Drake Seemingly Lied About Feeding Kendrick Lamar With Fake Daughter Information, DJ Akademiks Reveals

Overall, Drake is in a bad spot right now. This is due to the fact that Kendrick Lamar came through with a blowout victory in their beef. “Not Like Us” is about to be the biggest song in the world and it has even beaten some of Drake’s Spotify records. Moreover, “The Heart Part 6” has been clowned all week thanks to its poor attempts at refuting the things Kendrick alleged on his songs. In “The Heart Part 6,” Drake also claims that he fed Kendrick the information about an 11-year-old daughter. This is a narrative that was prevalent on Twitter, and Drake co-opted it for his song in an attempt to make Kendrick look bad.

Some took Drizzy at his word in all of this, while others were incredibly skeptical. Well, it seems like the skeptics have come away with the win on this one. In the latest stream from DJ Akademiks, the hip-hop commentator admits that Drake’s team had no idea where Kendrick got the 11-year-old daughter information from. This essentially alleges that Drake made up the whole OVO mole narrative. As for where Kendrick really got his information from, that remains to be seen. One could speculate that he allegedly fabricated it in an attempt to make OVO scramble and implode from the inside out.

Drake Was Stunned By Daughter Revelation

Either way, Drake has been called out on two lies so far. The other involves his claims that Dave Free and Whitney Alford may have had a child together. DJ Akademiks debunked this claim on the very same stream. Needless to say, “The Heart Part 6” is not aging very well right now. That said, Drake has yet to comment on what Akademiks said on his stream. Only time will tell if that is going to change.

Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that this completely invalidates everything Drake said on “The Heart Part 6?” Do you think that Drizzy is going to come out and say something after all of these revelations from DJ Akademiks? DJ Akademiks Claims Drake Isn’t Done, Alludes To Kendrick Lamar Beef

DJ Akademiks’ Mother’s Day stream on Sunday (May 12) has a lot of people thinking that the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef isn’t as over as people think. While he remarked that K.Dot has more songs in the vault, more likely than not, he also theorized that there’s probably nothing that will drop in the very near future. However, the media personality did indicate that Drizzy is making a return, and that he will probably keep dissing his rival, presumably through subliminals or passing mentions based on his explanation. What Ak really seems to be getting at is that both sides have music planned for the future, but that any bad blood won’t manifest itself via a back-and-forth battle like the one we just witnessed.

Furthermore, this is all speculative and, from DJ Akademiks’ viewpoint, mere guesses based on what little we know and what the artists themselves have indicated. Drake already seemed to step out of the beef with his latest IG Story post, and rumors of a new Kendrick Lamar album floated around the Internet before the 6ix God mentioned them on “The Heart Part 6.” Most importantly for some obsessive fans, the streamer also said that both MCs probably lied throughout their diss tracks. As for the Toronto superstar, he likely lied about Dave Free fathering Mr. Morale’s kid, and the Compton lyricist presumably and likely lied about The Boy’s secret kid(s?), according to Ak and his previous stances on these family matters.

DJ Akademiks Speaks On The Drake & Kendrick Lamar Battle

Meanwhile, other rap media figures like Charlamagne Tha God still see a way forward for Drake if he wants to win this particular battle. But for a lot of fans, the ink is dry either way, and more escalation would only beat folks over the head way more than they wanted. Kendrick Lamar has seemingly claimed the crown, but a lot of the points that they made against each other probably will still manifest in their careers. The OVO mogul will still be a commercial juggernaut, and the pgLang creative will still receive heaps of acclaim for his work.

Charlamagne Tha God Reveals How Drake Could Win Kendrick Lamar Feud

Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s lyrical feud has garnered reactions from countless social media users and peers. Unfortunately for Drizzy, the consensus is that K-Dot came out on top. His response to “Not Like Us” was poorly received in general, as most felt as though it wasn’t nearly as hard-hitting as it needed to be in order to compete. Now, Drake appears to have waved the white flag for good, sharing a cryptic Instagram Story this morning hinting at what’s next for him. “Good times,” he captioned an image of a singular samurai facing a large cavalry. “Summer vibes up next.”

Despite Drake seemingly declaring the beef over, fans continue to come up with hypothetical ways he could turn things around. During a recent episode of Brilliant Idiots, for example, Charlamagne Tha God shared his take. He thinks that what Drake would need are receipts to back up his accusations, like a paternity test from Dave Free or some kind of proof of Kendrick’s alleged domestic violence.

Charlamagne Thinks Drake Would Need Receipts

“Kendrick’s energy is to discredit him,” he explained. “Right now the reason that Kendrick wins is because he’s got all the energy.” According to Charlamagne, the reason there are threads backing up some of Kendrick’s claims is simply because Drake lost, and because people are more eager to see him knocked down a peg.

