Remy Ma Almost Fell For A Nicki Minaj Reference On “Family Feud”

Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj’s beef is well-documented at this point, and while things died down a while ago, it’s still hard to ignore. Moreover, the former recently participated on Family Feud, and a particular fill-in-the-blank question led to a pretty interesting reaction. The prompt was “[Blank] Friday,” which led many eagle-eyed fans to spot the Bronx femcee’s small laugh when she heard the prompt. A lot of fans figured that she thought of Minaj’s album Pink Friday first, but she instead gave “Black Friday” as an answer. While we’ll probably never know whether or not Steve Harvey chose to be cheeky with this, fans ran with that narrative regardless.

Furthermore, the last “update” we got concerning Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj were some odd claims from Hazel-E. She claimed that Remy, the Migos, Suge Knight, and many others actually received payment to sabotage Nicki’s career. Of course, rumors like these are pretty frequent and common when it comes to the discussion around these two female rappers and many others. Even though we’ll probably never see evidence of this, some fanbases will still use it as a talking point either way.

Remy Ma Dodges A Nicki Minaj Reference On Family Feud

However, despite Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj’s long and contentious history, some fans still think that they can bury the hatchet. In fact, the latter seemed to hint at a reconciliation while promoting Pink Friday 2, but that never manifested for that album’s rollout. Still, with so much beef going around in 2024, it seems as good a time as ever to either re-engage or reconsider. After all, this combative year could also result in more amicable moments of coming together rather than continued battle.

Meanwhile, Remy Ma doesn’t really want to talk about any of this beef, for the most part. For example, she avoided a question about Nicki Minaj and Latto beefing at the 2023 Grammys. Maybe Remy would rather speak on her own experiences with femcees rather than other ones. Regardless of whether or not these two eventually make up and set their issues aside, it’s impossible to not think of their spat whenever their names come up together.

Jay-Z, Biggie, Nas & More Don’t Make The Top 5 In “Family Feud” Best Rappers Survey

Tori Kelly and Meghan Trainor’s teams recently went head to head on Family Feud, and the results of one survey have sparked a major debate. At one point in the show, Steve Harvey asked “Who is the greatest rapper of all time?” and the responses were not what one would expect. First, someone from Trainor’s team confidently said J. Cole, who didn’t make the list. Other answers included Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne, who were also not listed.

Finally, a member from Kelly’s team said 2Pac, who came in at number two. Kelly’s father then said The Notorious B.I.G., who came in sixth. Someone else later suggested Jay-Z, who came in last. Nas, Drake, and Ice Cube were among the players’ guesses, though none of them made the cut.

Family Feud Survey Leaves Viewers Shocked

In order from first to last, the final list included Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, Eminem, Dr. Dre, LL Cool J, Biggie, 50 Cent, and Jay-Z. “We in Rhode Island again, where we at?” Harvey joked, prompting a response from Kelly. “You’re thinking as a Hip-Hop head. I don’t think that’s who answered these questions,” she said. Harvey went on to apologize to the hip-hop community for the list, seeming shocked that Jay-Z came in last place. “I just wanna apologize to the entire Hip Hop community,” he quipped. “Jay-Z’s last, what in the world?”

This isn’t the first time an episode of Family Feud has sparked a debate, however. Megan Thee Stallion appeared on the show earlier this month, where she was asked to “Name something you’ve done to your mate’s feet.” Considering Meg was shot in the foot by Tory Lanez, many thought the question was a bit too close for comfort, and criticized the show for asking it. If you ever want to spark a debate, post a ranked list about anything. But especially if that opinion piece as anything to do with rapper stars, just ask Eminem, Fat Joe, or Usher.

The producers of Celebrity Family Feud learned this the hard way. During a recent episode of the beloved game show, starring Tori Kelly, Meghan Trainor, and Daryl Sabara, the families and even host Steve Harvey were rattled by the survey results. When asked who was the greatest rapper of all time, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Lil Wayne all struck out as confirmed answers.

Eventually, a contestant scored with a guess of the late Tupac. But, subsequent responses of Nas and Drake earned players strikes. When the full list was revealed, which included Snoop Dogg (at No. 1), Tupac, Eminem, Dr. Dre, LL Cool J, The Notorious B.I.G., 50 Cent, and Jay-Z.

Users across X (formerly Twitter) voiced their issues with the results.

“We literally asked 100 Vermont residents to answer this,” wrote one user.

“We know who was polled for this question by the answers 🥴,” penned another.

“That’s hip-hop. But, they didn’t ask hip-hop people,” remarked one user.

