The attorney for Rashad Murphy, one of five suspects in the ambush killing of Jacksonville rapper Charles “Julio Foolio” Jones, has requested a forensic neuropsychologist evaluation, hinting at a potential insanity defense. Prosecutors have indicated the case could qualify for the death penalty.

According to News4Jax, authorities allege Murphy is among three men who fired on Jones during a June attack in a Tampa hotel parking lot while Jones celebrated his 26th birthday. The assault, caught on surveillance video, is tied to an ongoing gang feud in Jacksonville.

Murphy was arrested following a SWAT standoff in July. His cousin, Davion Murphy, remains at large. Three others—Isaiah Chance, Alicia Andrews, and Sean Gathright—were arrested in Jacksonville and have pleaded not guilty in Hillsborough County.

The motion seeks a detailed psychological evaluation of Rashad Murphy, including clinical interviews, testing, and reviews of personal and medical records. If granted, the findings could influence the defense strategy in a case where the death penalty is on the table.

Jones was fatally shot on June 23 at a Holiday Inn on Fowler Avenue. Police believe Jones was attempting to secure a room at the hotel after being kicked out of an Airbnb while celebrating his 26th birthday.

Authorities have indicated that the suspects are members of rival Jacksonville gangs who collaborated to murder him. Jones had posted his location online multiple times before the shooting, and it is believed the suspects followed before ambushing his car at the Holiday Inn.

In addition to Jones, three others were injured in the shooting but survived their injuries. Law enforcement also released a video of the incident, highlighting the suspects stalking Jones, wearing all black, and firing upon a car in which Jones attempted to escape. According to News4Jax, He was sitting in the front passenger side. The shooters were armed with a handgun and two rifles. The murder was the latest in a history of violence between 6 Block, which Foolio was a member of, and the gang’s rivals ATK and 1200.

“Today, three dangerous criminals are off our Florida streets and in police custody where they belong,” Waters said. “These individuals have chosen lives of urban terrorism and with arrests we show Tampa, Jacksonville and the rest of Florida, we hold violent criminals accountable.”

Video was also released of the moment when authorities arrested the alleged murderers, which you can see below.

Additionally, warrants have been issued for Rashad Murphy, 30, and Davion Murphy, 27, who are still at large, according to WFLA.

The rapper, whose real name was Charles Jones, was fatally shot on June 23 at a Holiday Inn on Fowler Avenue. Police believe Jones was attempting to secure a room at the hotel after being kicked out of an Airbnb while celebrating his 26th birthday.

Three Foolio Murder Suspects Have Been Arrested By Tampa Police, With Two More Remaining At Large

Tampa police have arrested three of five of the people suspected of involvement in the murder of Florida rapper Foolio, who was gunned down in June at the age of 26. According to TMZ, Tampa police announced they arrested Alicia Andrews, Isaiah Chance, and Sean Gathright in Jacksonville; all three have been charged with first-degree murder. The two remaining suspects are brothers, Davion and Rashad Murphy. Per the Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw, all five have connections to a gang supposedly tied to another rapper, Yungeen Ace, with whom Foolio was known to be feuding over the past few years as both gained popularity.

Foolio was killed in the early hours of June 23, as multiple gunmen surrounded and shot at his vehicle in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn, where he was celebrating his 26th birthday after getting booted from an Airbnb for violating occupancy rules. TMZ shared security video released by police that showed the shooters approaching the hotel parking lot and firing at the rapper’s car with automatic rifles. Three other victims were apparently shot and hospitalized, but there were no other reported fatalities.

Yungeen Ace’s feud with Foolio went viral as a result of Ace’s 2021 song “Who I Smoke,” which drew attention for its interpolation of Vanessa Carlton’s fan-favorite 2002 hit “A Thousand Miles.” After Foolio’s death, he released another diss track, “Do It.”

“Foolio” Claims He Will Be Voting For Donald Trump As The Unnerving IG Posts Continue

The legacy of Foolio continues to be carried on in the most disrespectful and chilling manner, as the alleged unknown hacker states that they will be voting for Donald Trump. Ever since the unfortunate passing of the Jacksonville, Florida rapper, someone has been tampering with his Instagram account in particular. They do not seem to be slowing down at all any time soon, and at this point, who knows if we will unearth the troller. This is just one of a dozen plus headlines that “Foolio” has stirred up in the last month or so.

Other unnerving acts consist of the user claiming that the indeed late MC is still alive, taunting his foe Yungeen Ace on multiple occasions, and etc. This support for former President Trump is obviously extremely timely. On Saturday, July 13, the controversial Republican candidate was at one of his more important rallies of his election campaign in the small rural town of Butler, Pennsylvania. During his monologue to the crowd, he was shot at by a now identified 20-year-old man by the name of Thomas Crooks.

