Melle Mel Delivers Eminem Diss Track And Gets Scathing Critiques On Social Media

Melle Mel and Eminem have been embroiled in a bit of a feud as of late. Overall, it started when the former came out and said some things about Em and his place in hip-hop. These comments were quite controversial but by no means the worst thing that Em has heard. Regardless, Eminem decided to respond on someone else’s track. As we reported, Eminem hopped on “Realest,” a new song by Ez Mil, one of Em’s latest signees. It was here where he dropped scathing bars directed at Mel.

Earlier in the week, the legendary pioneer took to his Instagram and revealed that he was preparing a response to Eminem. As you can imagine, many were interested to see what kind of bars he would come with. Em can be an easy target at times, and there are plenty of avenues to launch a diss. Last night, Melle Mel dropped the diss track which was only 73 seconds in length. You can listen to it below.

Melle Mel Fights Back

Unfortunately for Mel, a lot of people were not feeling the diss track. While there were certainly some interesting bars to digest, some were underwhelmed by both the production and the flows. Overall, coming through with a diss track can be tough. People are expecting the best, and if you don’t bring the best, then you will get some heat for it. As you can see from the Twitter reactions below, Melle Mel actually got hit with some pretty brutal critiques.

Social Media Reacts

“Melle Mel dropped his Diss response track to Eminem… and I can confidently say it’s the worst piece of music released in 2023,” one person wrote. “I don’t think I can look at Melle Mel the same after that diss track,” wrote another. Let us know your thoughts on the diss track, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music world.

Cellski Recalls Bun B Defusing T.I. & Lil Flip Feud From Becoming “War”

Cellski says that Bun B once defused a tense situation between T.I. and Lil Flip that nearly broke out into “war.” He recalled the incident during a recent episode of the No Vultures podcast.

“Bun B — he pacing and shit,” he said in a clip posted on Friday. “[He] walked up to the truck, like, ‘Hey man. T.I. up there with hella n****s, and he talkin’ about taking some shots at you. I don’t think y’all should perform.’ And we all confused and shit.”

He continued: “So Flip like, ‘Man, somebody need to go see what’s going on.’ So I hop out of the truck, run up on the stage — mind you, T.I. up there with hella n****s — and he go, ‘Yeah, I heard Lil Flip in the building. Tell that punk-ass n***a to come up to the stage. I run back to the truck, and I’m like, ‘Man, he up there talking hella shit, bro. What you wanna do?’ I’m like, ‘Fuck that, we need to perform.’ Bun like, ‘Hell nah.’ So Bun made the decision to get up outta there. […] Daddy was being real with y’all. He was like, ‘Which one of these n****s is really gonna be ready to go to war with you?’”

Flip and T.I. infamously had beef for years throughout the 2000s. It wasn’t until 2013 that they finally laid it to rest with the help of J. Prince. Check out Cellski’s recollection of a tense moment during the feud below.

Cellski Reflects On T.I.-Lil Flip Feud

Back in 2021, Lil Flip entertained the idea of participating in a Verzuz matchup with T.I., although he admitted he’d need a “real nice bag.” “A lot of people ask that,” he said at the time, regarding the idea. “I don’t know. It’s possible, but if Verzuz want me to do something, man, Imma need a real, real big bag, ’cause somebody makin’ some money off of that. Somebody gettin’ some money. You know what I mean? But uh, yeah, it’s possible. It’s gon’ take a real nice bag.”

Cam’ron Likens Chad Ochocino To R. Kelly In Scathing Rant

Cam’ron and Ma$e have rekindled their friendship as of late. Overall, this has led to some incredible content in the form of It Is What It Is. This is a sports talk show that completely flips the debate format on its head. Although they may not be professional journalists, their commentary is still hilarious and yes, it is also insightful. They bring an irreverent approach to the sports talk world which is something that has truly been missing. Cam doesn’t care who he offends, and it leads to some amazing moments.

Recently, Cam’ron went on a bit of a rant about how It Is What It Is is the future of sports television. Subsequently, a whole bunch of podcasters and hosts were in their feelings. Among them was Chad Ochocinco, who took to Twitter and wrote, “Cam you my man but once i finish fasting & get back in front of the camera I’m gone dominate that space [fencer emoji].” Although Ochocinco was quite nice in his respond, Cam opted to take a sinister approach in his response. In the video down below, Cam brings up Ochocinco’s previous assault allegations, all while accusing him of being in rehab.

