Gunna Trolls Haters In New Instagram Post

There are few people who can’t catch a break more than Gunna right now. Every few weeks, there is a new scandal about the rapper. He’s beefed with Wack 100 and been accused of snitching on Young Thug. Even with successes like “FukUMean” and A Gift And A Curse, people still want to see him fail.

Most recently, a bizarre theory appeared online surrounding the music video for “FukUMean”. A fairly dramatic physical transformation for Gunna led some social media users to argue that the person featured in the video was not actually Gunna. The leading theory amongst these conspiracists is that Gunna was replaced by, or actively used, a “clone” for the video. Gunna himself took to social media to respond to some of the claims. The rapper quote-tweeted one claim that it wasn’t him in the video. Gunna crossed out the “Fuku” part of “FukUMean” so that his response just read “mean” instead.

Gunna Memes About People Wishing For His Downfall

Gunna shared a new post to his Instagram story that has got people talking. The post have the caption “Them: I can’t wait Until he fall off” and then “Me:” above a picture of a man balancing on a thin chain between two fence posts. The post’s meaning is pretty obvious. Whether it’s his musical style or the snitching allegations, there are a lot of people who want to see him fail. And yet, he persists, scandal after scandal, always teetering but never falling.

Furthermore, people were quick to defend the rapper against DJ Akademiks, the account that reposted Gunna’s story. “ak mad as hell they didn’t treat gunna like they did his friend snitch9ine😔,” argued one commentator. “nah you was sayin all the women wouldnt fw gunna if the street rappers stopped fw him, but every dime on tik tok dancing to fukumean nonstop😭😭😭,” added another. “AK only post gunna when it has to do with snitching or falling off,” someone else noted.

DJ Akademiks Says It Helps Rappers’ Careers To Beef With Him

DJ Akademiks says that it’s advantageous for rappers to start beef with him. He discussed the idea while appearing on The Joe Budden Podcast, earlier this week.

“I think, always in hip-hop, I’m still the person where if you go against, you’ll have a lot of people who support you. ‘Cause people claim ideologically they stand against what I’m for,” he explained.

From there, Ish chimed in with a lengthy explanation as to why rappers beef with Akademiks. “That’s strategically smart. That’s number one,” he began. “Now we gonna break it down, right? If I go beef with Akademiks, one, I’m never going to face any street repercussions. Where if I go beef with some of these other people, it’s a possibility that something could happen to me outside. Nobody wants that. We pick and choose who we shoot at in all of these media forms. N****s know, don’t go shooting at them n****s from Atlanta ’cause they really shoot guns. N****s know, don’t go shooting at these n****s from Chicago ’cause they really shoot guns.”

He continued: “N****s not gonna say too much shit about 50 Cent ’cause you might have to see him in the mall. When we go shoot at Akademiks, we know it ain’t gonna be no repercussions physically outside. We also know he has a massive following and the likelihood that he gonna shoot back is probable.”

Fans trolled Akademiks in response when the clip made its way to Instagram. One wrote: “Ak’s face says it all….bro called him a sucka to his face,” while another commented: “Ish called the n***a soft in the most respectful way possible.” Another user defended Akademiks: “For everybody saying “damn Ish called Ak soft to his face” Ak has openly said he’s not outside so there’s that & the biggest point Ish was making was rappers try to beef with Ak to boost their numbers…some artists need Ak. Don’t miss the bigger point to highlight some small shit.” Check out the full clip above.

DJ Akademiks Says He Still Doubts Tory Lanez Shot Megan Thee Stallion

DJ Akademiks says he remains “kinda a little doubtful” that Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. The Toronto rapper was convicted of three felony charges related to shooting, late last year. He faces up to 22 years and 8 months in prison. Akademiks discussed his case during a recent interview with VladTV.

“I thought [Tory Lanez] didn’t do it. I’m still kinda a little doubtful, but the verdict is the verdict,” DJ Akademiks admitted in the interview. “I think the people who were reporting at court at that time were biased.”