Luckily, the multiple attempts to end Trump’s life were non-fatal. The only damage done was some blood running down from his right ear. There is a whole lot of debate surrounding this near tragic event, with some saying Trump set this up somehow. Additionally, that same camp also feels that this situation ensures that he will head back to The White House for another four years. Well, it seems that this helped “Foolio” make his decision as the unknown user posted on their IG Story who is getting their vote. “Yall gone have Trump running America like @julio_foolio IG page… Im voting 4 Trump”, “Foolio” stated with a clip from the day of the shooting. Overall, a lot of fans are fed up with this person’s antics, but that is not going to stop this troller’s reign, sadly.

What are your thoughts on “Foolio” claiming to vote for Donald Trump? Do you foresee the alleged hacker of the late rapper’s IG account ever reveal themselves? Is this creeping you out still, or is just getting disrespectful in your eyes now? Where do you stand on the assassination attempt debacle? Foolio’s Family Reportedly Held A Private Funeral Ceremony In Jacksonville

Ever since the shocking news that Foolio passed late last month, the headlines surrounding it have been far from positive. While he did get involved in several beefs with his contemporaries, the amount of hate has been undeserved. Fellow rapper Yungeen Ace dished out two diss tracks in rapid succession. Asian Doll also appeared to be extremely unbothered by Foolio’s loss on Twitter. Then, mysteriously, an alleged hacker got a hold of the deceased MC’s Instagram account. It led to various unsettling posts surrounding the fact that Foolio is immortal/a demigod. It did not stop there though, as the troller uploaded promotions, comments under Yungeen Ace’s diss track, and even photos of the rapper’s alleged killer.

We can only imagine how Foolio’s family and friends have been handling this, as they continue to try and move on. Fans have been creeped out over these last couple of weeks about these developments. It is probably safe to say they are echoing his loved one’s emotions. However, the silver lining in all of this is that Foolio can at least be away from the drama.

According to some photos from No Jumper, it appears that his family held a private funeral service for him. Little is known about the details surrounding the burial as of now. However, these images seem to confirm that it did in fact happen. Foolio’s body was placed inside of a custom casket which appears to have a couple of interpolations of some murals of him. It was transported to cemetery via a horse and carriage and another photo shows presumably some close friends getting ready to release doves. Our condolences continue to go out Foolio’s closest people during this time.

What are your thoughts on Foolio reportedly having his funeral ceremony? Has this been one of the oddest situations out any late rapper, why or why not? What else do you think could happen following his burial? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Foolio’s Fatal Shooting Caught On Surveillance Video: Watch

The Foolio shooting shocked the hip-hop world on June 23. The rapper was only 26 years old, and a burgeoning star in his native Florida. Police have yet to announce suspects in relation to the shooting, but TMZ has obtained surveillance footage of the fateful incident. The tragic shooting took place only two days after Foolio’s birthday and show him being approached by two men in a hotel parking lot. What follows is a chilling display of violence.

Foolio is never seen in the surveillance footage. He is either offscreen, or inside the vehicle in which his body was found. The angle of the camera shows a gunman approaching and then firing rounds. He fires on Foolio’s vehicle as it approaches him, and eventually crashes as it exits the parking lot. The shooter who is clearly seen in the video tails the car with weapon still in hand. The footage ends with the shooter in question walking out of frame. His face is not visible at any point. TMZ claims that there were multiple culprits, but the others are harder to spot in the background.

Foolio Is Seen Fleeing The Scene After Being Shot

The shooting took place at 4:37 a.m. in Jacksonville, Florida. There were three other people in the car with Foolio at the time of the shooting, but all of them survived. The investigation into Foolio’s death has been overshadowed by the antics tied to it via social media. Footage of one of the alleged shooters was posted to Instagram on July 2, and Foolio’s account commented on it. It remains to be seen who is on the late rapper’s account, but the mysterious party wrote: “Demi God” in the comment section.

Foolio’s death was the third Jacksonville shooting to take place in one week. Sheriff T.K. Waters told Fox that there are no suspects, but the police is committed to bringing the shooters to justice. He also cited the diss tracks that have been made in the wake of these shootings. “It ain’t cool now. It’s over now, its over for (Jones), its permanent,” he noted. “Now we have to deal with the mess of cleaning it up.” T.K. Waters did not provide additional information, but he did assure locals that the investigation is already underway. “If it takes us following them one at a time, we will follow them one at a time,” he asserted.

Foolio’s Hacked IG Comments On Leaked Photo Of His Alleged Killer

The Foolio saga continues. The rapper was shot and killed on June 23 in Tampa, Florida. Generally, the rap community will mourn whoever’s life was lost, but the drama surrounding Foolio has drowned out the mourning. The rapper’s enemy, Yungeen Ace, has dropped two diss tracks since the shooting occurred. Even more bizarre, Foolio’s Instagram has remained active. The account has posted videos, and even left stray comments on Yungeen Ace’s disses. The account went silent over the weekend, but returned with a vengeance on July 2.

