Jamie Foxx is back with another update on his health. Sharing a collection of photos in a white tee, with a knit bucket and holding red crocs, Foxx let fans know -he was in an “unexpected dark journey.”
“You’re lookin at a man who is thankful… finally startin to feel like myself… it’s been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light…,” Foxx wrote. “I’m thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers… I have a lot of people to thank… u just don’t know how much it meant… I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day…”
Jamie Foxx is back to work, shooting commercials in Vegas and having fun with his friends. Pulling up on Breyon Prescott, Foxx hopped behind a gold drum machine to deliver the beat for his own freestyle about being in Miami, feeling like Uncle Luke.
Prescott delivered a caption to the video: “THIS IS HOW WE HAVE MADE SO MANY #1 HITS TOGETHER. “MILLIONS OF RECORDS SOLD !!! MY BROTHER @iamjamiefoxx IS TRULY THE MOST GIFTED INDIVIDUAL THAT I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH, SO BLESSED TO HAVE HIM BACK !!! THE BEST PART ABOUT HIM IS HE HAS ALWAYS TRUSTED ME !!!”
NBA veteran Lou Williams officially announced his retirement from professional basketball earlier this year. Williams was drafted 45th overall in 2005 out of South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Georgia. Furthermore, Williams was one of the last high school draftees to ever join the NBA, as the league prohibited teams from picking high school players from the 2006 draft onwards. Williams spent the first 7 seasons of his career with the Sixers. While Williams was a solid contributor, he was part of a Sixers team trying to find its identity after the departure of Allen Iverson. Becoming a free agent in 2012, Williams signed with the Atlanta Hawks but would be traded to Toronto in 2014. With the Raptors, Williams blossomed yet further into being a vital supporting player, picking up his first Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2015.
Finding himself a free agent once again, the guard signed a three-year deal with the Lakers. However, he was traded once more in 2017, joining the Rockets. He was then flipped to the Clippers just a few months later, where he would spend the next four years. Finally, Williams was traded back to the Hawks in 2021. Williams also left his mark on the music industry. Having recorded several singles himself, Williams featured on Meek Mill‘s Sixers hype track, “I Want It All”. Elsewhere, Drake‘s “6 Man”, from his 2015 mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, was about Williams. Now Lil Wayne is adding to that musical legacy.
Wayne shared an unexpected freestyle commemorating Williams’ career. Furthermore, the verse was full of references to the veteran sixth man’s time in the NBA. “My n-gga Lou Williams, man, 17 years in the game, finally retiring,” he said. “You the hardest n-gga in the world when you know the whole fucking NBA community know that you went to the fucking club to get some fucking lemon pepper Lou wings. And I know you know that if that would’ve been anybody else, them n-ggas would not be in the NBA! … N-ggas got songs after you, and you deserve every single bar, you deserve all your flowers, man.”
It’s not the first time Williams and Wayne have crossed paths. Along with 2Chainz, Wayne appeared on Williams’ 2021 single “Big Tuh“. Furthermore, Wayne is a massive basketball and holds a lot of respect for players such as Williams. Wayne’s freestyle earned praise from the music and basketball world alike. Drake commented: “the greatest ever.” Trey Young, who played with Williams on the Hawks, added “This tough af” followed by three fire emojis.
If you haven’t heard by now, there’s a new creative animated movie in town to take over your TikTok feeds with some fun- and bars, too. Moreover, Harry Mack just teamed up with the cast of the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, along with writer Seth Rogen and fellow cast member and very special guest, Ice Cube. The rapper posted a YouTube video of the occasion to promote the film and also showcase his sick freestyle for them. Of course, the freestyle came with a challenge: work in a set of words that each of the six film collaborators chose. After running them down, Mack breezed through “ooze,” “mayhem,” “manhole,” “superfly” (Cube’s character), “pepperoni,” and “warthog” with ease, and the West Coast legend was impressed.
