2000s and remains a pivotal voice in the culture. Nowadays, it’s through a bit of a different lens, given the massive success of his sports talk show with Ma$e, It Is What It Is. Moreover, it’s still great to see the Dipset member be a part of the game, whether that’s occasional performances, releases, or just being part of the conversation. Still, with that experience and knowledge gained over a long time, plenty of people will try to downplay your impact, especially those that don’t know your full history. As such, he carved out a time slot of It Is What It Is to address haters calling him old.

“Listen, let me tell you something about being older,” Cam’ron’s remarks about being called a dinosaur began. “The n***as be like, ‘Oh, you’re old this, that, and the third.’ All older means is I know everything you know and more. I look just as good as you, and I f**k the b***hes that’s your age, and I get more money than you, n***a.

Cam’ron Goes Off On Haters Calling Him Old: Watch

“So you can get the f**k out my face with that s**t, n***a,” Cam’ron continued his hilarious and animated rant. “I’m talking to them n***as in the early 20s. I’m not talking teenage; n***as 20 to 25. ‘Oh, n***as old.’ I had a million when I was 20, shawty, how much you got? Still getting mad millions and I look better than you because you on drugs You know what’s dope about this? I could bone your girlfriend and your mother. So be easy talking to me when you 20 to 25 talking that older s**t. I love it here.”

Meanwhile, the New York MC can be just as cutting and unfiltered in his football analysis, as Russell Wilson recently learned the hard way. Cam had the bright idea for him to dump Ciara in order to improve his game, which seems like quite the extreme solution. He and Ma$e make for a great on-air team, and whether it’s sports or music-related, seeing them find this platform has been a treat. Lil Yachty Takes Aim At His Haters With New Merch

Lil Yachty has been having a huge career resurgence over the past year or so. Overall, a lot of this can be attributed to his latest album, Let’s Start Here. With this project, Yachty ditched a hip-hop sound and decided to give us some psychedelic rock. The artist was definitely channeling some Tame Impala throughout the tracklist, and fans loved it. However, this does not mean he has abandoned hip-hop entirely. Instead, he has been dropping some amazing rap bangers while also contributing to Drake’s For All The Dogs.

Needless to say, Yachty is getting co-signs that plenty of other artists wish they had. There is no telling what Yachty is going to do next, and his fans are very excited about the future. That said, the artist remembers just how loud the haters used to be. People used to call Yachty one of the worst rappers of all time. Well, he is now looking to combat that with his latest piece of merch. Below, you can see his new black and white t-shirt in which the message is crystal clear.

Lil Yachty Makes A Statement With This Shirt

“I’ll never forget y’all hated on Lil Yachty for no reason,” the shirt says. It is very clear that Yachty feels like a lot of the hate that plagued his early career was all for nothing. At the time, people just didn’t understand his sound. When you don’t understand something, sometimes you show fear over it. That can definitely be said of the Charlamagne Tha Gods and the Ebros of the world. However, Yachty is the one who has come out on top in the end. One could make the argument that the haters are not worth addressing.

Will you be copping this shirt? Let us know, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always keep you informed on your favorite artists.

Rod Wave Warns Haters He’s Going To Start Hitting The Gym

Rod Wave haters beware. In a recent livestream, the rapper outlined his fitness. “All y’all calling out my name, making fun of me. I’m going to hit the gym, I’m gon get my motherfucking six-pack. We finna gonna tighten up. And I’m gonna get everybody back, man.” We hope that Wave’s fitness journey goes well and he gets the results that he wants from it.

Wave has gotten a lot of hate for his physique, with many people resorting to fat-shaming and other nasty comments to make fun of the artist. To illustrate that point, the comments of the clip shared by Akademiks were full of people making fun of Wave. “He finna get a 6 pack of cheeseburgers,” one person wrote. “Yeah cus he needa get rid of that jello pack,” added another.