They went on to debate whether or not receipts would actually make a difference, agreeing that it may be impossible to match the magnitude of what’s already happened. What do you think of Charlamagne Tha God’s take on how Drake can come out on top in his feud with Kendrick Lamar? Do you think receipts would help him at this point, or is it just too far gone? Charlamagne Tha God Picks His Best Diss & Best Song In The Kendrick Lamar & Drake Beef

Now that the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef seems to be over, everyone is chiming in on who they think won and who came out with the better material. Of course, on that last point, a lot of people are distinguishing between two different categories: which was the better diss track, and which was the better song overall. That’s what Andrew Schulz, Charlamagne Tha God, and company debated in the clip below, and they also gave some interesting reasoning as to why they think there’s a winner. Whether or not you agree or disagree with The Breakfast Club co-host’s take, you can’t deny that it’s a very tough race either way.

“‘Family Matters’ is probably the best record [diss track]. ‘Not Like Us’ is the best song,” Charlamagne Tha God remarked. “Yeah, ‘Not Like Us’ is the best song. ‘Not Like Us’ is the best bop. Nah [Drake didn’t win]. He lost because of f***ing strategy. I don’t know if I really count ‘Like That’ or ‘First Person Shooter.’ I don’t know why y’all got ‘7 Minute Drill’ by J. Cole even up there, I don’t know why y’all got ‘Show Of Hands’ up there [with Future, A$AP Rocky, and Metro Boomin], I don’t know why y’all got ‘All To Myself’ [with Future, The Weeknd and Metro Boomin].

Charlamagne Tha God Praises Both Drake & Kendrick Lamar For Their Battle

None of that matters,” Charlamagne Tha God continued. “We’re talking about Kendrick and Drake. We’re talking about Kendrick Lamar and Aubrey Graham. That’s who we talking about. So if anything, I would keep ‘Like That.’ No, it doesn’t [‘7 Minute Drill’ doesn’t exist anymore]. I would keep ‘Like That’ and then ‘Push Ups.’ Then I would go into ‘Taylor Made Freestyle.’ Then I would go into ‘Euphoria,’ ‘6:16 In LA,’ ‘Family Matters,’ ‘Meet The Grahams.’ And then ‘Not Like Us,’ and then ‘The Heart Part 6.’”

Meanwhile, Drake is coming back out of the woodwork to ask the helicopters around his house to quiet down, and Kendrick Lamar is still quiet throughout it all. Maybe there will be an epilogue round to all this that brings more tracks, but it seems unlikely at press time. For now, let us know what your picks for the winner, the best diss, and the best song are down in the comments section down below. We’ll see whether this is really the end.

Stevie Wonder Thinks Kendrick Lamar & Drake Beef Is A “Distraction”

The Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef may be “over” as far as new songs go, but fans are still talking about it and debating over it as if it just broke out yesterday. Moreover, there have been a whole lot of takes on the situation from affiliates, fellow rappers, hip-hop media figures, pop culture icons, and even politicians, businesspeople, sports legends, and so many more. But for some stars, this whole feud is just another way to divide our attention away from more pressing issues that should inspire more unity. Stevie Wonder definitely agrees, as he recently spoke to TMZ at an airport about his thoughts on the matter.

“Any kind of war is bad for the world,” Stevie Wonder said of the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud, which has so far only been good for record labels. “Any kind of war. I have no bad feelings, I just think that the world needs to focus on what’s going on. ‘Cause those things are just distractions. Do you know the wars that are going on right now? Do you know the homelessness that’s going on right now? Can’t you see?”

Stevie Wonder’s Take On Drake Versus Kendrick Lamar

In terms of other reactions to the Drake and Kendrick Lamar battle, a more close source when it comes to the hip-hop game -– and a vital one, in this specific case -– may have offered his own take on the situation. 21 Savage has loyalties to both the Toronto superstar and to the producer of the beef-igniting “Like That,” Metro Boomin. However, his most recent tweet led some fans to speculate that he finally broke his silence on the matter, and the insinuated take within might surprise you. Still, this is just based off of interpretation of a vague tweet that hasn’t been confirmed to really be linked to the feud.

Meanwhile, Drake and Kendrick Lamar will likely not distract Stevie Wonder from continuing to advocate against A.I. technology in music. In fact, it would be very interesting to hear his take on Drizzy’s “Taylor Made Freestyle” diss. Considering that it recreates the voices of Tupac and Snoop Dogg through that technology, we can’t imagine it’ll be kind criticism. But we’ll see whether or not we follow in the legend’s footsteps and remember the more important things within and outside of the hip-hop war that we should focus on.

