Joey Bada$$ Allegedly Caught Getting Into Heated Tussle Inside New York Clothing Store

Just a few days ago, Brooklyn rapper, singer, and actor Joey Bada$$ was given his own day. The mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, made an official declaration that December 20 be Joey Bada$$ Day. He made the announcement at the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development’s second annual Hip-Hop Holiday Giveaway. The DYCD Commissioner, Keith Howard said in part, “We are thrilled to honor artist Joey Bada$$ for his commitment to DYCD and youth, and his ImpactMENtorship program.” Speaking of the latter, Joey’s foundation also turned two years old. That program assists boys of color, ages 18 and up, to take the steps toward financial and professional success.

However, this amazing accomplishment is soured a bit due to an unfortunate encounter. Right now, there is photo and video evidence of Joey Bada$$ allegedly getting into a tense scuffle. Folks online are saying that this all went down at a New York City clothing store. The “Devastated” rapper appears to be the man in all black and he seems to get into some disagreement with the man in the dark gray hoodie.

Joey Bada$$ And The Man Appear To Get Into An Argument

About 30 seconds into the video, Joey Bada$$ looks to be getting ready to exit the store before things get out of hand. However, they do just moments later. It looks things escalate with the random man putting his mitts on the Pro Era act first. Of course, Joey pushes back, mostly to get the dude off of him.

But the stranger didn’t like that, and he winds laying a punch around the artist’s face. It turns into an all-out brawl with the two holding on to each other and landing some swings in the process. A bodyguard or security guard of sorts tries to separate them, but to no avail. They eventually wind up on the ground and the clip cuts out after that. Due to their being no audio, it’s hard to tell who or what instigated this situation. No arrests, injuries, or hospitalizations appear to have been reported yet.

Corey Holcomb Faces Accusations Of Punching A Female Comedian Over Months-Long Feud

Corey Holcomb has been accused of punching a female comedian named Cristina Payne outside of the Hollywood Improv club earlier this month. Moreover, according to law enforcement sources that reportedly spoke to TMZ, witnesses allegedly saw him approach Payne while he screamed at her and her friends. Apparently, the red flag spotter threatened to punch her in the face, and when a man got in between them, Holcomb allegedly went over him and punched her in the face. Sources also claim that Holcomb and witnesses tackled the man in between him and Payne, that Holcomb ran away, and that police on the scene filed a battery report.

Furthermore, according to reports, paramedics evaluated Cristina Payne and the other man after Corey Holcomb’s alleged attack, although they did not go to the hospital. According to TMZ‘s alleged sources, this stems from a months-long feud, as Holcomb allegedly told folks that he would “super sock” Payne. “Somebody come get this b***h before I f**k her up,” he allegedly expressed. The occasional homophobe is allegedly using his podcast to dismiss these accusations, per alleged sources close to Payne, but they claim that plenty of witnesses could testify against him if an arrest and charge occurs.

Corey Holcomb At The Players Club

At press time, no arrests have emerged and the case is still open. Corey Holcomb has had his fair share of issues with other comics, such as a viral shouting match with Donnell Rawlings over Holcomb dissing him and Dave Chappelle. “I catch you up in all these rooms in f***ing Brooklyn and you ain’t ever f***ed with [unintelligible]… You wanna talk about it?” Rawlings yelled at Holcomb. “You saying I’m mild, you saying I ain’t come through the streets or the gutters is straight bulls**t.”

Meanwhile, we’re sure that this won’t stop Corey Holcomb from getting his jokes off about Shannon Sharpe, Dave Chappelle, Cristina Payne, or anyone else. But hopefully both sides here can clear this situation up, as there’s a hatchet to bury here in an already combative and divisive year for the comic community. Sometimes words can’t solve every problem, but violence only creates them.

Claressa Shields Explains Her Surprising Reasons For Wanting To Fight Remy Ma

It seems like the cheating scandal between Remy Ma and Papoose is a bit more complicated than we thought, although it has nothing to do with the actual relationship. For those unaware, the former accused the latter of cheating on her with boxer Claressa Shields, but Remy has some cheating allegations of her own with battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain. The big shocker is that Shields’ desire to box the New York femcee has nothing to do with these claims of infidelity. In a teaser for her upcoming interview with Jemele Hill, the world champion revealed her real problems with Remy and spoke on their Instagram spat.

Furthermore, Claressa Shields had challenged any woman to beat her in a boxing match for $100,000, and while no one’s stepped forward, she clarified that she would fight Remy Ma for far less cash. “At this point the girl leaked my number,” the boxer expressed. “So at this point, you can give me a dollar and I’ll put my hand over her.” As such, it seems like this wouldn’t be a fight over Papoose, but rather a fight to make up for a perceived invasion of privacy.

