Cardi B Claims Kamala Harris Didn’t Pay Her For Endorsement While Shading Candace Owens

Cardi B was one of many superstars who endorsed Democrat Kamala Harris in her bid for president of the United States. While she wasn’t successful, losing to convicted Republican candidate Donald Trump last week, celebrities still stand by the candidate and defend their stance against those who doubt their earnestness. For example, conservative commentator Candace Owens recently asked the Bronx femcee via Twitter whether or not the Harris campaign paid her to speak at a rally shortly before election day. She had a fiery statement for Owens in response, making it clear that she doesn’t need a big bag in order to talk politics and advocate for the important issues she finds most relevant.

“I didn’t get paid a dollar and that’s on my three!!” Cardi B responded to Candace Owens on the social media platform. “I actually came out of pocket for glam and travel because it’s somewhere I wanted to be.. Like please girl you know damn well I’ll argue you down about politics FOR FREE.” Of course, this isn’t the first clash between these two women in the political space, and we’re sure it won’t be the last.

Cardi B Responds To Candace Owens

Elsewhere, though, Cardi B dealt with plenty of other social media narratives recently, including fans’ incessant demands for her long-awaited sophomore album. It seems like her recent Grammy nomination plus some other career developments inspired her to put her foot on the gas a little more. With new teases, hints, song snippets, and vague announcements, it seems like we’re in the “Maybe it’s happening!” phase of this cyclical rollout. Hopefully someone breaks the wheel and drops the project already, although we’re sure that a few other big things would have to line up to pave the way for it.

Sadly, some of these narratives – whether Cardi B’s strong political stances fueled them or not – hit too close to home for her. Fans (or haters, rather) posted Photoshopped images of her daughter with Offset, who recently joined the family as their third child. The couple isn’t exactly on good terms right now, but they presented a united front against this personal attack. Hopefully politics don’t result in more oversteps like these and social media users know their place.

Pharrell Clarifies He Didn’t Mean To Diss Taylor Swift With Shot At Politcal Endorsements

Pharrell Williams says he never intended to diss Taylor Swift by criticizing celebrity endorsements of politicians prior to the 2024 presidential election. He had made the comments during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that was published after Swift endorsed Kamala Harris. Reflecting on the drama during a new conversation with GQ, Pharrell revealed that he’s a fan of the iconic singer.

“Because that’s what they do. They pit you against each other. I love Taylor. She knows that,” Pharrell began. When asked if he even mentioned Swift, he added: “No. Zero. In fact, I bought a 1989 Taylor T-shirt online last year, and I was walking around here with it tucked into my jeans. I love her. I love people, bro. That was some right-wing troll sh*t. But I heard something the other day that made the most sense in the world: Right-wing, left-wing, all the same bird.”

As for the original comments from Pharrell, he told The Hollywood Reporter: “I don’t do politics. In fact, I get annoyed sometimes when I see celebrities trying to tell you [who to vote for]. There are celebrities that I respect that have an opinion, but not all of them. I’m one of them people [who says], ‘What the heck? Shut up. Nobody asked you.’ When people get out there and get self-righteous and they roll up their sleeves and sh*t, and they are out there walking around with a placard: ‘Shut up!’”

Oprah Winfrey Shuts Down Rumor Kamala Harris Paid Her $1 Million For Endorsement

Oprah Winfrey has shut down the rumors that Kamala Harris offered her $1 million to endorse her in the 2024 presidential election. Taking to Instagram, this week, the longtime supporter of the Democratic party explained her decision to support Harris and how it came about.

“Thank you so much for saying this,” she wrote in response to a fan taking her side. “I want to high five you and give you a hug. Usually I am reluctant to respond to rumors in general, but these days I realize that if you don’t stop a lie, it just gets bigger. I was not paid a dime. My time and energy was my way of supporting the campaign. For the live-streaming event in September, my production company Harpo was asked to bring in set design, lights, cameras, microphones, crew, producers, and every other item necessary (including the benches and chairs we sat on) to put on a live production. I did not take any personal fee. However the people who worked on that production needed to be paid. And were. End of story.”

Azealia Banks Goes Off On Cardi B’s “Eye-Gougingly Cringe” Kamala Harris Endorsement

Azealia Banks went off on Cardi B for her “eye gougingly cringe” endorsement of Kamala Harris in Wisconsin, last week. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), over the weekend, Banks criticized the Invasion of Privacy rapper while also sending some stray shots at Nicki Minaj.

“Cardi HAS to stop doing that stupid latina shtick she does cause it’s forced and not real,” Banks wrote. “Sis is from 158th n Broadway. She’s a Washington heights Mami at the core. Dominican women intelligent as hell, the shtick is a WILD misrepresentation. She’s not even a true throrough bred Bronx rat like she acts like. She moved there at 14. One thing her and Nicki share is secret super intelligence masked by ridiculous chickenhead antics. They are both SUPER smart and well spoken but act r*tarded to seem relatable. They deserve each other’s friendship tbh. Just pull a ladies night 2025 alreadyyyy.”

