Drake Supports Young Thug With Custom “STOP RICO” Hoodie

Drake has collaborated with both Young Thug and Gunna in the past. However, as the former artist remains behind bars, it’s become increasingly clear where the Canadian’s loyalties lie. Gunna gave us a surprise featureless record earlier this summer. Shortly after, Thugger relied heavily on the support of his pals to drop BUSINESS IS BUSINESS from jail. Drizzy appeared on two titles “Parade on Cleveland” and “Oh U Went” – one of which finds the YSL leader throwing shade at Wunna.

The DS4EVER artist was released on a plea deal earlier this year. Jeffrey Williams, on the other hand, has been denied bond several times. He’s believed to be a flight risk, among other things, by those overseeing the RICO investigation, leaving him locked up as the jury proceedings continue. It’s unclear exactly how long it will be before all 12 members are selected. Still, the So Much Fun hitmaker is surely tired after already awaiting his fate for over a year. Thankfully, much of the music industry is standing behind Young Thug as he continues to stay strong.

On Friday (August 11), Drake made it clear that his “Way 2 Sexy” collaborator is on his mind. He notably donned a white “STOP RICO” hoodie for a series of mirror selfies. The artwork on the sweater is an animated take on Thug’s Jeffrey mixtape album cover. Of course, there were some political touches added in to enhance the message. “3 the guys out the you know…” the Scorpion artist wrote in his caption.

As he continues across North America on his It’s All a Blur tour, Drake has been feeding his fans with consistent Instagram content. Most of it comes from the antics that unfold at his concerts by attendees or celebrity friends, but this weekend, he shared adorable new photos with his young son, Adonis. See what Lil Yachty had to say about his friend’s photo dump at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Drake Tattooed His Son’s Name On The Back Of His Neck, Adding To His Massive Collection Of Body Art

Drake’s fatherhood has been called into question by Pusha T in his now infamous diss track “The Story Of Adidon.” Even users on TikTok raised an eyebrow after the “Search & Rescue” rapper joked about not knowing how much his son, Adonis Graham, weighed at the time of his birth. However, Drake hasn’t been fazed by the critics. He’s put his love for his son on full display by tattooing Adonis’ name on the back of his neck.

In photos shared by HipHopDX, Drake debuted the new body art while hanging out with friends. This isn’t the first inked piece dedicated to his curled hair cutie.

In 2019, Drake showcased an expertly crafted portrait of Adonis on his right forearm. The musicians added the mural to his already massive string of images of his family members on his body. In 2014, Drake inked a picture of his father, Dennis Graham, to which he returned the sentiments in 2017 with a tattoo dedicated to Drake on his upper shoulder.

Drake also has detailed illustrations of his maternal grandmother, uncle, and mother tattooed on his back.

But Drake’s tattoo of his son’s name isn’t the only new ink the musician was spotted with. The entertainer also tattooed his mother’s first and middle initial, SG (for Sandra Gale), on his face.

Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” Eclipses 100 Weeks On Billboard 200

There is no doubt that Drake a legend, whether people like to agree with it or not. He continues to make millions on every tour, he is a massively influential figure in the hip-hop space, and his albums remain relevant. Even with albums such as Thank Me Later and Take Care that were released over 10 years ago, they are in constant rotation in people’s music choices. Moreover, every one of his albums has generational hits on them. With that being said, it is no shock that Drake’s solo effort, Certified Lover Boy (2021), has held its own on the Billboard 200 chart.

In fact, it is now been 100 weeks, which is the sixth album to reach that mark. The longest-standing project is Take Care, flexing its timeless replay value muscles with 544 weeks on the chart. Again, it is easy to see why Certified Lover Boy is still popular now. With songs like “Knife Talk,” “Fair Trade,” and “Way 2 Sexy,” that have platinum certifications for days, Drake just knows how to craft hit songs.

No matter what Drake does with his music, fans will be clamoring to listen to anything he puts out. For example, Honestly, Nevermind was a totally different direction for him to go in for an entire project. He has tackled the dancehall and Jersey club style beats on songs, but not for nearly an hour’s worth of material. Furthermore, Honestly, Nevermind divided so many rap fans but it still managed to rack up the streams and units sold. Now, we cannot wait for Drake’s forthcoming record For All The Dogs.