Hailey Bieber Addresses “Dangerous” Selena Gomez Feud Rumors

Hailey Bieber says that the rumors of a feud between herself and Selena Gomez are “dangerous.” She addressed the online drama during an appearance on Bloomberg’s The Circuit with Emily Chang, earlier this week.

“I don’t think that this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez. This is not about this pitting between two women and division between two women,” she said. “It’s about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted and perpetuated narratives. That can be really dangerous.”

She added that negativity is an “opportunity to really stand for bringing people together.” “I’m not OK with the kind of division that it caused. I don’t like this whole idea of ‘team this person’ and ‘team that person’ — I’m just not about that,” she continued.

Hailey is currently married to Justin Bieber, who previously dated Gomez. The two were together for nearly eight years before they broke up for a final time in March 2018. Just months later, Justin and Hailey got married, sparking rumors that the 26-year-old model “stole” Justin from Gomez.

Hailey Bieber Discusses The Rumors

“I’ve hated it since the beginning. And I think that kind of goes back to a little bit of just being misunderstood,” she further said of the narrative. “I keep having to say, and we keep having to say, that there is no issue and there is no problem. It’s so disappointing that people still behave this way over a man. It’s the world we live in unfortunately.” Both Hailey and Gomez have tried to tell fans to stop spreading the narrative on social media at various points. Gomez even told fans that Hailey had reached out to her to complain about fans making “death threats” towards her.

Anthony Fantano Is A “Colonizer” & “Outsider,” According To Killer Mike

Anthony Fantano is one of the more well-known names in the world of music critics. Still, that definitely doesn’t mean the public always agrees with his opinion. Just last month he made headlines by scoring Gunna’s surprise a Gift & a Curse album a measly 1/10 on his YouTube channel, The Needle Drop. Later on in June, Fantano gave a listen to hip-hop icon Killer Mike’s MICHAEL LP, which received a 79/100 rating on Metacritic.com shortly after its debut.

“If you’re familiar with Killer Mike, you know he’s no stranger to throwing political views out there. On previous records, I feel like that mostly worked in his favour,” the internet personality told viewers tuning in. “But on MICHAEL, I’m kinda scratching my head because I feel like a lot of it isn’t fully lining up,” Fantano added, ultimately scoring it a 6/10. “Are you 12 years old? Are you literally a 12-year-old boy? If you took these lyrics and you showed them to me and told me they were some kinda MAGA rapper from the internet, I would have to believe you,” he asked Mike during one rant.

Anthony Fantano Reviews MICHAEL

The 48-year-old has obviously gotten wind of the slander circulating about his album, and he didn’t hold back when addressing it on Twitter. “People have forgot that Mike is an artist above all and braggadocious rap is part of it. Y’all prefer he rap about drugs?” one Twitter user pondered in response to Fantano’s review.

To this, Mike wrote, “His opinion on life and culture cannot possibly understand.” He went on to say,”[It’s] laughable and shows you the arrogance of the outsider or colonizer. I encourage all to listen and feel something special. #MICHAEL, a truly Black Southern American experience.”

Boosie Badazz & Redman Discuss Pusha T & Jim Jones’ Feud

Boosie Badazz, Redman, and Erick Sermon all weighed in on the ongoing feud between Pusha T and Jim Jones on the red carpet at the 2023 BET Awards. Speaking with HipHopDX, the two gave their reactions to the recent battle between both rappers.

When Boosie was asked about Jones’ diss track, he replied: “No, I didn’t hear it, but I heard he didn’t like the verse right?… I don’t know [who would win]. That [battle] would be a good one though.” Redman added: “I heard some of Pusha T’s joint, but I ain’t hear Jim yet – but I know when Jim puts his mind to it, he goes in.”

“It wasn’t bad,” Sermon said of Jim’s diss record. “I was shocked though too because again, Jim came up late. As far as the lyrics and him spitting the rhyme, it was dope. [But] Pusha T is a real lyricist, for real.”

