Mia Khalifa Mocks Tiffany Haddish For Going To Israel To “Learn And See With Her Own Eyes”

Mia Khalifa is someone who has been very adamant in terms of her support for Palestine. Overall, she has even gotten in trouble for her remarks about what is happening Gaza. Khalifa expressed empathy for those in Hamas, noting that Israel has continuously kept Gazans under occupation. However, many took exception to these comments and Khalifa was promptly removed from her role over at Playboy. Furthermore, she has also received hate from people online who believe her past invalidates her political opinions.

Meanwhile, yesterday, Tiffany Haddish began going viral as she claimed that she was on her way to Israel. Haddish is Jewish and she wanted to go to the country to see what is really going on. As she put it, she wants to “learn and see with my own eyes.” Subsequently, Haddish was mocked by many on the internet. Fans found this move to be extremely disrespectful, especially with so many people dying in Gaza right now. Even Mia Khalifa had to step in with a sarcastic tweet of her own.

Mia Khalifa Weighs In

“On my way to North Korea to learn and see with my own eyes,” Khalifa wrote on Twitter. Many of the fans in her replies thought she was being serious. However, if you were paying attention to everything going on with Haddish, it became obvious as to what Khalifa was talking about. No matter what, there is no denying that Haddish’s recent trip is in poor taste. Whether or not she actually sees anything, still remains to be seen. After all, this could very well just be a propaganda tool.

Let us know what you think of Tiffany Haddish’s upcoming move, in the comments section below. Do you agree with her decision to go to Israel? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the entertainment world. We will always be sure to keep you informed.

Kodak Black Supports Israeli Hostages & Advocates For Their Freedom In New Clip

Kodak Black is currently in federal custody on drug-related charges, but not all of his public statements and developments fall under that negative light. As a complex figure in the hip-hop world right now, he’s always felt pulled apart at both ends: one of which shows the dark side of his struggles, and another that sees him try to emerge to the light from within them. On that last note, TMZ recently obtained a video of the Florida rapper reportedly recorded before he went back into federal prison. In it, he calls for the liberation of Israeli hostages in the conflict between the nation’s government and Hamas terrorists.

This conflict took thousands of civilian lives thus far, and with things not getting any better, hopefully this message reaches fans who wouldn’t have batted an eye otherwise. In addition, Kodak Black also showed off a ring of the Star of David and shouted out his Hebrew and Haitian heritage. Another cause for which he’s been a light advocate of is drug treatment reform, something which the court denied him during this recent incarceration. Given all of Yak’s legal complications up to this point, this will likely be a very tough case to navigate.

Kodak Black Speaks On Israel-Hamas Conflict: Watch

However, at least his legal team seems committed to defending their client fairly as the prosecution builds their case. Kodak Black’s attorney Bradford Cohen recently denied that his client had cocaine, and alleged that authorities found Percocet instead. As such, this suggests that the case built against him could fall under false pretenses in the public eye, ones which are crucial to dispel in hearings and legal developments. Maybe this will prove to turn the Pistolz & Pearlz artist’s case around, although it seems so deep into parole violations and complications that it seems unlikely.

Meanwhile, it’s still heartening to see him speak out on wider humanitarian issues despite being busy with his own problems. After all, there’s a lot of advocacy and important conversations that many artists have so much power to speak on, but refuse to engage with. With another baby boy reportedly on the way in 2024, we hope that the 26-year-old continues to assume accountability, find this balance of messaging and career success, and lead a more fulfilling life. Israel & Hamas Complete 2nd Prisoner Swap

Hamas and Israel completed a second prisoner swap on Saturday night. In doing so, Hamas freed 13 Israelis and 4 Thai nationals while Israel set 39 Palestinians free. The hostage exchange is part of a four-day pause in the war between the two sides. Hamas originally captured around 240 hostages during their attack on October 7.

Israel Defense Forces said in a statement on Friday that the first hostages “underwent an initial medical assessment inside Israeli territory” and soldiers would accompany them to hospitals “where they will be reunited with their families.” According to NBC News, a senior Israeli government official told the outlet that the agreement came as a result of pressure from President Joe Biden. “Just a couple of days ago, Biden came with the final deal saying a five-day pause and Netanyahu said four days,” they told the outlet. “This deal was a Biden deal, not a Netanyahu deal.”

Israel Releases Dozens Of Palestinian Prisoners

People gesture from a Red Cross bus carrying Palestinian prisoners released from Israeli jails in exchange for hostages released by Hamas from the Gaza. Strip, in Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank, on November 26, 2023. Israel’s prison service said 39 Palestinian detainees were released on November 26, 2023 under the terms of a truce agreement between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The announcement came after 13 Israeli hostages were freed in the Palestinian territory under the deal, along with three Thais as well as a Russian-Israeli dual citizen. Not everyone has had a positive response to the hostage deal. Former President Donald Trump took a subtle shot at Biden while discussing the agreement on Saturday. “Has anybody noticed that Hamas has returned people from other Countries but, so far, has not returned one American Hostage?” he wrote on Truth Social. “There is only one reason for that, NO RESPECT FOR OUR COUNTRY OR OUR LEADERSHIP. This is a very sad and dark period of America!”

Hamas is expected to release 50 hostages, while Israel will free 150 Palestinian prisoners as part of the swap. Be on the lookout for further updates on HotNewHipHop.

Drake’s Dad Seemingly Responded On His Behalf Over The Decision To Stay Silent On The Israeli-Hamas Conflict

Drake has faced a lot of pushback recently over his latest solo album, For All The Dogs. Unfortunately, that’s not where the outrage ends. After his social media spats with Joe Budden and Andrew Tate, he’s decided to lay low for a while.