What are your thoughts on Drake’s latest accomplishment? Out of all nine albums on the Billboard 200 which is your favorite project? Is Drake the greatest rapper of all time, or just this generation? We want to hear your hot takes down in the comments section. Additionally, always be sure to keep tabs on HNHH for all the latest record-breaking news around the music world.

Drake Trolls Fans At His Milwaukee Show For Sleeping In The Front Row And Wearing Yeezys

Drake’s It’s All A Blur Tour show in Milwaukee nearly was all a blur for one fan, who apparently fell asleep near the front row (maybe he worked a double shift to afford the tickets?). Fortunately — or maybe unfortunately — Drake spotted him while walking by and decided to troll him by posting up and singing at him until his friends woke up him. Once he was roused to alertness, Drake gave him an encouraging toast and a couple more bars before moving on.

Meanwhile, another fan also caught Drake’s attention, this time thanks to his wardrobe. But while Drake apparently appreciated his headgear, his footwear was a whole other story. “My man, I like the fitted hat with the…I feel you, dawg,” he joked. “You look good. Even though you got those Yeezys on, you still look good.” Of course, adorned in a tech vest with a glowing orange Nike swoosh on it, Drake wasn’t going to let the Adidas fly. Even though he’s technically patched things up with Kanye — although, being Jewish, perhaps Ye’s remarks last year didn’t sit too well with him — Drake’s always been a Nike guy at heart, and despite Adidas dropping Kanye, they still make the shoes — and sell them for a tidy profit, too.

Drake’s tour has been a well of hilarious hijinks as Drake asked fans to only throw bras onstage — only to become overwhelmed with underwear after his acknowledgement helped one especially well-endowed fan allegedly land an equally huge opportunity.

Drake Dreamville

Drake woke up a sleeping fan during one of his concerts. Videos from social media show The Boy strolling over to a portion of the crowd where a man fell asleep on the guard railing. The man wakes up and immediately continues the turn up with his friends.

Although the man was sleep, the show is far from a snoozefest. In fact, Drake‘s Its’ All A Blur tour is officially a record-breaking run. Over the weekend, Drake had a two-night stay in Washington D.C., taking over the Capitol One Arena. According to Chart Data, Drake is now the first rapper to ever earn $5 million in a single arena concert in U.S. history.

Each night of Drake’s show in D.C., he raked in $5.032 million. The show was also the highest-grossing concert in Drake’s career.

Drake has been walking through the crowd on his way to the stage as part of his It’s All A Blur Tour. With The Boy arriving in Philadelphia, Drake was escorted to the stage by Meek Mill.

Once he took the stage, Drake spoke about his history with Meek and how it once got spicy for him during a trip to Philly.

“I don’t stand up here and lie to nobody,” Drake said. “You see who I walked out here with, right? I’ma always keep it 100 with you. The last time I was in this building, that man right here, he’s been representing this city since he started in this shit.

“We weren’t getting along at the time and he’s a real n***a so he definitely got us up out of Philly real quick. We didn’t stick around and chill. It means the most to me that I could come back to this city and I could show the growth as two men that we come together and represent for mothaf*ckin’ Philadelphia together.’”

What Time Does Drake Go On Stage For The ‘It’s All A Blur Tour?’

Drake and 21 Savage have been blowing fans’ minds with their co-headlining It’s All A Blur Tour across North America — including them taking the stage in Milwaukee tonight.

The duo hit the road starting last month in support of their recent collaborative album that dropped last year, titled Her Loss. Those who are planning on stopping by likely have questions about when the two rappers will be gracing the stage. Here’s what to know.

According to Setlist.FM, the set times for past shows in cities like NYC and Washington D.C. place Drake (and 21 Savage) starting things around 9:10-15 p.m.. Then, the show would wrap around 11:15 p.m. — give or take five minutes, depending on the start time.

However, since not every city has the time listed for when he took the stage, this might be different from city to city.