The battle between Jim Jones and Pusha T began back in April when Jones argued that Billboard shouldn’t have included Pusha on its “Top 50 Greatest Rappers” list. The comment stuck with Pusha, who responded by dissing Jones in a new Clipse track debuted at Pharrell’s first Louis Vuitton show, last week. Jones eventually dropped a diss track aimed at Pusha in response.

Boosie Discusses Pusha T Vs. Jim Jones

Boosie and Redman aren’t the only ones to weigh in on the Pusha T-Jim Jones battle. Charlamagne recently said that Jones’ diss wasn’t enough to beat Pusha T. “I don’t think that’s enough,” he said. “I think if you shoot at Pusha, you just gotta go ahead and drop the nuke. You can’t just shoot. You just gotta go ahead and drop the nuke now. That’s what Pusha’s gonna do, if Pusha replies. If we’re looking at the way Pusha has replied before, Pusha gonna drop a nuke off top.”

Jim Jones Calls Out Pusha T & No Malice On Joe Budden’s Podcast

Jim Jones further attacked Pusha T and No Malice while calling into the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. Amid their ongoing feud, Jones recently expanded his war of words from just Pusha T, to both members of the Clipse duo. Despite personal attacks from both sides, Jones says everything is “all fun and games” and “a true display of wordery.”

“Who’s gonna spin the block for him? Is Pharrell gonna spin the block for him? Is Malice gonna say a prayer? Who’s gonna spin the block for him?” Capo asked. “I’m talking about musically, too. I ain’t talking about thug shit — we already know I can do that. Who he got that’s gon’ spin the block for him? Malice is a preacher who works at Walmart.”

From there, he addressed Pusha T directly: “That n***a’s a worker. He’s still not a boss. He still has to answer to everybody in his circle.” He further clarified that the conflict is “a rap battle” not “rap beef.” He explained: “This is about pure music and styling, and he don’t got it. You always wanted to be a New York n***a; you from VA, the suburbs.”

The feud between Pusha T and Jim Jones began when the Dipset rapper argued that Pusha shouldn’t have been on Billboard‘s Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list. He explained himself during an interview on the Rap Caviar Podcast in April. “What has he done that puts him in the greatest rappers of all time besides talk about coke that he probably didn’t get himself?” Jones said at the time.

Jim Jones Calls Into “The Joe Budden Podcast”

Pusha eventually responded with a Clipse song that debuted at Pharrell’s first Louis Vuitton show. A few days later, Jones responded with a diss track of his own.

The Weeknd Beefs With Oreo After Their Recent Diss

The Weeknd is one of the biggest artists in the world. With his level of fame, you would probably expect him to stay off of social media. After all, he must have some better things to do. However, it appears as though he is just like the rest of us. Overall, the past few days have been willed with Abel replying to his hatest on Twitter. Ultimately, this seems to be in relation to the backlash towards The Idol. The show has not been received very well, and his acting performance has been decimated.

In fact, just last week, there were reports that the show would not return for a second season. Although, some already felt like this would be the case as the show was marketed as some sort of one-off series. When the news was announced, many took to Twitter to sound off on the alleged decision. Included in this was the Oreo Twitter account, which wrote: “finally some good news.” Clearly, some intern forgot to log out of the brand’s account. Or perhaps they were just trying to go mega-viral. We suspect the latter.

The Weeknd Vs. Oreo

Well, a whole six days later, The Weeknd finally caught onto Oreo’s shade. This compelled him to respond, saying “Oh f*ck they been talkin sh*t.” However, not long after this tweet, 15 minutes later to be exact, Abel issued another tweet. “Naw I can’t beef with you @Oreo too many beautiful memories… I’m dunking you in some champagne tonight,” he wrote. As it turns out, beefing with Oreo was just not the move for The Weeknd. With everything going on, this is a feud he would be best to stay out of.

Hopefully, the two can mend fences. Perhaps we can even have The Weeknd in an Oreo commercial at some point. Or even a new jingle could be on the way. The possibilities here are truly endless. Let us know what you think of this latest development, in the comments section below. Additionally, keep it locked to HNHH for more news from around the music world and beyond.