It was on this day that a photo of the rapper’s alleged killer surfaced online. The photo is blurry, as uploaded by the account Riemoh, but Foolio commented nonetheless. “Demi God,” the account wrote, with a purple demon emoji. It may seem confusing out of context, but this is a phrase that Foolio used while he was alive. During a No Jumper interview conducted in 2024, the rapper told the host that he could never die. “I ain’t going nowhere,” he asserted. “I’m a demigod. You can’t get me.” Foolio then posted the interview on his Instagram with the caption: “I’ll Never Die I’m a DemiGod.”

Foolio’s IG Wrote “Demi God” Underneath The Blurry Photo

The “Demi God” post also confirms that someone or some group of people have maintained control of the rapper’s social media. There are some fans who have theorized that the police have taken control of the account in an effort to locate the rapper’s killer. Then there are those who think Foolio’s mother is commenting from his account, but that doesn’t explain the odd, cryptic nature of the comments/posts.

Foolio’s mother issued a public statement following the rapper’s death. It was straightforward and sincere. She also announced that would be making a documentary about Foolio’s life. “The story that only I can tell because I know the Truths from the Fakes,” she wrote. “I think [I’m] the ONLY mother that [keeps] it Real while MOST others know [damn] well what was going on. with their OWN sons.” Foolio’s mother has no problem speaking her mind, so it stands to reason that she would admit she was the one posting under her son’s name. Hopefully the real identity of the IG user is eventually revealed.

Foolio’s Alleged Instagram Hacker Claims “The Game Just Begun”, Freaking Out Fans Again

Fans of Foolio continue to be disgusted, perplexed, and frightened, as his Instagram account remains active. Ever since the Florida rapper’s death was confirmed by his attorney on June 23, somehow someone has a hold of his social media account. The alleged hacker is still currently unknown and might be for a while as it is the internet after all. This suspicious activity was first noticed on June 28. The mystery person behind the keyboard left some “🗑” emojis under Yungeen Ace’s second distasteful diss track, “Game Over”. The comment has since been deleted, but it prompted the latter to respond. “You still f***ing with me dude 😂😂 I love you 4eva,” he wrote probably sarcastically. Then, just hours later, a short video was shared to Foolio’s IG, asking people to follow a separate account. That action has also been removed.

Two days would pass before the next creepy stunt. Via an IG Story, the alleged hacker shared a paystub of some sort showing that “Foolio” made $250,000 off a promo. Finally, just yesterday, an unnerving message was sent out along with a clip from a No Jumper interview. In it, the hosts were wanting to see him again and the MC promised they would see him again because he is a “demigod”. That led to the caption reading, “I’ll Never Die I’m a DemiGod 😈”. So, yes, it is safe to say that things are beyond weird right now for his fans, but also for his still grieving family and friends who have to suffer through this.

Unfortunately, it seems that until this person is caught, the unsettling actions are going to continue. In less than 24 hours, a disturbing clip from an older WWE wrestling match was reposted on his page, as well as video of him rapping in the car. The former is also on his Story and it was captioned, “My grandma does VOODOO”. However, the post to people’s feed had this message underneath, “He’s here, going to shock the world when the time is right. Game over?? The game just begun”. That was also axed from Foolio’s page, but that may be the most disturbing message yet. Fans share a similar sentiment with one person adding, “Boi this some spooky a** s*** ✌🏾”.

What are your thoughts on someone still running Foolio’s Instagram account? Who do you think is posting on it? Should Instagram personally deactivate his page going forward? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Foolio. Foolio’s Instagram Posts Promo Video Amidst Hacking Confusion

Foolio’s memory has not seen rest yet. The rapper’s tragic death has been overshadowed by a series of disses and bizarre incidents on social media. The former has come about due to Foolio’s beef with Yungeen Ace. The latter, however, is still a mystery that’s unfolding. Foolio’s Instagram account was hacked on June 28. This lead to a series of posts and comments that had hip-hop fans scratching their head.

On Friday night, the rapper seemingly urged fans to follow his profile. He did so in a video that was posted directly to the Foolio Instagram. “Aye, this Foolio man,” the rapper says into the camera. “Go follow my people… I’mma put their app below… go follow [them] right now.” The caption under the video reads: “No fuel, no deal. Everything guaranteed.” It’s unnerving to watch, however, knowing the rapper himself is not behind the upload. The hacker had already struck earlier in the evening. Earlier, Foolio seemingly commented on Yungeen Ace’s diss song “Game Over.” The hacker left a trash emoji in the comment section, which prompted Ace to respond.

All this is going on while the search for Foolio’s killers persists. Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters issued a statement on who the police are looking to Newsweek. He was careful not to reveal too much, though. “These groups – I won’t name them, they know who they are,” he explained. “We’re not going to tolerate any retribution, any revenge… we’re going to watch. We’re going to pay attention to what’s going on.” The Jacksonville police have not announced any suspects. Consequently, no arrests have been made.