Claressa Shields Explains Her Beef With Remy Ma

“It don’t have nothing to do with whatever else,” Claressa Shields remarked while explaining that her grievances with Remy Ma are not overly personal, but rather mostly professional. “It’s just that part alone. That part there is where it’s like, I’m a businesswoman. Don’t leak my number. Why would you do that? I mean, drama sells. I’m not in that beef. My smoke with her is posting my number. So people like, ‘Oh, she wants to fight her over a dude, whatever,’ stop it. Stop it. That is so beneath me.”

Meanwhile, Papoose recently clarified Fat Joe’s comments about the Remy Ma and Claressa Shields drama. Joey Crack spoke on how he couldn’t do much to stop their fighting despite being so close to both artists, whereas Pap clarified that he was not present at a dinner that Joe spoke of that got fans speculating rapidly. So as you can see, there is still a lot of baggage to handle.

BigXthaPlug Kicks Fans Out Of His Show For Picking A Fight In The Crowd

BigXthaPlug rocked the stage in Los Angeles last night (Wednesday, December 4), but some particularly rowdy fans interrupted his good time. Moreover, he was performing his hit song “Law & Order” during his show at The Regent in downtown L.A. for his sold-out TAKE CARE tour when he saw two men fighting in the crowd. The Dallas rapper stopped the show and instructed security to escort the men out of the venue. In fact, he seemed peeved by the fact that they weren’t even taking their fight seriously or fighting over anything significant, which was another reason to kick them out.

As for the rest of the show, from what TMZ Hip Hop reports, everything went quite smoothly for BigXthaPlug, and you can see footage of the fight by clicking on the “Via” link down below. The rest of the crowd proved to not act as disruptively, and he could run through the rest of his fan favorites with no hiccup. The “Therapy Session” MC has had plenty of hot tracks over the years, especially in 2024. There’s no shortage of bangers on this setlist.

In fact, BigXthaPlug’s explosive run in 2024 landed him a spot on this year’s XXL Freshman Class alongside 4batx, Hunxho, Scar Lip, Rich Amiri, Cash Cobain, Maiya The Don, Skilla Baby, That Mexican OT, Lay Bankz, and Bossman Dlow. Even though this year’s biggest rap stories revolved around most of its established superstars, seeing this new generation captivate fans in a different way became quite the treat to witness in 2024. Hopefully BigX continues this dominance into 2025, or if he decides to take a break, he furthers his craft and artistry to another level.

Still, we hope that BigXthaPlug can enjoy that success without having to play babysitter for rowdy concert-goers. “The Largest” might just become that much larger next year, especially if his knack for grimy bangers and triumphant trap gets more and more engrossing. Even though fans might not show the due respect for some shows here and there, he doesn’t need much more to really establish himself as a performance force. Just fight for real if you’re going to interrupt a BigX show, or preferably, not at all.

Lil Xan Gets Body-Slammed In New Footage Of His Mid-Concert Attack Towards Fan In The Crowd

Lil Xan recently became a little too aggressive at a show, as he kicked a fan in the crowd in the face and threw a mic at him during a Saturday night (November 23) concert at the Boston nightclub Royale. Moreover, new footage also shows someone appearing to be a security guard body-slamming him to the floor shortly after the incident. Many people believe that the rapper is currently on the run from police over this incident, but this new footage shows that he did not get away without a scratch. It seemed like he just really wanted to get some combative energy off his chest.

Furthermore, it’s unclear why this whole situation occurred, what led up to it, or how its parties would explain it, especially since Lil Xan allegedly assaulted two other individuals on his way out. Police arrived shortly after he had already left, and it’s unclear if they made any progress in their pursuit at press time. It certainly wouldn’t be the Total Xanarchy artist’s only legal and criminal headache of the year, though, as he had to pay almost $30K after threatening a Tupac fan with a firearm.

Lil Xan Body-Slammed In New Footage

“That interview should’ve never even been aired ‘cause I wasn’t in a good place during the interview,” Lil Xan said of his previous comments on Tupac. “I was angry at that time. And all that came down to was a result of me just trying to get the interview done quicker. I was like, ‘Next question. Next question.’ And then they just give me questions and I’m messing around. I think Tupac is a legend. I don’t have to explain myself to anybody, but I grew up on a lot of old school West Coast, a lot of old school East Coast.”