From there, Banks took more shots at Nicki Minaj as well: “Because they both really act like these dirtbag women they f*cking aren’t. I’d bet $1,000 cardi b’s story about drugging and stealing from men was a lie. Just like nicki’s story about selling Crack was a f*cking lie lmaoo. Nicki went to F. H. LaGuardia. Bad Bunny Endorses Kamala Harris After Trump Rally Speaker Drags Puerto Rico Through The Mud

Bad Bunny seems to have thrown his support behind Kamala Harris in her run for the president of the United States. Sadly, his Instagram repost of a video of Harris comes at an opportune time, as comedian Tony Hinchcliffe joked about the Puerto Rican rapper’s home country being “a floating island of garbage” during Republican presidential candidate (and convict) Donald Trump’s rally in Madison Square Garden in New York over the weekend. The video that Messi’s Adidas collaborator reposted features the Democratic candidate speaking on Puerto Rico, specifically blasting Trump’s response to Hurricane Maria and its devastation to the archipelago back in 2017.

However, it’s important to note that Bad Bunny has a much more important matter on his mind than the United States presidential election, and that’s Puerto Rico’s own electoral process. This one Kamala Harris video doesn’t amount to the many posts and public statements he recently made calling for an end to the bipartisan politics of the archipelago between pro-statehood and pro-status quo factions. P.R. continues to suffer under a colonial state and corrupt administrations that have allowed the United States to treat it horribly for over a century. The “MONACO” reggaetón giant is well-aware of this, and hopes the Puerto Rican people will elect progressive candidates that will clean up government malpractice.

Bad Bunny Endorses Kamala Harris

As such, there’s a small but powerful chance that Bad Bunny posted this video not as an endorsement, but as a subtle acknowledgement that Kamala Harris’ platform will not address these issues either. After all, his consistent zooms into Harris’ face in subsequent IG Story posts seem too intentional to not at least scrutinize. But the overwhelmingly likely interpretation is that this is an endorsement, so we won’t reach too much. Nevertheless, Benito’s principal focus is on Puerto Rico, something that also resonates with Boricuas on the mainland despite harmful bigotry threatening to silence that.

Elsewhere, Bad Bunny is still apparently linked to Kendal Jenner, and spent a majority of 2024 rolling out his trap-centric album from last year. Now, his priorities became clearer than ever. With just about a week left for the elections, we invite you to dive deeper into this issue of Puerto Rico if it’s unfamiliar to you.

Amber Rose Shades Beyonce For Kamala Harris Endorsement Speech

Amber Rose is firmly on Donald Trump’s team for this upcoming election between the convicted former president and Vice President Kamala Harris. At the Republican National Convention earlier this year, she gave a speech about the reasons why she stands behind No. 45 and why she opposed the Democratic Party’s candidate. But when the model heard Beyonce speak at a Texas rally in Houston, she couldn’t help but get some deja vu. “She wanna be me so bad. Literally took my whole speech,” she claimed in an Instagram comments section about the superstar’s remarks. Seemingly, it’s over their comments on motherhood.

“We are at the precipice of an incredible shift, the brink of history,” Beyoncé expressed. “I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother. A mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in.” Here’s an excerpt of Amber Rose’s RNC speech: “Most importantly, I’m a mother. My whole world revolves around providing for my children, keeping them safe, and giving them an opportunity for a better life. That’s something that unites all American parents. Whether we’re Republicans, Democrats, conservatives, or liberals, we all want a better country for our children.”

Amber Rose Reacts To Beyonce’s Kamala Harris Endorsement

Elsewhere, both celebrities are busy dealing with rumors, speculation, and drama surrounding their names. In the case of Amber Rose, she recently addressed the viral fight that she engaged in with Joseline Hernandez on the College Hill: Celebrity Edition reality television series from BET. Rose claimed that Hernandez talked smack about her, but also stated that she never wanted to fight and tried to stay quiet about the whole thing. Finally, she wished Hernandez and her family the best.

On the other hand, Beyoncé and Jay-Z allegedly reached out to Jason Lee for his supposed comments on their friendship with Diddy amid the Bad Boy mogul’s scandal. He doesn’t understand why they supposedly got into contact when his supposed remarks on the matter didn’t even implicate them significantly in his eyes. At press time, the couple hasn’t publicly addressed all the speculative allegations surrounding them and Sean Combs. Instead, they’d rather endorse Kamala Harris for the United States presidency.

