50 Cent Shares His Thoughts On Eminem’s Album “The Death Of Slim Shady”

So far, Eminem’s new album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), is shaping up to another successful release. The hard numbers and projections prove that, as the project is already over 100 million streams on Spotify in just two days and it looks to move over 300,000 copies in its first week. In relation to the latter, if that turns out to be true, it will be the biggest debut for any rap tape this year. Fan reactions for the most part have been pretty favorable too, with many labeling it the best Eminem album in the last decade or so.

Listeners are also just appreciating the fact that he is continuing to make music at this stage in his career. “The album is really 🔥 but these kids don’t appreciate how lucky we all are that he’s still making music”, one IG user writes. Another even goes as far as to predict that Shady’s lyrics will be analyzed in school. “One day people will be studying Em in schools like they do Shakespeare.” These replies can be found underneath 50 Cent’s post in which he shares his feelings on Eminem’s new album.

Obviously, these two are extremely tight and have been working together since the early 2000s. So, his review is going to biased but, at least it is not far off from the general consensus. “Yo @eminem s*** is crazy it takes me a while to understand the details of this one. 🔥 @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi”. While it would have been cool for this dynamic duo to have collaborated on this project in some shape or form, it is great to see that they continue to support each other. We supposedly have a deluxe version on the way, so fingers crossed until then.

Young Thug’s Trial Already Assigned A New Judge Moments After Glanville’s Removal

Just hours ago, Judge Ural Glanville was resigned of duties in what has been a rollercoaster of a YSL RICO trial. However, a new judge is already being appointed to the ongoing case surrounding Young Thug. According to an Instagram post from DJ Akademiks, overseeing everything will be Judge Shukura L. Ingram. Glanville was recused by Thugger’s lawyer, Brian Steele, and it seems that Rachel Krause, the Fulton County Superior Court judge, feels that a change was needed, too. Krause felt that it was necessary to preserve “the public’s confidence in the judicial system”. Overall, we do not know how much longer it will take before the trial kicks back into gear.

But this has the potential to be a step in the right direction for what has been labeled as a “dumpster fire” of a trial. The decision to remove Ural Glanville from this case was not totally because of the ex-parte meeting with Lil Woody. Rather, it was in relation to “his prior judgments to deny previously filed motions to recuse, in which he offered his own opinions as justifications, leaving his judgments open to critique”. That information comes from Uproxx.

Since the new judge has been announced, fans are not totally stoked about the selection of Shukura Ingram. Overall, with how things have gone so far, it is not too surprising that some are not holding their breath just yet. “Anybody dat ever been to court knows the last thing you want is a black female judge 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ just ask Meek!!”, one user claims. “She looks like she gon “I aint one of your lil friends” this trial”, another adds. At the end of the day, we will just have to wait and see what happens.

What are your thoughts on a new judge already taking over Ural Glanville’s spot in the Young Thug trial? Do you think this swap will lead to a speedier process, why or why not? Remy Ma Catches Heat For Her Bars About Her Shooting Case In New Fat Joe Collab

Remy Ma’s new verse on the Fat Joe and Cool & Dre collab “Outta Control” has a lot of fans on social media raising their eyebrows. Moreover, their concern stems from her opening bars that reference her 2008 convictions of assault, possession of an illegal weapon, and attempted coercion for shooting her colleague Makeda Barnes-Joseph in 2007. “They say I shot my friend over a band, and? / Imagine what I’ll do to a b***h I can’t stand,” Eazy The Block Captain’s alleged flame spits on the cut. “Why would Remy Ma start the song off like that?” one fan shared online, with another adding: “Sis that’s not the flex you think it is wtf. It’s giving broke.”

Furthermore, sadly Remy Ma is dealing with a lot of alleged criminal developments in her family, as her son Jayson Scott caught murder charges recently. “Three people that when I catch them, I don’t give a f**k who they call,” she expressed recently, blasting three mystery individuals whose connections to her son’s murder case are unknown and completely speculative at press time. “Smacking they f***ing cheek off and that’s just that on that. And they know it too.”

We stand by JaySon’s innocence and pray that the NYPD will conduct a complete and thorough investigation to reveal the truth,” Remy Ma stated to TMZ. “This is undoubtedly a difficult time for my family and me. While we sincerely appreciate the love and support we have received from all of you, we kindly ask for privacy as our legal team works to prove Jayson’s innocence. As his mother, I want to address this situation personally but have been strongly advised by his legal counsel not to say anything -– as most people in similar situations are informed by their attorneys due to it being an active case.”