Kim Kardashian Calls Sister Kourtney “Diva Of All Divas” Amidst Wedding Feud

Kim Kardashian has been busy lately. Between designer collabs, acting gigs, and her reality show, she has her hands full. Recently, Zachary Quinto praised Kim for her acting skills and star power. The American Horror Story alum stated that she has made a significant impact in the upcoming season of the show. Speaking at the premiere of his film He Went That Way during the Tribeca Film Festival, Quinto expressed his admiration for Kim’s work. He also shared his positive impressions of Kim’s performance. The actor commended her talent, stating that she seemed comfortable and impressive in her role. He also praised her spirit and openness, expressing his excitement to see her work in the final product. Finally, the actor even admitted that he doesn’t think she needs his advice.

Kim Kardashian’s involvement in the twelfth season of American Horror Story, titled “Delicate,” was announced in April. It was revealed alongside the return of Emma Roberts to the series. The specifics of their roles have not been disclosed. Kim’s commitment to the acting profession was evident when she was spotted carrying a script for the show during a meeting in Beverly Hills last month. Zachary Quinto’s comments imply that Kim is dedicated to improving her acting skills and pursuing her craft. That’s not all the reality star has her hands full with, though. More recently, it seems that she has been feuding with her sister.

In this week’s episode of The Kardashians, Kim, Khloé Kardashian, and Kris Jenner were in Milan for the launch of Kim’s collection with the fashion duo. However, Khloé revealed that Kourtney was angry at Kim for partnering with Dolce & Gabbana shortly after her own wedding. That event was also sponsored by the brand. Khloé described Kourtney’s reaction as irrational and attributed it to a sense of loyalty. Kim expressed surprise at her sister’s anger and mentioned that she had been considerate by avoiding certain collections to respect Kourtney. Kim acknowledged that everyone has their own version of events. Of course, they will all be shown on the show. Kim also noted that the timing of the drama was unfortunate. During the celebration, the reality star raised a toast to Dolce & Gabbana. In the speech, she jokingly referred to Kourtney as the “diva of all divas.”

Kourtney, on the other hand, expressed her frustration to Kendall Jenner. In their conversation, she accused Kim of copying her wedding. She also emphasized that her wedding was a personal and non-business event. Kourtney claimed that Kim had concealed her partnership with the brand and had secret conversations with them. Apparently, the conversations were even happening during Kourtney’s wedding. In a recent interview, Kim admitted that their feud was challenging and emotional. Apparently, they saw what each other said behind their backs during the editing process. However, the mogul emphasized that they still love sharing their lives together.

Gunplay Calls Out Fans Who Refunded GoFundMe Donations Over Rick Ross Gift

Gunplay has called out fans who refunded their donations to his GoFundMe page, after believing that the money was used to buy Rick Ross a necklace. Gunplay’s partner launched the fundraiser to get help paying off their daughter’s medical bills after she had an emergency heart surgery in February. All-in-all, the couple raised just over $30,000. However, the fundraiser was brought up during DJ Envy’s recent feud with Rick Ross.

In a video that has surfaced on social media, Gunplay gifts Ross a new chain. Afterward, some fans apparently refunded their donations to the family’s GoFundMe. “Every single one of you pussy-ass hoes and fuck n****s that went to the GoFundMe and donated and went and got a motherfucking refund, you never gave it with your heart,” Gunplay said in a new interview with We In Miami. “You’re a piece of shit. You’ll die that way.”

He continued: “People that see me give my brother a gift, they automatically want to say that I bought that with GoFundMe money. N***a had to pay that back. So now, if you really want to be for real, my n***a, if a n***a spent that on a chain, how the fuck they got it right back instantly with no pressure?”

The argument wasn’t enough to win over many fans. When We In Miami shared the clip on Instagram, one commented: “How are you buying diamond chains for your homies but asking for donations for your kid? Yes I would have questions too.” Another remarked: “The fact he can’t see the problem is wild.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Gunplay continued to criticize DJ Envy. He even challenged The Breakfast Club host to a boxing match. “He didn’t realize, you know, that I’ll slap the shit outta him,” he said. “Yo, Envy, wassup? Put on the gloves. Let’s get it!” Check out Gunplay’s comments on the We In Miami podcast here.