Drake Asks Helicopters Over His House To Let Him Sleep Amid Kendrick Lamar Beef

Drake has gone through a lot in the past month or so, and sadly, the Kendrick Lamar beef might be the least of his worries right now. Moreover, in the past week specifically, he experienced a shooting in his Bridle Path neighborhood that struck and hospitalized an alleged security guard, plus two separate incidents of attempted trespassing on his property. None of these incidents have been confirmed to be linked to the K.Dot beef, and at press time, any explanation for them remains highly speculative and unconfirmed by authorities. Regardless, The Boy recently took to his Instagram Story to ask helicopters circling his home to let him sleep and to change their schedule.

“@cp24breakingnews can we discuss the chopper flight times over the house cause I won’t lie I’m trying to sleep [heart emoji],” Drake wrote on his Instagram Story on Saturday morning (May 11). “Anytime after 3pm works great for me.” While some Kendrick Lamar Stans immediately started to clown this statement, he definitely deserves some rest regardless of what’s going on with their feud. Security threats like that are no joke and downplaying them reveals a misplaced obsession with having a “winner” in hip-hop. This adds onto other personal developments in the Toronto superstar’s life, including re-listing his California mansion for sale.

Drake’s Message On Instagram

Meanwhile, folks like TDE CEO Top Dawg think that this beef is over, so it’s more probable than not that these external incidents are precisely that: external. Of course, there’s really no telling either way, as pretty much any interpretation on this battle is equally susceptible to debunked misinformation or blindly fan-driven dismissal. Drake and Kendrick Lamar went at it for a couple of really solid rounds on wax that folks will remember for years. But it’s important to pull back on what really matters in these artists’ lives.

This also doesn’t help current rumors online concerning a viral Twitter discussion over a new video of Drake’s alleged “Meet The Grahams” cover art items. Now that folks dragged “The Riddler” into this and are trying to out-public relations each other, who knows where this could go next? All we hope for is that Drizzy and Kendrick Lamar find peace now and can acknowledge that the Internet will do the fighting for them. They deserve their proper rest.

Drake’s Alleged Belongings Appear In Cryptic New Video, Twitter User Defends Kendrick Lamar

Amid the fallout from Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s recent lyrical feud, someone new has joined the conversation, who’s now been dubbed “the Riddler.” Today, a mysterious Twitter user hopped online to show off Drake’s alleged belongings. The items appear to be the same ones featured in Kendrick Lamar’s original “Meet The Grahams” cover art. In an eerie clip, the individual plays the diss track on a laptop, panning over to reveal the items.

“#1. King @kendricklamar is not a liar, and I am not a thief!” they captioned the post. “#2. Mr. Aubrey Graham (@Drake) & Mr. Livingston Allen (@Akademiks) have until noon Monday 5/13/24 to retract your claims of theft, or my attorney Ms. Adrienne Edward and I will exhaust every legal option available.” At the time of writing, it remains unclear exactly who the person is. They didn’t stop there, however.

They then went on to share a photo of security footage from the Mark Hotel, where Drake stayed in January 2023. “To Mr. Aubrey Graham (@Drake ), may this photo help jog your memory as to where you discarded those items. The issue in the photo should also jog your memory. Jimmy Brooks would not have been proud of you that night,” the user wrote. A subsequent Tweet reads, “You’ve had many things discarded on your behalf over the years. I wonder if you can remember them all…”

“You’re blocking my money with your lies, so you have forced me to get it another way,” they also added. The cryptic and bizarre posts have since garnered reactions from countless social media users, who’ve been left to wonder who’s behind them. Drake Relists Beverly Hills Mansion After Recent Security Issues

Drake has seen brighter days. The Toronto rapper has been declared the loser of the Kendrick Lamar battle by general hip-hop community. To make matters worse, his properties have been subject to odd breaches. His OVO store in London was vandalized last week. Then, his Toronto security reported two trespassers on his estate in the span of two days. The property saga continued on May 10, when Drake decided to put his Beverly Hills house on the market.

The rapper relisted the estate last week, according to TMZ. The sprawling property spans 20 acres, 24,000 square feet of living space and has 7 bedrooms. It doesn’t stop there. Drake’s former house contains 22 bathrooms and a staggering 11-car garage.

The main part of the house is so large it’s actually separate from the guest space. It has every lavish detail you’d expect from the man who made “God’s Plan.” The property also comes with a sizable price tag. Drake is currently selling his Beverly Hills home for $88 million.