Meanwhile, we can only guess as to Fat Joe’s reaction to these new Remy Ma bars, and as Terror Squad partners, we doubt they’re at all out of sync. She still has to deal with some fallout from the whole Eazy The Block Captain, as Cassidy recently released a diss track against him that referenced some of this scandal. It’s clear that there’s a lot of bad blood to air out there. Hopefully they can continue to solve it through rap battles and nothing more.

Eminem Prompts All Sorts Of Fan Reactions To New Album “The Death Of Slim Shady”

Eminem’s new album The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) is finally here, and it’s every bit as divisive and vibrant as we all came to expect. Not only does he keep up with a lot of his creative flows and lyrical flips, but he also plays with some different production styles and fully dives into a more conceptual project. Some fans are very impressed with how the more emotional moments on the album played out, whereas others aren’t as big of a fan. Either way, the Detroit MC definitely gave fans a lot to digest and discuss with this new project, and it’s his most artistically compelling work in a while.

However, Eminem’s definitely not here for your criticism, as the opening track “Renaissance” reveals. “Now let’s travel inside the mind of a hater / ‘Cause I don’t see no fans, all I see’s a bunch of complainers/ ‘Kendrick’s album was cool, but it didn’t have any bangers’ / ‘Wayne’s album or Ye’s, couldn’t tell you which one was lamer’ / ‘Joyner’s album was corny, Shady’s new s**t is way worse’ / Everything is either too tame or there’s too much anger / I didn’t like the beat, so I hated ‘Might Delete Later’ / You nerdy pricks would find something wrong with ’36 Chambers,’” he raps on the cut.

Elsewhere, on tracks like “Fuel” with JID, Eminem takes aim at Diddy and other foes. “I’m like a R-A-P-E-R / Got so many essays, S-As / Wait, he didn’t just spell the word ‘rapper’ and leave out a P, did he? / R.I.P., rest in peace Biggie / And ‘Pac, both of y’all should be living / But I ain’t tryna beef with him / ‘Cause he might put a hit on me like Keefe D did him,” he spits. Check out some reactions to The Death Of Slim Shady down below.

Stans React To The Death Of Slim Shady

Meanwhile, other tracks on the album include attacks against Kanye West and Ja Rule, tributes to Hailey, reflections on his provocative obsessions, and a whole lot more. Eminem definitely expanded his point of view with The Death Of Slim Shady. There’s something a bit different about his very overt but very satirical controversy here, even if it isn’t by much. Even if you don’t love it, you’d be a fool not to engage in its discussion.

DDG Claps Back After Halo’s Lineup Causes A Stir On Social Media

DDG, his partner Halle Bailey, and their six-month-old son Halo, are continuing to face the wrath of the internet after the rapper showed of his child’s lineup. This wave of hate and backlash comes just a few days after the couple revealed their baby boy’s face for the first time. Them taking this long to do so is nothing new for these multi-talented lovers, as Halle Bailey’s pregnancy was kept hush hush as possible. When they did decide they were comfortable enough to share Halo to the world through wholesome family photos, some people just could not contain themselves. It led DDG to go off online, saying, “It just makes me mad. “But then I have to realize that my son is richer than them and he has a more successful life”.

Now, the Pontiac, Michigan father of one is having to respond to more trolls and haters alike for the aforementioned haircut. According to The Shade Room, DDG shared a video of Halo getting his first-ever lineup at just six months old. He did begin to cry once the barber began to go to work with the trimmers. But papa bear was able to calm him down with a bottle and he wound up being just fine. A lot of social media users were critiquing this decision mostly because of how bad this could be for Halo’s hair in the future.

DDG Is Being A Father To Halo & That’s That

Additionally, there were others who were just roasting the fact that DDG decided to go through with this. However, DDG was not having any of it, going ballistic once again. “People got something got to say because I got my son a line up at six months. Listen y’all, y’all worry ’bout your own kids. He came out of my balls. Not yours. Worry about your own baby. Worry about your daddy. Why your daddy couldn’t afford you a haircut? Let me be a happy dad”, DDG said. The multi-media figure even suggested that Black people are doing the majority of the talking, when instead they should be happy for him. “Why y’all always gotta say negative things about your own race? Instead, you should’ve just said the lining is crispy, cause it is, I know”.