As for the typical opening time for doors, this would vary depending on the local venue. The cities on the website that have set times listed place the doors at 7 or 8 p.m., as the duo does not have an opening act.

The It’s All A Blur North American leg is set to continue until October and fans can find a complete list of dates, along with more information, here.

Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs’: Here’s Everything We Know So Far

Drake is currently continuing his co-headlining tour with 21 Savage, but he also isn’t slowing down on the music front. Over the past few weeks, he’s increasingly teased that he has a new album, reportedly titled For All The Dogs, on the way.

The title was originally linked through a QR code that came with Drake’s poetry book. When users scanned it, it took them to a message that read:
“I made an album to go with the book. They say they miss the old Drake girl don’t tempt me.” Underneath, it had the “For all the dogs” phrase.

He then sported a dog mask while leaving his hotel — which marked an interesting choice of promo. Shortly after that, during one of his NYC tour dates in July, Drake told the crowd to expect the new album soon.

“Make new friends. If you drink, drink some liquor. If you smoke, smoke some weed. And if you like somebody, like my dad says, keep f*cking,” Drake said. “I will be back soon. I have an album dropping for you in, like, two weeks or some sh*t. But until then, just know, you’re always with me and I’m always thinking of you. Everything I do is for you. Every time I step in that booth, I hope I make you proud.”

Not much else is known about the tracklist or features yet, though.

Here’s hoping Drake lets For All The Dogs loose soon so fans can hear it.

Is Drake’s New Album ‘For All The Dogs’ Coming Out Soon?

Drake has been busy on the It’s All A Blur Tour with 21 Savage. He’s catching bras from audience members and inviting J. Cole on stage to surprise fans.

At the seventh New York City stop on the tour, which took place on July 26, Drake revealed details about For All The Dogs, an album he first teased in June.

“Make new friends. If you drink, drink some liquor. If you smoke, smoke some weed. And if you like somebody, like my dad says, keep f*cking,” he said. “I will be back soon. I have an album dropping for you in, like, two weeks or some sh*t. But until then, just know, you’re always with me and I’m always thinking of you. Everything I do is for you. Every time I step in that booth, I hope I make you proud.”

When Drake released his poetry book Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream Of Consciousness, he also revealed that he would be sharing a new LP For All The Dogs. A QR code showed a message from Drake: “I made an album to go with the book,” it read. “They say they miss the old Drake girl don’t tempt me.” Subtext below read “FOR ALL THE DOGS.”

Keefe D Sold Items Related To 2pac Murder Says Cop Who Worked The Case

Recently the Las Vegas police raided a house which they later confirmed was in connection with the ongoing investigation of 2pac’s murder. While the investigation was never technically ended, it had been dormant for quite a while. With renewed interest from the police came renewed interest from fans. Now Chris Carroll, one of the first to arrive on the scene of his murder, is discussing some details. He joined The Art Of Dialogue recently and wasn’t shy about discussing the case details. One person he focused in on in particular is someone long associated with the case, Keefe D.

“This guy, Keefe D, has been shootin’ his mouth off for a couple of years now, openly telling everybody that he’s part of the murder,” Carroll begins. “He says he handed Orlando Anderson the gun and Orlando Anderson is the shooter, and shot 2Pac. He openly is saying, ‘I handed him the gun’ — well, that makes him part of this murder.” It’s long been suspected by many that Orlando Anderson, who died in 1998 was 2pac’s actual murderer. “I’ve heard rumors that he even had sold some items that he told people, y’know, were there that night. Whether that’s BS or not, I don’t know, but to think that not only is he admitting to being part of a murder but now he’s going to profit from the whole deal?” You can watch Carroll’s entire interview below.

Keefe D recently spoke about 2pac’s murder himself. He sat down on a different podcast to blame Diddy for getting him involved in it. That appearance came after news broke that police found bullets at Keefe D’s house and were testing them to see if they dated back to the rapper’s murder.

Earlier this week a ring worn by 2pac in one of his last public appearances was sold at auction. While the $1 million price tag got plenty of attention, even more people were shocked to find out that it was actually Drake who bought it. What do you think of Keefe D potentially selling items related to 2pac’s murder? Let us know in the comment section below.