Lil Pump Takes His Taylor Swift Trolling To The Next Level With His Latest Outfit Choice

Lil Pump shared a picture of himself wearing a white t-shirt with the phrase, “F*ck Talor [sic] Swift,” written on it for his latest Instagram post. In the caption, he wrote: “JUST A QUICK REMINDER FOR THE SWIFTIES.” It’s the latest of several posts Pump has directed at Swift since she endorsed Kamala Harris in the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election. Pump has been a vocal supporter of her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, for years at this point.

Swift made her endorsement of Harris in a post on Instagram, earlier this month, after the Vice President took on Trump in a presidential debate. She wrote: “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”

Pump hasn’t been the only one to criticize Swift on social media in response to the move. Trump also wrote on his Turth Social media platform: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Additionally, he discussed her endorsement during an appearance on Fox & Friends, comparing her to Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Britney. “Well, I actually like Mrs. [Patrick] Mahomes much better. If you want to know the truth. She’s a big Trump fan. I was not a Taylor Swift fan,” he said at the time. Swift, who is dating Mahomes’ teammate Travis Kelce, has become close friends with Britney over the last year.

Taylor Swift’s Kamala Harris Endorsement Sparks Clashing Reactions Online

Taylor Swift officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in a lengthy statement on Wednesday morning, following her fiery debate against Former President Donald Trump. In her statement, Swift brought up an AI image of her falsely endorsing Trump, the dangers of misinformation, and even threw shade at Trump’s running mate, JD Vance.

As for her choice of Harris and Walz, she explained: “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. Why Amber Rose Is Getting Hate For Supporting Trump 2024

Amber Rose has recently come under hot water due to her recent endorsement of Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. This endorsement marks a significant departure from her previous criticisms of Trump. Furthermore, it has sparked a heated response from her followers and the public. Known for her strong advocacy for women’s rights and anti-racism, people have found it shocking that Amber would support a man who goes against everything she has been fighting for. She’s not backing down, however, and has continued to defend her choice to support Trump.

A post shared by Amber Rose (@amberrose)

On May 20, 2024, Amber Rose posted a photo on Instagram with former President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump, captioning it: “Trump 2024, along with three US flag emojis.” The photo immediately prompted backlash. Critics of the photo and Rose’s stand were quick to point out the apparent hypocrisy, especially given Trump’s history with women’s rights and issues related to racism. They also pointed out that Trump had a history of misogynistic statements and policies that have been harmful to the causes she claims to support.

Not to mention, Amber Rose herself has criticized Trump in the past. In a 2016 interview with The Cut, she labeled Trump an “idiot.” Moreover, she stated that she had hoped he would not be president. “He’s a f*cking idiot,” she said. “He’s so weird. I really hope he’s not president.” Similarly, some of Amber Rose’s tweets, where she was criticizing Trump, have resurfaced. In these tweets, she also likened Trump to trash and called him a sexual predator. This past condemnation makes her recent endorsement even more perplexing to many of her fans.

What Amber Rose Stands For

Amber Rose is quite known for her advocacy for certain causes. These include: feminism and women’s rights, as well as the LGBTQ+ community, and anti-racism. She has organized numerous “SlutWalk” marches, which have helped raise awareness on ending rape culture. She has also been a vocal advocate for racial equality. As a mixed-race and bisexual woman, Amber has stood for these causes throughout the years. So what’s changed all of a sudden?

Following Amber Rose’s post, fans and critics have highlighted that Trump stands against everything she has worked for. Some fans noted Trump’s involvement in appointing Supreme Court justices who contributed to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, a landmark decision that protected women’s reproductive rights. This decision has been seen as a significant setback for women’s rights in the U.S. Former President Donald Trump has also garnered significant support within predominantly white and conservative Christian communities. Additionally, he has a history of racially insensitive remarks and policies that are harmful to BIPOC Americans.

Backlash Following Amber Rose’s Sudden Support Of Trump

Notably, Trump has also been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women, and Amber Rose is well aware of this. After all, she has also labeled him a sexual predator. Therefore, her outright support for him is even more controversial. Many have expressed disappointment and disbelief, with some suggesting that her endorsement undermines her previous work, as well as her public stance on women’s issues.

Response To The Backlash

In response to the backlash, Amber Rose commented under a post from The Shade Room. She argued that people should do their research, and suggested that Trump offers a more reasonable stance on certain issues, compared to other political figures. She also defended her position by claiming she would always put women first. “Lmaooo yall think Biden cares about black ppl??? Sad. Do ur research. I did. I’ll ALWAYS put women first… Trump supports the most reasonable compromise on abortion. Stop being brainwashed cuz WE’RE ppl of color. Make your own decisions.”

Her response has only fanned the flames of criticism even more. In response to the claims that Trump is anti-LGBTQ, Amber Rose posted a 1998 video of Trump claiming to be “all for guys that like men.” However, this has continued to rake in more criticism. Amber Rose is being accused of grasping at straws, especially since Trump has been vocally against most, if not all of what she stands for.