DJ Akademiks went on to note that even Drake was in agreement with him. “We even had Drake who said, ‘The chick is lying,’ And he took some flack for it,” he explained. “It became one of those things where the majority of the industry was like, ‘You know what? This Tory guy might be innocent.’” Drake had rapped on “Circo Loco”: “This b*tch lied about gettin’ shots, but she still a stallion. She don’t even get the joke, but she still smilin’.”

While it’s true that many artists in the industry side with Lanez, the same can be said for Megan Thee Stallion. Even Drake’s Her Loss partner, 21 Savage, recently voiced his support for Megan. “Wish I could give Megan a hug praying for you [heart emoji],” he posted on Twitter. Check out DJ Akademiks’ comments on the situation below.

DJ Akademiks Blasts Charlamagne, Gillie Da Kid, And Wallo

If there’s one thing DJ Akademiks is always going to do, it’s speak his mind with confidence, regardless of how the world perceives it. Back in the spring, he took a lot of heat for publicly slandering Yung Miami, but as we move into summer, the media personality has some new targets who are feeling his wrath. During a recent live stream, Ak specifically called out Charlamagne, Gillie Da Kid, and Wallo for failing to reciprocate a guest appearance on his Off The Record podcast.

“This liquor gon’ get me talking some s**t I’ve never talked,” the embattled blogger told viewers after admitting he broke open a bottle of Casamigos shortly after 7 AM. “Wack 100 connected me with Gillie and Wallo,” he began, sharing that the duo expressed interest in recording an episode with him. Akademiks agreed and made an appearance on their show. However, seven months later, he’s still struggling to get them on his. Afterward, he moved on to slander Charlamagne’s similar behaviour before praising Joe Budden as someone he has a relationship full of mutual respect with.

DJ Akademiks Gets Some Things Off His Chest

According to the podcaster, the circle of those he trusts within the industry is small. Apart from Budden, others he considers as solid collaborators include DJ Vlad and Adam22. Elsewhere in the stream, Akademiks addressed Drake’s failure to reply to his request for free It’s All A Blur concert tickets, revealing that he spent an astounding $30K on tickets to see the Canadian lyricist later this summer.

While DJ Akademiks stays busy seemingly trying to ignite some drama with Charlamagne, The Breakfast Club host is pusy concerning himself with another ongoing feud. He recently shared his thoughts on the beef unfolding between Pusha T and Jim Jones, which became even more intense with the arrival of the latter’s diss track this past weekend. Gunna Parties On A Yacht Amid Snitching Drama

Gunna was spotted partying alongside women on a yacht in a video circulating on social media, this week, following the release of his former YSL associate Young Thug’s new album, Business Is Business. On the track, “Jonesboro,” Thug references one of his “homies” snitching on him.

When DJ Akademiks shared the new clip of Gunna on Instagram, plenty of fans came to his defense. “Imagine missing out this lifestyle to be in prison with bunch of guys.” one user wrote. Another added, “He was suppose to stay in jail over this shit? I’d snitch too.” Gunna’s song, “fukumean,” plays in the background as a woman dances near the rapper.

Not every response was so positive. One fan commented: “Why do snitches get out and automatically get filmed around girls and money like that’s going to make us forget or some.” As for Young Thug’s diss toward Gunna, he rapped, “Y’all n****s just a bunch of d*kes, fucking n****s/N****s told and he was my homie/I can’t miss him/Ain’t nobody feel him.”

Despite getting out of prison on a plea deal, Gunna has repeatedly claimed he didn’t snitch on Thug or any other members of YSL. “While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” Gunna said said in a statement after his release. “My focus of YSL was entertainment — rap artists who wrote and performed music that exaggerated and ‘glorified’ urban life in the Black community.”

DJ Akademiks Reignites Freddie Gibbs Beef On His Birthday

Happy belated birthday to Freddie Gibbs, who turned 41 this past Wednesday (June 14). Many fans reached out to congratulate him, celebrate his music, and provide the occasional Twitter troll online. However, one important figure when it comes to the Gary, Indiana MC’s past beef isn’t letting up easy- because, of course, Freddie isn’t, either. DJ Akademiks took the opportunity to restart their beef with a birthday message making reference to his “Spreddie Gibbs” nickname, which has a shirt now, apparently. For those unaware, the name came about after his baby mama exposed him for ghosting her and… well, the moniker sums it up.