Still, others, including DJ Vlad, are looking to Drake to make a statement about the ongoing conflict between the Israel and Hamas. Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, seemed to offered a response on his behalf over the decision to stay silent. During an encounter with TMZ Saturday, October 14, Graham shared his thoughts.

When asked if Drake’s Jewish heritage intensified his sadness about the tension in the region, Graham replied, “I’m sure it affects everybody. It’s just totally ridiculous… If you say something about this one, you are going to get criticized. If you say something about someone else, you’re going to get criticized… It’s best to say out of it, especially if you’re someone that’s well known.”

He continued, “Being a celebrity and saying something that favoring one against the other it’s going to come back on you. Just be quiet.”

This isn’t the first time Drake has been called out for being silent on political issues. In July, Ebro Darden referred to Drake’s lack of discussion on Black issues while filming the Apple Music show Rap Life Review, which he later walked back.

Here’s The Death Toll From The Israel Music Festival Attack

Tensions between Israel and Hamas have continued to grow. Over the weekend, after the former declared war following a massive attack, “Uptown Funk” singer Bruno Mars was forced to cancel the second day of his concert in Tel Aviv’s Park HaYarkon due to safety concerns. The 2023 Tribe Of Nova Festival, held on October 7 in southern Israel, was attacked by militant forces.

Reports in the region are still gathering the facts as outlets verify the gruesome footage shared on social media. What is known so far? Outlets such as CBC and CNN have reported the death toll from the Israel music festival attack, confirming that at least 260 people have been recovered from festival grounds. As of Monday, October 9, the total number of attendees has not been revealed.

During U2’s recent concert at The Sphere in Las Vegas, frontman and Nobel Peace Prize nominee Bono offered his condolences to the people, families, and other loved ones of those affected by the attack.

“In the light of what’s happened in Israel and Gaza, a song about non-violence seems somewhat ridiculous, even laughable, but our prayers have always been for peace and for non-violence,” Bono told the crowd. “But our hearts and our anger, you know where that’s pointed. So sing with us… and those beautiful kids at that music festival. It was a festival of music and peace. A festival of music and peace. Can you imagine?”

Bruno Mars is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Here Is Where The Israel Music Festival Attack Occurred

I’m desperate for the day when we no longer have to write explainer articles about terrorist attacks, but unfortunately and tragically, today is not that day. More than 260 bodies have been recovered so far from the site of the Tribe Of Nova trance music festival in Re’im, a village in southern Israel, after “Palestinian militants stormed the festival and opened fire as part of a huge surprise attack on Israel” on Saturday, October 7, as BBC News relayed — citing a rescue agency called Zaka.

As per The New York Times, Hamas is “the Palestinian militant group that controls the Gaza Strip,” and it “launched in largest surprise attack in decades,” and as of this morning, October 9, “more than 1,100 people have been killed in Israel and Gaza […] with the death roll expected to rise.”

According to multiple reports from such reputed sources as The Washington Post and The New Yorker, the Nova festival (also referred to as Supernova Sukkot) “was one of the first sites targeted.” CNN described the festival grounds as being “in a rural farmland area near the Gaza-Israel border.”

Bruno Mars was scheduled to perform on Saturday at Park HaYarkon in Tel Aviv, Israel, but his headlining concert was canceled in the horrifying aftermath. Across the world at the newly opened The Sphere in Las Vegas, Bono and U2 honored the victims.

“We sing for our brothers and sisters, who they themselves were singing at the Supernova Sukkot festival in Israel,” Bono said in the below clip. “We sing for those. Our people. Our kind of people. Music people. Playful, experimental people. Our kind of people. We sing for them.”

Kylie Jenner Deletes Post Supporting Israel, Mia Khalifa Calls On Journalists To Hold Her Accountable

Kylie Jenner has deleted an Instagram post in which she expressed support for Israel. The post, which showed the Israeli flag and read “Now and always, we stand with the people of Israel!”, came after the resumption of hostilities in the nation. An incursion by Hamas, a Palestinian militant organization, was met with a declaration of war by Israel. Both sides have accused the other of civilian atrocities as the death toll has already surpassed 1100. The Gaza Strip is the smaller of the two enclaves that form Palestine and has been under Israeli military occupation since the 1960s. Western nations have largely fallen in behind Israel. Meanwhile, nations such as Iran, and other organizations such as Hezbollah have praised Hamas.

Jenner’s post-and-delete was called out by Mia Khalifa, the Lebanese activist and former adult actress. However, Khalifa also took aim at media outlets that will in all likelihood not press Jenner on the decision. “If true journalism exists, the next person to talk to Kylie Jenner will ask for her opinion on geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and not break eye contact until she can string one coherent sentence together since she wants to take a stance to her 400M followers so badly,” Khalifa wrote on X.

Death Toll Rises In Israel And Palestine

At the time of writing, Israel has refused to release an official death toll of the Hamas attacks that sparked the latest war between the two sides. However, officials have claimed the number could be as high as 700. Meanwhile, Palestinian officials claim that Gaza has been officially blockaded by Israel. Furthermore, officials have said that Israel’s promise of “mighty vengeance” that will be “felt for generations” is a thinly veiled excuse to directly attack Palestinian civilians. Palestinian casualties are also believed to be in the hundreds as Israel bombed houses, road infrastructure, and mosques. At least 78 Palestinian children are believed to be among the nearly 500 dead.

However, questions have been raised as to why the Hamas attack was so successful. The Israeli military was seemingly caught off-guard almost 50 years to the day after Israel was hit with a surprise attack from Egypt and Syria in the Yom Kippur War. Anti-Palestinian security measures have been a pillar of Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-wing government. However, Hamas forces were able to enter Israel and attack settlements at will in the initial attack this week. The ongoing conflict