Drake Is Listing His Former Home For $88 Million

This is not the first time Drake has tried to sell the Beverly Hills property. He put it on the market with a similar price tag back in May 2023. The Los Angeles Times reported that the rapper initially paid $75 mil for it, which is more than twice what the previous owner of the property paid. (The previous owner was also a singer, UK star Robbie Williams).

Drake lived in the Southern California area during the 2010s, during which time he was neighbors with the likes of Justin Bieber and the Kardashian family. It was during this time, in fact, that Drake’s feud with Kardashian family member Kanye West hit an all-time high. The two men were supposed to record a joint album together around 2016, but West’s negative comments about Drake led to the album being put on the shelf. Both men subsequently relocated. Based on the fact West dropped a remix to the 2024 Drake diss “Like That,” it’s safe to assume they are still on the outs.

Drake Accused Of Stealing Bars From Twitter (Just Like Kendrick Lamar)

The classic rap battles of yesteryear didn’t have social media to gauge which rapper was winning, or which one was getting clowned. Drake and Kendrick Lamar have the blessing and the curse of knowing what their listeners think right away. It’s a blessing in the sense that they can tailor their music in real time. It’s a curse in that no matter what either rapper comes up with, there will be an X (formerly Twitter) who already thought of it. These two have to outsmart each other and the collective brain power of social media. Neither are doing too well against the latter.

Kendrick Lamar was put on blast May 10 when fans began to collect tweets from the past couple years. These tweets contains jokes and observations about Drake that showed up in Lamar’s various disses. It led to a widespread debate about whether Lamar used X to help strengthen his diss, or if he simply had the same approach as a handful of users. The most notable points of overlap were jokes about Drake’s favorite cord (“A minor”) and the flip of OVO to “OVOH*e.” Both of them appeared in Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss. Then it happened to Drizzy. Within hours of the Kendrick Lamar tweet compilations, users put together similar examples with lyrics from the 6 God.

The examples were culled from random Twitter accounts. One user suggested that Drake name his diss “The Heart Part 6,” which is precisely what he did. Another pointed out that Kendrick Lamar claimed to be a “big stepper” despite having a size seven shoe size. Drake made Lamar’s shoe size a major part of “Push Ups,” right down to having it serve as the basis of the single artwork. Is Drake a lyrics thief? If so, then so is Lamar, right? DJ Akademiks, of all people, came to the defense of the latter.

Ak, who has been a vocal Drake supporter throughout the battle, dismissed the claims that Lamar stole lyrics from Twitter. In his estimation, there’s bound to be overlap between songwriters and every clever comment on social media. The same logic can apply to Drake. Sure, some users may have beaten him to the punch in terms of song titles and/or bars. You can take any diss song made in the last decade and find parallels between the lyrics and Twitter jokes. Especially when the targets are this famous.

Top Dawg Claims That Kendrick Lamar Beat Drake: “Win For The Culture”

Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith occupies an interesting role in the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle. His label, Top Dawg Entertainment, was put on the map thanks to the latter’s run of classic albums. When it came time for Drake to release his Lamar diss, “Push Ups,” however, he took aim at Top Dawg. He claimed the label boss took advantage of Lamar and made 50% of everything the rapper took home. “Top said drop and give me 50” is the chorus of the diss. Regardless of Drizzy’s dispersions, Top Dawg has stood with Lamar throughout the battle.

He even declared Lamar the winner on May 10. Top Dawg, who has had plenty to say about the battle on X (formerly Twitter), said that K. Dot’s victory was a victory for real hip-hop. “The battle is over,” the label boss wrote. “A win for the culture, while keeping it on wax.” He then took aim at publications and outlets for misleading fans and spreading false information. “Especially when these publications try to make it something else,” he noted. “We proved them wrong. That’s a victory within itself.”

Top Dawg Also Announced A TDE Compilation Album

Kendrick Lamar left Top Dawg Entertainment in 2022. He went on to launch his own company, pgLang, which has been the epicenter for all of his recent Drake disses. Despite no longer working with the TDE crew, Lamar appears to be on good terms with all of them. Top Dawg and Terrence “Punch” Henderson have praised the rapper online, while Jay Rock clowned Drake after the release of Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” “Don’t be mad at me y’all 69 God lost,” the rapper tweeted. “Lol old a*s tweets y’all digging up and still can’t read or comprehend.”

Top Dawg is aware of the positive exposure that the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle has brought to his label. He is, after all, a businessman. He wrapped up the tweet by teasing a brand new release, and a first within the TDE camp. “On another note,” he revealed. “It’s time to wrap up this TDE 20 year anniversary compilation.” TDE has never dropped an official compilation before (excluding Lamar’s leftover project untitled, unmastered), so this is a huge deal. Given how big a role Dot played in the label’s history, it’s safe to assume he will be all over the compilation.