“Happy 41st Birthday to my former Opp,” DJ Akademiks tweeted late night on the Big Boss Rabbit’s birthday. “@FreddieGibbs… I aint know they had a whole shirt selling of u showing ur a**hole to ur ex before u got PEGGED. Yall go cop a t shirt of Spreadie Gibbs… go help suppport his BABY… them records aint finna do it.” The tweet came linked with a storefront where you can purchase a T-shit depicting “fan art” of the alleged picture with a call from Spreddie. Freddie Gibbs and the media personality started beefing way back in 2020 over comments the rapper made about Gunna being in a “Crime Stoppers” episode.

DJ Akademiks’ Happy Birthday Message To Freddie Gibbs

Eventually, it devolved into a long-running feud of them trolling and insulting each other every chance they get. Furthermore, the most recent development in that before Freddie Gibbs’ 41st was him addressing the former Complex host having a very small crowd show up to his live podcast. “Damn,” the “Feel No Pain” artist wrote on Twitter. It was a small comment, and probably not as hard as he would’ve liked to go. Maybe his situation with his ex-girlfriend is weighing heavy on his mind, or he just doesn’t want to give DJ Akademiks the time of day. He hasn’t responded to this recent birthday bash.

Meanwhile, the podcaster is convinced that he won the beef, even though it’s more of a war than a battle at this point. Also, is he really going to take the credit for another person’s exposé? “Since you N***as like writing letters… here go one…” he tweeted regardless. “DEAR HATER @FreddieGibbs I WON.” Moreover, that caption came with a picture of his ex in an adult film. Still, let’s see if the now-41-year-old lets it all slide to focus on his career or if their beef keeps bringing us hilarious moments. 6ix9ine Falsely Accused Of “Checking” A Fan in Colombia

6ix9ine is no stranger to controversy, In 2018, he was arrested after reportedly choking a 16-year-old at a mall in Houston. Furthermore, in 2020, he pled guilty to paying an associate to shoot fellow rapper Chief Keef in New York. Most notably, 6ix9ine spent time in prison for his role in the Nine Trey Gangsters trial. Now, he has been accused of “checking” a fan after a recent concert in Colombia.

In a video posted to DJ Akademiks on Instagram, 6ix9ine is seen pushing through a crowd of fans in Colombia. At one point, the rapper grabs and yanks the medallion around his neck and begins speaking in Spanish to a nearby fan. Akademiks captioned the video “6ix9ine checks fan who tried to take his chain in Colombia😳.” The implication of this video is that a fan tried to take 6ix9ine’s chains and the rapper put the fan in line. However, these allegations are false.

Translation Proves Allegations False

A post shared by DJ Akademiks (@akademiks)

However, commentators have disputed that this is the case. Firstly, the video does not clearly show anyone touching the medallion, with a brief incidental contact at best. Furthermore, commentators have argued that the allegation that 6ix9ine “checked” the individual in question is untrue. Additionally, commentators have claimed that what 6ix9ine actually says in Spanish clears him completely. “You’re wrong foo! They weren’t trying to take his chain. You don’t speak or understand our language though so I don’t expect you to know what you’re talking about. Smh,” one commentator wrote on the original DJ Akademiks post.

After independently translating the video, HotNewHipHop can confirm that the claim that 6ix9ine “checked” a fan is incorrect. As he 6ix9ine pushes through the crowd, the rapper yanks on his chain and says “esto no se sale” (“this does not come off”). 6ix9ine then walks closer to a fan and says “gracias por usted aquí en Colombia en Medellín la primera vez” (“thank you for having me in Colombia, in Medellín, for the first time”). At no point does 6ix9ine speak or act aggressively with a fan. Furthermore claims that he does should be taken as false clickbait based on a lack of understanding of Spanish.

Young Nudy Explains The Difference Between 4L And 4PF

There are so many rappers with so many different affiliations that people can’t even keep up. Even people who might really want to know those things, like Charlamagne Tha God for example. In a recent episode of The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne confused 4L and 4PF and needed Young Nudy to clarify for him. After he notices Nudy is sporting the 4L he confuses it with Lil Baby’s 4PF. Funny enough, Charlamagne doesn’t really know the difference. Thankfully, everyone is able to laugh it off and Nudy fills him in.

