Funk Flex Implicates Charlamagne Tha God In DJ Envy Real Estate Scheme

DJ Envy is certainly feeling the heat from the feds right now as they continue to investigate his involvement in a messy real estate fraud scheme. The media personality maintains his innocence there, but that hasn’t stopped his contemporaries from laying into him. Most notably, Funk Flex has had his foot on Envy’s neck non-stop as updates on the investigation continue to come out. As Akademiks pointed out in his coverage, the beef is reminiscent of previous spats between Hot 97 and Power 105.1 in the 2010s.

“Imma tell you the question of the day, of the week, of the month,” Flex told listeners earlier this week. “Mr. Real Estate RICO. Did you know that Ceasar was a crook? Or were you too d*mb to know that he was a crook?” Much to people’s amusement, the 55-year-old added bomb sound effects after virtually every statement for dramatic effect.

“Either way, you don’t win,” Flex put Envy on blast for his ignorance. “According to a lot of label people – let me tell you something New York – there’s three people involved. There’s Real Estate RICO, and there’s Lesser Charge Leonard, the pedophile,” he added, seemingly looping Charlamagne Tha God into the situation. “Then you got Ceaser, who was arrested last night by the feds,” Funk further antagonized his nemesis, who’s still waiting to find out what lays in store for his future.

Despite warnings from those around him, DJ Envy still failed to see the red flags in his recent real estate endeavours. As it turns out, Joe Budden once suggested to The Breakfast Club host that he could end up in jail for his actions – caution Envy clearly didn’t take seriously. Funk Flex Puts Maintenance Man On Blast In Odd Video: “LISTEN TO THIS LYING PIECE OF GARBAGE”

As a result, many celebrities invest in high-tech security systems. However, even with those measures in place, they remain skeptical of any unfamiliar faces emerging at their residence. Funk Flex proved this once again when he shared a video of a man he didn’t recognize at his house, immediately assuming that the stranger had bad intentions instead of seeing the bigger picture.

“LISTEN TO THIS LYING PIECE OF GARBAGE,” the DJ wrote in the caption of his post. “TRYING TO LURE ME OUT OF MY HOUSE TO ROB ME OR HURT E FOR WHAT I’VE WORKED HARD FOR MY WHOLE LIFE,” he continued to speculate. Based on the visual, however, it seems as though the man was only trying to perform routine maintenance on Flex’s sprinkler system. “Damn this was a corny a** post,” one IG user reflected when Akademiks shared the clip on his page.

Flex’s finishing touches for his rant were hinting at having a legal gun in his home before throwing in a row of laughing emojis. “Hear me out, since it’s getting cold in NY, he has the wrong address to turn off your sprinklers,” someone suggested. Elsewhere, others joked that the 55-year-old’s latest nemesis, DJ Envy, was responsible for sending the technician to Funk’s home as their feud continues.

Offset Goes All Out With His Funk Flex Freestyle: Watch

Offset has been everywhere in terms of the media. Firstly, we got to see him on Kai Cenat’s stream which lasted a full 24 hours. During that stream, Offset was being threatened by Kenneth Petty and his friends. However, he came out of all of it unscathed and even went to Colorado to see the Buffaloes play. Since that time, he has done interviews with Bobbi Althoff, Ebro, and even The Breakfast Club. For instance, on The Breakfast Club, he got to address much of the drama that has surrounded him, including his relationship with Quavo.

This has proven to be great therapy for Offset. He can finally articulate some of the things that have been on his mind for months. Moreover, he is also doing this because he has an album coming out. Set It Off is dropping this Friday, and fans are very excited about it. Overall, this is promising to be an amazing album. During his album listening party a few weeks ago, he got a ton of praise. Now, fans across the board will get to experience it. As for his media appearances, he also dropped by Funk Flex to drop a freestyle.

As you can imagine, the artist brought a ton of energy to the freestyle. He sounds as hungry as ever, and he did a good job of rapping over a challenging DaBaby beat. This prestigious honor was bestowed upon him as an integral part of the assembly’s celebration of Hip-Hop’s 50th year. Originating from the streets of New York, Busta Rhymes has been honored for his extraordinary achievements, which have left an indelible mark during his impressive 30-year career span.

Moreover, the New York rap icon’s extensive list of accomplishments encompasses a remarkable three-decade-long rap journey. Funk Flex Responds To J.I.D’s Freestyle Comments

Funk Flex has responded to J.I.D’s recent admission that the New York DJ’s reaction to one of his freestyles left him “a little upset.” Funk Flex says that J.I.D is one of his favorite rappers.

J.I.D had been speaking with the Rap Radar Podcast when he revealed that he’s retired from freestyles. He explained that freestyling for Flex in 2017 was a “childhood dream.” However, Flex’s subdued reaction hurt him. J.I.D had freestyled over Screwball’s “F.A.Y.B.A.N.” and Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya?”

“That was a good time. Funk ain’t even understand what was going on,” J.I.D said. “He was kerfuffled, I was giving him something and he ain’t even get it. We might go back one day. I silently retired away from the freestyles because I was mad at Flex because he didn’t respond the way I wanted to.”

J.I.D added that he will most likely make a return to freestyles at some point. “It’s another part of the art,” he said. “It’s another notch on your tool belt.”

Flex responded to the comments on Instagram: “DID YALL KNOW THAT @JIDSV IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ARTIST?”

“WHO WANTS TO HEAR ANOTHER JID FREESTYLE?” he continued before adding: “WHOS YOUR FAVORITE ARTIST TO HEAR FREESTYLE?”

J.I.D commented on the post that it’s all “love” between them and that he’s willing to “run it back.”

While he’s avoided freestyles, J.I.D released his first studio album since 2018 last year, The Forever Story. The project featured Kenny Mason, EarthGang, 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, Yasiin Bey, Lil Wayne, and more.