“It started an interesting conversation in hip-hop,” Lil Xan added. “I did get a lot of backlash, of course, but as the years have gone by since that moment, it started what I think is a very good conversation in hip-hop. Why do these new cats in hip-hop that weren’t even born when someone like Tupac was around, why do they have to idolize them like the older people? They can appreciate the craft and the music. It’s good. It’s amazing, it’s better than good. But if you think about it like that, that’s some hating stuff right there.”

Shannade Clermont Defends Destroy Lonely After Video Of Their Fight Goes Viral

Destroy Lonely faced domestic abuse allegations earlier this year, so when a new video surfaced of him arguing with his girlfriend Shannade Clermont at a gas station, fans expressed alarm. While it’s not exactly clear what they argued about in the clip, it seems like he was trying to get into the car with her, and she wouldn’t open it. All in all, it’s not a good look for the Opium rapper, especially considering previous controversies associated not just with his name, but with the label as a whole. But Clermont took to Twitter on Thursday (November 28) to ward off these more serious implications, explain that it was just an argument, and express her excitement for celebrating Thanksgiving with him.

“stop the f***ing lies,” Shannade Clermont tweeted of the Destroy Lonely video, and a series of other related tweets followed. “never had a disagreement with your partner??? Yall a strict f***ing crowd!! PLS.” “Lmao he was mad I locked him out.” “ready to feed my man ham, turkey, jerk chicken ,rice and peas, oxtails, Mac and cheese, pasta salad, candied yams, and my yams.” “Because we both petty and can talk s**t and f**k and laugh about it later.” “HE DID NOT [hit me].” “he treats me like a princess. I suck the soul outta him 28/7 because of that. Hope yall enjoy yall dry a** turkeys today!!” “IF [a] N***A SAYS HE HATES ME BUT STILL F***ING ME AND NOT GOING ANYWHERE I THINK THAT SAYS THE OPPOSITE.”

Shannade Clermont Defends Destroy Lonely

As such, it seems like fans can put this Destroy Lonely situation to rest while maintaining a reasonable view on the situation. But it’s important to scrutinize and proceed with caution in things like these. Elsewhere, he’s facing other problems in the industry, such as sample clearance issues with unsatisfied producers.

It’s also been a big year for Destroy Lonely outside of the headlines thanks to his LOVE LASTS FOREVER album and its expansion for hardcore fans. Maybe next year, the antics die down a bit and he can focus more on his craft, continuing to give listeners the sound they love.

Offset Dodges Question About Paris Brawl After Return To America

Offset dodged questions about his recent brawl in Paris while signing autographs for fans in Los Angeles following his return to the United States, this week. In a video published by TMZ, he signs several pieces of memorabilia for fans but departs once being asked about his fight with members of the French rapper Gazo’s entourage.

As for the Paris brawl, TMZ reports that it took place outside of Hôtel du Collectionneur. Gazo was reportedly unhappy with Offset’s “lazy” cooperation with the production of a music video he had agreed to appear in. Gazo allegedly wanted a refund of the $150,000 he paid for the collaboration, which Offset refused to cough up. The two eventually made amends, with Gazo sharing a photo of himself sitting down with the Migos rapper on Instagram. Fans couldn’t believe they patched things up that abruptly. “Noway offset and Gazo went from chilling too fighting under 24hrs,” one user commented on the post. “A few moments later…,” another wrote with a laughing emoji.

Hip-Hop Can’t Believe That Mike Tyson Lost To Jake Paul: See Rappers’ Reactions

Jake Paul took a win over Mike Tyson in their highly anticipated and officially sanctioned boxing match on Friday (November 15) at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and shocked many within the hip-hop community as a result. For those unaware, the fight faced a delay due to Iron Mike’s ulcer flaring up, witnessed a slap at Paul at the weigh-in, and saw a lot of people allege that they fixed the match. Each boxer’s interviews and statements before the big night also caught a lot of steam online, so there were multiple reasons to be curious about this outcome.

Jokes aside, Mike Tyson had made some pretty despondent comments ahead of the Jake Paul fight that also caught many’s attention. “”I don’t believe in the word legacy,” he told young reporter Jazzy’s World TV. “I just think it’s another word for ego. Legacy doesn’t mean nothing. That’s just some word everyone grabbed onto. […] It means absolutely nothing to me. I’m just passing through. I’ma die and it’s gon’ to be over. Who cares about legacy after that? What a big ego. ‘I want people to think I’m this, I’m great.’ No, I’m nothing. We’re just dead. We’re dust, we’re absolutely nothing. Our legacy is nothing.”
