Julia Fox Talks Dating Drake & Ye

Ever since famously starring in Uncut Gems in 2019, Julia Fox has steadily been in the headlines. Whether for her fashion choices, her meme-worthy statements or her short fling with Ye, the 32-year-old is a hot topic.

During her brief romance with the disgraced rapper, the pair were spotted out together several times.

The Uncut Gems actress recently sat down for an interview with Andy Cohen. During their conversation, the talk show host doesn’t hold back when asking her about her dating history. He reads her a question sent in from a fan, asking the mother of one what’s the best celebrity date she’s been on.

“I flew on a private jet, cuddled on the jet, landed, got some Chanel bags. It was just great,” she exclaims, before saying she can’t disclose who it was with. “I really, really can’t say, but it was obviously an A-lister,” says Fox. After Cohen says everyone wants to know if it’s Drake, she replies, “maybe,” cracking a smile. It certainly seems as though it was with the Certified Lover Boy.

Elsewhere in the interview, the 32-year-old also addresses some aspects of her relationship with the “Gold Digger” rapper. “We were literally together for like a minute. I don’t think he even knows my full name or anything,” she confesses to the Watch What Happens Live! host.

The couple began dating last year, shortly after the 45-year-old’s divorce from Kim Kardashian. However, they only lasted for about a month. The actress says she dumped the father of four due to his “unresolved issues.”

Of course, Drizzy and Ye have a rather complicated past with each other. After beefing for years, they put their differences aside to unite on stage in late 2021. Both artists performed at the concert, which was put on in order to bring attention to the “Free Larry Hoover” movement.

Fox’s alleged date with the Toronto superstar allegedly happened before her fling with Ye. Regardless, the exact timeline is unknown and the seemingly new update is certainly interesting.

[WATCH] Quentin Miller Says He Never Got Paid from Drake Songs

Quentin Miller Says He Never Got Paid from Drake Songs

Words by: Brandon Williams

Quentin Miller received the credit for helping Drake with songs on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, but he did not get paid.  The songwriter told VladTV that Tricky Stewart gave him a “horrible” publishing deal.

”I’m working with a n**** that literally is about to change my life, even though I was in my horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible publishing situation with Tricky so I never got a publishing check off of any Drake songs”

Stewart is a known songwriter, producer, and publisher that has been around since the 90s.  He has won five Grammys throughout his career.  Without getting paid, Miller needed to find ways to feed his family.  He revealed that he was getting paid “under the table” to make ends meet.  Tricky just recently let the Atlanta songwriter out of the deal.

”I didn’t get out that deal ‘til 2019, 2020; I signed 2011.  I had to let go of a lot of s*** just to get out”

That whole time he just decided to keep working until something big happened, and it did.  He got the opportunity to work with Drake, but it didn’t turn out how it should’ve.  After working with Drake on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, Meek Mill and the “In My Feelings” rapper were in a beef that Miller couldn’t control.  Meek MIll accused Drake of using ghostwriters in his music, to which Miller’s name was brought up.  This started a long conversation on whether Drake used ghostwriters, how long he has used them, and which songs, if not all.  This ordeal became messy, and Quentin’s name wasn’t uplifted in the conversation.

Drake released his mixtape, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, in 2015.  It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and was nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammys.  Quentin Miller receives writer credit on four songs: “Legend,” “10 Bands”, “Know Yourself,” and “Used To.”

Popcaan And Drake Won’t Let January Go Too Long Before Dropping Their ‘We Caa Done’ Single

Drake started the year off by making his directorial debut with TVGucci’s “Bora Bora” music video, depicting a lavish party and overflowing wealth. “I visit Bora Bora ’cause I’m bored,” TVGucci flaunts in the hook. Drake’s next collaborative offering with Popcaan figures to deliver the same vibe.

Popcaan posted a teaser video to his Instagram today, January 4, which Drake reposted to his Instagram Story. In it, Popcaan lights one up, Drake cruises the ocean on a jet ski, and bikini-clad women walk around under palm trees. Popcaan’s “We Caa Done” featuring Drake is expected to drop on Friday, January 6, giving it six full months to morph into an undeniable summer jam.

Popcaan has been an OVO artist since 2019. During the Jamaican dancehall artist’s Unruly Fest in December 2018, Drake made a surprise appearance and announced to the audience that Popcaan was “officially” signing with his OVO label.

Popcaan dropped his Fixtape project in August 2020, and Drake was the featured artist on tracks “Twist & Turn” and “All I Need.”

Popcaan fans have been waiting for his Great Is He album, and the release date appears to be drawing nearer. Yesterday, January 3, he shared the cover art and tweeted alongside it, “New year, new gear, new blessings, new money, new music!”

In 2022, Popcaan released potential Great Is He singles “Skeleton Cartier,” “One Way,” “Next To Me” featuring Toni-Ann Singh, and “Set It.” He also featured on Burna Boy’s triumphant afrobeats album, Love, Damini.

Burna Boy is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Popcaan Announces New Single With Drake

OVO is jumpstarting 2023 with some breezy vibes as Popcaan plots the release of his next single.

This morning, Popcaan announced that he would be coming through on Friday with a brand-new single alongside Drake. The two will be teaming up on “We Caa Done,” due out on Jan. 6th.

It seems like both Drake and Popcaan will be setting the tone with the forthcoming effort for 2023. While Drake came through with two projects in 2022, Popcaan hasn’t dropped a solo effort since 2020’s Fixtape. The two collaborated on the singles, “ALL I NEED” and “TWIST & TURN” alongside PartyNextDoor off of the project. Prior to announcing the single, he teased a project titled, Great Is He.