What are your thoughts on DDG getting his six-month-old son Halo a lineup? Do you think the criticism from the internet is valid, why or why not? Are you okay with his response to the backlash? Nicki Minaj Upsets Her Dublin Barbz With Extreme Tardiness & A Shortened Set

Nicki Minaj is still one of the biggest artists in the world, but her Dublin fans are not letting her slide because of that. According to TMZ Hip Hop, there are currently hundreds of upset Barbz on X (formely Twitter) right now after a majorly disappointing set in Ireland. Nicki’s performance was originally set to begin around 8 p.m., but time kept ticking, while the fans were growing more and more impatient. Apparently, the rainfall was substantial, and the temperature was in the mid to low 50s. Obviously, when you mix those two things together, you are going to have a lot of unhappy campers.

Since the Pink Friday 2 World Tour showing last night, almost all of Nicki’s Dublin fans have been demanding refunds and dubbing her lack of professionalism “disgraceful”. Additionally, it seems she only performed for less than one hour. One concert goer’s frustration was so high that she decided to find Nicki’s jet departure and arrival time. “Done some digging, I was at the concert too! Her jet departed Vienna at 18:55 (Irish time) and landed in Dublin at 21:36 (Irish time) by the looks of things she was late purely out of her own choice! Doesn’t give a f*** about her fans!”.

Nicki Minaj Put On A “Disgraceful” Show According To Her Dublin Fans

There were a couple of people who will still just happy to see Minaj perform for the “45 minutes” she was onstage. However, it is safe to say that her Dublin audience might dwindle a bit after last night. So far, Nicki Minaj has not said anything about her tardiness and shortened set. All that is on her social media right now are some clips of her performing and a few of the more easy-going supporters having a blast.

What are your thoughts on Nicki Minaj getting torn to pieces by her Dublin fans after her disappointing show? What do you think went wrong that she was so late? Common Freestyles Over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” & Fans Are Split On It

Without a shadow of a doubt, Common is one of the most technically-sound writers we have in hip-hop history. His wordplay, flows, and tremendous storytelling are all of the skills that separate him from most of the competition. It is part of the reason why fans of the genre as so thrilled to be receiving his new album with producer Pete Rock, The Auditorium Vol. 1, on July 12. The 15-track collaborative effort has four incredible singles out from it right now and it is looking like it will be a top-tier LP for 2024. In the meantime, though, Common is creating more buzz for their album by providing a freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”.

The future rap song of the year has the everyone around the genre in a chokehold right now. It is everywhere and thanks to its viral music video, it is looking like it will be around well after these next five months. With Common bringing his philosophical bars to the West Coast anthem, what could possibly go wrong? Well, it turns out a lot did, unfortunately. Fans did praise the Chicago veteran’s overall performance, but there were also a few skeptics out there.

Fans Claim This Common “Freestyle” Might Be An Unreleased Snippet

Most of the complaints centered around the fact that the words felt recited and ones that might belong to another song. Others were even claiming that Common rapped some of these bars at the Roots Picnic from last month. He did in fact hit the stage in Philadelphia and the joints he did play were made with Pete Rock, according to Billboard. Additionally, Com’s flows are pretty off compared to the tempo of the instrumental on “Not Like Us” and the hype man in the back seemed to know all of the adlibs. Maybe this was Common’s intent, especially with the album coming in just four days.

What are your thoughts on this “Not Like Us” freestyle by Common? Do you agree with the fans that this might be an unreleased song snippet? Even though it is not a conventional off-the-dome rap session, was it a great set of verses? Are you excited for him and Pete Rock’s upcoming project, The Auditorium Vol. 1? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Common and Kendrick Lamar. Drake Loses A Fan After Getting His Tattoo Covered With A Kendrick Lamar Portrait: Watch

Perhaps the wildest thing about this entire Drake versus Kendrick Lamar beef is just how lopsided it turned out to be. In the early stages of this bloodbath, there were quite a large number of Drizzy fans claiming he had the edge. That was especially the case after his response on “Push Ups” following Lamar’s verse on “Like That”. However, with each missile raining down on the Canadian’s head, it became more and more clear to a lot of people who was ultimately the winner. Unsurprisingly, there are still a few die-hards out there that are crowing The Boy the champion and the Dot is “milking” “Not Like Us”.

But let’s keep it real. The number of people that anticipated the release of its music video was so large. There were assuredly even Drake supporters eager to see what Lamar would do with it. It turned out to be a smashing success, as there are so many layers and callbacks to previous Drake claims. The video is already doing massive numbers, with it currently having 26.1 million views. Perhaps due how much love it is getting, this fan is now coming switching on his Boy by covering up an old tattoo with a Lamar portrait.