Not only was Ice Cube bobbing his head the whole way through, but he also had some kind words for Harry Mack at the end. “That was the truth,” he told the YouTube rapper, which is far from the first time that a more established MC commended him. “That was the truth right there, good, without a doubt. Off the dome is the hardest rhyming, it’s the hardest rap you can do is off the dome. And he did it with ease. You a master. Yeah, without a doubt, I know what you just did, baby.”
Ice Cube Stamps Harry Mack’s Freestyle With His Seal Of Approval
Then, Harry Mack took to his social media to celebrate the honor. “Yoooo this was *NSANE!!” he captioned a clip of it on Instagram. “I was a huge fan of the TMNT cartoons as a kid, even had some of the action figures. Being involved with @tmntmovie in any capacity is dope- but naw, this was next level. Shout out to one of the dopest, most influential rappers of ALL TIME @icecube. For not only listening to my freestyle, but also giving mad props after I was done. That alone is enough motivation to keep me going for decades man I swear.”
“And I gotta say, hearing the iconic @sethrogen laugh in person was beyond special,” he continued. “That man is such a legend. Much love to the full turtle cast as well for rocking with my TikTok and already knowing who I was when I showed up, that was such an awesome surprise for me. The energy was top notch this whole day. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to do what I love for people I deeply respect. Go peep that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem in theatres August 2, it’s gonna be crazyyy.” Apparently Mack does this kind of thing often, as he did so for the Transformers cast not too long ago. Regardless, for more news and the latest updates on Ice Cube and Harry Mack, check back in with HNHH.

Over the weekend, Jamie Foxx returned with a three-minute video message for his fans. During the video, Foxx states he “went to hell and back” during his time of illness.
In the video, Foxx thanked his sister and daughter for saving his life, fighting back tears as he detailed his situation while still giving the viewing audience a laugh.
“I cannot even begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back. I went through something that I thought I would never, ever go through,” Foxx said.
Answering questions about his silence, Foxx revealed he did not want his fans to see him in the condition he was in.
“I just didn’t want you to see me like that,” Foxx said. “I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, a television show. I just didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through.”
“But I did go to hell and back,” he added. “My road to recovery had some potholes as well but I’m coming back, and I’m able to work.”
Foxx revealed there may be times in the future that we could see him crying and it’s for the journey that he made through.
Lonzo Ball is currently in a bad situation as far as his health is concerned. Back in 2022, Lonzo hurt his knee and had to miss the rest of the Chicago Bulls’ season. At the time of the injury, Lonzo was playing the best ball of his career. Moreover, the Bulls were one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. Subsequently, he got surgery on his knee but it didn’t seem to work. Consequently, he got a second surgery. When that surgery didn’t work either, the team decided to give him a cartilage transplant in his knee, which is a surgery that doesn’t come with a ton of success.
Overall, there is a real fear that Lonzo Ball will never play basketball again. However, many are holding out hope that this will not be the case. Instead, fans want to see him back on the court doing what he does best. After all, it would be a shame for a young career to be wasted in such a fashion. That said, in recent videos, Lonzo has appeared to be in good spirits. This is especially true in the clip down below, where Ball can be seen rapping to a beat from Biggie Smalls.
Lonzo Ball is someone who has rapped in the past. Although he isn’t much of a rapper anymore, he has put out music in before. Consequently, it should not be such a surprise that the basketball star has proficiency with the mic. Based on the video below, there is no doubt that people were feeling what was going on. At the end of the day, it is still good to see Lonzo doing well given everything he has been through as of late Hopefully, good fortune is on the way for him.

Atlanta-based rap diva Omeretta The Great is causing a stir with some of the lyrics in her latest release. Of course, it’s not the first time she’s done so. Back in 2022, the rising starlet’s “Sorry Not Sorry” sparked a debate about which rappers are really from Atlanta. That discussion appears to have since been settled. Instead, Omeretta has moved on to rhyming about more timely matters, such as the YSL RICO trial.