Drake signed Popcaan to OVO Sound officially in 2016. Three years later, he released his debut project on the label, Vanquish. Hopefully, the release of “We Caa Done” will lead to a brand new project from the dancehall star.

The Canadian rapper’s on pace to have another major year on his hands. After releasing three projects in the span of 14 months, Drake will be hitting the stage at Harlem’s legendary Apollo Theatre later this month for back-to-back shows. The concerts were initially postponed in the wake of Takeoff’s passing before they were, once again, pushed back to 2023. The rapper will perform an intimate set at the Apollo on January 21st and 22nd, 2023.

“These upcoming shows for SiriusXM are so incredibly special for us. If you are going to play the world famous Apollo Theater, it has to be a world class production,” read a statement from Drake, SiriusXM and Sound 42. “We as a team have been working around the clock not just putting together a concert but an experience our fans deserve. With that said, we are up against some production delays that are just out of our control.”

Quentin Miller Suggests Nicki Minaj Gassed Up Meek Mill To Attack Him

Quentin Miller’s sharing some revealing details about an infamous era of his career. Yesterday, we reported on the rapper/songwriting detailing his publishing deal and why he didn’t get publishing payments for his work with Drake. However, he went even more in-depth about the feud with Meek Mill in a new portion of the interview. This time, he discussed rumors of Nicki Minaj’s role in his attack.

During the interview, Quentin Miller began by explaining that he felt like he was the Beanie Sigel to OVO. “I wasn’t riding like Beanie Sigel, obviously, but I definitely — I was OVO first,” he explained. “Like, in any situation, I was riding. Even down to me putting the letter out there.”

QM said that he tried to downplay his involvement in the ghostwriting scandal to protect Drake, only to have the label’s true intentions surface. “The whole time was, ‘Okay, get him to clean it up and then, fuck that guy,’” he said. “That seemed like how it felt.”

From there, Quentin detailed how his altercation with Meek Mill panned out. While rumors have swirled around regarding Nicki Minaj’s alleged involvement, Quentin Miller believes that there’s some truth behind it.

“Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, man,” he told DJ Vlad, who inquired about Nicki Minaj “escalating” the situation.

Nicki’s accused of gassing up Meek Mill following the Nike store confrontation. Vlad said that she’s rumored to have told Meek Mill to go fight Quentin Miller after the Philly rapper returned to the car.

“There’s no way you could be hearing shit, I’m hearing shit, Drama’s alluding to shit… And again, this is coming from a Nicki Minaj fan,” he said.

“If that’s true, ’cause it’s still alleged and I can’t put that jacket on there, you know? But, if it is true, damn, man. That’s all I could say,” he said.

Metro Boomin Blesses Fans With OG Version Of “Knife Talk”

Over the course of the past few years, Metro Boomin has been one of the hottest go-to producers for some of the best rappers in the game.

On top of producing full-length projects for artists like 21 Savage and Big Sean, he also puts together impressive compilations with an array of artists on his own albums.

On Tuesday (January 3), the “Ric Flair Drip” producer randomly took to his Twitter account to share the original version of Drake and 21 Savage’s “Knife Talk.” Of course, the song is from 2021’s Certified Lover Boy and is a fan favorite.

However, the beat was originally just a collaboration between the Savage Mode artists. The original title for the song, “Gang Sh*t” is appropriate, considering the repetition of this phrase on the hook.

As a result of Drake not appearing on the original, the second verse from the “Glock In My Lap” rapper is extended. The song was first meant to be on Metro and 21’s SAVAGE MODE II. However, the Atlanta native explained to DJ Akademiks that the 6 God heard the song only a few days before CLB‘s release. He subsequently added his own verses, putting it onto the album as a last-minute addition.

“He did his verse the day before the album came out. I had that song. That song was supposed to go on Savage Mode II, but something was just telling me, hold on to it,” explains the 30-year-old.

Evidently, Metro and Drizzy continue to be locked in together. Just a couple of days ago, the “One Dance” artist’s unreleased verse on “Stance” leaked on social media. The song already features Travis Scott and Young Thug. Obviously, it didn’t make the final cut of Metro’s latest album, HEROES & VILLAINS. Check out the verse in the tweet below.

Furthermore, the 29-year-old also has a production credit on “More M’s” off of the Toronto star’s latest album. Of course, this is the 21 Savage collab, Her Loss.

What are your thoughts on the OG version? Do you prefer it over the one that we officially got on CLB? Comment below. Finally, make sure to stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest music news.

Drake Made His Directorial Debut By Leading The Party-Fueled Music Video For TVGucci’s ‘Bora Bora’

After years of being in front of the camera for his own music videos, Drake recently stepped behind one to make his directorial debut: He directed TVGucci’s new video for “Bora Bora.”

In it, Drake himself makes an appearance as the two artists party it up in a restaurant with drinks, the entire group of friends, and a bunch of women. There is also a theme, as it seems to be an all-white party. “The following is based on actual events,” it reads on the screen.

“I visit Bora Bora ’cause I’m bored / Swish, I scored / First class, all aboard / Vision clear like the port / Gucci drip, I need more / Christian Dior / They don’t sell us in the stores / B*tch, I get it from the source,” TVGucci raps on the track.

As both rappers are from Toronto, they frequently support each other and work together. Drake even recently gave him a shout-out in a line on “Middle Of The Ocean” from his recent album, Her Loss. (He’s also name-dropped him on 2018’s “No Stylist” by French Montana and a 2009 demo of “Successful.”)

“It’s my boy, it’s my brother,” TVGucci said during an interview at Rolling Loud Toronto.