Wave Gets Massive First-Week Projection

A post shared by DJ Akademiks (@akademiks)

Haters can keep hating, but Wave is living it large right now. The first-week projections for his new album, Nostalgia, have sales of 130,000 to 140,000. That could see him take #1 on the Billboard 200, a spot currently occupied by Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts. In fact #1 and #2 are both new releases on the current chart, with V’s Layover coming in at #2. However, it’s not like there isn’t precedent for it. Wave’s last two albums, SoulFly and Beautiful Mind, both hit #1. Furthermore, all four of his previous albums are certified platinum. He might not be the first name that comes to mind in terms of “rap success” but he certainly has the data to back it up.

Additionally, what makes the projection even more impressive is that Nostalgia is not carried by a wealth of features. Wave is a pretty niche artist and there’s no harm in that. However, the 18-track project has just three features, with the biggest name collab being with 21 Savage. The other features are indie band Wet and rising star Sadie Jean. However, we will have to wait and see whether Wave is able to take that #1 spot from Rodrigo next week.

DDG Slams Haters For Saying Halle Bailey Can “Do Better”

DDG called out fans on Twitter, Monday, complaining that they’ve been saying his partner, Halle Bailey, can “do better.” DDG remarked that they’re hypocritical about their own love lives and that the internet is not representative of real life.

Bailey recently revealed that their love has been serving as an inspiration for her new music as she prepares for the release of her debut solo EP. Speaking with Cosmopolitan, earlier this month, she explained: “Love has been a really big one for me too, because that’s something I’m experiencing for the first time, and it’s, like, ‘whoa’ in your brain. Lil Uzi Vert Sends Cryptic Message To Their Hometown Haters

Lil Uzi Vert hopped on social media recently to send a message to haters from their hometown. In a new clip taken from their Instagram Story, Uzi warns those who have issue with them, claiming that they’re “not on that friendly sh*t” anymore. “You broke a** n***as back home better stop playing before I give you a million you can’t spend,” they captioned the clip.

“I don’t f*ck with none of you n***as, it is what it is.” Clearly, Uzi’s feeling some type of way. It’s unclear exactly what prompted them to send the cryptic message, but it’s safe to say that they’re fed up. They finished up the post with a selfie, adding “they wish they was me.”

Lil Uzi Vert Says Their Haters Wish They Were Them

It’s clear that Uzi’s not messing around anymore when it comes to drama back home in Philly. Luckily, they appear to be pretty confident that they’ve come out on top. They are still hot off the success of their last LP, Pink Tape, with another eagerly-anticipated project on the way. Fans have been geared up for Barter 16 for some time now, as Uzi started teasing it pretty much right after dropping Pink Tape. Now, however, the rapper really seems hopeful that it’ll arrive soon.

Earlier this month, Uzi was approached by some reporters while they were in their car, who asked them about the mixtape’s release date. At the time, they claimed that they were trying to get it out “by the end of next week.” London On Da Track also announced on Twitter that the project has been turned in. Apparently, leaks are largely responsible for all the delays. What do you think of Lil Uzi Vert’s recent Instagram Story? Cardi B Takes Advice For Handling Haters From Beyonce

Cardi B is learning sometimes it’s best to not clap back at her haters. While she isn’t exactly known for picking fights with just anyone, she has had a number of high-profile battles in her past, Now, in a new interview on The Sprout Podcast she spoke on learning new ways to deal with haters. “Surprisingly, I have held myself back a lot … from a lot of things,” she begins. “You see how Beyoncé addresses her things — she does not address them at all,” Cardi elaborates. She’s not kidding either. Beyonce has dodged plenty of hate and the occasional controversy in recent years by saying very little of anything publicly.

Carrying on in the conversation though, Cardi B explains that every artist handles things differently. I feel like every artist should do what works for them and what’s good for they mental health because I feel like, if addressing things to Beyoncé affects her mental health, then don’t do it,” she concludes. “But me, bottling things inside and let people, like, front certain narratives of me, it will bother me inside.  So, I’d rather just let it out.” Check out the story below.