“Snoop Dogg number 1 and Jay-Z last? Who answered this question? Some bums in the street,” chimed another.

“Family Feud needs to be investigated,” joked another.

Steve Harvey Raised Some Eyebrows By Asking Megan Thee Stallion About Feet On ‘Celebrity Family Feud’

Megan Thee Stallion popped up on Celebrity Family Feud last night (July 9), but one of the questions rubbed some people the wrong way.

On the show, host Steve Harvey instructed, “Name something you’ve done to your mate’s feet.” Megan buzzed in and answered, “Massage,” and “rubbed ’em” was the No. 1 answer.

Of course, for many Meg fans, this had them thinking about her famously getting shot in the foot by Tory Lanez. While the question was more than likely innocent and the product of the show’s staff not making that same connection, it still drew some criticism online.

In the comments section of The Neighborhood Talk’s Instagram post about it, one user wrote, “Now they know they should’ve omitted that feet question.” Another said, “That feet question could’ve been very triggering but big ups to Meg for letting it fly.” Somebody else wrote, “i’m glad i’m not the only that thought this question was messy when i watched the episode tonight.”

Over on X (formerly Twitter), a user wrote, “Naaa Steve Harvey put that question in for freaky reason.” That seems to be the most likely story here: Family Feud frequently asks questions in hopes of eliciting provocative responses from contestants, and that’s probably what they were going for here, even if they could have been more careful in this particular instance.

It isn’t clear when ‘Team Megan’ will battle against the board, but the episode is billed as a 2-hour premiere event sprinkled with throwback footage and new clips.

Megan Thee Stallion has been everywhere so far in 2024. She made waves back in January with the release of her explosive single “HISS.” The track took aim at all of her haters and doubters with numerous specific references to notable foes. Fans online mostly honed in on one particularly cutting diss aimed at Nicki Minaj. Fans are hoping that that and the song “Cobra” she dropped last year are building towards a new album at some point in 2024.

Megan Thee Stallion Excited For “Family Feud” Episode To Air

Earlier this week, Megan got some attention for her stunning look during a basketball game. She sat courtside for a recent game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers. The late-season contest has some major implications for the NBA playoffs but plenty of eyes were focused on the “Savage” singer.

One particular moment stood out during the game though. Lakers star D’Angelo Russel ended up tumbling into the crowd and had to avoid a photographer sitting on the ground. But in doing so he crashed right into where Megan was sitting courtside. While she seemed a bit rattled by the interaction she shook it off quickly. Megan Thee Stallion Teases Her Upcoming Appearance On ‘Family Feud’ As One Of The ‘Top 5’ Episodes Ever

Megan Thee Stallion has already given herself the “Best Ass On Instagram” title but she isn’t done claiming superlatives. In a post on Twitter (not X), Thee Stallion teased her family’s upcoming appearance on Family Feud with another grand declaration, saying, “This might be in the top 5 of best family feud episodes. I CANT WAIT FOR YALL TO SEE THIS.”

Megan isn’t the first rapper to bring her family on the long-running game show. In 2022, rap pioneers Salt-N-Pepa teamed up with Kid-N-Play to take on the cast of The Proud Family. Meanwhile, in 2020, Atlanta rap royalty 2 Chainz and Big Boi of Outkast faced off, yielding a number of hilarious clips.

Family Feud isn’t the only family-related competition Megan has found herself in this month, either. She put that “Best Ass On Instagram” title on the line with an open twerking challenge, inviting her fellow rappers and hot girls to shake what their mamas gave them (heh) to see who’s got the best booty video set to her and GloRilla’s new song “Wanna Be.” Latto with a video of her own, writing, “U called for BIG MAMA ???” as she threw her short shorts in the ring.

Family Feud hasn’t announced when the episode in question will air, but you can bet it’ll probably be one of the most-watched yet.

Blueface’s Mom Threatens To “Slap The Shit” Out Of Him: Watch

For some, Sunday is the Lord’s day. For others, however, it’s a day sure to be full of chaos and drama thanks to a new episode of Blueface and Chrisean Rock’s Crazy In Love.

The last few weeks have seen the famous couple’s antics playing out on their Zeus reality series. We’ve seen the “Thotiana” rapper and his partner’s father exchange blows. Also, the reality starlet’s brother appeared to give the couple advice about their often-aggressive relationship.

Rock and Blueface’s bickering has been the centre of several episodes. However, we’ve still seen his issues with his own family play out. This week, in particular, the 25-year-old comes face-to-face with his mother, Karlissa Saffold.