After Charlamagne asks “What’s the difference?” Nudy answers simply “we the biggest. Big 4L.” The video made the rounds on various news sites and social media pages today where fans expressed their surprise that Charlamagne would make such a mistake. While neither of the two have made any comments on the interview since it was released plenty of observers have chimed in.

Young Nudy Clarifies For Charlamagne

Young Nudy dropped his new album Gumbo back in February. The album sports features from Key Glock and 21 Savage. Speaking of 21, the rapper made a guest appearance last month at one of Nudy’s shows in Atlanta. The two teamed up to perform “Peaches & Eggplants” their collaborative single from Nudy’s new album. The two Atlanta-based rappers are actually cousins and link up with each other often on record. During the raid that resulted in 21 Savage’s memorable detainment by ICE, Nudy was also arrested and charged with aggravated assault. According to reports following the raid, it was Nudy’s assault in the first place that led to the raid and 21 Savage’s ICE detainment happened afterward.

The artist has been prolifically releasing albums for years. Gumbo follows 2022’s EA Monster and 2021’s Rich Shooter. Those albums feature guest performances from artists like Future, Gucci Man, and Babydrill. His track “EA” with 21 Savage recently received a new remix from fellow Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty. He debuted the remix back in April during a live-streamed DJ set. What do you think of Nudy’s appearance and explanation on The Breakfast Club? Let us know in the comments below.

Freddie Gibbs Flames Akademiks After Small Crowd Shows Up To His Live Podcast

Freddie Gibbs and Akademiks show no signs of making peace. Their feud began after Akademiks referred to the Gary, Indiana rapper as “irrelevant” following remarks Gibbs made towards Jeezy. That’s when things started to flare up between the two as Gibbs and Akademiks. The rapper and the media personality began to throw shots at one another online and in interviews but Akademiks seemingly got the upper hand last month. As Gibbs’s pregnant ex-girlfriend, Destini Fox, aired out their business, Akademiks brought her on his stream for an interview.

All in all, Akademiks believes that Fox’s appearance on his livestream, where she discussed the downfall of her relationship with Gibbs, was the nail in the coffin. Akademiks also shared a photo of Fox from an alleged porn shoot, writing, “I WON.” Gibbs hasn’t necessarily responded to Akademiks but he did acknowledge the fact that Fox turned him into a trending topic. He didn’t directly respond to the “Spreadie Gibbs” allegations, though he did poke fun at Fox’s claim that she stopped paying his phone bill.

Freddie Gibbs’ Latest Jab At Akademiks

On Saturday, the annual Roots Picnic hosted a podcast tent where they brought Akademiks to host a live interview with Lil Boom. While Akademiks became a synonymous voice with hip-hop and pop culture at large, it seems as though he didn’t necessarily have the strongest pull at the event. A video emerged of a portion of the interview where Akademiks appeared to only have a few people in attendance as he and Lil Boom chopped it up.

It didn’t take long for Freddie Gibbs to chime in. He quoted a video of Ak’s scheduled set, writing, “Damn.” It should be noted that the crowd grew shortly after but not by much. It’s not necessarily a checkmate in their beef but at the very least, Freddie Gibbs does have bragging rights that the majority of his live shows are packed. Still, The Roots Picnic is definitely more of Gibbs’s crowd than it is Akademiks. Ak hosted his set at 8 p.m., half an hour after Lil Uzi Vert began his set on the main stage and 15 minutes after Syd’s headlining slow on the Presser Stage. Check out Gibbs’ response to Akademiks above.

DJ Akademiks Reportedly Has Low Turnout at Live Podcast Appearance, Freddie Gibbs & Social Media Reacts

DJ Akademiks 9 22

DJ Akademiks was on hand at the Roots Picnic, delivering a live episode of Off The Record on the podcast stage. It must have been the wrong crowd for the controversial Hip-Hop personality, as only a handful of people came to the stage where he interviewed rapper Lil Boom.

The actual number of people who attended the live show is rumored to be eight of thousands at the festival, allowing Freddie Gibbs to continue his forever war with Ak.

But Gibbs wasn’t the only one…..