More specifically, the 27-year-old got a few things off her chest regarding those who have been dissing Gunna. Countless leaders in the hip-hop world have renounced the DS4Ever artist after he took a plea deal, either through their words or actions. His recent a Gift & a Curse project seems to have won him back some favour, but still, Gunna is a long way off from the position he used to be in prior to his arrest.
Omeretta Enters the Chat With Her “Put It On Da Floor (RettaMix)”
“They talking bout Baby making disses, I guess he picking a side / But this Atlanta business, someone tell Boosie be quiet,” Omeretta spits over the beat to Latto’s “Put It On Da Floor.” Her bars continue with, “I heard that Durk all on the ‘gram tryna boost up his pride / He sending disses at lil Gunna when Lil Y be outside.” Naturally, the “RettaMix” is getting plenty of attention on social media, which is likely just what the “Love Me” artist wanted.
Check out Omeretta The Great’s buzzworthy “Put It On Da Floor” remix above. Which rap diva do you think has done the best job at putting their own spin on Latto’s potential song of the summer? Let us know in the comments, and check back later this weekend for more HNHH release recommendations.

In a new clip, DaBaby is seen freestyling at a Circle K. He raps over Jay-Z’s track “Public Service Announcement” from 2003’s The Black Album. “Rip me out the wifebeater I been actin brand new” one commenter writes, noting that the rapper is also seen tearing his top off. “My guy ain’t had to rip his shirt off,” another adds.
This week, DaBaby celebrated on social media. Hip Hop All Day reported that he’s the only male rapper to have three songs from this decade reach one billion streams on Spotify. The rapper shared a clip from his “SHAKE SUMN” in honor of the achievement. Recently, a fan also offered DaBaby oral sex in public at Hot 97’s Summer Jam in New York City. After considering it briefly, DaBaby ultimately turned her down.
Earlier this month, DaBaby was accused of attempting to ambush Megan Thee Stallion with Tory Lanez. A memo from prosecutors says, “During the victim’s performance, the defendant went through security clearance and entered the green room.” It continues, “These areas were within 100 yards of the stage where the victim was performing, in violation of the protective order. It was also brought to the victim’s attention that the defendant and DaBaby attempted to rush the stage… In no way was the victim previously aware of nor did she consent to the defendant’s presence at the venue when she would be performing.”
Last month, Lil Durk detailed confronting the rapper about his collaboration with NBA YoungBoy, Better Than You. Durk refuted the claim that he came into DaBaby’s DMs “waving a white flag.“ He instead provided DJ Akademiks and his viewers with his side of the story. “I’m like, ‘Hey fam, whatever you got going on when y’all doing a tape, that’s y’all.’ You feel me?” he explained. “That’s when the other bullsh*t came out, ‘Waving the white flag in my DM.’” Durk says that the two of them were ultimately able to hash it out, and now they “don’t have a problem.”
For Jack Harlow fans, his Jackman album that landed earlier this spring was a pleasant surprise – especially for those who previously expressed a desire to see the budding actor work on his pen game following his sophomore LP. Unfortunately for Harlow, his project left a bad taste in the mouth of at least one of his contemporaries, who didn’t hesitate to diss the young rhymer in a freestyle over Jay-Z’s Eminem-produced 2001 hit, “Renegade.” Machine Gun Kelly shared his work shortly after Jackman made its debut, complete with bars from the artist declaring himself “the hardest white boy” since Slim Shady.
“I see why they call you Jackman, you jacked man’s whole swag / Give Drake his flow back, man, I eat rappers like Pac-Man,” the father of one rhymes, accusing Harlow of following too closely in the footsteps of Drizzy. The “Nail Tech” hitmaker didn’t respond at the time, but during a recent sitdown with Rap Radar, he was asked to share his thoughts on MGK’s bars. “How do you take it in? I guess you just f**king take it,” Jack said of the hate that comes along with being famous.
