Takeoff’s Mother And Father Are Fighting Over His Estate After He Died Without A Will

Screen Shot 2022 12 06 at 3.30.24 PM

The tragic killing of Migos’ Takeoff in a Houston bowling alley was a shock to his fans as well as his family. Now, Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnick Khari Tiquon Ball, is said to have a net worth of $26 million with no heirs.

Takeoff’s mother and father, Titania Davenport-Treet and Kenneth M Ball, are fighting over who will control his estate because without a will to distribute his assets, Georgia law says that his closest relatives now have exclusivity rights over his money and assets, including his valuable catalog and residual income from record sales. This has created a larger wedge between his estranged parents, who reportedly already do not get along.

It is reported that Takeoff was raised in a single parent home by his mother with little assistance from Mr. Ball. Both sides are contesting Mr. Ball’s involvement in his oldest child’s life.

Shortly after Takeoff was murdered, his father posted on FB, “Kirsnick Khari Tiquon Ball my first love out of my five kids this is so so hard please keep Titania Davenport (Treet) and me (Kenneth M Ball) and the entire family on both sides in your prayers doing our difficult time. No one know the pain I’m feeling right now BUT with GOD I will find peace.”

Several reports have confirmed that Nike has severed all business partnerships with NBA star Kyrie Irving, just one month following his Nike contract’s “suspension,” which stemmed from a perceived anti-Semitic video reposted by the Nets star on social media.

With Irving offering no apology for posting the video, his suspended contract with Nike was paired with a suspension from the Brooklyn Nets. Nike also decided to shelf the release of its signature shoe, the Kyrie 8.

The sides have parted ways one month after Nike suspended its relationship with the Nets star. Sports reporter Shams Charania tweeted, “Kyrie Irving is no longer a Nike athlete, Nike spokesperson says. Irving has one of the most popular signature shoes in the NBA and is now a sneaker free agent.”

[WATCH] New Court Documents Detail PnB Rock’s Final Moments

New court documents detail rapper PnB Rock’s final moments before he died in a California Roscoe’s Chicken And Waffle restaurant.

Charging paperwork shows the rapper and his girlfriend arrived at the restaurant before his killers got there. The documents contradict an earlier report that the suspects were waiting in a vehicle outside the restaurant when the rapper arrived in his Bentley.

In the criminal complaint filed Thursday, Sept. 29, prosecutors say a “man in a red shirt” was outside the restaurant when he saw PnB Rock walk inside. The unidentified man noticed that PnB Rock was wearing expensive jewelry.

Prosecutors said the man lurked outside Roscoe’s until Freddie Lee Trone arrived driving a black Buick Enclave. Trone parked, walked up to the man in red, and spoke with him near the entrance to Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles. He then returned to his car and drove off while PnB Rock was still inside the restaurant.

Meanwhile, Trone’s 17-year-old son “armed himself with a handgun” and put on a mask, prosecutors say.

Police documents say that Freddie Lee Trone dropped the teen off near the strip mall where Roscoe’s is located. The teenager approached Roscoe’s, passed the man in red, and went inside. As he entered the restaurant, the man in red left the area.

The teen then approached the table where PnB Rock was eating with his girlfriend, Stephanie, and pointed the gun at him. According to prosecutors, the teen said, “Give me all of your jewelry, now!” He then shot PnB Rock in the chest while the rapper remained seated at the table. As PnB Rock fell to the floor, the teen allegedly shot him twice more in the back, prosecutors said.

He then turned to Stephanie and yelled, “Show me your hands! Give me that shit right now! I swear to God! I shoot you in the head!” He snatched her watch and then grabbed PnB Rock’s jewelry.

Freddie Lee Trone drove into the parking lot outside Roscoe’s as his son rushed outside and hopped into the car. They fled the restaurant, and parked the car several blocks from their residence, prosecutors alleged.

They later burned the car to get rid of evidence.

Police say father and son are members of the 87 Gangster Crips. Source’s say that Rock may have been robbed and killed because he did not “check in” with gang members who control the territory around the restaurant.

May the senseless killings stop.

Rest in power PnB Rock.

Today in Hip-Hop History: Public Enemy Released ‘Apocalypse ’91…The Enemy Strikes Back’ LP 31 Years Ago

On this date in 1991, legendary Hip Hop collective Public Enemy dropped their fourth full-length album entitled Apocalypse ’91…The Enemy Strikes Back on the Def Jam/Columbia imprint.

Drawn from the fictional movies Apocalypse Now and Star Wars sequel The Empire Strikes Back, the Bomb Squad produced project was a rush job according to Hank Shocklee, having to re-create the production after the discs from the past five years with album contents were stolen. “Once you lose all your data, it’s very difficult to get that data back…you may get some of it back, but you’ll never get the complete set. You won’t even know what the complete set is, because there’s data in there you didn’t really know you had,” Shocklee said of the missing project.

The certified platinum album offered up a couple of timeless singles including “Shut Em Down”, “Can’t Truss It” and “By The Time I Get To Arizona”, where in the video the depicted killing of Arizona Governor Evan Mecham was seen in response for not recognizing MLK Jr. Day as a national holiday.

Salute to the entire P.E. for this timeless 14 track piece of Hip Hop history!