In one preview that’s been circulating online, the California native and his mom step outside to speak. He tells her that she carries herself with a lot of importance and that he loves her because of their familial relationship. Still, that’s not always enough.

“I feel like I’m more mature than you,” Blue tells Saffold in front of the cameras. “Love you, mother, but you just not my type of woman I guess. Not my type of lady.”

In another trailer, most of the 25-year-old’s family comes together to confront Rock and her man. Specifically, they feud about a physical altercation between the group that previously went viral.

“If you’re 50 with little kids outside, you’re going to get into some little kid shit,” Blueface explains to Saffold as she yells at him. In response, she says, “If you disrespect me, and you’re my son, Jonathan, I’m gonna slap the shit out of you every time! I am your mother!”

The recording artist and Rock look visibly uncomfortable from the other side of the room, though he says “I understand.” At the same time, his mother continues to yell about how they didn’t argue in the past with his sister also joining in.

“Crazy In Love”: Blueface Tells His Mom He’s More Mature Than Her

The weekend is upon us once again, which means it’s time for another episode of Crazy In Love. Whether you love Blueface and Chrisean Rock, or love to hate on them, the couple’s on-screen antics have been bringing undeniable entertainment to audiences all around the nation.

Last week, we heard the two get into a lover’s quarrel. The 25-year-old was insisting upon calling his partner by a derogatory name that upset her. “You call me a bitch all the time, bro,” the reality starlet whines to her man in front of the camera. In the previous episode, he clapped back, “Okay, and you are one. I’ll call you a bitch right now! ‘Cuz that’s what you are.”

In the same show, fans saw an appearance from Wack 100. He was quick to label Chrisean as a “distraction” for Blueface. In the time since, DJ Akademiks has also spoken out in agreeance – particularly after the 22-year-old admitted to hitting the rapper in the head with a glass cup earlier this month.

On this week’s edition of Crazy In Love, it looks like we may get a break from the couple’s incessant bickering. Instead, the latest previews show the “Thotiana” artist preparing his other half to see his family. He even gets brutally honest with his mother in one of the circulating clips.

“I don’t know why you think that you’re special,” Blueface tells Karlissa Saffold in a video posted to @theneighborhoodtalk. Sensing her immediate disappointment, he back tracks, saying, “You very special, don’t get it twisted. You my mom and everything.”

The family matriarch comes back at him with, “You just said you have no remorse, like I’m leaving here with that!” In response, he drops a bomb, telling the woman who raised him that he feels as though he’s “more mature than her.”

“Love you, mother, but you just not my type of woman I guess,” Blueface concludes. “Not my type of lady.”

The same clip then cuts to a conversation between Chrisean and her man’s sister, who were able to remain composed during their chat. When the rest of the family joined in though, things became physical.

Nobody wins when the family feuds, says Jay-Z, but Master P and Romeo Miller recently went at it. The private Miller family suffered a devastating loss when TyTyana Miller passed away. It was reported that she died of a drug overdose, as she was said to have struggled with addiction for some time.

Initially, it seemed as if the Millers were a solid front as they shared their grief publicly. However, Romeo accused his father of being more concerned with putting on for the public than dealing with family issues. The father-son duo traded shots on social media but later revealed they’d mended fences.

Yesterday (January 12), influencers gathered for the Rap Snacks Disrupt 2023 Conference, Feed The Soul: A Conversation On Culture, Community, Family and Creating Wealth. While on the red carpet, Baller Alert caught up with Romeo about the controversy.

“People was saying it’s for publicity and this and that,” he said. “My thing is, this is just about life. And if you’re gonna be a celebrity, if you’re gonna be a public figure, you’re gonna have to have some things bleed out and deal with it and try to use it as an example for others to learn from you.”

“It’s all about communication. That’s all. No family is perfect,” he continued. “But, just like you watch other celebrities’ lives, a woman can go through a miscarriage, you’re watching that. A man and a woman could go through the best time of having a wedding, and they didn’t want anybody there, but if you are in the public eye, if you are a celebrity, the things you wanna show are gonna come out, and the things you don’t wanna show.”

“You gotta be strong enough to know who you are, what you stand for, to deal with the ridicule and misunderstanding that’s gon’ come with it.”

Elsewhere, Romeo admitted he has baby fever. He’s approaching one year as a father, and he’s ready for more.

“I don’t know if I’m gonna be Nick Cannon but I wouldn’t mind 10 babies,” he had I’ve been going through a lot in life, and my daughter, just looking into her eyes and seeing that baby’s smile. When I’m tired, she’s next to me and ‘Da Da.’ Waking up so happy. It’s the purest love.”