In the clip above, the man admittedly had a rough-looking “In My Feelings”-related tattoo on his leg, so maybe it was for the best. He decided to go with the image of Kendrick wearing the diamond crown of thorns, along with the words, “BBL Drizzy”. The final product was definitely an improvement, but fans online have been roasting the former Drake fan over an open flame. Many are calling him a glazer, a d**k rider, and shaming him for getting another man’s face permanently placed on his body. Hopefully, the K-Dot bandwagoner has a valid reason for getting this done (losing a bet?). But that might not even be enough to save him from the backlash. Overall, though, this is still another W for Lamar.

What are your thoughts on this former Drake fan getting a Kendrick Lamar tattoo to cover up the Canadian star’s? Is this the definition of taking fandom too far, why or why not? Adam22 Under Fire From Pop Smoke Fans After Interviewing The Rapper’s Alleged Killer

Family and friends of Pop Smoke are unfortunately still dealing with his loss in some way even four years later. A couple of weeks ago, numerous reports broke the defeating news that one of the late rapper’s killers was released. Blockstar is his name and he put in four years in juvie for pleading guilty to murder. Coincidentally his sentence ended the day of his 21st birthday. It is a gift from above, as everyone is extremely confused as to why he is free. Now, people are at a loss for words again after Adam22 interviewed Pop Smoke’s alleged killer on his No Jumper platform.

A clip from their sit-down is currently trending online, with the controversial figure asking about details of the murder. Blockstar was pretty vague for obvious reasons, but he did confirm that it was a robbery. Additionally, he explained that it was not a setup and that publications are misinterpreting the situation. Adam22 did check Blockstar’s claims by bringing up the fact that there were images of a bag with Pop Smoke’s address posted online. However, Blockstar was either not able to provide information on that or he wanted to avoid exposing anyone else.

Adam22 Asks Pop Smoke’s Suspected Murderer About The Setup

Overall, Pop Smoke’s supporters and haters of Adam22 are extremely distraught over this. One user on X writes, “Adam 22 is certified clown why the hell would you give Pop Smoke’s k*ller a platform to speak on some shit like he got an album dropping”. Another adds, “Adam 22 is a distasteful bitch who only thrives off the African American community”. This clip comes after Blockstar demanded that the controversial interviewer pay him for giving him a platform to speak on this. “You got all these people following me. All these people doing all this extra s***”, he said. Adam and No Jumper seem to be just fine with the publicity, but everyone is deservedly outraged.

What are your thoughts on Adam22 interviewing Pop Smoke’s alleged killer on No Jumper? How bad of a look is this for the media figure? Kendrick Lamar & Drake Fans React To Dave Free Co-Directing “Not Like Us” Music Video

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” music video is taking the world by storm right now, and there are a lot of details for fans to gush and complain about. Moreover, one of the key aspects of the video relating to Drake’s disses against K.Dot is the co-direction from Dave Free. You probably remember all of the allegations that Drizzy made about Free, Kendrick’s creative collaborator, and the Compton lyricist’s partner Whitney Alford, their kids, the abuse allegations, all of that. Well, a lot of fans think that this narrative is all but moot now, as Free’s been happy to support his friend throughout all this and even appeared in the visuals.

In addition, Whitney herself popped out during the “Not Like Us” music video alongside her two kids with Kendrick Lamar. This has all led to a lot of Drake-bashing online, and whether warranted or not, it’s combating the claims that he had in cuts like “Family Matters” and “The Heart Part 6.” Of course, this is all just optics, and we have no way to really verify whether either battling MC’s claims against the other is true at all. But there’s an Internet and culture game to play here, and fans are using these visuals’ ammo to decide on a winner.

Fans Are Loving Kendrick Lamar & Dave Free’s Direction For Drake Diss Video

However, even with all the hype behind Kendrick Lamar’s music video, we can’t imagine that “Not Like Us” made Drake break much of a sweat. After all, he was partying with Michael Rubin and a whole slew of celebrities at his White Party on Fourth of July, the day that the visuals dropped. As such, we predict that the 6ix God will probably make some cheeky post trolling Kendrick or downplaying the new release. Still, it’s got to sting to see folks revel in your downfall, as you can see some folks doing in the reactions down below.

More Fans React To Dave Free’s Co-Directing Credit On “Not Like Us”

Meanwhile, this new “Not Like Us” music video also built up even more hype for more new Kendrick Lamar music on the way. The teased West Coast banger at the start of it has fans foaming at the mouth, so we’ll see whether it actually manifests into something. Perhaps this will be the final chapter in this installment of the greatest rap beef since Jay-Z and Nas. It’s changing the context of previous disses, dismantling narratives, and suggesting what could be next in the future.