The White Men Can’t Jump star continued, “Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, and I feel great about what I said, and I feel great about the reaction. It just is what it is.” Harlow added that he feels “no reservations about what was said at all,” and that “talking [his] shit” is just part of being “an MC.”
Elsewhere on the podcast, the 25-year-old spills on making his acting debut in the recent 1992 remake, which Twitter has had mixed reactions to. On top of that, he also recalls receiving praise from Kendrick Lamar and shares his thoughts on the current state of the music industry.

Yesterday, Machine Gun Kelly dropped the newest video in his freestyle series and there are some familiar names involved. For this cypher, MGK is joined by Atlanta rapper Doe Boy. The pair deliver 4 minutes of bars over the beat to Cam’Ron’s classic hit “Killa Cam.” The video immediately began trending on YouTube and racked up over 400k views in less than 24 hours.
In his freestyle, Machine Gun Kelly doesn’t start any new beef, but he does deliver some mind-bending bars. “Y’all won’t give me my flowers, but y’all hypin’ this?, Ears must be damaged, someone Mike Tyson’d it, The flow’s tight like Ice Spice’s fit, But my ricks loose like my 4X white tee in 2006!” he says during the performance. His freestyle series has made waves in the past for a few different reasons. The previous episode featured an appearance from Cordae and has been viewed over 4.5 million times since it dropped last month. In a follow-up freestyle the “My Ex’s Best Friend” rapper took some shots at Jack Harlow following his claim that he’s the best white rapper since Eminem.
Machine Gun Kelly’s Backyard Cypher
Machine Gun Kelly is no stranger to having beefs. He famously has beef with Eminem which all stems from a decade-old tweet MGK made about Em’s daughter. The beef erupted in 2018 and resulted in some memorable viral diss tracks like “Killshot” and “Rap Devil.” In addition to Jack Harlow and Eminem, MGK has picked fights with the lead singers of The All-American Rejects and Slipknot in the past. His only new song in 2023 so far was the single “PRESSURE.” It dropped in late May and already has more than 5 million Spotify streams.
Doe Boy on the other hand has been very prolific this year. He just dropped his new album BEEZY which serves as a super quick follow-up to a pair of new projects he released last year. This isn’t the first time that Machine Gun Kelly and Doe Boy have crossed over musically. Way back in 2016, MGK featured on Doe Boy’s single “Gang” proving the pair have a long-lasting creative relationship. Let us know what you think of their new cypher in the comments below.
Ice Spice is frequently called the People’s Princess, but let the record show that Doechii is taking excellent care of her fans too. The “Persuasive” songstress has markedly been booked and busy at festival stages across the country over the past few months. Among her recent performances were two iconic shows at Coachella that may have been some of her best yet. When Beyonce tapped Kendrick Lamar for the “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM” remix amid her RENAISSANCE World Tour last month, it didn’t take long for Doechii’s fans to step in and say that their favourite singer deserves a spot on the hit song too.
She hasn’t gotten a call from Queen B (that we know of). Still, the Florida native did decide to drop a freestyle on her own YouTube account today (June 12). “Too much, ho, don’t do too much / Pullin’ up in a Magic City in an uber / Pockets fatter than a motherfuckin’ fupa,” Doechii’s clever but comedic rhymes begin over the infectious beat.
Doechii Does Her Thing Over Beyonce’s “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM”
“I see a lotta b*tches, I don’t see a lotta stars / I hear a lot of rappers, I don’t hear a lot of bars,” she later adds. “I see a lot of plastic, I don’t see a lot of barbz / I see a lot of digits, I don’t care about the charge.” Fans are already proclaiming their love for the previously-teased drop. Thankfully for them, it actually marks Doechii’s second arrival in the past few days. On Janelle Monae’s The Age of Pleasure album, the 24-year-old shines on “Phenomenal.”
Check out Doechii’s “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM (Freestyle)” exclusively on YouTube above. Afterward, let us know which of the TDE artist’s bars are your favourite in the comments, and read all about who Beyonce’s rumoured to be collaborating with next at the link below.
